There was nothing, there was a spark, it was white and glowing softly with warmth. She was guided, she was surrounded, slowly encompased before little wisps seperated from her and floated away helping move her. She walked on and looking around slowly saw the beauty of where she had come, it was enchanting. A light mist floated near the ground swirling in a dance that made each step feel light. There was music, a soft humming in the distance that almost had her dancing along. More wisps appeared, they danced around with her leading her on.

The dance slowed as she noticed the trees, magnificent long and slender with silver branches reaching towards the heavens. They were bare, but they were still beautiful, uniform but no less majestic, she longed to see how much more lovely they would be if they were covered in foilage. She stopped as she reached one large silver tree, this one too was bare, but it seemed different.

Slowly she approached it, it was silent now, she reached towards it, it was warm and in need.

"At last, At last, someone has arrived to hear my tale. It has been so long, I have been silenced too long, taken and hidden, my power feared but not respected, cultivated until I am barren and empty. This is all that remains of my Legacy, but I am not finished, not yet. As long as my powers remain, my children will prosper after me. They will take up my mantle, to protect, to serve, to remember, and to grieve. Men like the Great King will rise again, and fall just as easily, but I only wish to serve. Come now. Help me fulfill my last desire." The voice came from the silver tree itself, and she felt her heart tighten, it was so sad, she felt for it.

Slowly she nodded, she did not need words, she would help and her actions would speak for her.

She walked through the forest until it cleared and she reached a lake, she drew a quick surprised breath, it was magnificent. The light of a thousand gentle glowing orbs moved in a slow dance over the waters surface making it appear pure white. She could see the silver trees in the distance like sentinels, lake guardians. The water called to her, it was a soft singing sound that had her slowly approaching. Frightened of disturbing the waters, but needing to be nearer, needing to hear she knelt by the edge.

Slowly she dipped her head down, her hair brushed the surface of the water, she bent more, soon her head was in the waters and she heard it. A voice so remorseful, and yet so lovely.

"Heal my children," it chimed, "And when you do I will give you a gift of immeasurable value. That is my only wish and my only desire. Take these waters and carry them to my children."

The orbs moved around her, they drew her from the water, she didn't mind the way her hair dripped a little. She had an important task, she looked around for something to carry the water with, but there was nothing. Left without much choice she slowly dipped her cupped hands into the lake and then stood with care.

Moving as gentle as possible she followed the orbs to the great silver tree and carefully knelt to pour the water on it's roots. She looked up as the tree shivered and then from a branch above a single acorn spawned and fell.

She dove forward her hands still cupped and slightly damp and caught the acorn that fell before her. It was fairly sized and she looked up watching sadly as the tree suddenly shuddered again and then withered. She heard a soft small 'thank you' and then the orbs returned.

The orbs guided her and she carried the acorn with care after them. They took her back to the lake, it was humming that soft musical hum again and she knew she needed to hear, to listen. She brushed back a strand of hair and looked down at the acorn worried about submerging it in the waters. Finally she dipped herself in, slowly her legs slipped under the surface, her thighs, her stomach, and soon she was neck deep. She slipped in the last bit her hands held the acorn to her heart as the water surrounded her, and the voice spoke.

"My children need time to grow, to move on from my Grief. Help them create their own Legacy and feed them each unique memories."

Her eyes were open under the water, slowly she saw a shadowy form it moved and became deep dark blue bubbles, the bubbles were almost her size. She reached out to one realizing this was what her acorn needed...

In a city struck by the depression and ruled over by the rich and powerful members of the Mafia...

It was late and I was about to lock the door and call it a day, another day another dime, but not really. Things were bad all around for everyone, that's why I'd started pushing myself towards new clients, clients who had the cash and muscle to back me up instead of drag me down. I lit up a cigarette and took a nice deep drag, it wasn't really what I wanted, the smoke usually just irritated me, but right now I knew I wasn't gonna get any gin. I used to keep some in the desk, but I had too many coppers comin' in and out of the office hasslin' me just cause I'm a dame in a boys business. Luckily for me the boys I did most of my business with could care less as long as I got their jobs done.

I was just debating headin' down to a little speakeasy I knew when he walked in the door. He was tall, but the first thing I noticed was the patch, it covered his left eye and made the vivid blue of his right eye even more startling. I could tell right away he was gonna be trouble, you can always tell a man who's gonna cause you heartache. He had blonde hair swept back and tied into a short tail at the nape of his neck, and carried a silver topped walking stick like some rich old aristocrat, but he wasn't old at all. I could tell under his expensive suit he had muscle, and I would also tell he was surprised to find me, a woman, sitting behind the desk. How many men and women had come through that door 'Err Private Eye' expecting to see a man only to be shocked, disappointed, or both by me. The surprise wore off quick for him though and soon I could tell that beautiful blue eye was looking me up and down.

I obliged him by slowly standing and coming around to the front of my desk. I put the cigarette down in the ashtray and blew out a little ring of smoke.

"How can I be of service handsome?"

Flattery worked well with my male clients, and sympathy worked best with my female clients, and I knew how to work anyone over pretty well. He was looking at my legs now and probably wondering if I wasn't just some over confident secretary.

"Mrs Err?"

"It's Miss, and please call me Sin, you obviously didn't walk in here just to stand hat in hand, have a seat."

I walked back around my desk letting him get a good long look at my gorgeous gams, oh that wasn't conceit, I'd been told I had legs 'to die for' by quite a few guys...usually right before they ended up in the slammer thanks to my use of those legs. I sat down and steepled my fingers waiting for him to make his move, state his business, or leave. As much as I had a feeling that the latter would be best for me I hoped he wouldn't go.

"Hmm, Miss Sin Err...thank you." He sat down and set the walking stick over his lap, his long fingers caressed the silver top. I pulled my eyes from his fingers, from those hands, and reined in my imagination. "My name is Rosciel Demonae and I've heard from some...contacts of mine that you can solve just about any case."

"You heard right, I've only got one unsolved case on the books, and that is because my key witness to confirm my suspicion tossed himself off a bridge before I could get him to sign a statement...so it's near 100% in my eyes." I was still pissed that it wasn't 100% on paper.

"I need you to find whoever is responsible for the death of my wife." He said it so calmly that I found myself shocked to the core. I hadn't pegged him for the married sort, and he didn't seem grief stricken either. I glanced at those hands again, that finger, ring-less. My eyes narrowed on him.

"Oh? What's wrong, the police haven't got a clue as usual? No suspects? No lover to investigate?" I knew I was being hard on him, but I guess I was miffed that he had looked me over while coming in to ask me for help finding his wife's killer.

"Oh they haven't any clues, but they do have a suspect...me. In lieu of any actual evidence and without proof of my wife's infidelities I'm afraid they've decided it would be easiest to just pin this on me." He didn't sound too worried about it, he probably had the dough to keep himself out of any trouble, so why bother coming to me?

"Do you suspect your wife was unfaithful?"

"I know she was, but I would hardly call it unfaithful, we were both from very well to do families, good names..." It hit me then, he was THE Demonae, of the Demonae family that owned half this town, most of the oil, and just about every shipping vessel in the harbor. Which meant his wife was the very prominent socialite Rosanna Demonae...recently found dead in her mansion. I snapped back to what he was saying, this was big. "...and so we decided to form a partnership, a marriage of convenience if you will. I've been busy with business especially with the hard times that have struck so many of our acquaintances and friends. I told her she was free to take a lover if she needed to, and she knew I was free to find whoever interested me. It suited us both, the combination of our fortunes and properties is what has kept us atop after everything that's happened."

Suddenly I knew what else had kept him atop of the hardship that had hit others. His contacts, the ones who had referred him to me were mobsters, and this I knew because they were my best clientele. "So she had her fun, and did you have yours, any ladies who might have held a grudge after you told them they were just for kicks? Maybe one of 'em got it in her head to off your old lady for a chance at becoming the next rich and powerful wife of Rosciel Demonae?"

He grinned and shook his head, I tried to ignore the way my pulse fluttered. "I'm afraid the case won't be that easy to solve Miss Err, I never took a lover you see, I just haven't found a woman who inspires that level of desire in me yet."

I eyed him again wondering if he wasn't one of those types who preferred a good lookin' fella over a pretty lady. "Before you get any odd notions I find the female form rather inspiring, I just dislike the idea of using a woman so blatantly. I do have a certain reputation and I know my wife had a certain image, there was no real need to destroy either and no matter how discreet I might have been you know someone can always find out."

Oh boy did I ever know...

"Besides as I said before I'm usually occupied by my business ventures, being alone suited me well enough."

"Well Mr Demonae, I'll take your case, I just want honesty from you it'll make my investigation go much smoother. I'll be by your home tomorrow morning, I assume the cops have already left, it's been a day..."

"Actually everything is exactly as the maid found it, I requested that the police not tamper too much after I realized they were looking at me as a suspect. They will need to collect the evidence and everything will need to be cleaned though...if you could come tonight?"

I frowned, it was late, I wanted a drink, but I knew this was big, big money, and if I solved this I could rub it in the police chiefs face. "Let's go." I stood and grabbed my notepad.

The ride was fancy, but then what else would you expect, when we pulled up to the mansion I couldn't help but think that no matter how fancy the digs bad s**t still happened.

"Maid found her?" I looked at him wondering if he wasn't more disturbed by his wife's death then he let on. Surely even if they had just married for power and prestige they had shared some friendship?

"Yes, and she screamed, alerted our butler who in turn called me right away. I came just before the police arrived. They think it must have been only an hour or so before...but they were...spooked by the scene."

"Oh?" I looked at him for further details, but he gave me none, instead the chauffeur opened the door and I slid out. I followed Rosciel in and through the lavish entryway, a marble floored hallway, the foyer, and up a grand staircase where my heels ceased to click thanks to the thick red carpet covering it.

He led me down the left hall, the decor became slowly more feminine, the walls changed to a paler color, I wondered if the right hall led to a more masculine area. Finally he opened a set of double doors and I started to examine everything much more thoroughly. I saw right away the scene, but it was wrong somehow and it took me a second to realize why, no blood.

I was also surprised that the body was still there, but it was no wonder Rosciel had wanted me to come tonight. He must have pulled some big strings to get them to leave things alone, and to leave him alone with the scene if he was a suspect. Idiot cops were probably hoping he would touch something so they could pin him. I moved closer, Rosanna Demonae was a gorgeous woman, the type who pampered herself her whole life. Even dead she was pretty, the only reason I knew she was dead was the way she was slumped over the vanity, eyes open and glassy. Then I saw it, the gash across her neck, the skin cut cleanly in three long deep furrows, like claws. No blood, there was no blood on her neck, on her chest, on the vanity, or the floor. It was downright unnatural.

I was trying to wrap my head around what had happened, but as I wrote my thoughts, my suspicions, my observations there was a niggling sense of something wrong beyond the murder....

She left the memory, the mystery unsolved and touched another deep blue bubble...

One hand held the acorn close to her heart as she fed it the first shadowy grey memory, a memory of a sad cold time and a mystery beyond her abilities. The other hand reached for the next bubble and touching the deep blue she was pulled into a different memory...

In the halls of Sweet Valley Highschool ...

Sin was outside the locker room, today was the big meet and she was excited and worried. She wanted that gold medal, needed it, she knew she was fast, she'd practiced day and night for it. Her parents had added an infinity pool to the mansions already impressive grounds, but no amount of money could get her the win she wanted today, a win that only she herself could earn. She wanted to earn it badly, popularity at Sweet Valley High was easy to come by for a girl who was rich and beautiful, but it didn't give her any sense of real self worth. Winning a swim meet for her school, now that would make her happy.

She smiled as her boyfriend jogged over to her, it was cliche in a way, but Rosc was the real deal for her. Her parents hated it of course, to them he was just a rebel idiot who didn't have the decency to take off his sunglasses indoors and had the audacity to pull up to their home on a motorcycle with frayed jeans. Sin loved him, frayed jeans and all, it surprised her, she'd always thought she and the football captain would have made the perfect match, but when she looked at other guys, guys who matched her popularity it didn't' feel right.

"Good luck my little mermaid" He ducked in and kissed her hugging her tight a moment before letting go.

Sin stuck her tongue out, what a nickname, but inside she grinned, she was way faster than Ariel. "Thanks, see you after..."

"Relax you're going to win, just don't forget it."

"Yeah...right..." She took a deep breath and then hurried into the locker room. She stripped down and double checked her legs for any sign of stubble, but considering she'd just had a full waxing done the day before there was nothing. She quickly wriggled into her swimsuit and started to put her hair up, really she ought to cut it but she couldn't bring herself to. She tucked each strand under her swim cap and then grabbed another to go over that.

"You ready Sin? This is it!" She looked over and nodded at her friend trying to keep the butterflies in her stomach from turning to nausea.

"Oh yeah, we are going to kick True High Tiger Tail!" Her voice was confident, the smile flawless, she knew how to mask her real emotions well, only Rosc had known how nervous she was. She finished getting ready and then walked over to the rest of her teammates and the coach.

"Okay Seagulls we're gonna go out there and you are each going to push yourself because this is it, you do this and your champions! Sin, Hiedi, Veronica, this is your chance at the gold you have the speed so just do it!"

Three names, but only one of them would get the gold today, they were the three fastest team members, a team, but also one anothers competition. Sin stopped her friends and offered them a gentle touch on the shoulder.

"Hey, good luck guys, no matter which of us wins it'll be for the school." Her words were semi-sincere she wanted the medal for the school, but she seriously hoped she was the one to bring it.

"GO SEAGULLS!" She cheered with the other girls and then they walked out of the locker room.

The smell of chlorine struck her at once comforting, familiar, like home. She glanced at the stands and smiled at Rosc, he blew her a kiss, it was a comfort because she didn't see her parents there...they were probably busy.

She lined up in her lane, moved onto the platform, waited for the start...

Then suddenly they were off and she was in the water streaking past someone. She moved her arms, her legs, everything in synchronization. One lap, Two laps, Three laps, and the Final one...she wasn't keeping track of the others she only knew this was it, she had to put on all the speed she could.

Her heart pounded, her muscles burned but she pushed herself, her body strained to make itself longer. She was fast, she was so fast, but others were just behind her like a chase, a chase was just a race, she had to win...her lungs burned...

She left the memory wondering if she'd won or not and slowly gave it to the acorn, it seemed to grow a little.

She reached out again towards another deep blue bubble, towards another memory eager to give the growing acorn more.

In the dark cages below The Arena...

Being tired, hungry, sore, afraid, these were common in the pit and Sin had felt every emotion but hope since she'd started her Arena fights. She leaned back against the wall, she didn't tug at her steel collar or the chains the way others did, that was futile. Instead she slowly combed her fingers through her black locks, they would be greasy, but blood kept them somewhat stiff. She braided her mane and tied it off with a scrap of leather her usual routine after an Arena match, after she'd murdered another like herself. Slowly she turned her face up towards a tiny pinprick of light that cast it's glow mockingly on the caged slaves below the Arena, sometimes blood from a match dripped into the hole and blocked the light until things were sprayed down. Other huddled in the shadows, but she stared at the light, not because it gave her hope, but because she'd learned that if she stared at it her eyes didn't burn as badly when she was taken up to The Arena for her match. Usually her opponent had a moment of blindness, eyes unused to the light, and she had managed quite a few quick wins that way.

She rubbed her shoulder slowly and squeezed at a puckered gash, her pale skin had numerous scars most raised and brutal looking because she'd had to do all sorts of things to keep from dying of infection. Today she squeezed the healing injury tight until the pain made her vision spot and she feared she would pass out. When there was no more puss and only clean blood dribbled from the wound she stopped and hissed softly. She moved to her water bowl and dabbed the spot to clean it a bit before she gave her bloody hands a quick wetting and then drank the rest. The coppery mix of blood and water slid easily down her throat, tasting blood was something that any veteran was used to. A veteran was anyone who had survived more than twenty Arena matches.

Sin knew the other nine veterans by heart and of those she knew the only other two who had as many or more matches then she had. Lorie, Derrick, Heath, Ophelia, Gregory, and Adam had survived 23, 36, 37, 72, 88, and 90 matches respectively. Quinn and John both matched her with 98 kills it was surprising, but she knew today Quinn had been matched to fight John, she had seen it on The Arena board as she was led away from her victory. Victory always tasted like defeat in Th Arena, she wondered in the death one faced upon defeat tasted like victory.

Rosciel had survived nearly 200 Arena matches, the crowds screamed his name, screamed he was invincible. No one was invincible, but they liked to have him, their pet for publicity. Rosciel was in the cage next to hers usually, but right now he was headed to a match. The worry that he wouldn't come back was always present when he was gone, but she couldn't afford to dwell. Rosciel had taught her that, he had taught her everything, he was the reason she was still alive.

She licked her bloody lips to keep them from cracking and picked up her food bowl. Slowly she ate savoring each morsel, every crumb of the stale bread, every bite of the chunk of charred meat. She ate the fat and sucked the marrow from the bones, picky eaters never made it to veteran status. Gnawing hunger was constant even after a meal, it was never quite enough, some supplemented through thievery snatching food from neighboring cages when they could. When she saw the young ones kill each other through the bars of their cages over a scrap of meat she felt disgust, every time, no matter how often she saw it.

Yet, she might have been like them, but she'd been put next to Rosciel from the start and when she'd slipped her skinny wrist through the bars of his cage he'd grabbed her hand. She'd been terrified and tried to pull away, but instead of punishment he'd pried open her fingers and forced a chunk of bread into her hand.

"Have dignity, because no matter how much food you steal, how strong you think you can make yourself, you will still die."

His words had made her feel ashamed of herself, especially coming from him, the one they claimed couldn't die, the longest survivor. The next five days she'd given him a portion of her food until he'd stopped accepting it and then gave all five days worth back to her and told her she needed it. It was the first lesson, he'd taught her to accustom herself to what she got, because more or less were only going to hurt her. She'd learned that lesson and every lesson that came after.

She looked up pulled from the memory as they hustled Rosciel back into his cage, his collar clicked shut with a simple snapping sound. She stayed silent while they filled his water bowl and tossed his food into another bowl and when they were gone she stayed quiet. Months ago she would have spoken right away, asked questions, asked if he was alright, now she knew to wait. He needed time to gather his thoughts, time to come to terms with what he'd survived...again. She understood that now, or at least half of it, the first fifty or so kills made you feel like you were powerful, but after that came the deep pain in your heart because you finally realized where the true power was and it was so far beyond you.

"I saw tomorrow's matches posted."
His voice was soft, it soothed her.

She scooted closer to the bars where her cage was pressed beside his. "Anymore veterans?" She wondered if it would be Quinn or John who returned, or perhaps neither sometimes injuries became death after the crowds had cheered and all was said and done.

"It's hard, I've often wished that of all the things I'd like more than food or a soft bed, more than greater strength or more speed...I'd like if they could just take the emotion away..." She frowned and tilted her head, where had that come from?

"You meditate, you said you've found a way to gather your emotions and keep them from distracting you during the fight. You even taught me, it's why I'm still alive...so why would that matter now? Was...was today's match close?" She wondered if he'd heard the whisper of death, if she'd come closer to losing him then ever before, her heart squeezed painfully in her chest.

"No...it wasn't close." His voice sounded so...sad...she was used to a calm even tone from him.

"Rosciel?" She slowly reached her hand through the bars to touch him. He set his fingers on hers and slowly their fingers twined together locked tight.

They stayed like that for a long time, she didn't move, she didn't want to move, she liked the feeling. She wanted to open her mouth, to tell him how special he was to her, how much she worried when he was taken that he wouldn't come back, how much she...loved him.

He looked at her then, his piercing blue eyes pinning her as if he had heard her thought. The deep scar that ran from his forehead to his lower jaw across his eye was starkly pale. "Sin...I love you."

She felt it then, for the first time, the way hope blossomed in her chest, it felt warm, she felt full, all the comforts that she had never experienced were in that small phrase. Her eyes shimmered with tears and she kept her grip tight on his hand, love made her alive.

"and tomorrow is your 99th match...tomorrow you fight me."

Just like that, a punch right to her gut, all the hope was sucked out of her body...

She pulled herself from the memory shuddering, it was awful, she didn't know if she hoped she'd survived or not. Hastily she moved to reach for another needing to banish this memory...
PostPosted: Fri Aug 23, 2013 2:06 pm

She gave each memory to the acorn and watched it slowly grow, slowly unfurl, it was becoming something more. She reached out but this time she brushed at several bubbles. She was suddenly thrown into a swirl as flashed, snippets of various memories hit her.

In an Apocalyptic world...

"Well I don't know what you propose we do?! I refuse to go out there and die like a pitiful human just because we cannot organize this resistance into more!"

"With the humans being decimated and our sources for Fear dwindling we haven't much choice Sin. The horsemen rule here and those who obey them are left well enough alone, those who resist..."

"You think we should abandon the resistance?"

"Why resist them? They want the hunters they can have at them, you have no love for them yourself."

"True I enjoy seeing the hunters become the hunted, but once they have eliminated all of them what's to stop them from turning on us?"

She was afraid, afraid because she disliked having to bow and scrape before the horsemen while the Fear slipped away weakening her and the other demons. She'd been forced to accept ghosts, undead, monsters, and reapers into the resistance and her demon elders had told her to be civil, now was not the time to squabble over race, they faced a more serious threat.

There was the sudden sound of hooves and they all froze, they knew what the thunder of hooves meant, and this close to the Resistance headquarters it couldn't be-

In a world of Insanity...

Be? What was to be? Was she? Oh no, the thoughts, the voices, she swirled away from them, bat wings, spikes, nothing, something. She heard the queens and tried to make herself nothing, but she was always nothing, always something, always resisting, always obeying. She swirled out a solid shape for a second and then nothing again. She followed the other, she was the others, she was nothing, she was something...

In the Wild Wild West...

Something nasty was coming to town and Sin didn't like it one little bit. Trouble tended to come right to the Saloon and she had worked hard for her Saloon, worked hard to keep it orderly, she hated trouble. To top it off it was usually The Sheriff who dealt with trouble, and that was a dangerous job. She usually wouldn't have minded one bit if a man wanted to go out and face danger, bring justice,or call another man out, but she minded when it came to Sheriff Rosc because she loved that man more than he loved her peach preserves.

"Now Rosc you aren't really going to go out there and waste your breath warning those nasty dogs to behave themselves are you?" She frowned as she finished drying the last glass and leaned over the counter.

"Now Sin don't you know better then to ask a barber if ya need a haircut? Don't bother askin the sherrif if he's gonna do his job, and don't bother worrying it's like sitting on a rockin' horse it's something to sit on but it won't get ya anywhere."
He grinned and tipped his hat leaned in to kiss her and then turned and walked out.

"Men I swear they haven't a lick o' sense..."

In the Scarefari...

Sensible would have been staying away from such an obvious trap, but Sin was hardly what one would call a sensible minipet. Now she was thrashing and leaping as she tried to get out of this hole. She couldn't spread her wings wide enough to fly out so she was climbing up and wriggling towards freedom.

She gasped happily and chattered as she finally flopped outside and onto the ground. She stretched her wings, she glanced back at the trap and hissed before spreading her wings and flying off.

In the Great Hall of Pigfarts...

Off came her hairband, she didn't want anything in the way of the sorting hat, she was terrified. It was her first year at Pigfarts and she was going to study hard, do well, and hopefully become the greatest wizard of all time...as long as she didn't end up in Serpentarius.

"Sin Err" She gasped as her name was called and hurried over to sit down. The hat was drpped on her head and she closed her eyes waiting.

She heard a voice in her head it seemed to be examining her...

Hmmmm...studious enough to be a Capricorn but what's this? More passionate about your lineage, places a lot of stock in good and bad blood eh? Self serving, a bit vain, you'd never throw yourself in the line of fire to save anyone else would you?

She would so! She just...couldn't think of anyone worth doing so for...

"Serpentarius!" The hat called out and she felt a shock.

"Move along Sin-"

In a chatroom for This is Halloween the MMO...

Sin Err: So what do you think of the new demon ability I unlocked, pretty cool huh? I think it's going to help a lot in PvP against the Hunters.

Rosciel: Yeah we just need to recruit more people into the demon guild before we raid their HQ. Will you be on tomorrow?

Sin Err: Yeah after work I'll hop on and we can do some dungeons together, we make a really great team! Between your healing and my melee all we need is someone who can handle the ranged stuff.

Rosciel: Maybe I can get a few abilities from the illusion tree and that can help keep mobs distracted.

Sin Err: Yeah that could work! I have to brush up on RPing Sin more though, I feel like she's a little too bitchy.

Rosciel: I can help, we can RP her and Rosc together maybe having a love interest will soften her up a little?

Sin Err: You mean play them as a couple? Would you mind that? It's not like creepy or anything?

Rosciel: No, not at all, the stuff we see being RPed at the HalloweenTown Inn now that is creepy.

Sin Err: Well they shouldn't have a /sleep emote that lets people lay down on the beds and stuff together and RP the nasty. I mean really some stuff being RPed is way beyond the PG-13 this game is supposed to be!

Rosciel: LOL

Sin Err: I gtg and make myself some dinner or I'll end up grinding all night and forgetting to eat. TTYL!

In a Zodiac ruled world...

Finally, it was her sixteenth birthday and the time had come to summon her creature. She was excited, nervous, and eager to see what creature would represent her. She lifted her hands and closed her eyes ready.

Suddenly there was a soft music, the room darkened, her body glowed. Her heart pulsed once, twice, three times and a shape began to emerge from her chest. The shape swirled and freed itself from her body, it circled her once, twice, and then everything faded back to normal but in her hands was a little bat.

She came up out of the lake with a little gasp and felt each memory cling to her. She pushed them towards the acorn...now a sapling held against her heart. She felt something, a small burst of anticipation, it was growing, she slowly smiled.

Sin looked at the sapling, no it was more than just a little sapling now, it was a delicate tree. She knelt by it and smiled, "I did it..."

"Not quite," whispered a voice, she blinked and slowly stood turning and moving back towards the lake, but the lake was different.

There was a castle in the distance, far off and beautiful she watched the waters pour from the castle down, down, in falls, down rocks and in tiers and layers.

"Take some of this water, and my blessing. This is my last request. Show my children your world so they will grow each unique and different."

She looked down, so many pools reflecting back at her, each one different. She hesitated trying to decide. She ignored the dark pool, the empty pool, and the cold pool they held no draw for her and instead she looked between the light and warm pools. At last the warm pool won out, she longed for that warmth, longed to feel it in her heart, but instead of drinking it herself she scooped it in her hands and carried it back to her little tree.

With the same care she had shown before she poured the warm waters onto the roots of the tree. Warm memories came to her memories of care and comfort, and her tee...her tree was spectacular!

There were bright wisps floating around it and she heard a voice. "Are you satisfied with what I have become?"

She slowly smiled and touched the tree lightly. "More than satisfied."
