History: Thorn was born into the same herd as Scarlet Wing but did not receive nearly the same reception. While Scarlet's wings were considered to be a good omen they saw Thorn's to be a bad sign. Trying to counteract the herds cold treatment of their daughter her parents spoiled her rotten. When she was old enough to move about on her own she proved to be what the herd had not wanted in the first place. One winter night Thorn was outside of the rock gate walking with her mother. Her mother slipped and collided with a wall sending a rain of icicles down from the ledge above. One pierced her leg and her mother bleed out on to the snow. Thorn did nothing but watch and her mother wasn't helped until late in the night.
After that she began collected things. Not just anything but the prettiest things, the brightest reds around drew her eye the most. She would gather anything that she liked into one spot and leave it to observe until it rotted away or died at which point she would dispose of it. The herd tried to ignore her odd behavior but couldn't overlook it any longer when Thorn turned her sights on Scarlet. For a while the Thorn was able to 'play' with the older filly. She ordered her around and reacted poorly when things didn't turn out right but left damage to tearing her apart with words alone. The first time she physically lashed out action was taken and she and her parents were banished.
Not long after she returned to the herd and snuck Scarlet out before pushing her into the river. After that she went off on her own without a word to anyone. For a while she stayed in the mountains on her own venturing down only to view the snow. Then she met Krad and things changed. She began to spend more time in the lowlands and eventually had children with him. Once her children had grown she didn't quite know how to spend her time and went off wandering. One night she was attacked by a kalona by the name of Xelloss and fled back to the mountains after the incident. A short month later she ran in to Dark and Scarlet. Still a little shaken from her encounter with Xelloss she was somewhat more willing to provide them with a little information.
Personality: Haughty and childish Thorn is spoiled to the core. She is completely selfish wants everything her way and doesn't care much about whom she hurts in the process. Having six children has not changed her much. She plays obvious favorites among them and still puts her needs over theirs.
