Robert was this close to going back to the crystal and touching it again just to prove that he wasn't at fault for what had happened, but what good would that do? Nobody would believe him unless they were there to see it. He had to bring more people! It only made sense!

Besides, that Yuki was right - they should probably be a little concerned with what was actually corrupting it, and maybe stop it before they lost all power completely.

So he hopped out of the tower and flew around it, cupping his hands and screaming in his full, booming voice.

"WHO WANTS TO GO CHECK OUT THE CRYSTAL WITH ME? COME MY CLANSMEN, UNITE!" He'd even carry one or two of those unfortunately disabled due to the lack of wings, if they wanted. The more proof, the better.

Though her defense of Robert had come from the right place (the approximate region where a heart would be), few seemed to believe Mimsy's assurance that he had not been the one to break it. Working collaboratively among the others in Famine to gather FEAR and restore the crystal was now a priority of utmost importance - but an accurate assessment of the problem was also necessary.

It was a good excuse, at least.

Instead of making any noise or alerting others to her presence, she simply clung to the side of the tower with her spidery limbs, watching and waiting and smiling at her very bright, loud bird.

He already knew the majority of war were loud and boisterous, but this one was the SHEER EPITOME of all war, and he winced at their loud voice.
He stared blankly as glass fell to the floor and shattered.

Still, he supposed it didn't hurt to examine the crystal further, and NOT because he was curious and was listening to what this loud nearly-naked horseman was telling him to do.
Fanning out his wings, he flew closer.

To be honest he wasn't sure which was more blinding. The crystal or the other horseman.
"I'm pretty sure even the blind can spot you from a mile away."

It was hard to tell if this was a compliment or an insult.
He hadn't noticed the famine however, and squinted.
For someone seemingly a stark contrast from the usual famine (honestly, it was only the multiple limbs that gave away her particular clan), she seemed to blend in quite well.
... were they usually that sparkly?

"A bet?" Maebe hissed out, popping up from one of the other windows on the first floor just to be able to watch the show. She laid on the windowsill and basked in the chaos, turning until her stomach faced the sky and she was watching them all yell at one another upside down.

"I want to place a bet. I bet the big one is eaten by the sparkly one before they even reach the crystal. Where do I place my money?"

Issos didn't even flinch at Maebe's abrupt entrance. "An excellent idea," he said brightly, one black tipped hand emerging from the folds of his clothes in order to rummage around and tug out a small, empty leather pouch, which he tossed to her. A flash of a grin was offered to Ake.

"I'll bet that the big one makes it explode. And that Ireland wins but Krum gets the Snitch."

Maebe caught the purse and quickly put a few weighty coins into the satchel. Then she tossed it at Ake, after making sure she had his attention.

"And I bet the femme takes him down in one gulp before they move an inch."

She grinned at the newcomer, and shook her head. "He hasn't touched it yet. They're gathering forces before they get moving. Would you like to place a bet on what happens, too?"

Elaia grinned happily, pleased with her timing; hadn't missed a thing and those observing were making a very fun game of it. Thankfully there were a few coin jingling around in one of her pouches, enough to satisfy the pot that had been made. "Ooo, that sounds super fun," already her hands were in search while ideas began to circle through her head.

Exploding seemed like an obvious choice already taken, shattering too (which she had heard). The small Guardian hummed thoughtfully as she held the small collection of coins over the bag before depositing them in. "Ha~s anyone gone with he gets like absorbs some of the mighty red power of the crystal and we're like 'oh no!' and then he goes berserk and is just rampaging in the Dusk and we're like 'oh no!' again so then we have to like fight him in rapid succession in order to take him down?" There were sound effects and hand gestures and everything, "Because that sounds kind of awesome." Even if someone did, in went her money.
