Above is a basic outline of how a character progresses.
Basic Level:
New Student
The fresh meat in ShinKami High. Their only task is to familiarize themselves with the school grounds and the way things are arranged.
Students in this stage wear casual clothes that will reflect upon their nationality, personality and possibly a hint of what they are going to become in the future.
Registered Student
A step up from the New Student. Their tasks include studying and learning all disciplines before they declare which area they intend to go into. There are two very general options at this point: magic and science.
Same clothes from the last stage will be worn. However, all registered students are required to wear the school badge at this point.
Regular Levels:
Starting from this level, the students are separated into two major sub-schools: the School of S&T and the School of Magic.
School of S&T (Science and Technology) includes the Science division and the Technology division, while the School of Magic includes the Usage division and Research division.
Students in this stage will have their uniform from their perspective schools, and will look older from the last stage. Hairstyles also tend to change, and sometimes their build.
Advanced Level:
Students at this level will wear clothes that indicate their major. The students will look older than the previous two stages, and other slight changes will be made to reveal his personality, etc.
Divisions under School of S&T are further separated into Offensive and Defensive categories.
Offensive:
Pharmacist: Students who focus on the study of biological weapons and poison.
Soldier: Students who train their body physically in preparation for the battlefront and study the creation of technological weapons.
Defensive:
Doctor: Students who focus on the healing aspect of medicines and ways to cure/prevent diseases.
Guardian: Students who design security systems to defend against future alien invasions by using a combination of cyber network and techno engineering.
Divisions under School of Magic are listed below:
Magic Usage Division:
Elemental: Students who focus on the study of the four natural elements (fire, water, wind, earth)
Light: Students who focus on the study of Light magic.
Dark: Students who focus on the study of Dark magic.
Magic Research Division:
Seeker: Students who research and seek out the magical creatures and races said to still inhabit this Earth.
Analyst: Students who focus on transforming magic into a medium that is much easier for humans to use.
Professional Level:
This level can only be obtained through special events and plots. At this level they are no longer students, and are given different titles for their specialties. Clothing at this stage can vary. However, clothing for magic majors will look more ancient while S&T major will look more futuristic.
Those who reach this stage from the School of Magic will gain the ability to summon different Goddesses depending on their major.
Those who reach this stage from the school of S&T will have the opportunity to become a faculty in the school to train future students.

A separate journal entry of initial reactions/feelings as the student first arrives in school.
A separate journal entry explaining the student's interest and his "goal" (what he hopes to accomplish by attending the school).

Thing to note:
All credits done outside of requirement are allowed to be carried over to student's next stage. Everything else start at 0 when a student is promoted.
Event credits can be taken from both official events (metaplots and other RP events) as well as player-run events. Note that only participation of the event will be awarded with credits, running an event does not. 1 credit is given for every event participation.

Additional Note: Micajah's hair is now probably down to a little below his shoulders, or at his armpits (it's been over a year) Proof of continued growth can be found here and in mention during the RPs here and here . He would wear his hair up in as many braids as possible, to keep it out of his face, or in a messy bun/ponytail. (Braids being the more likely since he's fond of them)
Micajah also really likes butterflies, so chances are he'd embroider as many as he could (or would be allowed) along the hem/collar/wherever of his uniform, probably in very vibrant colors.done!

Additional Notes: Cane's become much more muscular as he's aged [not taller, he's always going to be 5'7" xD] due to simply his body type, as well as working out, swimming, and lacrosse practice [referenced in RP 1 2 3]. His hair has also grown out a bit, and is now down to about his collarbone in length. He's taken to wearing it loose, though sometimes it has a tiny braid or two in it, a feather, or some other trinket [referenced in RP 1 2. He's got a tattoo of a bear paw on each of his pectorals [referenced in RP 1 ], and he still wears his dreamcatcher, as well as a gifted pair of bracers [referenced in RP 1 2] everywhere he goes. Cane's grown into a man rather quickly, now going on 17 years of age, and his face and build are much more adult than a lot of the other boys.
As for his uniform [I don't know if technology has a slightly different one from science, I'd thought maybe so, since tech probably does some dirty work], Cane wouldn't want anything to get in the way of his repair work/practice, so he'd have someone [Micajah] modify it to be sleeveless. He'd also probably wear it unbuttoned, if that was allowed, no shirt whatsoever [that would be his preference, anyway XD] if not, a grey, tight wifebeater. Other than that, he'd wear a utility belt, if allowed, with wrenches, and other repair stuff on it that he might need.
Have fun! These were my thoughts, and I realized I get quite rambly, but I'm sure anything you do will be amazing toa, so feel free to change things. DONE!

Additional Note: Nash is still very much the image of a young boy but he has grown taller, damn those farm boys. With all the eating he has done (noted here & here), I'd say he's a bit on the pudgy side. Not everyone can produce muscle. XD So yes, he's a butter ball but not fat just a little thicker and rounder. Still has freckles and his hair is a bit shaggy. It hasn't grown out enough for length so I'd say it kinda covers his eyes just a bit. Because of the confusion with his promotion, his facial expression should be thoughtful side, maybe in deep thought. It's been mentioned (although mildly, see "Find Yourself" & "Responde with this not that") he has a fob-chain watch. If possible he could be holding it or have it tucked at his side or in a pocket with the chain only visible.
Uniform wise cause he's a bit on the pudgy side I'd say he would more likely wear it open. I have no real preference on the style, he's still a simple boy and isn't big on fashion so wearing his uniform comfortably but in moderate taste would work just fine. DONE!
