The family that had taken him in quickly taught him the need to control and tamp down his emotions. As such, Teslaron bottles everything up, doing his best to show little more than a pleasant, welcoming exterior. While he acts quiet and cheerfully agreeable, his emotions rage, and he mentally contests anything everyone says. The buildup of stress and strain by keeping it all locked in has caused anything that usually creates a minor swell of emotion to hit him like an avalanche. What were once minor grievances have become massive injustices. On the other hand, things that once delighted him now make him ecstatic, and while he does repress rage and sorrow, he has no qualms about showing happiness and other positive emotions. Something about laughter being the best stress relief.
Due to the repression he must endure, Tes has an awful, yet necessary tendency to lash out at people who breach his tipping point. How is he supposed to grin and bear it if he can't taste sweet revenge every once in a while? Outright physical violence has been grievously frowned upon in the past, so Teslaron has taken to more subtle approaches. Perhaps a treasured toy goes lost forever, or a favored clothing article suddenly finds itself ruined, or important appointments go unvisited, or maybe he just spits in your food every chance he gets... He isn't even above poisoning if the situation demands it (and it has in the past). Of course, there are times when he has to pay for his "mistakes," but in the end, it's still worth it. These acts of revenge are considered to be 'lessons,' from great teacher Tes to whatever pupil has offended him.
Adults tend to be looked on with a little less respect. They are fully grown and should be able to take care of themselves. They should know what offends people and what does not. But the children, even the ones who are close to the same age as him (since they act ridiculously younger - must be the pampering), require his utmost care and attention. They are the future of the world (as his parents used to say), and so while children can be annoying, needy, and downright messy, they still require love to grow strong and fruitful. Anything they want, he tries to obtain. When someone else bullies them, he's there to stop it at great personal risk. When they need to be politely reminded (or not so politely, sometimes) that they aren't the c**k-of-the-walk, Tes is there for that as well. No matter what they've done to him or what he's done to them, his fellow kiddos are still top priority. Teslaron takes a great deal of pride in the children he helped raise, and will do so for his own future offspring, as well.
Confinement to the one household and limited interaction with people outside of his Oban masters leave him with something akin to a sense of wonder once freed out into the world. He's had no experience with the other races of earthling, and the become immediately fascinating and entertaining to him. As well as intriguing in a more physical sense. Despite having his beloved in the form of the Oban boy he grew up with, Tes finds that with more options presented, it is a tad difficult to be completely loyal. He can be pushy and arrogant when attempting to get what he wants, and has become increasingly promiscuous in his travels. Smugly chipper and cocky, Tes thinks he's nearly impossible to resist. Description: Prentice He's basically average in every way. Werymn's skin coloration is consistent with those of his race. The bottom of his face, the backs of his arms, his stomach, and the backs of his legs are all sky-blue in color. Everything else is a slightly darker blue, and he's smattered with aqua 'bubbles' along his nose, forehead, shoulders and calves. His ears are fin-like, and his eyes are golden with darker, horizontal pupils. His hair is black, straight, and parted down the middle. His bangs drop to his shoulders, but it tappers back to the nape of his neck. The tips of his bangs are a dark, swampy green. Collector Most of Tes has remained the same as it always has. His eyes, brows, face, lips and all as they were. Even his hair is styled the same. His bodily markings haven't changed. He's grown taller without getting any wider, and has adopted his own style of clothing, very dissimilar from that bestowed on him by his previous masters. Hoarder Teslaron retains his Matori coloring, as he will for his entire life. He's gotten a bit older and is developing the unnoticeably lean musculature of daily work. His bangs have grown out a bit more, and the tips of them continue to fade into a slightly brighter green. He's gotten his ears pierced three times in remembrance of his lost boyfriend (gold studs) and adorns himself in 'matching' gold pieces whenever he can afford it. Otherwise, he isn't afraid of a bit of cosmetics and tends to dress as minimally (and stylishly!) as possible for warm weather. Speech Color: #7EADC7 Theme Song: Neon - Casey Lee Williams

H I S T O R Y
As soon as Teslaron came of an age that he could easily manage day-to-day household chores, he was plucked from the Matori colonies and plopped in the care of a young family that was growing at an alarmingly quick rate. The family's current servant was an aged Water woman that was starting to slow in her elderly years. Tes was informed that he would assist her with her duties, as well as take on any other tasks the family of six might need doing. He was also bestowed with his new name, "Werymn," and instructed to cast out any feelings regarding his old home, for he could expect the entirety of his life to be devoted to his new family and Oba.
How they could hold a straight face while they informed a seven-year-old boy of this was a mystery to Teslar- Werymn. And not because of the work, or the multitude of things he suddenly wasn't allowed to do or say or think or look at. But because he missed his siblings. His mother and father had known they'd lose children to Oba (Wer believed they tried not to get attached to any of them too desperately), and so he didn't feel that close with them. On the other hand, he'd adored his brothers and sisters, both younger and older.
And this family had four children for him to adore; an eight-year-old boy, a seven-year-old boy, a four-year-old girl, and a two-year-old girl. While the two eldest sons tended to their studies, Wer aided the elderly servant in her cooking, cleaning, and (to his great delight) childcare duties. And when the boys weren't busy and Wer could spare a moment from his chores, he followed them in their play.
They didn't have a great start. The younger one in particular almost seemed to enjoy getting the foreign Water boy in trouble and watching him be punished for accidental blunders, wasting time, or whatever else their father could come up with. At least until he took ill for three full nights and Wer adamantly cared for him and saw to each and every one of his needs. And if no one ever found out that he was only sick because Wer slipped a few crumbles of dried basadivri root into his food, that was just fine for everyone.
As luck would have it, time wore on. The elderly Water woman saw her last day, bestowing the full force of her duties onto Werymn's eleven-year-old shoulders. Despite taking on full care of the home, he found time to spend with his former rival, and perhaps a feeling stronger than the average master-servant bond should be, started to develop...
At the war's end, Wer decided to take up his own path. He set out on a journey to find something interesting, new, and valuable that he could offer to Laric in return for his affections. In Jauhar, he stumbled upon a young mercenary name Dovev, who agreed to set out with him on a hunt for treasure. Their travels brought them through Juahar, Tale, and Suati. Nearly at the border of Zena, Wer opened a letter from Laric to rediscover his Matori name: Teslaron. While it will never feel quite right to him, he has chosen to adopt it in favor of his current name.
Months later, a second letter from the Oban front encourages Tes to abandon his Water guard and return to Oba immediately. The news is not great. In his absence, Laric engaged in a bar fight and passed on.
Tes takes the opportunity to spend his days drowning in booze until a Shifter woman, Dris'rynne, gives him something better to do.

Hybrids ❤Ming'we: A beautiful Alkidike/Wind woman, played by Heras Box. 'Our meeting was not an unsavory one, but I still know very little about this girl. She seems generally upbeat and chipper, but something must have driven her apart from her family, and she seems... saddened by that. But I suppose we all grow up and move on. She showed me the way to a merchant that should be a reliable source of supplies, and that's good enough to put her in my good graces, anyway. The world is vast, but perhaps we'll meet again.'
Familiars ❤Xeeta: A red and gold Xaraan that once belonged to Teslaron's masters. 'Xeeta has always taken a particular interest in me. I've spent more time with him than most of the others - feeding him and brushing him, so I expect he appreciates that. He was a family beast, but Laric sent him out to find me and return me to Oba. It's left Xeeta with some conflicted feelings. He keeps trying to return home, keeps coaxing me to join him. Soon, Xeeta. We have things we must accomplish first. He's a dependable companion and very useful on my trip. This xaraan is priceless.'
My NPCs ❤Diaeni: The first daughter of the Oban family that took Tes as their servant. She is three years his junior. Short Description: Strangely light skin for an Oban, with long, straight dark red hair and orange eyes. She is taller than her younger sister, but still shorter than Tes and her brothers. She has a full figure. 'Diaeni is a precious bundle of joy to be harmed by no one. She's the shyest of my new family's children and also seems to be the most well-behaved by nature. It's easy to appreciate her existence when dealing with the others. She's respectful, reserved, and overall easy to get along with. Although in our younger years, she held the type of superiority over her servants that comes with being Oban, she's adapted well to no longer having slaves.' ❤Eialyn: The elderly Water woman that was the Tes' family's first servant. She died soon after he came to them. Short Description: A wrinkled old woman with baggy jowls and a greying mop of short teal hair. Her coloration is typical of all Water Earthlings. In her age, she's become almost disgustingly skinny. 'We had only a few years together, but she taught me so much, aided and protected me when appropriate, and was more like a mother than my own. She was respected by the children and appreciated by their parents. I was sad to see her go, and so were the others of my new family. I can't say she lived a full life, but she probably lived better than most of our race.' ❤Laric: The second son of the Oban family that took Tes as their servant. He is the same age as Teslaron. Short Description: Dark, dark skin with short dreads pulled into a bun and red eyes. Tallest of the family, despite not being the oldest son. He is average otherwise. 'Laric was once a bane on my existence, but somehow in the time since then, he's become something more. Something so much better and more intimate, and I feel nothing short of a need to prove that I am worthy to him. He is a selfish, necessitous, immature child, but he has always been my charge. And I his servant. Until now. I plan to be more. I will be more. He already expresses enough interest in me that I feel comfortable in pursuing him more deeply. If that means leaving his side for a few moons to obtain the right to do so, then so be it.' ❤Neora: The second daughter of the Oban family that took Tes as their servant. She is five years his junior. Short Description: Smaller and rounder than her other siblings, she has dark brown skin, red eyes, and a tangled mop of frizzy brown hair. 'My youngest charge. As much as I hate to leave Laric's side, I almost regret leaving Neo's more. She's so young and always being bullied. No one respects her. She's such a mess. She's forgetful, impatient, and very trusting... Her siblings can be defensive of her, but I'm afraid that simply isn't enough. She needs me, and I feel awful for leaving her. But I must. I'm sorry, Neo. I'll come back for you soon.' ❤Oridan: The first son of the Oban family that took Tes as their servant. He is one year Teslaron's senior. Short Description: Taller, leaner, and with lighter skin than his two closest siblings, Oridan has dark red eyes, straight, short-cropped hair, and a perpetually bored expression. 'We aren't terribly close, but I feel he'll do a good job of keeping a lid on things in my absence. Oridan was neither particularly kind nor notably cruel to me. He seems to have a firm grasp on his place in the world. Enough so that he isn't much fun to be around. He is devoted to his family and strong-willed enough to not let much take hold of his emotions. I believe he'll flourish as much in my absence as he did in my presence. Hopefully he'll be capable of taking care of all his younger siblings.' ❤Salena: The mother of the Oban family that took Tes as their servant. Short Description: A short, plump woman with well-tanned skin and dark orange eyes. Her hair is long and braided. She has a decently pleasant demeanor, without appearing too approachable. 'I don't feel as strong a connection to her as I do her children, but she's never been particularly cruel to me. She is diligent, thoughtful, fair, and honest. I can respect that in others, even if I'm not so keen on complete honesty myself. She'll do fine without a servant, I'm sure, and she doesn't seem to bear a grudge against me or my kind. In fact, I believe she helped Laric discover my name... And didn't seem shocked or alarmed when I told her I would be leaving in search of something that would make me a suitable match for her son... For that, I am thankful.' ❤Thalyane: A Wind woman that Tes stole from while heading to Zena. She retaliated by stealing from him. Short Description: A short woman with a lean, fit figure. While she sports no apparent "assets," her thick lips and high cheekbones lend themselves to an air of beauty. She has a mop of tight cream curls and sky-blue irises. 'Despite our initial rocky start, Yane is... She's a woman worth respecting. I imagine she's only a couple years older than myself, but her time spent traveling the world has clearly done her mind good. Not so much her speech, as I do struggle to understand her, sometimes. But otherwise, I shouldn't mind running into her again. She is not overly haughty or indignant. She forgives with repentance. She is lacking in proper schooling, as I suspect most Tendajians are, but she has her own breed of intelligence. I do appreciate her company.' ❤Xaraan: The father of the Oban family that took Tes as their servant. Short Description: Taller and leaner than his wife, Xaraan has dark brown skin, deep red eyes, and otherwise rugged features. Keeps his head shaved due to frizzy hair. 'Xaraan is my least favorite member of the family. I find him unproductive, unfriendly, cold, and it doesn't help that he was always the one to execute punishments. I don't know why a woman like Salena would settle for him, because I certainly wouldn't have. Looking at him makes me angry, and with the war over, I can see plainly enough that he feels the same.I can hardly stand him at all, to be frank. But I know what I'm going to do with his son will infuriate him even more. Somehow it just sweetens the pot.'
