Description - In the heart of bustling night time Las Vegas, there is a hunter base inside an old apartment block which looks unassuming from the outside but is heavily fortified with shielding.

The lights here were very pretty - a bit like the bioluminescent creatures that had lived in every single place that she had called home, but far less impressive. The glimmering lights of the city didn't share the same life that the insects did, and snuffing them out wasn't nearly as interesting.
She stared at the bulb she'd broken in the entryway, quite disappointed.

When the shield broke and Robert fell tumbling down to the ground, he landed right on his a**, and then popped back up before Mimsy could see it. His weapon was in his hands the moment he could hear someone coming, and whirled around to find a single hunter barreling towards them. Well that was pretty stupid of her. He barreled RIGHT BACK. The hunter wouldn't know what hit her, between their combined efforts. It was probably a bit disorienting to be slammed into by a massive horseman, while a much spindlier entity just stood giggling wildly behind him.
And the addition of a swarm of spiders probably didn't help things.

Robert tried especially hard not to hit all the spiders that swarmed around the hunter, as he sliced and diced away at her. After all, those were all little tiny precious parts of Mimsy. They had to be protected at all costs!
He still managed to get quite a few nasty slices on the mist hunter, and he could feel her barrier weaken. One more swarm should about do it.

As the spider-shaped FEAR seemed to dissipate, returning back to the proper host where it belonged, Mimsy's appearance grew more spiderlike, her arachnid legs reaching out towards the ailing hunter.
Without a shield, human flesh was not a durable thing.

Mimsy had made mince meat of the hunter. In it's desperation to pendant out and get away, it left behind it's coat. Robert thought it might make a nice war trophy, but when he tried to pick it up, it shredded between his fingertips. He assumed this was probably the good work of his wife, so he took a shred and wrapped it up around his head, happy to wear it as his trophy until they got home. When he looked at himself in the glass of a broken down car, he thought it looked good on him! So he flexed a lot.
Just to be sure.
