The grimm, while shy and skittish, was starting to feel alright about the whole situation. Maybe it was because she was hyped up on sugar. Skipping around, she paused when she arrived at a simple booth: in a small tub of water, many rubber flitterats floated. All she had to do was pick one out, and the number on the bottom of them indicated the prize she won. Plucking up an orange one, she mumble, “Nine? Hmm..” and looked towards the wall of prizes – 9 apparently meant a plush. Picking up a pink fennekit, she smiled and hugged it. Too cute!
Pulling out the box of treats in her backpack, she could see the vespercats watch like a hawk – ready to swarm her. Carefully, she opened the container and poured a few into her hand before tossing them to the ground. The cats desperately piled together, pawing for their own share. Phiffion glanced at Arkham, who meowed to her. “Y-yeah, maybe we should go…” she said to her feline companion before stepping away and scooting over towards more of where the festivities were located. Finding a game where you had to knock down a stack of bottles with a ball, Phiffion smirked and decided to give it a shot. Moments later, bottles were down, and Phiffion found herself holding a vespercat plush as a prize. How ironic.
Estys raised her eyebrow as Chau proclaimed his want to be her boyfriend and dashed off to the strength game. Ah, freshling youth~ What it was like to be young – it made her miss being a freshling. She smiled and seeing him return with the plush, she let the jackalope on the ground so it could roam freely. The fey then kneeled down so she was level with his height and ruffled his hair a little. “Thank you Chau, and that’s really sweet of you, but I think I’m too old for you. Maybe you should find someone that’s your age, sweetie,” she said, hoping this wouldn’t upset him too much.
Clenching tightly to their new plushie, Zephyr skipped around, keeping their eye out for the coatl, as well as looking for something that’d draw their attention in. Upon seeing a table that was off on its own, Zephyr tilted their head and approached it. Lined neatly along the table were a plethora of smooth rocks. “Ooooo,” the neko said, eyes sparkling with delight. They picked up a fluorite, held it up in the light, and admired how it transitioned from a deep purple to a sea green. It was so lovely! “Don’t mind if I do!” Zephyr said, tucking it into their packpack before scooting along to see what else there was.
((note: filler post so Phaedra can get trinket. Koiasi is busy which is no big deal + + <3)) Phaedra glanced to the side shyly, trying to not show her obvious shyness and growing nerves to Pandora. She had to admit – Pandora was so cool. It made her feel so lucky… She’d be able to get an awesome big sister that could even help her with music. She wasn’t sure how to react to it all. Trying to not fumble around, Phaedra pulled out a small box of chocolates she had acquired and fed one to her bat pet, receiving an appreciative screech from her. “D-don’t mess this up for us, ok, Flik?” she mumbled, loud enough only for her pet to hear.
“Eh, it doesn’t really matter how well you do anyway, as long as you have fun. And I’m have fun, dunno about you,” she said, smiling back at Delilah. Her high energy levels were generally a turn off from most; she was glad that Deliliah hadn’t run off scared. Or maybe she was too scared to try and run off. “And thank you~” she said, her voice almost like a purr. Seeing Delilah side swipe the plush, she picked one up as well, enjoying the cute heart patterns on it. And with the grimm bringing up a food booth, she did notice that she was getting a bit thirsty – and even a little hungry. Looping her arm around Delilah’s, she pulled her forward. “Yeah, great idea! Eli stared at the teary-eyed freshling with furrowed brows, clearly confused. “Why do you have a blanket wrapped around your legs?” he said, crossing his arms and huffing. “Also, how is that blanket even comfy? It feels like scales…” He paused and continued to stare at Farid’s lower half. At this point, many that would have made Eli’s mistake (and by that, I mean no one. No one would make this mistake.) would have realized something was off – and maybe even considered that the tail was part of Farid, but the stubborn demon did not seem to want to recognize this. Instead, his eyes flicked upwards, and noticing the coatl, he gasped. “Oh, you’re pretending to be one of those!! Did you use an enchantment or something? You must be powerful with magic and stuff…!” he said. While normally being fairly antisocial, his curiosity was getting the best of him, and he was becoming mesmerized with this stranger. If he could learn to do that, then maybe he could transform his mother’s sickness into something else!! …not that that seemed probable, but the young demon was hopeful and full of ambition.
Raleka's blush deepened as Renge offered her a plush as well. If these two weren't working together to land something-or-other with her, they might as well be competing. On the other hand, she couldn't resist giving her new stuffed animal a small squeeze, trying not to let the joy of the small hug reach her face. "Oh, thank you," she said to Renge, her enthusiasm slightly shining through. Her smiles were given out rarely, like finding a flower amongst the leaves of a plant out of season, but she always tried to show her appreciation to those who went out of their way to attempt to make her cheerful.
Morginn linked his arm in hers, and she watched as Renge was swept away as well. Even though Raleka was much taller than the both of them, and much less delicate, she couldn't help but be dragged along by the Fey. Conscientious of her surroundings, she drew her wings in closer to her back, not wanting to accidentally whack someone with them. Her arm could have been detached from Morginn's with ease, but Raleka was... sort of enjoying being scooped up into the moment.
The hybrid decided it couldn't hurt to get to know her new acquaintances a little bit. They looked to be a similar age as her, despite their small size. "Do you both attend University?" she asked, curious to see if she may have missed either of them on her own campus. Her eyes were so frequently on the ground, Raleka would not have been shocked if that were the case. But again, with the vast array of majors offered, she could have simply just never seen them because they didn't share classes.
As they walked, one of the workers carrying a basket with more plushies waltzed by. Raleka quickly grabbed one, and was delighted to see that it the pink variety of the plush Renge had just gifted her. Now she'd have two matching fennekits! Cradling both toys in her arm, she wondered how many more she'd be able to make room for.
When they reached the booth, and Morginn announced his desire to craft another set, Raleka's eyes widened in disbelief. "Do you like to sew or something?" she asked, setting her toys on the table. She was neververy craftsy, but she wouldn't mind attempting to make some as a gift of appreciation for these two.
Claiming 9 points for today. This makes a total of 20 points this week.

Morginn chuckled, both in recognition of Renge's flirting with Raleka and for her promise to get him a plushie as well. It had been a while since he'd hung out with another Fey, especially one so lively. Two interesting ladies to enjoy the festival with? This was shaping up to be a lovely day!
"Well the plushie-making booth is this way," he said, linking his arms through Renge's and Raleka's like they were already the best of friends and leading them through the crowd, though the Fey was so tiny compared to both of them that they could have easily run off with him and there'd be nothing he could do about it. "I might just have to sit down and make a couple more!"
"Looks like coming outside has already paid off," Topaz said in an amused voice. She and Narra strolled off with their new prizes, looking through some of the game booths as they made their way towards the drink booth Topaz remembered. Most seemed to be games based on aim, either by throwing or catching something. There were a few memory games as well that she would have to remember to stop at at some point. A very distinctive sound caught her attention. Oooh, they had a bell-ringing game! Topaz always enjoyed those.
"Hang on, I want to give this game a shot," she said, pausing and carefully disengaging her arm from Narra's. "I'll give you a demonstration of Baphomet strength," she added with a wink, then went over to the game. The line was very short and the game moved at a brisk pace, and soon Topaz was standing in front of the game, holding a rubber sledge hammer. She stood for for a second, her short, fluffy tail twitching just a little as it did when she concentrated hard. Then she stepped forward and gave the target a good smack. The little metal piece shot straight up the pole and smacked into the bell with a satisfying right. Topaz selected a prize and returned to Narra, grinning.
"It's not as nice as a flower, but here's a little something anyway," she said, taking his hand and placing something small onto his palm.
There were far more games then there were booths that Allumin could just buy things from. Which gave the nixi pause. He was not goo at any sort of game like challenge, and while he was enjoying observing the festival, he was starting to realize how awkward his presence was. At least in compare to the others. Most people seemed to have come with a friend, and as he watched, a good portion of them were gifting their prizes to someone else. Allumin looked down at his three plushies and pondered their fuzzy heads in silence. He supposed this meant he had to make three friends. For every gift item he left this place with, it would be like a promise to make that many friends in the future. That wasn't too bad of a thing right?
Anchriesel's next toss was as good as his last one--this time, he picked a purple rat. "My favorite animals are rhinos. Rats are my second-favorite though. What about you?"

Zalir shrugged. "I, um, don't have a favorite...but...jellies...I do like jellies a lot. Um, they're my...favorite..." Apparently this was a good topic of conversation--zey once again knocked over a whole stack of bottles. This time, zey picked a red jelly. This was...probably enough jellies for now.

Ustule's next stop was a dart throwing game. She hadn't played one of these since she'd first come here. She aimed carefully with the dart and popped a small pink balloon. Her reward was another bat plushie. Excellent.

Quilo's played another round of bowling--just for fun--and this time he won a familiar. He remembered a PSA they'd had to watch at some point--animals did not make good gifts. Even if you were pretty sure you knew what kind of pet your friend would like. He sighed and picked a pet for himself--a pretty red Nezubat. He petted her gently. He loved bats. He hoped she would get along well with Startle and Flabbergast!

It was Eidil's turn next, and she correctly guessed the substance before pulling her hand out--partially melted chocolate. Her reward (once she'd cleaned off her fingers) was another stuffed bat. Her collection was nearly complete...

Callessa didn't do as well on the next one as she had done on previous ones, but she did well enough to earn herself a stuffed animal. Normally she didn't really like them, but, well, with those fluffbug plushes, who could resist? She picked a purple one and stuffed it in her pocket.

SL nodded at the game master to start the game again. With the targets set up once again, SL squirted his target. He kept his eyes on it, never wavering...the end of his tail twitched... The game master started clapping. SL blinked at them and tilted his head. "That was a record time, kid! Would you like a pet?"
They could get pets here? Wordlessly, SL pointed to a blue rat, the match to his new plushie. "Right you are kid," the man chuckled. SL smiled at him.

Evelyn had basically all of the stuffed animals she could get for her sibling, but she wanted some for herself. Just a little...something for herself. She brought her parent over to the spin-the-wheel game once again and took another try. She was successful once again, and with an opportunity to pick a stuffed animal, she picked a blue one. She loved bunnies, and she loved blue...so of course! A blue bunny!

Guereda had pretty much everything they could possibly need, but if Evey wanted to stay a little longer... They reached out and spun the wheel. Their prize was a locket. They looked at the stuffed animals brimming from their bag...and picked a purple one. Yes...

Verity deposited her books once again by the sleeping Fenaret and watched the excited teenage girls. She shook her head at Shera. "Were we ever that young?"

Ugh, it was so unfair! That stupid kid kept getting all of their prizes! They tried their hardest, and they still weren't first. They did manage to get it across quickly, so they got a prize, but still! Aura picked out a stuffed rabbit and cuddled it to their chest, glaring daggers at the Bakeneko child.
Fig broke into a grin at seeing Cam light up. "Well, good. I'd hate to keep you waiting unnecessarily long." He chuckled, freeing a hand to give the cheery imp woman a warm squeeze as well, since he didn't have to worry about squishing wings or a flower like she did, all the while trying to keep the bouquet hidden behind his back with the help of his wings. Arching his brows at the produced gift bag, a big easy smile spread across his features. "Oh, wow! Cam, thank you so much." Accepting the bag into his free hand, he shifted his weight to one leg to prop the bag against his knee so that he could get a better look inside. Just from the look of the pieces within, he could see the degree of time and care put into them. Before he could say or do anything else a not too unfamiliar buzzing grew louder overhead. Without having a chance to look up to investigate, a blue fluffbug alighted upon the top of his head! "Oop!" The fluffbug waggled its antennae before turning around and making its way awkwardly onto his shoulder, investigating the perhaps not so well hidden bundle of flowers at his back. Fig laughed with a slight shaking of his head. "Well, so much for trying to keep this a secret. When I got here, I couldn't help but to pick up something for you." Bringing the hand around holding the bouquet of roses, he gave her the bundle of flowers. "I know they're everywhere, but I couldn't resist. I hope you like them."
With a newly freed hand, he gently scratched the fluffbug's fuzzy forehead between it's antennae. "Sorry, buddy, but those aren't for you. I've got some I've grown in my dorm though, if you'd like to check those out." The bug buzzed softly at the scratching and repositioned itself on top of the fey's head, surveying from its new perch. "Okay then," Fig said with a little titter as he turned his attention back to Cam's gift. The colors were reminiscent of those of his wings. A pretty close match at that! Reaching into the bag, he drew out the scarf, rubbing it between his hands, both hands now free due to shifting the gift bag to hang on his wrist. The yarn was so soft and the knit was so thick! "Cam, these are marvelous! These will be just what the doctor ordered to help me stave off the chill." He carefully leaned forward, so as to not upset his living blue head adornment, and placed a kiss on her cheek. "Thank you," He said in low tone just loud enough for her to hear as he straightened again. "Cam, I will cherish these always," He finished as he wrapped the scarf around his neck. Sure, they were inside, but he wanted to show off some of Cam's handiwork! Plus, the scarf would be all the better upon leaving if it were prewarmed before stepping outside again.
Freddy nodded. "That sounds like a good idea! We should both try really hard to win Percy a prize, cause that's what friends do!" He had a plan B just in case; he was pretty good at sneaking, and could probably nab a prize if he had to. He didn't think he would, there were games all over the place not to mention people just handing stuff out here and there, but he liked to have backup plans.
"Let's see if we can find a game place that has some pretty stones we could win! I've seen a couple, there has to be some around here!"
(( XD So this is a little out of order, but responding to both Percy's post from a couple pages back and Nef's post on the next page. Didn't have time to fill this in yesterday, so might as well use it! Also just wanting to be sure, was the rose also for Freddy? ))
Jaden nodded and pulled the door open since Leto had his hands full; once they'd started going through the Academy halls Sprinkles had calmed down and didn't need any guidance from the hybrid freshling. He also picked up the box of chocolates, noticing Leto's name on it. It made him wonder who might have left something like this, but it would have been quite rude to just ask!
Jaden entered the room and went over to deposit the chocolate and arrow on Leto's desk. Blueberry and Cream immediately came out to swarm his legs, wanting to know where he'd been without them. It was a good thing they were going to be here for a little bit getting warmed up before going back out, because he was going to have to spend some time giving the fennekits attention if he didn't want them to go into a pout!
When he took a break momentarily to put his plushies on his bed and his pretty rock and candy on the desk, he got a surprise. There were two rocks in his pocket! When had the second one gotten there?
