Here's how the stat-rolling goes: you add 2 points for every 5% on your stat So, if you have to roll between 20-30, and the minimum number you have to roll to pass is 25, and say you roll a 2o. if you have 15% in the stat you're rolling for, that's 6 points to add to the 2o you rolled. I know it's tricky, but I'll help you guys out. x]

I think I get it. We need to roll between 20 and 30 correct? Then for ever 5% in that stat, you add a point. >.>

It's the dry season, and a raging wildfire is sweeping across the plains, threatening to consume half of the island in its anger. It seems as if a Herd of Azrein aligned with the King is in dire need of help; they are caught within the maw of the fire, and can't find a way out.
Will you shove aside your indifference and aid your kin?Randomize a number between 2o-25 for Intelligence. Each of you must decide if you wish the aid the Azrein the the path of the flames. If you choose to do so, what is the plan your Azrein comes up with? For each 5% on your Intelligence stat, add +2 points to your roll. EDIT: Sorry! the minimum number you need to advance is 22.

Steelmind looked out over the plains, scared. He was usually a forest-dweller, still young enough that he stayed with his parents. Recently he'd begun branching out and wandering though, despite some well-meaning warnings from other Azrein. He knew what they meant now... He'd never seen a fire, and knew it would probably be worse if it hit his home of trees, but this would probably give him nightmares for the rest of his life. A wall of fire, sweeping a small group of Azrein towards him. He racked his mind, trying to think of some way to help them, and himself. Wait! Sandar Lake was huge, and fed several rivers that stretched all the way down into Dark Territory. He knew a tiny off-shoot from exploring, maybe too small to save them but it would buy them time! Especially if the wind didn't start blowing the fire right at them instead of to the east, but he couldn't rely on that. "This way," he shouted, bellowing as loud as his tiny lungs allowed and pawing at the air so the could see him better. 21 + 6(?) = 27

Voreti sweated in the heat. It had felt oppressive before, but now it felt sweltering. She had left her cool forest for a long drink from the watering hole on the plains. The smell of smoke reached her nostrils before she heard the crackling as flames consumed the lands. The black mare lifted her head and pawed. It wouldn't be safe to stick around here much longer.
She turned, flicking her tail, to retreat to her forest when the cries of desperation caught her attention. Turning back Voreti saw a herd of Azrein trapped within the flames. What a pickle they are in. Must not have gotten out of the way in time. She was just about to leave when she noticed the foals within the group. The mare gnashed her teeth.
She headed toward the inferno against her better judgement. There seemed to be no obvious way for them to escape.
(23+2=25)

Hush had seen her fair share of fires, being one always in tune with nature, but it seemed as if this fire was nothing like she had ever seen before. Flicking her tail and narrowing her eyes, she gazed into the flickering flames, spotting a herd of Azrein trapped in the middle. Black ears flattened against her head in dismay as she left out a whinny.
She had to help them, at least some how. Maybe with help from the other horses around, they could lead the Azren safely out of the fire. Hush knew this land well. Maybe not enough to boast, but pretty darn well. Gathering up her courage, she trotted closer to the fire, dodging its wild flames. The heat beat against her skin like a harsh wind and the smoke chocked her up, but she pushed forward. "Fear not, I'll help find a way out for you all!"
