As Raleka settled down and began picking out a fabric for her first plush, she began to feel a nervous. She'd worked with cutting shears for plants and thorny roses, but something about tiny sewing needles made her hands sweat ever so slightly. For now, she focused on choosing colors her two acquaintances might like - after all, it couldn't hurt to give gifts.
 As she began to cut the fabric, the hybrid noticed a basket of candies set precariously on the edge of the crafts table. She reached over and grabbed a bag, opening it and popping a candy into her mouth. She didn't have much of a sweet tooth, but Raleka didn't mind indulging every once in a while.
"You guys are welcome to have some," she said cheerily through a mouthful of chocolate, covering her mouth with a hand as to not be rude. She set the bag in between herself and her Fey companions.

Chessy smiled and unlooped her arm so she could wrap her arm around Delilah’s shoulders instead. “You’re a lot of fun, too! But you seem so shy. We need to fix that, ‘kay?” she said, winking playfully at Delilah. She was very aware of the girl’s shyness but found it to be endearing – and made it easy to tease her.
“Spiced cider, hmm? Can’t say I’ve tried it. Might have to now.” Reaching the food booth, she found a bunch of cups lined up neatly, with sections labeled what the contents of the cup were. She looked around curiously, trying to find some spiced cider for the grimm. Spotting it, she victoriously reached for it, saying, “Looks like you’re just in luck~ Found some right here.”

Estys frowned and scratched her head, getting a little embarrassed at the idea. She never had a boyfriend; it was just not something she would seek when she was younger, and now, while she had become somewhat more interested with the idea of getting a boyfriend, she was a little more skittish and shy when interacting with guys her age. She poked her fingers together. “N-no I don’t have a boyfriend,” she said, smiling weakly. “And maybe. You don’t know, you might find a girl you’ll like a lot more by the time you’re older.” Looking at the sealpup plush, the fey couldn’t help but find the freshling adorable, at the very least. “Yes, you should, Chau. And I’m sure there’s a bunch that are prettier and more fun than me.”

Laina moved along, hugging her newly acquired plush happily while looking for something to do. Moving over to another game booth, she observed how popular and crowded it was – joining the crowding, she watched the people playing it before she decided to give it a shot. It seemed like it was fun – a teacher was sitting in a seat suspended over water, and if the contestant was able to throw a ball and hit a small switch, the chair was give out and the teacher would get soaked. She couldn’t deny that the thought was comical and seemed like fun, so she stood in line for it. When it was finally her turn, she threw the ball, but unfortunately missed. Bummer.

((note: filler post so Phaedra can get bat pet. Koiasi is busy so nbd <3))
Phaedra reached out to pet the nezubat, which was now happily munching on the piece of chocolate she gave him. Directing her attention to the senior and watching Pandora with deep admiration, she couldn't help but imagine what she could soon learn from the senior. Maybe amazing things like learning multiple instruments, or more complex music... Her mind flashed to the more complicated piano pieces that she had been studying and slowly practicing. She was far from mastering it, but she greatly enjoyed it. Maybe soon she'd be able to play it all by herself, with ease. She jittered with anticipation; the idea was definitely appealing to her.

Zephyr, having momentarily forgotten about the coatl, directed their attention towards another booth. The attendant for it was no other than the librarian! Intrigued, Zephyr moved over to it to see what was there. Maybe a fun game? As they reached it however, they noticed that it wasn’t a game…but the librarian trying to entice students to read. The bakaneko smiled at her before picking up a strange book. Prisoner of the Rani… What interested the neko the most was the cover; two nightmares – they were unsure of which race they were, because they were still new to this world, in a sense – were gazing at each other. The darker one seemed to holding the pink one. Romance, maybe? Zephyr tucked the book in their backpack.

The hybrid leaned down, extending the plushie towards her feline companion. He happily accepted it, carrying the plushie in his mouth like a mother vespercat might do to her young. Straightening up, she saw the vendor look at her with crossed arms. ‘Bet you can’t do that again’ he seemed to say; eager to accept the challenge, she grabbed the balls and aimed carefully before chucking them skillfully. Once more, the bottles collapsed, and the senior victoriously grabbed her prize – another vespercat plush. She couldn’t help herself…They were cute. Phiffion felt Arkham rub against her leg happily and emit a low purring rumble, just as happy as Phiffion was.

Eli stared intently at the naganeko, as if analyzing his words to see if he was lying; which, he couldn’t be – he was crying a waterfall – but that didn’t stop Eli from doubting the truthfulness in the freshling’s words. Crossing his arms, he made a soft harrumph. “Your tail? Well, where are your legs—“ he paused mid sentence and slowly covered his mouth with a hand; his features turned to a more surprised expression as he jumped to the only conclusion that made sense to him: he must have lost his legs! How insensitive of him to not realize sooner!
He wanted to mentally scream at himself; berate himself for being so oblivious! “S-sorry I didn’t realize that you had… l-lost... you know” he muttered, slowly relaxing his surprised expression into a more sympathetic look. But as he threw out the foreign word, he tilted his head. “Naga…neko…? What…?” he asked. He didn’t seem to be able to comprehend that this freshling was different from himself or any others previously known. Bringing his hand to his head, he desperately felt for a bump, completely passing over his horns. “I don’t think I bumped my head but… Where is it…?” he asked nervously, unable to find his apparent injury.

 "Tr...true. And I a...am having fun." She tucked the plush she'd picked up into her bag, not noticing as a little purple coatl slid in at the same time. "You're a...a lot of f...fun." She honestly was surprised the other girl was enjoying HER company, Delilah wasn't used to people who put up with her nervousness or stuttering all that often. Being shy really wasn't something she enjoyed, but she couldn't seem to figure out a way past it.

 "Thanks," Morginn said, reaching over and selecting a candy. He had a bit of a sweet tooth sometimes, and always kept something sugary in his dorm room for just in case. He was sorting through the piles of fabric carefully, sorting some pieces into a neat stack and discarding others. He was guessing on the colors and hoped both girls liked what he picked out, but he was also just trying to have fun with it and express a bit of his own personality. Once he had what he wanted, he sat back for a second to stretch before he started the plushies. He had pretty good timing. Right at that moment someone carrying a bundle of roses (a different someone, thankfully) was walking by. Morginn quickly claimed one with a charming smile for the person carrying the bundle, then turned towards Renge. "I believe I promised you a rose as well," he said, wiggling his eyebrows playfully.  The lunar fey bowed his head appreciatively. "You are most welcome. I'm happy to hear that." He smiled at the kiss to his cheek. The perched fluffbug made another attempt at the roses, so Fig adjusted the bag on his arm so that he could shift the little blue bugaboo to be held. There, perhaps active lovin' would calm it down. With the fluffbug tucked against his chest, Fig stroked its fuzzy head and thorax between its wings, soothing it with soft words. "Hey, now, enough of that. I've got plenty of plants in my dorm that you can tend to. It's okay. If you behave, I'll get some flowers for you as well," He finished with a bit of a chuckle and a shrug of his shoulders. "I guess so. It seems I've been selected as such. I'm okay with it though. Having a fluffbug of my own will help me feel a little closer to home. My folks always kept a fluffbug or two around the house, so it'll be a like a little piece of home." The bug droned softly in his hand. Well, he'd have to think on a name for the bugaboo. It wouldn't do at all, having a nameless pet. An attention grabbing yowl came from his feet as a blue and white vespercat weaved between his feet, rubbing against his legs. "Oh, are you needing attention too?" The fey said with a wholly amused laugh. Dipping into a squat, he scratched and petted the vespercat. "Couldn't stand to see someone else getting affection without you getting some as well?" The cat sniffed at the bug in his arm, who in kind waggled its antennae around the cat, checking each other out. Without any other prompting, the cat fluttered up to perch on one of Fig's shoulders, looking nonchalant about the whole deal. Fig stood up, scratching under the cat's chin. "Well, I guess I'm suddenly a pet parent twice over. Perhaps we should see what there is to see around, before another creature selects me as theirs?" The fey chuckled, partially because the vespercat was making itself at home by draping across his shoulders. "I'll wear the scarf at least. It'll be all the nicer for when it comes time to leave if it is pre-warmed from wear. The sweater can stay in the bag until I get back home. I'm dressed enough as is. Is there any booth or attraction you'd like to look at in particular?"Perle noticed a scampering coming from under the table they were standing next to. Crouching down to peer underneath, a curious jackalope peered back at them. Gasping softly, the young dryad giggled, extending a hand to the jackalope to let it sniff their extended fingers. "Hello, there. Wanna be my friend?" The familiar hopped out a little further, close enough to touch. Gently reaching out, she stroked the jackalope between its antlers. "You're so soft!" Tentatively drawing the familiar into her arms, she smiled when it let her. "Hopefully Mom will let me keep you."

.  Back at the party once again Even was now more or less alone save for the little stray vespercat that was tagging along. On her way back toward the books she found a small curio that was giving out some free rings. Smiling she picked one up and slid it on her finger. It was a perfect fit so she decided to keep it. The vespercat demanded attention so she reached down to pet it and play with it a bit. After all she had time to head back to the books. She felt a bit less out of place having already wandered around a bit here already. .

 Kroll couldn’t seem to find where those cute little stones were at but she did notice something worthwhile. A vespercat. One that looked just like a plush she had was hiding under a table grooming itself. Squatting down she held out a hand and tried to coax the cat out. It took several minutes to convince the cat that she was worthwhile but eventually the little cutie came out and she started to lavish it with attention and adoration. It had a little motor engine of a purr that started as soon as she picked it up. Smiling she knew she was going to keep this little angel.  Allumin shuffled his plushies in his arms as he looked down at the trio. "Allright. So..I'll give the blue one to the first person who proves to be loyal. And the purple one I can gift to my first friend that makes me smile and the red..I..I could keep this one for the first friend who turns out to be more than a friend." Allumin stumbled over his thoughts as he looked between them. Something bumped into his tail then, and Allumin turned to blink at the purple jackalope staring up at him. Allumin's eyes widened and he felt his heart beat a little faster at the adorable looking familiar. "Where did you come from?" He asked in a soft whisper. Allumin looked to the left and the right. It didn't seem like anyone was looking for a possibly missing or run away familiar. The jackalope set it's eyes on the plushies in Allumin's arms, and much to his surprise, the creature lunged up and scrambled into his arms over the plushies. "OH! OH AH!" Allumin shouted as the familiar made itself comfortable on the plushies. "Ah..I...g-guess...you can just make yourself comfortable huh?" He stammered in surprise.
