Personality: Voreti'Riay is a mare who will give nothing away easily. She adores keeping an air of mystery about herself. To this endeavor, she lives in places that give second thought to anyone weak of heart. Her favorite place is a dark, misty forest. Despite living in the forest, the dark mare loves pretty plants. Often Voreti will bring them home to put into her stable. Flowers and fragrant plants line her home.
The young mare despises most other Azrein. She is perfectly happy to be living alone. Voreti tolerates stallions slightly better than mares. Make no mistake though. She will fiercely defend what she considers her territory, if she thinks anyone has entered too far.
History: Voreti'Riay, like many young foals, was born to a decent sized herd. She enjoyed endless days of romping and playing with her fellows. As the young fillies and colts got older, they were taught as tradition determined. Colts received combat training; fillies lead more docile lives in finding food, water, and families. Voreti wanted to learn with the young stallions and that was severely frowned upon. When she showed up for lessons, she was punished and sent home.
One of her stallion friends, seeing her disappointment and dejection secretly offered to train her though he knew it was against the rules. He did it because he liked her. At night the two would slip away; he would teach her, and then they would spar. Voreti quickly learned the basic moves of combat.
Then one day in her second year, strangers came calling. They said they wanted to join. She thought to her alone that something seemed wrong; her stallion friend, she found out, agreed with her. Together one night the pair stalked the newcomers. They quickly discovered the evil plot. Racing back to the head stallion and mare, Voreti tried to warn them the newcomers meant ruin. She did her best to convince the pair to drive them away.
The head stallion and mare listened. Taking note that it was Voreti, not the stallion with her, who was speaking the most. They looked into his eyes and knew the truth. He had broken code to teach Voreti. That night she was banished from her herd. Beaten, then driven off the herd lands. She never found out what happened to her stallion friend, or her herd.
Countless days passed. Voreti wandered. Eventually she reached the forests she currently calls home. Since her arrival, she has been etching out her territory in the woods.
~Plot-Os~1. Blast From The Past- Voreti's stallion friend finds his way to her forest home. What happened to him and the herd after she was banished? Do they remain friends or become something more?(May result in a fling.) {To be filled by a Dark x Deception stallion when one is obtained.}
2. Odd Jobs- Azrein from either side show up and ask her to do the odd job or two. They may need to convince (or bribe) her to do it for them.
3. Are You My Mommy- Blankets or Foals for Voreti to adopt. They will be driven out at adulthood.
