Sheffield was already within sight of the festivities when his phone buzzed in his back pocket. The hybrid's eyes widened slightly at the unexpected sensation. He rarely got texts and almost nobody called him, so he had a decent guess as to who this might be before he'd even looked.
Text Message from Sheffield
I'm here and I see you. Hold still.
He passed the souvenir table on the way down the short hill he'd been spying from, glancing at the books and trying to put them out of mind again as soon as he saw them. Shef hoped these weren't the books she meant. He didn't know which was worse: that she thought he might want one of them or that he'd already read them all.
He stopped just behind her, tapping her lightly on the shoulder.
"Having fun so far, even though the books are bad?"
Ayuu hadn't quite known what to make of Bo's invitation to the Hunter's Jubilee. Ze'd been excited, of course, and entirely too nervous, but in spite of all of that, ze'd said yes immediately. Who else would ze go with?
Even though they had only been here for ten minutes, this was already turning out to be the best impulsive act the grimm had ever given in to. Bo was holding zir hand and smiling his crooked smile every time he glanced zir way. The sight made Ayuu brave.
The geist was warm and fuzzy inside, his intentions perfectly clear to himself if to no one else. He reclaimed his hand from Ayuu's for a moment, taking a buggy little beanbag from the souvenir table and handing it to zem.
Wren walked along still looking for someone to play with him, he stopped and grabbed some candy. Smiling cheerfully, he was a happy little fellow and knew he would find a friend when the time was right.
Caramel looked at the Nixie trying to get a book off a high shelf, he went up to her. Giving her gave kind smile, "Do you need help miss??" he fluttered his wings to help make his point, not to mention Caramel was fairly tall for a fey, so he didn't have issues getting things off shelves and if they were ever out of his reach. Carm was good at fly and had no fears of heights.

Cimara walked along the festival grounds with his little stone, Natsumi is a bag on his shoulder. He hadn't let the little one out of his site since he imbued the stone. Cimara heard his name called and turned to see who it was. Cimara nodded "Clearly you already recall I am Cimara, I believe we've met in passing in the teacher functions, nice to meet you formally Aqua,glow." Then he opened his bag to reveal his new stone, Cim smiled at it's lovely orange and red stone, the colors mixing to what Cimara read to be called a sunset. "This is my little one Natsumi, I went to a singles stone imbuing, this little one has already brightened my life so much.. though I am rather nervous about teaching this little one all they need to know once that awaken.. Do you know anything of infants??"

Aiday looked at the other dryad, a little relieved to see another of her race in the bellow. Then Aiday heard her question and she said softly "I'm scared, this is my first time in the bellow and I've been hiding under my bed with my roommate for a while.. but but.. I was curious and then there were so many nightmares.." Aiday's eyes were wide with her fear of this new world, she didn't understand why she had to come here. Was she a bad girl?? Aiday nearly had tears in her eyes, she didn't feel ok, it was winter and there was no sun down here. "Umm..thank you.." she said softly accepting the candy. "I'm Aiday..umm I was to afraid to try the games or I'd give you a present too" She said shyly..

Chau looked curiously at the pretty senior in the booth next to the one he was at, he saw her win the plushie and he looked at the game where he could win a familiar he had his eye one the purple bat one. Chau laughed it kinda looked like the plushie she had claimed for herself. Chau went over to the senior and said "Miss could you help me with this game please?? I'm trying to figure out how to knock those bottles down, so I can win." He said in a cheerful sweet tone.
Ivy weaved her way around the game stands, just watching people. That was really the high point of events like this. Watching others. She ducked between to stalls and cut across a lane before taking a moment to look up and down the aisle before merging back into the foot traffic.
She paused for a moment though, as she caught sight of a familiar green haired demon. She hadn't seen her friend in while due to some issues with her family, but it would be nice to spend time with him again. She trotted over and gently tapped his shoulder and just waited for him to notice her appearance.
Ganymede was... not entirely sure if he wanted to be at an event that celebrated relationships, despite actually being IN one... But here he was. Wandering around the party. In a continued display of being a terrible friend and boyfriend, he hadn't actually asked Anchriesel if he wanted to come and he hadn't told any of his friends that he was going to be there. He had... reasons for that, but they weren't ones he was exactly eager to think on too deeply.
He wandered around the party, mostly just observing everyone else for now. A passerby held out a hand and when he held his own hand out in return, they dropped a little stone into his hand. He looked it over, but they were gone before he could thank them. Huh... It was pretty, though. He pocketed the stone, and then returned to looking around when a familiar shade of red caught his eye.

Korvau was SO EXCITED to go to the Hunter's Jubilee party! He'd asked pretty much all of his friends if they wanted to go, but mostly he was hoping Nex would come with him. Nex was so nice to hang out with! They had so much fun together. Surprisingly, he'd arrived to the party earlier than his taller friend and wasn't really sure what to do about that!
One of the teachers who was chaperoning the event passed him a plushie and patted his head as they walked by. Oh boy! He hugged it to himself and bounced in place, waiting for Nex to show his head before he started playing any of the games.

Oh boy... Jericho had come to the school in the midst of the Solstice celebrations, but he had been too nervous to actually participate in them. Since then, almost two months had gone by, so he felt a little more at home here. It did help that he'd made friends, Kindle and Fakir were both very supportive in their own ways...
He hadn't really asked if either of them would be going, but he kind of hoped so. The small goblin wandered around the party, for now just seeing what they had to offer.

Odessa yawned sleepily when she noticed Kara waiting for her near the entrance. She walked toward the other junior, and smiled. "Hey Kara!" The two of them started walking the grounds together, talking quietly among themselves when Odessa heard her name being called. Her head tilted to one side when she saw the familiar Baphomet. Instantly, her cheeks began to flush, "Lazarus!" She nibbled her lower lip, feeling her cheeks grow even warmer when he handed her the rose. "I umm... it's beautiful. Thank you!" She gripped the rose, pulling it closer to herself, of course, she noticed that her hand lightly brushed his when she took the gift. "Lazarus, this is my best friend, Kara. Kara, this is Lazarus."
Delilah decided to make another turn through the festival, as she realized she hadn't really looked at a bunch of the booths. She was just so overwhelmed in this immense crowd! As she moved through the crowds, a table with pretty bracelets caught her eye. She walked over to it, and managed to procure a pretty deep raspberry colored one.
As she stepped away, however, she accidentally knocked into a purple toned Imp Girl, and started to fall.

Kara smiled at Odessa, presenting her with a plushie when she got there. She saw the geist smile and take the plushie, cuddling it. Kara wasn't sure how the other girl always stayed so positive, even with all the pressure she knew she was facing. As the girls walked further from the entrance, they were stopped by a boy. Kara couldn't help but blink, looking him over as he presented Odessa with the rose. "Hi, it's nice to meet you!" She said after the introduction, offering her hand for a shake. So this was the boy that Odessa had been going on about? Kara couldn't help but smirk a little, even if she didn't understand relationships or the need to have them, she couldn't help but feel a little surge of happiness for her friend. She did hope things worked out.

Jubilee! That meant a lot of candy, right? Sae always got candy from the orphanage workers when she was there this time of year. That was mostly why she'd decided to come check the party out. Of course, she was still little nervous about being around so many people. She made her way through the crowds, head down for the most part so it'd be harder to see her face.
As she walked by a candy booth, one of the bags fell onto the ground. She picked it up, and then looked up to tell the person running it that it had fallen, but they insisted she keep it for being honest. She wasn't really sure what that was supposed to mean, but hey, it got her free candy. She turned to look around the party -- maybe one of her friends or siblings would be here...
Phiffion moved towards the side, hoisting herself upwards so she could sit on top of a low wall. Watching the merriment, the senior harrumphed under her breath. “Why’d we come here? Not like there’s anything interesting.” she muttered to her feline companion. In response, he purred gently, sticking his head out of the backpack to get a look around. She sighed and extended an arm to rub his head affectionately. “At least I have you to keep me company.” The senior stared at the crowd, her mind drifting off as she watched the crowd – until she felt something rub against her back. Jumping off the wall in surprise, she spun around to spy another feline. Her eyes lit up and she extended her hand towards it – the critter rubbed his ears against her hand affectionately and purred. “Hey there little man,” she mumbled.
Chessy became distracted by a table filled with a multitude of jewelry and trinkets. Approaching it excitedly, she ran her claws over the surface of several of the trinkets, admiring how smooth and polished they were. She could see her own reflection in it! Her eyes settled on a small pink ring – tilting her head curiously, she grabbed it and slipped it on, holding her hand up to the light to appreciate how it sparkled and shimmered. Just as she did so, however, she noticed a grimm heading straight towards her and before she could make the femme aware that she was too close – smash! She was bumped into by the grimm. A little disoriented, she caught the elbow of the other before she fell over. “H-hey there, you alright?” she said, holding onto her head where she was bumped with her free hand.
Eli, still holding onto the two plushies, looked around eagerly; while he was enjoying his new plush, it was difficult to hold both. Maybe he should go back to his room to deposit it and then come back… As he started to head towards the exit, his eyes lit up – a wisp! The gas creature circled him curiously – shoving the plush in his other arm so he could free his hand, he extended his arm outwards, palm up. The light globe touched his palm. “Wanna come home with me?” he whispered to it. While it probably didn’t under his words, it obviously enjoyed the life force and floated close to him, fine with being his new pet.
Laina sat on the side, slowly nibbling on her chocolates one by one. The grimm sighed, starting to feel sad. She couldn’t help but let her bout of depression control her; everyone was having so much fun, yet she was too shy to join in on the fun. If only someone would approach her…! She glanced down at the box; she was eating it too fast – she was already half way through it. She closed the box and tucked it in her small knapsack and pursed her lips together. Maybe she should approach someone, but how would she do that? She didn’t consider herself to be outgoing.
Estys, with her newly acquired rose tucked neatly in her bag, glanced around, spying a booth that hosted plenty of plushes. Nestled amongst them were a variety of flutterbugs: red, blue, purple, and a white one with hearts. She couldn’t help but let out a small squeal when she saw them – with her inner kid coming out, she giddily flittered over and scooped a purple one up in her arms. It reminded her of her flutterbug pets back home. Cradling her new plush, she smiled contently; her small burst of excitement had caught the attention of several nearby students, who each gave her a curious look.
The freshling, still lingering at the plushie booth, gazed at the stuffed nezubats. There were several different kinds - she couldn’t just have one! They were too cute and… she just couldn’t help it. Reaching over, she grabbed another one and offered it to the pet resting on her shoulder. Her small bat pet screeched happily, wrapping one of its feet around it firmly. “A friend for you,” Phaedra said matter-of-factly before turning away from the booth. Feeling a lot more confident than when she initially arrived, she marched away from the booth victoriously to the beat of the song playing through her earbuds.
