Description - In the heart of bustling night time Las Vegas, there is a hunter base inside an old apartment block which looks unassuming from the outside but is heavily fortified with shielding.

Past experience taught her that tuning off all the lights was not nearly as fun as she might have expected it to be, so Mimsy put slightly less effort into attacking the exterior lighting this time.

He made extra special work of killing that barrier with several strikes of his blade, over and over, almost like he was trying to stab it to death.
"Watch this Mimsy!" He screamed out, nearly cracking the barrier completely with his last hit.

Of course, Mimsy watched, eager to see what 'this' was. 'This' was a rather impressive attack, she learned, and she clacked two spidery appendages together in a buglike clapping motion.
"Hurrah!" she cheered, releasing an enthusiastic burst of faintly glowing spiders in celebration. They set to work burrowing into the barrier, which wasn't what she'd planned on, but worked well enough.

He finished off his part of the barrier with a very over-dramatic, overflourished set of attacks, only because Mimsy was watching now and she was clapping for him and that easily sent him into spirals of pride that had him working overtime. He would do anything for the sound of her laughter, including nearly killing himself trying to bring down a barrier that was already almost gone.
He slammed into the ground once it dissipated underneath him. Still grinning, though.

She was delighted at Robert's continued success, rewarding him with a kiss and another giggle - both of which were rudely interrupted by an intruder.
This was not something she took kindly to.

He got a kiss?
HE GOT A KISS.
Robert whooped and whirled his blade, even before he caught sight of the Mist Hunter coming their way. Mimsy was already attacking it, but he was still doing a little dance of joy over being so good at fighting that he'd gotten a kiss from his Starlover. He whooped again, and his blade went flying up into the air.
It landed several times right on the Mist Hunter, shredding its shield to bits and taking its coat off before it could even get away.
