Taw Taronyo Hmm Seze was gone... Not in the trees, not in the field...gone. Perhaps she had snuck off for some time to herself. Taw shook out his wings and began to preen happily. He was toruk he was awesome and she would return...they were in love. In the mean time there was grooming to be done. He combed his teeth through his body, paying special attention to his wings. After that he began to graze lightly. He chose the best and sweetest grass. He refused to eat the dead dry crap unless he had too. Blegh.

 Dayturn was looking for something to do. It'd been awhile since he'd been able to make someone smile. The first azrein or person he came across would be in trouble. He trotted through some long grass and debated having a snack. No, it could wait awhile longer.
Just as he started regretting not stopping and having a bit, a colorful something caught his eyes. Oooooh what was this? Eagerly he came forward. "Hello there?"

Taw's head popped up out of the grass he was nibbling on. Ooh a visitor, how interesting.
"Hello there," he called. Well the day had just gotten brighter. Taw smiled at the sun colored newcomer, liking him immediately, which was...unusual for him. He tilted his head at the other. "How is your day neighbor?" He asked politely. "My name is Taw Taronyo or Sky Hunter in your language, feel free to call me either." He walked over to Dayturn and nodded his head.

Dayturn brightened and grinned at the winged stallion for his warm welcome. He must be having a good day, or if not, Dayturn just made it better. The gold stallion had to admire the colors that wrapped around him. And those stripes!
"Most excellent a day. Thank you for asking. It's a pleasure to meet you Sky Hunter. Would it be alright if I called you Taw? I'm Dayturn. Here to turn a cloudy day around." He grinned. "Anything I can do to make your day brighter?"

"Yes you may call me Taw. Your presence in the absence of my mate has already made my day brighter. I'm not sure where she fluttered off too." He glanced at the sky half expecting his green ikran to be floating on a thermal high in the air.
"Don't get me wrong she can take care of herself but she is rather small....And I do so ever enjoy her company." He pawed the ground a bit. "However I have you to talk to for the moment and since I havent met you before and you seem to be the cheerful sort, I am glad you are here."

Dayturn nodded. He was pleased that he had helped. When he heard the mare was missing, his ears perked up. He was about to ask if Taw wanted to him to help look for mare, until Taw said she could look after herself. Oh, well there went that idea.
"Alright. what would you like to talk about? You're colors are absolutely stunning if you don't mind my saying so."

"Why thank you, I am rather proud of them myself. Yours are also very nice I love that twisty thing on your shoulder." (OOC: gigglesnorts..course I do <3)
"I like speaking of news and other azrein, interesting creatures and plants...stuff like that. How about you?" he asked. Taw curled his neck in and pranced a bit. He was oddly happy. This fellow had quite the effect on him.

"You're most welcome. That's one lucky girl you have." He wondered if it was the bright colors that drew her in or something else. Not really his business. "Thank you! I do love their simplicity." He beamed and swished his tail.
"Hmmmm afraid I don't know much about azrein gossip at the moment. Plants well.... I know what's good to eat!" His ears perked up. Dayturn loved to eat sweet grasses and get humans to give him sugar cubes. He looooooooooooooved those! "Me? Well I like to brighten others day. Rain is good for the grass an all, but Azrein shouldn't have a cloudy day."

"That's very noble of you Dayturn." He said. "My favorite grass is the really really tall stuff and the seeds on the top. How about yours?"
Taw was enjoying this talk. "I find it hard to believe you yourself do not hve a mate but I thank you for the compliment." He smiled at the thought of Seze. She was a wonderful, fierce mate. Perhaps they would have children soon. He smiled. Little ikran running around would be so cute.

If he could have, Dayturn would have blushed. He didn't think it was noble, just something he liked to do. "Grass? Ermmmm I'd say the sweet clovers. But my favorite treats are those white cubes the humans give out." His eyes twinkled with delight. They were just so sweet and melted in his mouth.
"No mate yet. That's alright thought. I can wait some." Dayturn would never think of pressuring a mare. If she decided that it would be great. He didn't want her sour on doing something she didn't want to.

Taw's ears perked forward. "Sugar squares? I've never ha one. It seems quite the shame from your description." He grinned. "Perhaps when I get my chosen I will convince them to let me try one."
"What are you looking for in a mate? Perhaps I can help you. Any particular color or personality? Fiery like the sun or flowing like the river. A calm day or a fierce storm? Earthy and brown or green and shimmering?"
"My own mate is fierce but loving and loyal as well."
