Huojin was trotting rather quickly to where his family wanted him to meet them. Apparently his new siblings had escaped their baskets, and it was now time for him and Shen to properly introduce themselves. He was glad they weren't in their pesky baskets anymore, since basket watching was seriously getting lame. He also didn't know of their genders or names, but he knew that soon he would make it to the clearing where his new family members resided. A part of him was nervous, while another part of him was surprisingly excited. "I hope Shen is coming too." he then said to himself, since he knew he'd need his brother's support for the most part. His deep blue eyes skimmed up ahead to notice a grouping of Soquili, and within moments he noticed his mother's and father's coloring amongst the figures. "Well, time to see what happened..." Jingfei was wobbling back and forth, since she was still getting used to the whole 'walking' thing. Her eyes were bright and open, and her ears were wiggling in delight. All of the sounds and colors were finally introduced to her now that she was out in the open, and the darkness of the basket was long gone and away. It was also nice to see what her siblings looked like, and especially what her parents looked like. She giggled as she wobbled around her parent's legs, and she then skittered over to where her siblings were also wobbling. "Its great to be out of the baskets!" Her siblings and her were all so brightly colored, and it was nice to see how similar they looked. She was also amazed by her parents, and she couldn't stop staring at them in delight!

(( Family pic XD So we don't have to post certs and stoof. )) Shen was nearly to the clearing where he had spent his childhood with his mother and brother. Their family had been expanded, and it was now time to meet his new siblings. He didn't know what gender they would be, or even what they looked like, or what their names were. He was excited to meet them. He knew Huojin was reluctant about having new siblings, but he knew that he really would be excited about seeing them. As he approached the clearing, he saw his brother coming from the opposite direction and smiled. She was standing by the edge of the clearing. She had sent word to her older sons that their younger siblings had finally come out of their baskets and she wanted the whole family to spend some time together. She looked around at her daughters and smiled broadly. They were so beautiful. Of course, Jirani was handsome as well, but she was so glad to have two daughters. She had been very watchful over them since they had come out of their baskets. She left Jirani to Raksh. Fathers and sons were supposed to spend more time together anyway, right? As Jingfei lingered around her legs, she bent down and nuzzled her gently before she ran off to join her siblings. She looked at Raksh with a content smile on her face.Raksh stood next to Ju, smiling around as his new children romped around the clearing playing with each other. He was so happy to finally be with his children from the moment of their birth. He had felt so bad about not being around when Shen and Huojin grew up, and he was glad that he could now be here for his children. He turned his eyes to Ju and returned her smile. He nuzzled up against her and nibbled lightly at her neck. "The boys should be here soon."The young colt looked down at his golden hooves and then around at the hooves of the rest of his family. Only his mother had the same colour as he did. He also looked around at the way they all looked so different. But he could see bits of each parent in each of his siblings, and in himself. It was interesting to see how different they all were, but to also see that they were indeed the same family. He looked over at his mother as she nuzzled up against one of her sisters and sighed. She had never shown him any kind of affection. It seemed that she only cared about her daughters. But his father was very kind towards him. He smiled as he trotted over to stand between his fathers front feet and look up at him. His father was a very impressive stallion, and he hoped that one day he would be as handsome as him.

Jia Li lay silently on the ground watching and listening. Everything was so bright and beautiful. It was much nicer then the dark of the basket. Her ear twitched at the sound of her sister's voice and she turned her head to face her with a smile. "It really is." She agreed cheerfully with a little flick of her tail. Inside the basket she had not really even known she had siblings. She had thought perhaps she had imagined them in that time before they were placed inside. The little filly was pleased to see that they were very real and that they all resembled one another in some small way or another.
She closed her eyes and took in a breath before pushing herself up on her still shaky legs. She smiled to her sister once again before trotting over to her beautiful mother's side. "Hello momma." She said softly rubbing against the mare's leg.

When Huojin saw his brother, he nodded in response and walked over and next to him while they were approaching the family. He was too preoccupied to really say anything, since at this point he was staring at the three little kiddos that wiggled around. When he and Shen were literally steps away, he looked at his parents expectantly and then looked down at the 'siblings'. Wow. They were all so unique, just like he and Shen were. He assumed his mother was expecting him to behave, so he thought hard before he spoke. Plus, there were children around now! He couldn't help at being a bit surprised, and his mouth hung open a bit expectantly. "So these are them." he then said, in a usual and overly loud voice. "I see we have some girls in the family now, but we also have another brother to stand nice and strong." He grinned at the colt that stood by his father, and nodded expectantly. "So, what're the names, if they have any yet? Hopefully you've named one after me? And oh," he then paused, and realized he hadn't introduced myself. "I'm you're older brother, Huojin. And this guy, well, I'll let him introduce himself too." And with that, he strode over to the hornless filly and snugged her on the top of the head. "She's got the next unique color, just like I did so long ago." At least he wasn't the only one anymore! "Wear it proudly, little one."
Jingfei only stared in shock when she noticed the two stallions that had also arrived. Before either of them spoke, she couldn't even guess at what they were. One of them looked just like her parents, but the other was sort of random looking. But then, at a closer look, she realized they both look pretty similar to everyone else. When the red one concluded her guess, she could only reply "Brothers!" Despite her excitement, her voice was contained and rather quiet. She was more interested in watching them at the moment, since her red brother was saying all sorts of things. Plus, she noticed he seemed to like the spotlight A LOT, and that was silly to watch!

Shen smiled as his brother approached him. "Nice to see you, Huojin. Its been a while." His voice was low and calm as it always was. Tough he was excited about meeting the new additions to his family, he didn't usually show his emotions on the outside. As they finally entered the clearing, he couldn't help but smile broadly. They were so adorable! He turned to his parents and nodded at them. "Nice to see you again, mother and father. I do hope you're well. And congratulations on these little ones." He smiled at the foal standing between his father's legs. "Seems you're the only boy. Hope you can deal with these women." He chuckled a bit, looking around at his sisters. He wondered what it would be like to have sisters. "My name is Shen, by the way. Its very nice to meet all of you."
Jirani stepped from between his father's legs and approached the stallion who had introduced himself as 'Shen'. "Hi, my name is Jirani." He looked Shen over and smiled. He looked so similar to him. And when he looked into his eyes, he immediately felt a connection to him. He knew that he would be able to trust Shen, no matter what happened. When Shen mentioned that he was the only boy, he sighed a bit. "Yeah, and it seems that she likes the girls better. She doesn't really pay any attention to me." He looked over at his mother and one of his sisters standing together and sighed before looking back at his older brother.
Ju bent down and nuzzled against her other daughter. "Hello, my lovely Jai Li. Your brothers should be here soon." As she heard the sound of approaching hooves, she looked up to see her two older sons coming into the clearing. She was silent while they spoke, but she couldn't help but roll her eyes as Huojin spoke louder than she thought was necessary. She remained silent as they introduced themselves. She moved closer to Raksh to just sit back and watch her younger children meet her older sons.
Raksh chose to remain silent as well. He returned the nod from both of his sons in greeting. His heart soared as he saw his family all together. He was to proud to be here with them all. He closed his eyes for a moment and thanked the gods for blessing him so much. He couldn't have asked for anything more than to be here with his family right now.

"Brothers?" She questioned tilting her head the the side curiously. She only knew one brother, Jirani, they had more? Her question was answered quickly as two new faces appeared. One bore a striking resemblance to her mother but the other was such a dark rich color she couldn't help but stare. He spoke and her ears flicked backwards, he spoke so loudly. Did her perhaps think they could not hear him?
"I am Jia Li." She said after all her brothers introduced themselves giving a small, polite bow of her head. She lifted her head and smiled around gently unsure of what else to say. She could tell that this was a special time and she did not want to ruin it by saying something that did not fit. as she thought over proper things to say she noticed the red brother moving towards her.
She blinked as he snugged her. "The next unique color?" She repeated giving him a little confused look before looking down at herself then to her siblings. She looked like them didn't she? She wanted to look like them.

Jingfei realized she hadn't introduced herself at all, and she decided to speak up when everyone permitted it. "And I'm Jingfei!" She liked the names she and her siblings were given, it gave them a bound-knit connection that she'd always keep in her heart. This next generation was full of J's, and each name marked them differently somehow. Her parents were truly clever in planning that! Though when Jingfei heard Jirani say something sad, she rushed over to him and tried to cheer him up. "It can't be that way, she loves us all the same! I know I do too." Jingfei didn't want there to be sadness in anybody's heart, and she felt worried for her brother as she watched him. "Plus now that two other brothers have arrived, that means you're not the only one you know? I am proud to know I have such strong brothers like you, Shen, and Huojin!"
She was always worried about her siblings emotions, and she tried hard to make everyone happy when she could.
Huojin blinked a bit at all of the J-names, and he grinned at Shen first before responding to his newer kin. "Wow, you and I are the oddballs with names I guess. But we're used to that by now." Even though he and his brother had random names, Huojin always believed that it fit him and his brother well. He wouldn't want to change his name for the world. "Did you decide to name them all, mother?" he then said, while looking at Ju with a grin. "They're all lovely choices." He was trying hard to work on his social conduct, and so far he was growing better in personality from some of the close friends who had helped him.
When Jia Li asked him a question, he only arched his neck so he was looking towards her properly. "Well see how I am very red? You have some beautiful yellows in you too! I thought it was a pretty and new color and a color like that is something to be proud of." All of the children had their own unique attributes, and Huojin investigated them all as he walked around the three of them. "I'm sure you are very proud as well, father." he then said, while holding a content smile. "I wouldn't be surprised if we had the prettiest family in the land!" Huojin had taken a liking to the family, and he was glad he prepared himself mentally before so that he could handle the situation better.
Deep inside he was a little jealous, but not enough to truly ruin the moment!

Shen smiled around at his whole family. "Well, it is very nice to meet you, new siblings, and very nice to see you again, mother and father." He looked down at Jirani and sighed lightly. "Ah, it seems we have much in common. I was treated the same way at your age. But don't worry about it. I know that she loves you. She just doesn't always know how to show it." He leaned down and nuzzled his younger brother lovingly. He decided right then and there that Jirani would never be alone. If there was anything he could do for his brother, he would be there. He didn't want him to have a painful life, so he would be there to protect him.
He looked up at his brother and felt a warm swelling of love towards him. He looked into his eyes and knew immediately that he would be able to turn to Shen if he ever needed him. "Thank you, older brother." He felt that was all that needed to be said. He turned to look around at the rest of the family. They were really quite a mix of personalities.
Ju looked at her children, and her eyes landed on Huojin. "We both chose their names. We do things together. They are both of our children, so we named them together." She sighed and lowered herself to the ground. Her legs were tired, and now that everybody was here, she thought it would be ok for her to relax. She looked up at Raksh, half hoping that he would join her, but she remained silent.
Raksh remained silent while his older sons introduced themselves to their younger siblings. He was glad that they could all be here together. When Ju lowered herself to the ground, he looked down at her and smiled, lowering himself to join her. They didn't need to go anywhere. They were all here, and they could enjoy their time together.

Her gaze drifted back down to her legs. She had never thought the color was that much different. Having it pointed out to her made her think that perhaps the difference in color was greater then she thought. "So, my color makes me different like you then?" She considered this for a moment before she gasped her ears shooting backwards. "Does that mean I will grow to be loud like you as well?"
She certainly did not want that. She enjoyed the beautiful sound of silence very much. It wouldn't be something she could enjoy if she grew to be a loud mouth. What exactly the relation between an odd color and the volume of a voice was she didn't know. Perhaps her brother was just completely strange not just from his coat. Somehow she truly hoped that was the case.

Jingfei noticed that her mother was tired, and in a manner of support she made her way over and snugged against her. She then remained standing as if she was keeping her mother warm. But, in a usual childish glee she decided to move over to her father and do the same thing. When she was satisfied with the love she had showed them, she instantly felt better. She was so proud of her parents that she was constantly showing them how much she adored them. Jingfei liked showing her siblings the same sort of love.
When she noticed her sister pondering what their older brother had said, she raced over and stood by her and Huojin. "Don't worry, Jia! You're color wouldn't effect the personality you have. I think you're color is very beautiful and you carry many of mother and father's hues of gold." She then looked at her parents, and realized her observation was correct. "Huojin is very confusing, isn't he!" She then grinned at her older brother and shook her head. Maybe he was misunderstood? But she could tell he was trying to socialize.
Huojin sighed when he realized he had probably exhausted his parents more. But he was glad to see they were resting. They really were a team just as his mother had said. And they were a team that worked well together. At least his parents had reached a level of trust that was real and true, and he was glad to know that they had become the best of comrades along the way. He hoped he'd have that someday.
His ears perked when he heard Jia Li questioning him, and he blinked as Jingfei was answering for him. Well, at least she had saved him from explaining himself further! "I'm sorry Jia for upsetting you in any way. I was only commenting that you're color was pretty." Huojin then sighed quietly before backing himself away from the giggling sisters. When he moved away, he realized he was standing by his brother Shen. "I'm not doing a very good job." he then admitted, and he shook his mane out in distress. "I thought family is supposed to be the one place you don't have to worry about acting or your personality?" Maybe everyone else had it wrong? "But I think it will keep getting better.." Well, hopefully it would!

She nuzzled against her daughter in return as she came by her side. She looked up at her with such love in her eyes. She was so proud of her new daughters. She wasn't sure if she would ever have daughters of her own. But now that she did, she was glad. She would cherish them their whole lives. They were very special to her, and she made it known.
Raksh also returned the nuzzle from Jingfei. Looking over to Ju, he noticed the loving look in her eye. It wasn't the first time he had noticed it. He could definitely tell the difference in the way she treated their daughters in comparison to the way she treated Jirani. He was a little worried about the way it might affect Jirani, but he seemed to be dealing with it. And Raksh did his part to make sure that he wasn't excluded completely.
Shen smiled at Huojin. "And what makes you say that? You're doing nothing wrong. And I don't think you need to worry about the way you act. Just...be yourself. You're with family. I'm sure everybody else will agree with me that we just want you to be you." He smiled at his brother before looking around at the new arrivals. "I'm glad this family continues to grow. I see good things in the future for all of us."
He looked around at his mother and also saw the look on her face as she was visited by one of his sisters. He sighed a bit, but then remembered what Shen had told him. He remained silent and moved closer to Shen, standing at his side.

She let of a sigh of relief at her sisters words. How wonderful, she wasn't doomed to be loud. She smiled at her sister and older brother for the compliments. So that was all he meant, that her color was pretty? He had an odd way of saying things like that it seemed. "He is a bit odd, Jingfei." She said quietly leaning over to her sister watching her brother walk off.
She felt a bit bad for reacting to him in such a way. He was paying her a compliment and she acted like an ungrateful brat. "Do you think I've upset him?" She watched all her brothers as she spoke. Part of her wanted to go over to them but she was not sure how that would turn out. If she had upset one perhaps the others would be upset with her as well. "I think that how I acted...was a big mistake." She muttered with a small sigh.

Jingfei followed her sisters eyes on their brothers, but only laughed in delight at the situation. "You did nothing wrong! Huojin is just being silly. Its important to always remember that boys react differently then us girls." she then nodded her head as if she knew everything on the subject. But, her ranting was all to make her sister feel better. "There is nothing to worry about, Jia! Both Shen and Huojin are just learning about us anyways, so it makes sense that they'd be surprised you know?"
Whereas... if Jingfei was to learn about more siblings, she'd probably jump with joy. Like she did when she saw Huojin and Shen in the first place! "And yeah, that's why boys will always act differently then girls. Since they see things differently." She then nodded confidently at her sister while watching the boys as well.
Huojin smiled at Shen's words. Shen had a way of always making him feel better. And in an instant, he definitely was feeling happy again. "The future does indeed look promising. I'm sure mother and father can see that too." Though on his brother's advice for Huojin to be himself, the older stallion knew that he'd have to hide his personality a bit. He didn't want to start trouble between the family. Since... that was totally something he -would- do.
He then looked at Jirani and smiled very graciously. "It seems as though Jirani has taking a liking to you, Shen. You two already have a great connection. Teach him well!" Hopefully he would have a connection with one of his siblings. But he didn't want to intrude on their lives too much! He then looked at his father, who was sitting comfortably with his mother. He could tell they were already teaching and training the kids about life. He was grateful, since he wanted his siblings to have an easier time then him and Shen did. "Shen and I are always around for baby sitting duty." he then said, while grinning at his parents. "I think you both will deserve a break once in awhile!"

Jirani smiled around at his older brothers, then looked at his sisters. It seemed that his brothers were busy speaking with each other, so he decided to join his sisters. Nuzzling against Shen's leg as he left, he trotted over to his sisters. "What are you two talking about?"
Shen smiled as Jirani left him and Huojin to join the other younger siblings. He then turned to Huojin. "Well, he told me that he thinks that mother ignores him. And I can see that happening. She did the same thing to me. I told him that, and I think that he feels closer to me, knowing that it happened to me as well. And I also want to look after him. I don't want him to be ignored by everybody. I want to be a part of his life, you know?" He smiled at Huojin before looking back at his new siblings.
She couldn't help but scoff at Huojin when he offered to babysit. She wouldn't trust him with her young children. Maybe she would let them watch Jirani, but not her little girls. "I don't trust you with the girls! You're far too irresponsible. You don't understand girls enough. They're different and require different things than boys do." She sighed and watched her daughters intently.
Raksh sighed a bit at Ju's reaction. He didn't like the way she treated Huojin, but there was really nothing he could do about it. He had tried to talk to her about it before, but it seemed there was no changing her. He tried to make eye contact with Huojin to try and show him that he was sorry for her behaviour. But really, there was nothing anybody could do. She just refused to change in some situations.

She felt rather relieved at her sister's words. He was not upset with her which was wonderful. It did confuse her a bit though, that boys reacted differently then girls. She had noticed that both her brother and her father acted differently towards certain things but she had never thought much on it. "That's...so strange." She said sounding both shocked and very interested. "Why is that do you think?" She asked hoping that her sister's wisdom on the subject would sink into her own mind.
She turned as her brother arrived and smiled at him. At his question she didn't falter in the slightest before giving her answer. "We were talking about boys." She said with a curt little bob of her head. She didn't think telling him the details mattered much. Vague answers were sometimes the best.
