The blessing was something good and bad, with it came voices faint and distant. They seemed somehow familiar and yet not, they were comforting and troubling. With every voice, each snippet of a whisper she caught came another question without an answer. The tipping of the scales of knowledge made her worry.

Happiness flooded her, it felt good and she felt somehow stronger. Not physical strength but emotionally she felt the desire to connect with others. Nerrisa realized something in a moment of self reflection, as she was pondering questions and answers and how desperately she wished she could answer every question. She realized that she was somewhat selfish, vain, she wanted things for herself, wanted control of herself, to be more, to be better. She frowned slightly, the realization was not a very flattering one and so she tried to dismiss it, everyone wanted the best for themselves after all, didn't they?
