Ditto (#132)

I random'ed Ditto today, and I guess it's going to be a special run down, since... I think I'd give it a around a 1/10.
SO... Ditto, the pokemon with transform as it's only move. It's _THE_ breeding pokemon. Which is interesting since it was in the first 151 in RGBY, which didn't have breeding yet. (I'm actually not clear which came our first, the games or the manga)
Ditto made breeding that much easier, but it's not without it's frustrations. Ditto as a Pokemon is typically rare, (Route 47 is littered with them, but that's beside the point), it has a low catch rate, and you can't breed ditto with another ditto. Which means, if you IV check your ditto and it has low IVs. Those low IVs are going to be breed down to the children.
THEREFORE. You have to catch A LOT of dittos before you get a respectable IV'd one.
Just personally, I have a full box of Ditto with all the natures, and each has 31 IVs in the +10% nature of each. Which is impressive... but considering I had to catch close to 60 adamant dittos before I got a good one. Blargh
Ok, aside from that, it's battling is poor. I mean check the Smogon.
And to rate the art, it's like rating every pokemon ;x
