The nixie wasn't doing a very good job of coming up with ideas on what to do with the book that wouldn't possibly offend the fey. It became even harder still especially when she realized both book and Caramel were feys. She managed, barely, to keep her lips pressed together tightly so as not to blurt out something stupid. Maybe she could just hold the book behind her. At all times.

Renge was cooing at the wisp when it suddenly darted off again. And naturally, she gave chase after giving it a few minutes head start. When the wisp landed on another plushie, the fey quickly plucked it from the stand and decided this little cutie would make for a great gift to Airhine.
Pandora smiled as the song came to an end and she got a few rounds of applause for it. She bowed and began to look around for any sign of the description she had been given. When she heard the voice, her smile grew wider and she bent down to get on eye level with the girl. "Well, thank you! You must be Phaedra, yeah? My name is Pandora. It's nice to finally meet you!" She slipped a pack off her shoulders and pulled out a bat plushie, handing it toward the girl. "I know it's not much, but hope you like it" A small little rat poked it's nose out, staring at the girl before shimmying it's way back into Pandora's hair. Pandora giggled a little, "And that's Shim, he's kind of shy."
Caramel smiled "Don't worry about it, if you want to know more about fey I can tell you sometime, maybe I'll see you at the speed dating event??" Caramel asked hopefully, trying for casual and not to forward. After all he didn't want to come across as weird, but Trixie was really cute and he wanted to get to know her better.

(Shi I'm blanking on Wren and Cybelle rp >.< so I'm having them wander off k??)
Akylan couldn't help but smirk at Kimi. He knew the game she was playing, but by the Nine he couldn't let her win~! "I shall be the best knight a beautiful princess could ever have." He lowered himself into a bow before he spoke, upon setting himself upright, he kissed her hand. "I pledge my life to your service, Milady. Should you ever need me, merely utter my name and I shall be at your ever beckon call." He turned to his backpack and pulled out a fluffy flutterbug, offering it to her. "A gift for my wonderful and most beautiful lady!"
Phiffion crouched down, petting each of her two kitty friends with a hand. They affectionately purred and meowed at her, pressing themselves against her, eager for more pets and overall attention. It almost seemed like a call for attention; moments later, another vespercat approached her – similar in appearance to the others, except pinkish instead of purple and blue like the others. Were they all from the same litter? she wondered. They scooped up the pink and white vespercat in her arms and scratched his chin. “Are there any more of you?” she asked him in a soft tone one might use when talking to a baby.
The imp grinned. “Delilah, huh? That’s a nice name.” With her arm still around the grimm’s shoulder, she pointed with her free hand at a ring toss booth with a plethora of plushies as the prize. “Do you like games, Delly? Let’s play one!” she said, essentially dragging the poor senior along with her as she walked over to it. Releasing Delilah from her grip for the moment, she grabbed hold of the rings and threw them, managing to land one on a bottle. Looking at the prizes, she giggled and picked up a red jackalope plush and held it up. “Look! It matches you – just as red as you are. You should keep it.”
Phaedra wasn’t sure what she was expecting; she had been initially hesitant to signup to get a big sister… But now she felt more relieved; the senior definitely played and enjoyed music, and though she wouldn’t admit it, the plush had won her over. Eyes widening with excitement, she wrapped her small hands around it, cradling it happily against her body. “T-thank you,” she said meekly, eyes entranced with the circular patterns on the nezubat plush’s wings. She paused and realizing herself, said, “W-was I supposed to get you something, Pandora? I’m sorry I didn’t, b-but It’s n-nice to meet you.” She felt a little guilty and glanced around, trying to spot some sort of trinket she could snatch up to give to Pandora but was unsure what she would even like.
At the entrance of the flitterat, her mouth curled into a small smile. “Can I pet him?” she asked. She could feel her bat pet wriggle on her shoulder. “Oh, and this is Flik. He’s one of my nezubats.. He gets jealous if he’s not being pampered like a little baby.” She turned her head and scowled at the bat; it screeched happily, unaware he was being scolded.

Noticing a crowd at a booth, the grimm tilted her head. Why are there so many people there? she thought to herself. Laina approached a game booth with uncertain steps, her piqued curiosity being enough to guide her. As she reached it, she noted it was some sort of dart throwing contest; if you pop the balloons, you could get a prize. The top prize was a pet, with the consolation prize being a plushie. She decided to give it a shot – picking up the darts, she tossed them one by one and was able to pop the last balloon. Being told to pick up a prize, she looked at the prizes and slowly picked up a jackalope. It was kind of cute…
Estys smiled, content to see the freshling happy. Leaning down so she was eye level with him, she introduced herself, “I’m Estys! It’s really nice to meet you, Chau. Art is great… And I’d love to play with you!” She tilted her head, looking around. Spotting another game booth, she pointed to it, “Why don’t we check that game out?” She stood back up and offered out her hand for Chau to take so she could lead him to the booth. Eager to make a little small talk, she curiously asked, “So Chau, do you like plants? Do you have a favorite plant?”
Raleka wasn't normally a party person, but when the holiday celebrations came around each year, she couldn't help herself but attend. They were usually fun, and she enjoyed watching younger children run around, grabbing prizes and chasing each other around, even doing the occasional, awkward dance. It was an effort getting out to the party this year, especially because the air was so chilled, but the hybrid bundled up appropriately and made her way to the festivities.
By the time the student reached the party, it was in full swing. She could hear the music pounding, vibrating the ground beneath her feet, and the gentle buzz of voices mingling. She slipped into the hall, shyly slouching over as her lilac eyes surveyed the scene. Raleka didn't immediately recognize any familiar faces, but she figured she might see one if she stuck around.
Doing what she did best, Raleka sidled to the favors table, surveying the goodies screaming to be scooped up. She slid her hand down the table, eyes searching for a prize she might want to take home. The corners of the hybrid's mouth quirked up when she saw the collection of rocks scattered about, some people having already clearly taken their pick. She fingered a polished hunk of rhodonite, thinking the tiny sliver of green within the pink crystal reminded her of some mosses she had studied recently.
Eli was starting to look silly at this point, with his arms full of plushies and a wisp floating around him excitedly. Ridiculous enough to catch the attention of another wisp; the orb floated towards him lazily – the small demon grinned and eagerly inched towards it. “Do you wanna come home with me too?” he asked it. it began to circle him like the other orb. Guess that’s a yes, he thought to himself. He enjoyed having wisps as pets, but found them a little strange; he wasn’t quite sure if they were sentient, or just enjoyed feeding off his energies.
A small freshling tiptoed in, starry-eyed at all the festivities going on. They were new to this academy and without their twin, they felt apprehensive of their surroundings. Clinging tightly to their plushie, they trudged slowly through the area, taking in all the activity before settling on what to do or try out. As they were getting ready to try a game out, however, they felt something rub against their leg. Glancing down, Zephyr noticed a small coatl. Smiling, they reached down and pet it. “Hello,” they said softly to it. The coatl began to slither away - intrigued, Zephyr followed after the snake, anxious to see where they would end up.
Kimi was sure Akylan was on to her by now and she certainly wasn't going to back down! He had been the one to start this gift-giving war and she certainly wasn't going to be the one to end it! The fluffbug plushie he gave her really was terribly adorable though. She definitely had a soft spot for those little familiars. It was too bad she didn't actually have one of her own, but a little plushie would do for now!
"Thank you kinda Knight. I shall treasure them always. And my, you've been working so hard for me. Don't you think it's time for a little snack?" She rummaged in her bag just briefly before pulling out the raspberry flavored chocolates. Chocolate always makes a good gift, no matter the flavor involved. She just happened to have a fondness for Raspberry herself.

Cassie's attention was immediately drawn to her vocal son, and she planted her hands on her hips a bit playfully as Rhys approached. "What, what, whaatttt?" she called back at a more respectful volume, putting out her hands to stop him before he could barrel into her completely. A small smile was still on her lips, and she patted the top of Malikah's head before crouching the slightest to view Rhys' prize. "It's very pretty," she informed with a smile, taking the piece of plastic from her son. She made a show of trying it on all her fingers, looking honestly a bit relieved as it fit on her ring finger. "Thanks baby," Cassie praised, fixing Rhys' hair with an appreciative smile as she came back to full height.
She didn't get to enjoy the attention for long though, immediately returning her hands to her hips. Her blue eyes scanned for a quick head count and oh - yes. They were short one. "Smolder," she sighed softly, her wings tucking tighter against her back. While displeasure crossed her face, no fear was really evoked. This was such common place, and they were at an Academy festival. She was sure their quiet son had just managed to wander off on pure accident, either by his own feet or by Rhys' bounding away. "Aten, breathe," she murmured, moving to fix Raa's hair as well with a quick comb of her fingers. "There's plenty of caretakers around, and all the kids know those in their class. They're at home here at the Academy, I'm sure he's not really lost."
Malikah seemed completely unphased, more in tune with Cassie's nonchalant at the moment than with Aten's frustration. As Raa presented his gift, he only could grin wider, thrusting one in turn towards his brother. "This one matches mine," he informed, squeezing both of his plushies together before him, leaning the slightest to speak around Rhys to Raa instead. "So you should take it!" The Freshling's excitement only grew even more as Anubis came into view, and he held his multi-colored plush high. "The three of us all match!" he informed, more than happy to ignore the adult conversation above their heads.
Before she could even think any further, there he was right at their feet. Cassie put on a bright smile, moving to comb Anubis' hair too before Aten scooped him up. She watched her two boyfriends bicker quietly, moving instead to tend to Malikah's hair again as the boy excitedly showed their prizes about, having now decided to let Rhys see what he had won too. "We're fine now, okay?" she simply sighed, positive her lovely Imp was going to have a fit about it later. If he had serious parent feels before, having their children had made it all even worse. Lightly, she tapped the back of her hand against Smolder's arm. "I'll buy you a leash," she teased quietly, but it was only half there as she understood Aten's frustrations but didn't want to drag it out any longer. At least not in public at a children's event.
