Hunter's Jubilee is a time to celebrate love and connections. Whether it be platonic or romantic, all relationships are celebrated during this affectionate time. This year's Jubilee is unusually cold, so the celebrations have been brought indoors! The Academy faculty have set up all sorts of games to play and events to go to.
University students and graduated adults are invited to attend!
How to play:
Every day you are allowed to roll for each of your Nightmares/Daydreams to receive a prize! You also can end up with a familiar, if you're lucky. However, you must RP your character receiving their prize, or doing something in the festival when you roll. It's suggested that while you can roll for every Nightmare you have, you only roll for the amount of responses you can handle! You can keep rolls in one post, or in individual posts. Roll a 20-sided die per Nightmare you're including in the ORP! If you roll an even number, you may grab a trinket! If you roll a number ending in 3, 6, or 9 you may grab a plushie instead. If you roll a number ending in 5 (or roll a 20) you may grab a familiar instead! (Rolling an odd number that is not listed here results in no trinkets, plushies, or familiars.) Every week there will be one grand prize. We will post when each round is open. Each round lasts 7 days. When you roll each day you may select three of the numbers you rolled as the points you've earned that day. At the end of the week the person with the most points will win the grand prize! A customer may win only one grand prize in this ORP. You must label in your posts how many points you have. If you don't you will not be counted for the grand prize. Do not delete posts. We will disqualify you from the chance to win the Nightmares/Daydreams if you do! You may RP quests! If you lack a Nightmare/Daydream you are allowed to RP an approved quest within this game! If you have more then one quest, you are permitted three quests to play in this game. You are encouraged to create creative situations of your character receiving a prize! Characters may trade prizes without losing points! Only take one prize per each roll! As in, if you won a plushie or familiar, you are not permitted to take a trinket!
Trinkets:
Someone let Ava be in charge of ordering supplies again... She's ordered way too many candies. There's jawbreakers, raspberry flavored chocolate, milk chocolate, sweethearts, and even some brownies with sprinkles!
Ava even ordered some pretty rocks? Looks like she got amethyst, fluorite, rhodonite, rhodochrosite, sugilite, and tourmaline!
The librarians are at it again, they've brought out some nicely themed books to pass out to everyone.
Ava, this is far too many bracelets. Well, make it a goal to collect 'em all?
These necklaces can be found almost everywhere! It seems Ava both ordered too many, and just loved these necklaces so much she wanted everyone to get one.

These flowers were charmed to never wilt (unless you remove the charm!). Give someone special some real flowers to show you care.
Now who doesn't want chocolate? These chocolates come in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate!

Plushies:
It seems Ava ordered nezubat plushies that look especially lifelike...
A local plushie maker released a new line of flitterat plushies! Naturally, Ava ordered too many.
Naturally, she also had to order the new line of jackalope plushies.
Worry not, these vespercat plushies are not stained.
Finally the Fey have brought over their line of fluffbug plushies! Ava, of course, snatched them all up.
Just look at this late order of Fennekit plushies! Well, at least they're cute!

Familiars:

Coatls are fairly affectionate and sweet, but clever. They've figured out that they can rub up against passerby's and get pets and even treats!

Liath see the big appeal of the hunters Jubilee festival, he was too young to care about love. He was too far away from his family for any of it to really matter to him. He had been drawn here by other freshlings speaking of getting free things. However when he got there the area was so crowded the small goblin found himself very uncomfortable. It would seem that there was nothing for him today,since he had no real urge fo fight through the crowd to get anything. Even if he wanted to he was probably too small and would be easily pushed around by the bigger people. He turned to his care taker to signal that he wanted to leave, perhaps tomorrow it wouldn't be so crowded.
Wren was so excite to go to the jubilee hopeful he might make a friend or two during the festival. He was just about jumping out of his fur as he went along. To excited to concentrate on playing a game and actually winning. Instead, he just walked along looking for beings to meet and play with.
Caramel walked into the jubilee, smiling he hadn't gotten out much since he had come to the bellow, so he figured it was about time he got out and met others. He picked up a plastic arrow from a booth table and twirled in his hand as he hummed. Thinking of all the treats and fun he could have here.
Camrine hummed to herself as she walked along hoping to find Fig again at this festival. She smiled brightly, with a bag on her arm. She had finished the gifts she had made for him and hoped to be able to give them to him if she could find him.
Cybelle stretched his arms over his head and he snuck around the festival, he wanted to know what was going on, but he didn't want a lot of attention. He was kinda weird in that way, Cy didn't like drama or the spotlight, unlike many in his family.
Aiday snuck about the festival terrified, she had no idea why she left her room, it was chilly out here and there were a bunch of people. Gah what had she been thinking?? She hide under a booth peeking out.
Chau grinned as he walked along looking for things to do.

Aren was so sure that he should not go to this festival thing. As if his social anxiety wasn't bad enough by just thinking of going, but actually going!?! That was crazy and honestly scared him to death. He decided though that if he spent one more day hiding away in his room like a hermit he might actually shrivel up and turn to dust. Though it wasn't likely he had this running senario in his head that he would mess up a magic spell and turn himself into a book and no one would notice that he was even gone. Standing there off to the side he liked the thought of no one noticing him. It was easy enough for him to blend into the crowd, no one recognized him, no one really cared. He stood back away from all the hustle and bustle and watched as others got prizes.
Daihmin loved love, so what was better than a celebration of just that? NOTHING! She loved how many people came out and wanted to personally give all of them a hug, she was floating on joy. Not that that was any different than normal Dai. She saw a game where if you won you could get candy and she was all over it, Dai loved sweets almost as much as she loved love, so when she saw heart shaped candies she squeed out loud. "I can't even!" she took her prize in her hand holding it like it was a fragile egg. She looked around for someone to share her joy in, but currently she didn't see anyone she recognized.

What a dull thing, festivals were quite silly. They had no real purpose or function, they weren't getting anything done. Nothing was achieved and if anything it took away from time he should be practicing his magic. so why then had Seray come one might ask. He had come to study the interactions between nightmares and daydreams in such a social setting. It was not of course for prizes or games. He watched how people were reacting to one another, how they felt when they one or lost. How their moods changed at the sight of one another. Some where happy to see one another some seemed to want to hide. All of this was interesting to Seray and he held a little piece of paper jotting down notes.
What an event, Altair was enjoying himself quite a lot. He had known of course that he would enjoy himself. The first game he played he won and that made him feel good, he picked up a sugilite rock and slipped it into his bag. It was days like today he wished he had worn his shorts not his kilt, and yes it was a kilt. To him the choice to wear it wasn't so much to was a "skirt" but to not wear pants. However he disliked anyone who even commented on his choice of clothing. He then played another game and won that too picking up a bat plushie he smiled. It was almost creepy enough for him. He looked down at the thing thinking of removing one eye, or perhaps adding some stitches to make it more his.

Miku ran around excitedly all morning he checked the clock atleast twenty times waiting for it to be time to go. Once it was he cheered and sang all the way there. The little imp was at first intimidated by how many people were there but he shook his head and dove right in, a lot of the games had long waits but he found one that didn't and he won. When picking a prize he got a blue rose because he thought that it was so cool! He turned to the nearest person and said. "wow this is amazing right?" he didn't care if he didn't know the person he decided that he would talk to anyone.
Hailey was far too excited today for her own good. With her hand clutching Malachi's, she dragged the poor guy to the festivities as the Hunter's Jubilee started! There was chances at hoarding more junk, candy, plushies, and there were rumors of new familiars! This was going to be the best festival by far!... especially since there was a romantic feel in the air. There were so many thoughts and plots running through her head already. Malachi was doomed. And, without missing a beat, Hailey snitched up a bag of candies
After all this time, it was no surprise that Malachi was being dragged about everywhere. It was now par for the course and even though there were times he'd actually like to lead, he could at least smile and be amused by it now. There was hope she'd at least take a moment when he saw her go for the bag of candies, but even that didn't break her focus... though what she was completely set on was completely beyond him right now.
Another festival was in the works and Dodger found himself drawn to the excitement of it all... even if he was showing up by him lonesome at this point in time. Life kept him and his girl apart a good bit lately, but the prospect of getting some love-themed goodies put a smile on his face. He wasn't quite sure what this year's festivities would hold, but as always, he was excited to find out. Of course, the moment his eyes landed on a bag of brownies, that was all she wrote for his attention span for starters. He swooped in and grabbed up the bag, tearing into it and stuffing a big ol piece in his mouth. Yup... this was the way to start this fun!
Settling into the new place was great, but knowing that there was something fun going on was enough for Matty to drag Ryker out for the day. They met at a festival, so it only made sense that they go have fun at this one, too! Plus there was probably going to be tons of chocolate, so there's no way he could miss out.
Turning around as he was walking, Matty grinned up at Ryker. "Just remember, I totally have my phone with me just in case you give me anything blackmail worthy to work with." Scrunching his nose with a smirk and a wink, he turned around and skipped a few steps before snitching up a cute little plushie. "Ah! I'm excited for this. I so can't wait to see what kind of goodies there are this time. First round gave me a crapton of awesome stuff... and a hot roomie, too"
"God yessss!" Pawsa said as she began to stroll around, arms stretched out and grin plastered on her face. Studying has been a nightmare and interning was definitely rough. Right now she just wanted some freedom from responsibilities and some fun. What better way to do that then the chance to get some junk food, hang out with everyone, and maybe hoard some new trinkets n crap. Gods knew she loved her trinkets.
Seeing a table of goodies that she wanted to hit, Pawsa strolled on over. Just as she was about to reach out and grab up some chocolate, there was something that coiled around her leg. With a puzzled look she peered down at something pink. "What the what?..."
The tired Mai Tai didn't really feel like doing a whole lot today, but if only for a friend, she had decided to go out to the start of the Hunter's Jubilee party. It was a big to do and this was the first year she could go, so okay. Why not. As a familiar looking plushie was offered up to her, Mai Tai accepted and gave a sleepy smile in return while cuddling it close.
Even though the little goblin had much plotted out, he figured that a party revolving around love was a great place for him to be noticed. Ezekiel had big plans to rule the world someday and that meant he'd certainly have to have those who were willing to follow. One such a person seemed to be becoming a tired, yet friendly little thing... Mai Tai. At least he wasn't alone as all the craziness around them began. With a grin, Zeke snitched up a bracelet and dawned it. "Yes. The perfect start to a perfect day me thinks!"
Morginn was practically skipping as he explored the festival grounds. He loved Hunter's Jubilee, and this was his first time seeing how it was celebrated in Below. He'd considered going back to Above to visit his family for the celebration, but in the end his curiosity made him stick it out. So far it seemed like that was the right choice. Even the ever-present cold couldn't dampen his spirits! There was supposed to be a bunch of events, and he wasn't sure which one to attend first!
A soft buzzing sound broke Morginn from his giddy plans. He looked around, trying to locate the source. It sounded like it was coming from some cold-tolerate flowers? He went over to look, and found a brilliantly-colored fluffbug huddled among the stems.
"Hey there little fella," Morginn exclaimed, wiggling his fingers in an attempt to get the fluffbug on his hand; it was very friendly and needed little coaxing. He held it close, being careful not to crush it. "This is no weather for you to be out and about in! Let's get you somewhere nice and toasty." Morginn began to backtrack to his dorm, keeping an eye out for anyone looking for a lost fluffbug just in case this was a pet.
Delilah sneaks over to the festival, and looks around. It was so crowded! The shy grimm carefully worked her way around the booths, keeping to the edges of everything. After one circuit, she decided to head back... Nothing had caught her eye at first, then as she went to leave, she saw the VesperCat Plushies... And had to snag a purple one!
