Civilian Glamour Name: Julie Carmichael
Nickname: Jules, J
Gender/Pronoun: she/her
Age: 150 (21 human looking)
Birthday: When she feels like it
Sign: (Optional)
Gemstone: (Optional; follows your zodiac sign)
Blood Type: AB+
Fav. Food:Still deciding, there's too many options to consider
Hated Food: Things called peppers? They bring great pain to me.
School/Occupation: Nothing fixed yet, kind of bumbling around place to place
Hobbies: What does your character do outside of school/work during their civilian life? This should be an activity that they do on a regular basis, and should be something they could reasonably do in the setting and within their financial means. At least two hobbies are required, but up to five are welcome. Each hobby should be described with at least two sentences. Hobbies should be something that can encourage roleplay or be used to inspire roleplay, however players are allowed to have solitary hobbies as well. This can be a hobby that they had prior to coming to Earth, or something they will pick up after arriving.
Hiking: -- Julie is amazed with how everything is on this planet and wants to get out there and explore. HIking and walking around through the forests and hills, she wants to try and map out as much of the area as she can and learn about this place while having fun.
Eating/cooking -- Food has always been one of her favorite things and here on Earth, there is a limitless variety of every sort of thing to eat and drink, some things she never thought might even be edible if you asked her.
Virtues:Motivated -- Julie has goals, they just might not be apparent to everyone else. She's always up and about exploring and looking into things even in poor weather or when nobody wants to tag along. She doesn't need orders to get her started on an adventure and tries to get others to get up and go.
Curious -- There's so much here, so many things, and she wants to see it all. Keeping a virtual log of all the things she's seen, she never turns down a new experience or food to try. This also means people as well, she comes off maybe as charming with her interest in other's hobbies, ideals, and just everyday life, but it really just is her fascination with how things are here on earth.
Flaws: Trusting -- Julie believes that everyone has each other's best interest in mind which can lead to her getting looped into things that might not work out the best for her. She falls for scams or other alligator tear sob stories and does her best to help those. It works out for her when it comes to building a team but more often than not it leaves her high and dry or up the creek without a paddle.
Tactless -- Human language and social interactions are.... bothersome at best and frustrating at the worst moments. She doesn't quite understand why they sugar coat things or lie when it's easier to get things out there in the open to move things along better. It can lead to regular human civilians thinking she's rude or at least dumb in the way of social things but sometimes it works out for the people who appreciate that type of person. Even as she learns more about Earth and the people here, she's going to be to the point about things to make sure she understands and unfortunately it'll continue to rub people the wrong way.
CIVILIAN GLAMOUR: PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Velencians use a device that gives them a synthetic appearance; they typically only have one standard civilian appearance, however if it is compromised they can create a new one with minor plot approval. Because Velencians look different from humans, their civilian glamour can change their hair, eye, and skin color, as well as the shape of their pupils and ears to match humans. They will always be the same size and shape as their true form; this is just a cosmetic screen over their appearance to make them fit in on Earth. Tattoos can appear differently between forms; they can be programmed to exist or not exist. Hairstyles can change between civilian and powered form but should always have the same length. Unnatural hair and eye color are perfectly fine, and there is no need to say they use hair dye or wear contacts - your character is free to have been born with blue hair if you want. Genetic heterochromia is allowed, but please consider that this is still considered an oddity in our game environment; you are free to play with it but we encourage players to be considerate of this fact! If your character is intended to have different colored eyes due to injury, please make sure you have done adequate research and include relevant information when you post a quest, or PM the shop mule, The Space Cauldron, for help! Because civilian art isn’t required for play, this part of the form will be helpful in making sure others know how your character appears if you don’t yet have art for them.
Appearance: Please include the civilian glamour's eye color, hair color and style, skin tone, and general information on body type or face shape. You can use reference pictures or describe how your character's human glamour appears. You can use hex codes to give a more specific color reference if you prefer!
