Task 2:
She slowly woke confused and disoriented by the bright whiteness that surrounded her. It was uncomfortable that white all around and she moved eagerly to her feet off a metal table. A shiver ran through her and she felt her heart give an unhappy pulse.
Shouldn't I get out of here?
Always questions, always the fear that there were no answers, but this time she answered herself.
Yes, she had to get out of this place, it felt wrong. She stepped out of the room and blinked at how white it all was. She looked back and frowned, the room with the table...the table was gone.
Did I imagine it?
Where did it go?
She turned away from the empty white room and walked at a steady pace until she saw an exit. She almost jumped at the thud but managed to only turn her head to look back instead. Nothing.
She walked onwards, THUD, she looked back again and her eyes went wide.
What is it?
What does it want?
Her eyes trailed down to the rusted scissors in the blackened hands.
It's dangerous. That was the only answer she needed before she turned and started to run. Her heart pulsed and slammed against her chest as she raced down the hall but between every frantic beat came the thudding of steps. She grabbed the door and realized it was locked.
Why?
She read the writing in red, passcode required.
What is the passcode?!
Another question she had no answer to...

Nerrisa noticed a paper to her left and blinked at the strange code written there. It didn't console her in the slightest it only made her more confused.
What was it?
Was it the passcode?
How did she read it?
She looked back and gave a panicked gasp as the black figure moved closer. She started to pound on the door in a fit of desperation.

She slammed her fists on the door calling out weakly while her heart pounded and flashed in yellow panic.
The figure spoke and she thrashed against the door the words confusing and taunting, but they didn't hit her, she had no memory of failure, only the fear of failing to escape now.
You'll never get out because you have no one to help you.
Anyone who would offer you help would only betray you.
You deserve to be betrayed for always turning your back on friends.
You're just a coward to want to save yourself, such a selfish coward.
A yellow hearted, selfish coward.
The taunting was awful, but mostly because it was confusing, mostly because it made her want more answers to questions she hadn't even figured out yet. Her head pounded like her heart with the desire to escape.

Her hands trembled, it was getting closer, it continued to taunt her, she didn't want to look back at it. She was afraid to look back and examine it anymore closely, afraid of the rusty scissors and what they might do. Snip, snip, and her control would be gone.
Why is everything so white?!
Why is it coming for me?!
Who is it?!
How do I get out?!?!
Her thoughts were a wild blur a panicked series of questions without answers and then a faint memory of someone standing and confessing their fears to someone they loved so dear. Was that her? Who was he? The panic at still having no answered swamped her.

The memory wavered as she drew panicked breaths, the room seemed to spin and blur, white and grey. Her frantic pounding on the door became sluggish for a moment as she clung to fear, memory, questions all at once. The pounding of her heart seemed to come faster and she struggled with the door.

You can't get out
You won't ever be free
You know you'll never escape me
Why?
She was frustrated and terrified by her need to question when she knew there were no answers. She thrashed against the door again and opened her mouth, but no sound came out something prevented her from screaming for help.

Why can't I scream for help?
How will I get out if I don't?
What's that?
She snatched up a stained red piece of paper and looked at the letters, like the letters...the numbers...the passcode! She fumbled frantic as her mind worked faster than her fingers were able.
0, 2, 4, 5 she stabbed the number pad viciously and as the doors opened she threw herself past them with a soundless cry.

She sucked in deep breaths, the sweet air of freedom and grey trees comforting after all that white. Nerrisa looked back once, once was all she needed to know...it was still following.
It taunted and she ran, it was dangerous, it wanted her heart, she wanted to keep her heart, she wanted to keep control.
She reached a rickety bridge and barely hesitated she HAD to cross it, had to escape that thing.
Nerrisa fled across the bridge and only dared look back at the sound of a sharp crack. She felt a moment of gratitude that the boards that fell had waited until she had passed. Hopefully the precarious gap would halt her pursuer. [30t]

She reached a dead end, a haunted house that made her tremble. She turned, it was still following. She looked down at the sudden bright red glow of the dagger in her hand.
Now or Never? ~
She realized there was a memory, sad, it wasn't an it, it was a he, and she and he had been something. Something so special, so special she shared her fears with him. Now he was her fear, she lifted the dagger to end him, but the black hand came out first, the scissors touched her. She felt the black hand on her face and suddenly control was gone. She couldn't move, she wasn't in control anymore.
Please No!
She didn't want to give up the control, didn't want this to end! She heard the voice cooing softly in a way that might have reassured her if she wasn't so terrified.
"Don't worry, It only hurts once."
She heard the thudding, but it wasn't the figure coming closer, it was as close as it had to be. Thud, thud, thud, thud...the panicked beat of her heart. She had barely had the control for any time at all and now it was being taken.
Snip!
She wished she could scream, wished she had a way to express the pain or inflict it equally on another.
Snip!
The pain was sharp and sudden and then just as suddenly gone.
She lay there soundless, motionless, the thudding went from strong and fast to slow and distant as her heart was taken.
Why?
Unfortunately she still had no answer.

Task 3: The music had her standing dazed for a moment, she flicked her hair through her dark hair and blinked at the soft strange white flakes that fell from above. She looked up and around confused and then enchanted as she walked making a soft crunch sound with each step. She glanced back at the imprints and smiled, yes she was here...she was in control...wasn't she?
She turned forward again and looked at the table and the jars on it. She shied away from the blue jar almost at once, she wanted nothing to do with the sadness and tension she felt from it. She touched her chest likely protective of her heart and picked up the pink jar.
Drink me.
The directions seemed simple enough, she slowly opened the jar and then quickly tipped back the contents. Her fingers fumbled on the jar as she was suddenly swamped by feelings. Such happiness, everything seemed wonderful, she felt so alive! She looked down at the spinning table now so beautifully set.
Was everything always this beautiful?
She might have asked herself why she was so happy, but she knew the answer, or at least she had an answer! Cake! Oh the cookie was there too, but it was so plain looking beside the frosted majesty of the cake. Eager to see if it tasted as delicious as it looked she took a bite.
So rich! So filling! One bite had her almost weeping with delight! Her heart seemed to thump in her chest, it was all so strong almost overwhelmingly so. She reached out to the cups and hesitated. Both were so beautiful, the golden one so ornate and fine looking, fit for a Queen...but the colorful cup covered in hearts was equally lovely. The choice was so hard unlike the simplicity of the pink jar or decadent cake. She closed her eyes and hastily snatched up a cup to drink, her fingers had landed on the colorful cup.
As she drank her heart fluttered...
Care...Peace...Love...and a memory, something special, so special she didn't understand how she could have ever forgotten it, because it was certainly her own. The bed was soft under her and there was music playing softly from the corner of the room, the hauntingly beautiful cello song that was made for her a song that drew her from her sleep. She slowly opened her eyes and lifted a hand with a faint yawn to brush back a strand of pink hair. She sat up slowly and looked over at the shadows where her raven played for her. Not so much a raven anymore with the magic disguise long since gone and months now since she had learned who he was as much as he had learned who she was. Now Rosc was more of a white phoenix but despite his soft white wings and blonde hair she loved him with all her heart. He had made her realize that now matter what someone looked like on the outside it was inside that counted. She was still trying to take the lesson fully to heart but years of demon elitist teachings were hard to dismiss. Rosc certainly didn't look like a traditional incubus, but he was delightfully frightful anyway.
She stood and smoothed her dress giving her long dark wings a stretch, they had grown so much but she was still too nervous about trying to use them to fly.
"You shouldn't have let me doze off like that I've been so busy and we were supposed to spend time together." She walked over and watched him entranced by the way his fingers continued to move and the music continued even as he held a conversation with her.
"You've been so busy Sin sometimes you just need to rest. We can still go for a moonlight picnic though my swan."
She was certain she would always feel that thrill of pleasure down her spine when he called her his swan. She would always know that he loved not just the facade she presented to the world but every flaw and fear that she held inside. With Rosc she had confessed feelings that she had never dared give voice to and some feelings that she hadn't known she had until she'd seen them pouring onto a page written for his eyes alone.
"Well I guess I can't be irritated that you care...I'll go change and grab the food." She kissed his cheek and tried not to feel sad as he ended her song.
~
They walked together and she glanced at him with an occasional smile, once it would have worried her how different they seemed like night and day. Rosc was pale and light like the day he dressed as he pleased and avoided social gatherings. She was dark as the night and tried to follow a traditional path, she dressed to impress in the latest fashions and richest materials, and she always threw herself into the thick of things if she could. Yet now none of those differences seemed to matter because they had survived and experienced so much together. She couldn't think of anyone who knew what was in her heart the way Rosc did. Love was a wonderful thing, she smiled at the thought of all the loving couples she knew and was glad for most of her friends.
"This looks like a good spot."
His voice interrupted her thoughts and she jerked to a stop.
"Distracted?"
She laughed and slowly sat down on the blanket he laid out. "A little, I was just thinking how much I love you, and how despite all that's happened how nice this moment is."
Before Rosc could respond Pantaloons and Ladyluv, her Unmentionable Minipets, swooped in chasing after Riley, Rosc's Foxsquirrel, and causing a commotion.
Slowly the memory faded out as the two demons in love played with their minipets and enjoyed a moonlit picnic in the graveyard.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Gold Description: Warm, Loving, Gentle, Sweet Your commentary on its flavour: This tea was a tea that Shasa could become accustomed to. It was light and fragrant, nearly sweet on her tongue, and the memory that it brought forth was much the same. Filled with gentleness and absolute adoration, it was a memory that Shasa enjoyed - and it was the first cup of tea that she actually finished. Such a loving memory, and it was one that Shasa quite enjoyed. She was reluctant to set the cup down once the tea was finished.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Goldenrod Description: Loving, Gentle, Happy. Your commentary on its flavour: Zanna could get used to the sensation from this particular tea. From the moment she took a sip, it was warm and comforting, warming her bones from head to toe. The two people in this memory clearly cared deeply for each other, and it brought (happy) tears to Zanna's eyes. She wished she could possess that feeling forever. It was ... so pleasant. This was one of the teas she was most upset to finally let leave her, wanting to stay in that warm, comforting sensation the two in love gave off forever. When the memory was over, though, she let out a pleasant sigh. Maybe there would be more like this.
