Hearing a cheerful toned voice address her, Estys redirected her attention downwards, noticing a small freshling requesting her help in a game. Oh, and he was so cute too – Estys wanted to pinch his cheeks or something to the effect – though she withheld the urge, since she was sure he wouldn’t be appreciative of her if she did that. Smiling brightly, she chirped, “Of course I can help you!” Fluttering over to the booth, she examined the game and nodded, getting the gist of it. “Simple enough, too.” Holding the ball, she closed an eye and aimed cautiously before chucking the ball, cheering when she knocked the bottles down. “There we go! Which prize did you want, sweetie?” she said, smiling warmly at the freshling.

Approaching a small booth, the grimm noticed a multitude of shimmering trinkets – neckless, rings, bracelets… They were all so bright and colorful! Cocking her head to the side, Laina became enamored with a necklace: on a small silver chain, a pink heart pendant hung from it and was bordered with silver. She carefully picked it up, rolling it delicately in her fingers. It seemed to be so plain but….its simplicity drew her in. Smiling, she thanked the vendor for allowing her to take it and scooted away, finding a place to retreat to. Now all she’d have to do was put it on – which would be a chore on its own.
Phaedra tilted her head as her ears picked up the sound of music – something not coming from her earbuds, at that. She recalled being told that her big sister candidate was going to play some form of music and to be waiting for it…. So was this her potential big sister? Slowly removing the earbud, she toddled over to the source of the music, halting when she came across the senior, and observing her with full attention. Though she was generally more the type to keep to herself, her curiosity was piqued - as the music came to the end, the freshling commented with a soft voice, “That was a nice song...”
'Lilah blushed red, at both the contact and her foolishness for not being more careful. "I... I... I'm fine. I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bang into you, pardon me so very much!" She bit her lip, and stared down at her feet, her cheeks darkening from the way she blushed with embarrassment under her dark skin tone. The shy girl felt quite the fool for this, and didn't know what to do. "Are you ok? I mean I banged you pretty hard..." Her foot scuffed the ground a little.

Ivy had gotten distracted looking at the stalls and watching peoples excitement or disappointment as the case may be so she almost didn't hear Dante's question.
She looked over at the Demon and then considered. She'd had a snack before venturing out of her dorm room, but she was definitely feeling that another wouldn't hurt. She smiled and nodded to him and let him lead the way to either one of the food stalls or maybe somewhere else depending on what he wanted to do.
Truthfully, Burvia could have probably made this herself if she really wanted to. And could invest in the proper embroidering gear. But the pale Geist was just too tempted to give it to her Jo-Jo, and so, she picked it up and scooped it away to give to Joseth at a later date.

Meliae tilted her head toward the other dryad, not entirely sure what to say. She couldn't help but think that this was probably a bad place for the girl to be if she was that afraid. "No worries." She said gently, trying to reassure her. "You don't need to get me anything!" She glanced around at the crowd. "It really isn't that bad, and you shouldn't be afraid. If you'd prefer... I can show you back to the dorms, or stay with you if you really want to see the festival?"

Odessa smiled and held on to the rose, nudging Kara gently. "I'm fine with you hanging out with us!" This day had definitely got more interesting. "That is of course, if Kara is?" She tilted her head to look at the demon, an almost pleading sound in her voice.

Kara couldn't help but feel a little like a third wheel, but she knew she didn't want to screw this up for Odessa. "Yeah, I'm fine with it." She smiled gently, noting the snake that had taken a sudden interest in the Baphomet and hoped there wouldn't be a problem with her own new familiar. "It shouldn't be a problem, as long as the two familiars keep their space." She hoped, anyway, though right as she said that she swore she could feel something moving along her foot. She bent down to spot a flitterat and couldn't help but smirk a little. "Make that the three of them..."
The group came upon a stand that was meant for freshlings while their caretakers watched, Candy letting her kids go play while she watched from the side. However, she was surprised to find out that part of this game was that the caretaker or parent also got something, being handed a box of chocolates. They looked so good! This was going to be saved for later so she could share it with the kids. That changed however when She began to see how much Crystallize was trying to win a prize and failing, deciding to let him have some chocolate right now instead.

So this was a simple game. Walk in a circle on the special shapes with numbers during a song. When the music stopped, you stopped and then a number would be drawn from the bucket. The freshling on the number got a prize. Sure enough, while her brothers and her were playing her name was called, receiving some sweets of her own. However, when she realized how much trouble Crystallize was having with the game, she offered up her brownies to him. Her little brother shouldn't go without sweets while the rest of them got one, it wouldn't be fair!

Crystallize wasn't having much luck with this game, never being called at all. It was so bad, that he remained in the game for the longest amount of time out of anyone who had joined recently and still didn't win anything. Larimar and Phyre had won prizes, but he hadn't! After what seemed to be forever, his mother said they should try a different game, only causing Crystallize to try and keep from tearing up. Why hadn't he been able to win a prize? He never got on the number that was called, and he had been playing for over 60 number calls! It was a good thing his whole family was trying to give him parts of their sweets, causing him to smile instead. He loved them all so much, and he knew they loved him back.

Unlike Crystallize, Larimar had managed to win some candy withing 5 numbers being called, which only caused the little brother to become sad for his big brother. Once Candy had told Crystallize that they needed to try a different game, Larimar went over to his brother and offered to share his candy with him. He couldn't let his brother be all sad for this terrible game not letting him win anything. He loved his big brother too much to let him remain sad!
Aiday did her best to smile "Your sure it's safe??" she asked softly "I don't want to be a bother, but I was curious about the festival, I'd like to see the games and such.." Aiday said in her normal soft tone. Aiday pointed to a game of pick the heart from the dish and make a wish. "Will you come play this game with me??" Aiday asked nicely. The game was simple, all that needed to be done was picking a heart from a dish to see if there was a small mark that indicated a winner.

Wren smiled brightly and said "I just won this plushie, in the strength game." He grinned "I'm Wren what's your name??" Wren asked curiously "Do you want to come find other games with me??" Wren held out his little white bug plushie with the little hearts on it's wings. He was so glad someone had decided to come talk to him so he wouldn't be all alone.
Cybelle smiled softly at the request to trade treats "I'd like that please." He said grabbing a piece of brownie out of his bag to trade with the nixie. "I'm Cybelle and you are??" he asked curiously. Cybelle didn't have any problem with other races, though his parents would much rather he be more picky. Then again they wanted him to be a lot of things he was not.
He gave a nod to both answers, making sure to keep a close eye on his Coatl so it didn't end up doing anything to Kara's familiars ", Sounds good to me. Did you two have any sort of plans for what you wanted to do here? I think it would be kind of fun to play some of the games," right after he said that, one of the teachers handed him a bracelet and walked off. It was a simple one, but he liked it enough to put it on.

Searching for another librarian, hu came across another and rushed over to them to ask for a book that they recommended. To hus surprise hu was handed a copy of... did it say Feubio? Hu couldn't really tell, and it didn't seem to be hus type of book. Oh well, maybe it was good?

Coming across another game, Somansh looked over the dart game and decided to give it a shot. As it turned out, she wasn't too bad at this game, winning herself a rhodochrosite that she could add to her new stone collection.

Jacintha stayed at the same game booth as before, knowing that she could easily get more candy if she just kept playing. Sure enough, she succeeded again and won a bag of jawbreakers. Yumm! However, this game was now becoming boring, and she wanted somewhere else to go and win candy.

Keeping his new familiars warm still, the little fallen tried to find some food for them now. It wouldn't be good if he kept his familiars hungry after taking them in right? So far though he couldn't find anything he thought a wisp and a Coatl could eat... what did they eat?! Hopefully not each other or his other familiars back at his room!

Maybe it was about time they left to get this special someone? Ziron wasn't sure. It was the first time they had ever done something like this, and now they were beginning to get nervous. Would they be a good first time parent? They always thought that they would be, but Ziron's mind began to think ahead to the future of misfortune. Hopefully they would be able to handle this alright.

After making sure that this would be a safe food for her new friend, Coralie began to eat along side her new coatl, only to find herself being present a special box of chocolates for buying food from this particular stand. Seems she had picked the right food stand, and the food was even pretty good! Not as good as back home though. Nothing could compare to that.

I'm just starting to get used to life here, and I wouldn't want to introduce a little one into the world when I'm not even ready in this new environment. That and I am still getting used to the low numbers in my classes. I am a bit surprised that not many nightmares or daydreams care to learn about swimming."
Familiars? Where had that come from? As Aqua'glow looked around, she noticed a stand selling familiars. Oh! So that was why he was asking ", It would depend on the familiar, but I am sure that something like a Flitterat or a Wisp would be safe enough around a child. I don't know much about Fluffbugs, but they seem safe as well. Actually, the only one that worries me is the Coatls, since they tend to be a little too affectionate at times from what I see."
While she was talking, one of her students handed her a ring, the nixie smiling at the freshling and thanking them kindly for the gift before the child smiled joyfully and ran off. She sure did enjoy seeing the children she taught be happy. Aqua'glow honestly would love to have a child of her own, but there was just so much holding her back right now. For the most part it was her just wanting to get more used to the academy, but there was also the fact that she wanted her child to be with a partner, not just alone or with some random person she felt no connection to.
Caramel smiled at the nixie, she was rather pretty. He flew up and grabbed the book, not intending to pick on her for wanting to read a romance novel. "So do you need any other help??" Carm smiled as he handed her the book and accepted the pink stone, that reminded him of the nixie. "I'm Caramel." he said nicely hoping he could figure out how to keep this going or at least learn her name.
Chau smiled brightly "Thank you" he picked out what he wanted with a grin. "I'm Chau what's your name?? Do you want to play with me?? We could go do more games, do you like art??" Chau was so excited to talk to someone outside his little family.
