Hierapolis' magic was pretty useless in this situation - he knew where the prey was, no need to track it down, so all he had to offer was to go for the physical with his weapon. Brute force was not something he often partook in, though he was quite capable. With the words of emowerment from Cybele and desire to stand with and protect Steins and their future, be sprung forth to aim an assault at the snake with everything he had.
Steins didn't know where all of the assistance was coming from - first the chain then the beam of light - but she was so greatful. Just as she was greatful for the show of comradery around her. It mde her feel a little more confident, and gave her hope. As the snake came crashing down, close enough they could finally start a true assault, she hesitated a moment as everyone lept in to action - overwhelmed. Even the normally slow and lanquid actions of her fiance were fast and fierce. Alright, that was it - she had to do this!
Haldane, Senshi of Doubt Location: E8 Action: attacking Total: 3x2 (late blooming senshi) = 6 HP: 65/100 -3= 62/100 Haldane wasn't sure what to do, but as the snake was within range and everyone was attacking, he supposed that is what they needed to do now, right? There was no more cosmic help coming, so it was up to them to give it their all. Okay. Okay, he could do this...he just hoped his magic actually did something, and didn't backfire on him too badly. The last thing he needed was to drown the battlefield in doubts. Not when they needed their hope and determination so badly...
Everyone had come together and each of their own factions had done their collective part, now it was up to each individual to go in and tear at this snake like ants. But little ants in a group could do amazing things to things many times their size. It was this thought that Bellatrix held in her mind as the assault upon the writhing snake began. She issued her strongest attack, deciding to start it of with everything she had - better to try and end this quick than to hold back and wish she had acted sooner.
As soon as the snake was within attacking distance, Hawara was on it. With weapon already in hand, he let loose his magic - a slicing wind - to strike it. This was a threat to all of them, and all of them had come together for one goal, but there was no time to think of the greater emotional or psychological repercussions. Not until after victory was won. And they would win. He had too much to lose, too much he had built over these past few years, to give up without a fight. So he would fight, with a ferocity.
Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journal Location: E7 Action: Attacking Hallow Total: 7 Using pin HP: 115
Morphues really wished his range of magic was larger so he could turn the Hallow into a fluffy bunny. He jumped into the air to touch the underside of the Hallow after he had touched his outfit and then poured energy into the creature to do as much damage as he was able to do. He also used his magic to turn his outfit into a bunny outfit in lavender and black colors. He figured that those who saw him might be amused and be comforted by his confident, silly actions. His bird also looked like a bunny on his shoulder. He didn't see anyone else by the spike he was at so his magic wouldn't effect anyone else unless they entered his area of effect.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Morpheus' Dreamweaver Range: By touch - area of effect totals 4' x 4' from the touch of his hand, continuing to move his hand over a surface expands the area of effect. Duration: 45 seconds Use Count: Useable 1x without energy replenishment. Miss Chance: N/A; does not directly impact player characters. Effect: Morpheus can either wipe his forehead or touch his dust-laden ribbon of his uniform to summon a handful of soot, which he himself inhales. During this time, Morpheus is able to touch solid matter and temporarily transform its appearance into any fantastical object of his choice.
When the arrow pierced the reflective surface of the scale, Arnica knew. There was a split second where he thought he’d felt the familiar presence of Mirrorspace–and arrow, and the chains attached to it, were clearly mirrors.
He didn’t know how sturdy they were be–weren’t they glass?–but he didn’t really care because it looked like it had done something. And the–was that the moon?–knocked the Calamitous Hollow, too.
“That looks like luck turning around, don’t you think?”
He watched the scale for a second longer, like he was waiting to see if any wraiths would jump out to join them, but he didn’t want to miss what might have been a very small window to strike against the creature. He had no idea how long they’d have before it took off again, and if it got away before they could stop it, what did that mean for Earth?
He wasn't willing to find out.
Arnica had magic to try, and even if he wasn’t sure if it would have much use against a giant, he was still willing to try. A flurry of mandragora flowers exploded towards the Calamitous Hollow.

Dark Mirror Super Sailor Laon Location: H9 Action: Managing not hearing well/nosebleed discreetly/hiding it from Arawn still ; attacking Total: (7 + 5 + 10 (Almadel’s Pin)) HP: 90/125
Arawn was attacking. Laon didn’t want to leave his side. He didn’t want to see Arawn hurt, didn’t want them to die here, didn’t want to lose Earth. Even if he’d worked so hard, and even if there was actually a way to just move into MIrrorspace and keep on living there,
He was still having a hard time hearing; it sounded like the were waves crashing in his ears. He was glad to be wearing black gloves that hid the blood from his nose well because that was one less thing to worry about, but he wasn’t entirely sure what Arawn had said. There was a ringing in his ears, and when he watched Arawn’s lips moved it was like seeing subtitles appear.
Laon naturally nodded as Arawn spoke to him, instinctively agreeable, but he understood what had been conveyed when Arawn lashed out at the Calamitous Hollow. Laon went with him, even if he didn’t think he was a great fighter. His magic allowed him to shift forms–or, at least, gave the appearance of it–so it was one less thing to worry about.
Arawn couldn’t panic if he couldn’t see that Laon’s nose was bleeding and Laon was confident that it would be over soon. And, if they beat the Calamitous Hollow then there was no reason to worry, anyway!
His magic was so gross; he appeared to transform into a hideous gargoyle, and the magic was wasted on the Calamitous Hollow because it didn’t even have eyes to see.
General Ashanite Location: A7 Action: Addressing the entire Negaverse via comm, attacking the Hollow with Almadel's pin! Total: 3 + 10 + 10 = 23 HP: 150 - 35 = 115
Alright. Fine. The White Moon had put on an impressive little show, and the Mirror had contributed with their fancy chain ballista. They’d dragged the Calamitous Hollow into place, and now it was pinned on top of the Vanguard’s fancy shield, and this was exactly the opportunity they’d been waiting for.
The shockwave from it made him stagger, and it hurt, but pain was an old friend.
He looked back towards Aquamarine--it wasn’t difficult to guess that he might be in distress, given they’d all been hurt but he was holding one of the damn spikes trying to drag the thing into place.
“I do so love talking,” he said, and Jet got a grin, too, as Ashanite produced his communicator from subspace.
“And I think this will do, for a microphone.”
Honestly, if he was being encouraged… perhaps a little theatrics would be helpful to remind Order exactly who they were standing next to, lest that lovely blast of moon light give them too many ideas of what they were capable of.
So Ashanite flicked on his communicator.
”Negaverse! This is our moment, and the beast is within reach. Remind our enemies exactly how powerful we are, and that they could not have reached this moment without our gracious assistance. We are the ones with blades and bows, and we will be instrumental in destroying the creature that threatens our planet. So show them all what we’re made of.”
He tucked his communicator back into subspace, and leapt up in a flash, letting the strange gravity carry him rather than bothering to teleport. His thumb flicked over the pin on his lapel, and he fell towards the creature, blade striking against one of its scales.
When he landed, it was feet first, and if it was a bit of a superhero landing leaning on his weapon, well…
The point was to show off.
Quote:

“That a girl.” Tama said to Hestia as he received a shock from the spike.
So this was it. The spikes were all in place. One sixth thanks to the team.
The damn serpent was finally in reach.
Time to test out his new powers…

Hati affectionately rolled his eyes at his sister and gave Asmodeus a quick smile. "Aren't you glad I'm not nearly as obnoxious?" he muttered to her, despite knowing that now wasn't really the best time to be antagonizing Skoll, but he couldn't help it. That's just what siblings did.
A moment later, he felt the change in gravity as the monster finally slipped from the sky and slammed into the shield. He winced a little at the impact sound, but held strong. Okay. They could do this. Now was the time to attack. He leapt up, heart pounding as the lightened gravity helped him soar higher and higher than he'd ever normally be comfortable with.
He barely even waited to land on the shield before shouting, "Moor Stalk!"
The monster finally dropped from the sky. Mirrorspace had done something—it almost made Volterra miss it. It was so... cool. But ne could never have gone, and ne was glad to have left. The idea of being allied with the Negaverse out of convenience made nem shudder. That awful Chaos blast....
The gravity seemed to have changed. Ne could feel it. Nis hair even seemed to float away from nis head a little more.
Hm.
Well, here went nothing, ne supposed, and ne leapt up, casting their first stage magic. Anything to distract the beast would be good.
Belenos squealed with utter glee as Mirrorspace delivered a sweet, sweet attack on the beast. "YEAH!!!" she screamed, punching her fist into the air as the monster collapsed out of the sky and slammed into the Vanguard's shield. It would probably keep holding; Belenos wasn't worried. She was, however, a little bit worried about being hurt, so she hurled her healing magic out.

Actaea grinned as she listened to the com message, as a corrupt senshi she had magic so she didn't have to go anywhere in order to attack the Hallow. She was a member of the negaverse she got pay and benefits the negaverse had a good plan and she had a good team. She smiled at Sodalite and said "Shall we see what corrupt senshi magic does to this creature?" She asked sweetly. She knew they liked attacking things and seeing them fall to their power. She sent her scythes at the Hallow to see what it would do and how much damage it would cause.
Super Sailor Scout Attack:
Reap what you sow.
Actaea summons a spectral, semi-transparent circle of wheat around up to two targets of her choice, and a spectral scythe for each field and begins to slash at the wheat--and the target(s). The scythe cannot be controlled or wielded and will appear as though it is just trying to reap the wheat. The wheat field has a five foot diameter around the target(s) and will follow them even if they run. The target(s) will feel the sensation of being slashed at while the harvest is occuring; the pain will end when the magic fades, though players can choose to take physical damage at their discretion. This magic is stronger than her basic stage, and slashes may feel more constant or deeper than before. The target must be within her line of sight, and the magic will last for 30 seconds and can be used 2 times per battle.

Vela was alone in a space and then she moved over with a group of senshi attacking the hallow. Vela raised her hands started to dance. Raining embers down on the hallow. She felt comfortable here since she didn't sense any chaos energy. She didn't want to join the negaverse again since she had been cut off from her world. That was what being a corrupt senshi meant. She didn't want that for any senshi it wasn't natural. Really chaos was being cut off from wonder and magic that was pure. She had met senshis and she had met dark mirrors and nega agents. Each had a darkness in them and chaos energy that effected the mind the longer a senshi served with the negaverse. It wasn't a world she wanted to go back to.

Dark Mirror Eternal Lacerta Location: H9 Action: Jumping up to lash out at Mr Hollow with her fists. Total: 8 + 10 + 50 (round bonus) = 68 HP: 150hp - 35 = 115hp
The situation seemed to be a little bit better as the scale that had fallen to the ground in the space next to the court had avoided hitting anyone. Not only that but it seemed as if Mirrorspace had loosed the ballista that shot out from the scale that had fallen through. The chain and arrow had struck the beast and Lacerta could only hope that was the end of the threat. It wasn't. Even as the creature continued to writhe in pain did a shaft of pure moonlight strike the beast. The impact to the shields as the creature fell out of the sky reverberated through those on the ground below and even as the redhead did her best to shake off the giant electrical charge that had passed through her ... it had not been easy. She was furious.
The anger that roiled forth from within had Lacerta seeing red. While she wasn't always one to feel the urge to do damage (must have been her sphere) ... there was a strange buildup of anger within her and she decided just to allow it to consume her. Leaping up in an effort that would have taken a lot more out of her had she been on Earth, did the Dark Mirror eternal reach the underbelly of the giant beast, and melee-style, punched and kicked at whatever surface she could physically touch before the limited gravity pulled her back down to the ground. Her breath came out in a gasp before she glared up at the thing that threatened Earth and had probably threatened, and destroyed, a lot of other worlds before it had been stopped the first time.
What would it mean for Earth if they couldn't defeat the creature?
General* Chalcanthite Location: E6 -> E7 (moving away from Cybele) Action: Attacking with Bow, pulling his group further from the princess just in case. Total:6 + 10 = HP: 115hp
While he didn't exactly know what Laurelite had done, he knew the increased quotas had allowed for this, proving more and more that the structure of the Negaverse was nothing to disregard.
What he did disregard was his fiance's request to lower his weapon; that was the last thing he needed to do. If anything, he'd gotten an arrow from his quiver just as the next hit happened. Watching the mirror space's weapon, he smiled at his fiance. While he had been a bit annoyed by how a mirror had shattered in his face when everything began, he was glad to see what mirrorspace had come up with.
Staring up at the serpent, he moved forward and closer to where it looked like it was going to collide, putting himself between the thing and his group. The jolt of electricity nearly made him drop his bow, his jaw clenching as he stood his ground and tried to breathe through it.
Seeing that a certain royal who also had magic arrows was a bit too close for his liking, he pulled the group further away.
"We need to get some distance, just in case, from that Princess. I saw her magic before at the bank and it would be best to not be in her range." Keeping his voice metered even as he hurried them along, he thought another message to his fiance.
We need to hit it, it seems closer, and my steps feel lighter. I want you to keep your distance, but do what you can. I doubt I can hurry around much more and still be able to get us out of here. That thing can do a lot of damage, and it being closer means it has more chances to do so. If that scale remains a mirror, it might be best for you to get us out.
That hurried panic bled through as he shifted and drew his bow, aiming to hit the thing in its underbelly where it had been hit by the mirror's arrow.

"It's hard to tell, I'm sorry, Melpomene." She felt frustrated that he'd even asked, considering her less-than-amazing vision. While the creature writhed with the next hits, she hissed at the rebounding electricity as it collided with the shield.
It reminded her of that glowing senshi, but without the benefit of being able to claw or kick back in response to the hit. At least until she realized that gravity seemed to be shifting as Chal pulled her and the rest of the group away from Cybele. She hadn't been close enough for her to worry, but she also hadn't experienced the princess firsthand as Chal had.
"I want to try something, just for a moment, then I can pick you back up. I would rather you not get hurt if this decision of mine is a bit rushed and risky." Patting the large blue mauvian in her arms, she set her down gently and sprang back up to throw one of the books from her subspace at the thing. It wasn't the best idea but every little bit would hopefully help.
Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journalEternal Corrupt Beatrix Location: c8 Action: Magic time, time to be fancy and get her "friend" involved Total:4 +10 = HP: 115hp
Getting a smile from Laurelite, that was good, at least Beatrix thought so and even as she got zapped, there was a hyper energy in her to show off and show how good she was at doing damage.
Jumping up, she smiled as fog spread out from her feet, it was different than before, this time she got to see her friend in all their spooky glory as they struck out at the serpent.
It hadn't grappled, not like it had done with her other magic, it had attacked it on its own and for that she let out a little laugh that would be all too unsettling for those around her.

Making a noise, not very lady-like, at the zap she felt, Aoede glared and rested a hand on her hip. Whatever Benitoite was doing kept him busy, so really it meant she had to fight, which wasn't something she preferred to do. It would be another thing if there were fewer people around her.
"You may wish to cover your ears, Stichtite knows, but things have changed, so it might not be as bad."
Kicking off the ground slightly, she felt almost like she was floating as she pulled her hands in front of her and shrieked into the space a mic might be between her hands. Just because the serpent was large didn't mean it was deaf, at least not yet. But with any luck, she could hurt it.
Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journalGeneral Stichtite Location: I4 Action: Attacking after checking on Miyamoto and listening to his cousin Total: 6 +10 = HP: 115hp
Listening to Benitoite, he kept his expression flat to avoid worrying anyone around, even as he wanted to shake his cousin as usual for the way they waved off serious medical matters with such ease. He wouldn't say it now, other than a few whispered words of how stupid they were being.
"When we get back, I'm going to be discussing things more in depth with you and Kafka." Because something needed to change before he would start having tension in his chest just from dealing with the pair.
The sudden surge of electricity that came with the serpent's collision had him gritting his teeth before he looked back over towards Miyamoto. They'd looked okay enough, at least as much as someone could be in this situation, so he turned his focus on where it seemed weaker, jumping up and slicing at its underbelly with the half of his rusted blade that he still had. He doubted the thing would feel the effects of it, not with how large it still was, but if it did, he hoped it would help bring it down.

"Oh Shhhhhhhhhhhhhuuuuuuugar honey and iced tea!" Yeeting her camera into subspace first, she pulled her arms up over her head as the thing got way too close for comfort.
Remarque being calm was amazing in her opinion because there was just so much going on that she had no clue where to focus her attention at first. At least until felt like she had what was both the stupidest and probably really wicked idea at the same time.
"Hybris, wanna stomp a snake?" Giving her friend a sheepish smile, she opened her hands after casting her magic to reveal a smaller and much less frightening version of the thing that was up above them before dropping it on the ground between their feet.
Jumping up, she stomped down with both feet on the doll, really grinding her boots into it as she looked over towards the group. "I'm hoping this works!"

Electricity was almost as bad as pollution when it came to the aquatic alien senshi, and he yelped as it moved over his skin.

Looking from Novella to the scale, she stared. "That will not fit in my shop or in either of the front doors of our wonders." How was he planning on getting it off the field?
She didn't get much time to dwell on that thought as another hit came in and she bit the inside of her cheek until she tasted copper. Oh, this thing was obnoxious. It looked smaller now too, small enough that she felt like giving it a good hit for the trouble it was causing.
Calling to Novella, she shook her head slightly. "It'll need to be a lot smaller if you want one of its scales."

She heard that voice again, moving further away, so she decided to follow. The woman she'd started to consider one of the few people who weren't a nusicance didn't look to be around but she kept swearing she heard their voice.
Turning her attention back towards the thing, she called out. "Vocal Cipher!" It was worth a try, if anything, it would give her some peace and quiet while the people around her talked off kilter.

General Lopezite Location: I10 Action: with Jasper and Kamacite ; attacking Total: 7 + 10 +10 (Almadel’s Pin) HP: 115/150
A thousand things seemed to be going on at once, and maybe that was a good thing. If Lopezite had spent any amount of time getting distracted by a single one of them, he might have lost the window to do something about anything. Instead, he was able to tune most of them out and just process what was happening in the immediate second.
Kamacite had voiced surprise at the Velencian shield, which was a sentiment Lopezite shared, but he hadn’t had much time to think about it before the Calamitous Hollow had crashed down upon it.
“Must be a pretty good one,” he mused. The shield seemed like it was buckling beneath the weight of the creature but it held. He knew a bit of the Vanguardian technology but he’d seen so little of it with his own eyes.
Jasper’s suggest to spread out their numbers seemed like a good idea, because now that they had an opening to attack it, it would have been hellish to try to navigate making a strike if they’d been surrounded by so many others. Over here, in their own little corner, they had plenty of space.
He took a few steps away so he could better brandish his weapon. “I’m going to see how hard those scales are. Kamacite, if you need us to step back so you can use your magic, just say the word.”
Striking the beast didn’t take any great effort, surprisingly; he wanted the momentum that came with propelling himself from the ground so he jumped and tried to slash between two scales to see if there was any softer skin to aim for.

Pendour, Knight of Neptune Location: F3 Action: Giving her own energy to the shield Total: N/A, trading HP for shield HP: 150-35-10= 105
The Vanguard was tense around the humans. She heard their accusation, even heard a weapon or two firing on her blind side. The sound made her wince, and she almost reached for her ocarina, but the conflict seemed to stall out before anyone was fighting in earnest.
The Uranus knight who had killed one of them walked away, and Pendour exhaled. She understood the distrust between their two people. She understood the flaws in humanity, deeply. She wondered if there was anything she could do to smooth things over.
She thought, maybe there still was.
Luckily, she didn't seem to be getting the same kind of animosity from the Vanguard that Oberon and some of the others were. Although she'd been right there, reaching for Caedus's starseed with Encke and Oberon, she hadn't been the one to put it back in his chest, which she supposed absolved her of most of the guilt in their eyes.
She wasn't absolved from her own guilt. She still remembered attacking that machine that had turned out to be connected to Lyndin's life force in some way. He seemed too focused on his machine to think of those things.
She winced to see her crystal crack, but the shield held. It had worked. People were still moving, still trying, still alive. She didn't let herself look at the snake, even as the lightning crackled into her skin. She didn't want to watch them kill it. She couldn't argue with their choice of fighting it, not this time, but she didn't want to see.
"Here," she told the nearby Velencyans, holding out her hands. Her Transcendence marks shone bright under the dark clouds. "I gave you the crystal, but you can have my energy, too."
As much as they needed. She didn't know if she wanted to be awake for this.

Commander Naeria Location: F3 Action: Shooting CH with her weapon Total: 4 (Using Almadel pin) HP: 150-35=115
It had been a long time since she had seen so many humans in one place. Dangerous ones. Deadly ones. An earlier version of her would have frozen up, would have curled into herself or Andreyia.
Now, she simply whispered to him. "Humans are strange," she said. "Their demeanor always changes when they are serving their own interests."
She did not curl up, though. She did not take her eyes off the others.
She was a Commander, she reminded herself. Vyn believed in her.
The Knight who had killed Cydfae left quickly enough, anyway.
Naeria did not speak much farther, but she did work quickly drain several of the humans efficiently, including the Princess and the Neptune Knight. She winced as the snake crashed into the shield and lightning blasted across the field, including into own body, but she she grit her teeth against it and stood tall.
She tapped the brooch from Almadel. Then she raised her weapon and shot at it.
(apologies if I accidentally quoted someone who moved)
Jasper watched enviously as Lopezite wielded his very large, very sharp sword.
In his hand, Jasper held a stainless steel straw.
He cursed Bloodstone again for encouraging his participation. He cursed himself for going along with it. Obviously Jasper would like the Earth to be saved, but he had no delusions about his ability to save it. He was a Lieutenant. All he had to defend himself with was a ******** straw—and his own fists, but he doubted those would do anything against the Calamitous Hollow. Probably less than the straw, actually.
Jasper sighed deeply.
He jumped once and thrust his straw against the beast’s underbelly. For a moment after, Jasper hung in the air, his small, stainless steel tube of a weapon stuck between two scales. He tried to wrench it free but his hand slipped and he landed back on his feet. He jumped again, scrabbling for it, but missed. Then he swore under his breath and remembered he could summon it back.
He did not look at either Kamacite or Lopezite.
“I’m begging you both to tell Bloodstone I actually put up a good fight.”
