Vin had decided in a necklace as his earlobes were a bit too fragile for earrings (he had misplaced a earlobe once before) and bracelets tended to slip off his bone wrists. Playing with it, he set out to see where he coukd get more energy. This meant he had to get dressed for the outside and mingle a bit more than usual, but seeing how stressful the state of the Tower was, he wanted it fixed as soin as possible.
He returned later that day to offer the energy he had managed that day in hopes they coukd quickly resolve the situation before any more damage could be done.
Rep swung by the Famine floor to see how the restoration efforts were going. He had close friends from all the different clans, Vin was just one of them but it was enough to have him want to keep an eye out that things were progressing back to functionality. The whole issue with the crystal was a real ******** worry for him and of all the clans he hoped deep down that famine would have an answer.
Most of the horsemen on the floor were busy with their scurrying back and forth returning crystals to the hive and he watched them with a distant sort of observation. He was never much good for anything, the idea of working, of doing things which took actual effort was always an off-putting thing and even this, if he admitted it was just more killing time and avoiding doing what he actually had to do.
He wasn't at all surprised by their speedy progress at all, watching the crystals pile and up the fear along with it. Famine was all about camaraderie, about being part of the larger hive. Sometimes he wished he was part of something greater himself, somewhere where he could simply be given orders and not have to think, not have to deal with being bored or lazy or sulky. He wouldn't be able to get away with the things he did because there would be discipline and order. There wasn't really much order in war but there was order of a sort here, structure in the hierarchy, a tidy array of castes and a unifying attitude of progress.

Maybe the world was still a bit fuzzy around the edges, and maybe Ever was still a bit blurry, as he found his way back to Famine to drop off some fear. It took him just a few to figure out how to get the necklace off, to share.

The famine floor was looking brighter since the last time Thias had walked through. This time he had a little more fear in the earrings as he handed them to the sage in charge of transferring them over to the crystal. Luckily for him it was just enough to push the crystal over into lighting the last bit they needed for the famine floors leaving them no longer plunged in darkness.

In all that she did, Mimsy was mindful of how best to serve her clan. She was mindful of how best to serve their Queen, knowing that she would have no purpose without him - it was with his own contribution of FEAR that she had been granted an existence, a place among the hive, and a contribution of her skills was always the very least that she could provide in return.
She had been tirelessly at work since the crisis of the crystal for which Robert was absolutely not at fault, and seemed pleased but humbled as she returned with the fruits of that labor. Small, FEAR imbued crystals, more accurately. They were bundled up in a shimmering package of spider silk, faintly resonating as they shifted and clinked together from her movements.
Head reverently (or shyly) bowed, she wordlessly extended her collection to her Queen, the blue glow of her eyes just barely daring to meet his.

[Conservatory]
Cor direly needed to unwind and that is what brought him to one of his most favorite locations on the famine floor, his room aside, it was calming and cleansing and he always felt like a new horse afterwards.
He came dressed in nothing but a leather loincloth and an over sized fluffy towel.
He took a few moments to explore the area around the pool, to ensure it wasn't too crowded or busy on this particular day. Most of the famine seemed to be buzzing around busily in the distance with some sort of sciency... thing. Whatever it was, it was not something that mattered to his little war horse mind.
Satisfied with the level of activity, he reached a hand in the tepid refreshing waters. Not too hot, not too cold, famine knew how to make the pool just right at all times and this horseman appreciated the effort.
He shrugged his towel from his shoulders and draped it across his chosen spot and then rounded back towards the waters. He intertwined his fingers and gave his body a massive stretch that loosened everything up before..... carefully taking the steps into the water. He waded out to the deep end and then sucked in a deep breath causing his entire body to float up to the surface. He stared straight up at the ceiling and allowed his body to then float lazily wherever it had decided. Gently pushing off the wall whenever any of his limbs brushed against it.
