*Primarily; he can generate various forms of shockwave energy by controlling the rapid rise in pressure, temperature and density of the flow. His control is limited in only creating the shockwaves rather than controling the individual forms he can gengerate. However, he does have a soul connection to Detonation and EMP waves.
*Secondarily; he uses Conservation of Energy, in which he can transform the energy around him into various forms of shockwave energy. This ability is currently unknown to him but with awareness he'll likely be able to control the type of energy he conservse to better help him in battle.

-He has a sharp eye for battle and with time can pick up on sutble patterns in his opponent's attacks. He his highly durable, unpredictable and wild. Hardly holds back on the use of his abilities unless friends/loved ones are involved.

- He carries a Jericho 941 F (DA), 9 mm with backup magazines, that allows him added protection should his shockwave abilities become a hinderance. It is carried in a holster at his leg with an extra magazine clip; just under his coat. He also carries some small smoke bombs around for a quick get away, they are in a special pouch at his side.

M E A N I N G: "Strong Warrior"
B I R T H D A Y: October 29, 1990 (18 years old)
A P P E A R A N C E: Dirty blond hair, brown eyes, tanned skin and a lean young build. Erol stands at about 133cm and weighs around 83kg. His style of dress is a laid back retro jazzy or skater approach. Fitted jeans, belts, buckles, and pockets for days. Boots or dress shoes, opting for gym shoes when dressing down or just doing the casual thing. He likes to wear accessories such as chokers, necklaces, bracelets and rings (no earrings). With his favorite colors being black, white, blue, red and gold he opts to remain in these general color ranges if possible. He likes to wear scarves both in civilian attire and as a the superhero Crossfade. He never leaves home without a pack of smokes in his pocket and his yellow tinted sunglasses.
O C C U P A T I O N: Erol is currently the lead singer and guitarist for his underground band called "The Poor Unfortunate Souls". While everyone in the band takes on lead roles in vocals, Erol has been made the team leader in this aspect due to his crazy riffs on guitar and his appeal to the crowd overall on stage. When he is not on stage he is in the battle field fighting for the rights of the Evolved everywhere as Crossfade. One thing to note, he does not like his secret life as a superhero but prefers to fight in order to protect his current lifestyle and make sure the world isn't plunged into a dark age of genocide.
P A S S I O N: Erol is passionate about his band and music in general to which he is always looking forward to playing gigs in various underground venues. Although his band members do not know about his evolutionary identity, his manager Rayborn supports both his singing career and his hero-work; being the only one who knows his true identity. As a side note, Erol dabbles in a little baking detail which involves cupcakes (his favorite). His favorite food is Sirloin steak, his hobbies dealing mostly with shopping though he likes to hang out with his friends, laze about and compose music or hit up the local bars and teen spots.
L O A T H E S: Erol despises anyone getting to personally invovled with his life. While he doesn't min sharing his interests pretending to know him or about him is a big issue. He's typically private only telling his deepest secrets to his manager Rayborn and even he doesn't get all of the details. He gets frustrated with people who like to gossip and talk about persons who are not present to defend themselves. Being forced into difficult situations and having no use to others is a major peeve. On the battlefield he doesn't want to feel obligated in saving people or anyone having to save him. Being able to carry one's weight is a plus. On a side note he hates spiders and snakes.
P E R S O N A L I T Y: With age comes wisdom, however, with Erol comes pranks and vulgarity that would leave anyone blushing. He has grown into a rather striking young man but his attitude has a lot to be desired where women are concerned. Quite the womanizing idiot he has been slapped on plenty of occasions concerning the fairer sex. Despite this he always comes out with a cocky smile on his face and a Malboro Light afixiated between his lips. Even so he has a cool personality as it would seem, always hiding behind his unruly hair, thick sunglasses and a billow of smoke from his cigarette, Erol is still quite the recluse. Unable to handle the spotlight being on him in respects to his past, present and future. He has absolutely no direction in life and is more content to just be a wandering idiot of a musician with is band; "Poor Unfortunate Souls" (aka: PUS).
Even so he's still holding on to that strong sense of justice though there is something in him that feels society today is twisted and needs clensing of the ignorance it produces. He's very analytical of the people around him and is not so easy to trust (though he does give false trust). He does seem to switch between sides where his duties are concerned. Wanting to help the weak but also battling the inner demons that tell him the weak are a necessary loss for a better future. Erol is in some cases morbidly troubled, always looking at himself as a tool rather than a person due to the usefulness that his powers can bring to either side of this unending war. Despite these facts, he has always had a strong need to belong... a place and persons availiable to him on a constant and supportive bases.

A SHOCKWAVE is a type of propagating disturbance. Like an ordinary wave, a shock wave carries energy and can propagate through a medium (solid, liquid or gas), and in special cases, through a field such as the electromagnetic field in the absence of a physical medium. Shockwaves are characterized by an abrupt, nearly discontinuous, change in the characteristics of the medium. Across a shock there is always an extremely rapid rise in pressure, temperature and density of the flow.
SECONDARY (DEFNITION) :: Conservation of Energy
In physics, the conservation of energy states that the total amount of energy in any system remains constant, although it may change forms. In short, energy can not be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another. (e.g. friction turns kinetic energy into thermal energy)
This being said, Erol's secondary abilities consist with the CONSERVATION OF ENERGY, meaning he can change one form of energy into that of his shockwave energy. Giving him, durability in battle, resistance to most energy based attacks, and allowing for an almost unlimited resource of power. o r i g i n: This name was mostly choosen among the group for reasons dealing with each of the members' past. Incidentally, it happens to be a favorite ditty from Disney's "The Little Mermaid" which is sung by Ursula with the same title.

b i o g r a p h y: Poor Unfortunate Souls, is a collaborated group of young individuals who specialize in not just one genre of music but many styles. Unlike most bands where there is a lead singer and the remaining members rely on musical instruments this group has opened the door to many possibilities by letting not just one but all of their members lead in the spotlight; minus the drummer, Tristan Danders, who has opted not to be apart of the spotlight. While Erol is considered the lead singer, depending on the tempo and type of song, other members will take over giving the group a wide variety of fans and opening doors to various musical genre. Based upon their personality most of the songs can be pinpointed toward the lead singer. Erol tends to take new rock and dance, Taz is more R&B and slow jams while Cori takes on the female vocals of club beats and ballads. Despite Tristan not singing lead he does give back up in many of the songs, so is not left completely out of the loop.
o t h e r . i n f o: When thinking up a name, most of the members consider titling the group: Erol and the Poor Unfortunate Souls. This was, however, changed as Erol's name was omitted from the title at his request. He didn't think it was much of a group effort if his name stuck out over everyone else considering they all were contributing to some degree.

.s c r a p e b o o k.  This is a picture of Crossfade in his uniform. Always willing to stop and pose for the camera I see. This is Erol at age 18. Doesn't he look emo? This picture was also used as a cameo for a poster.  Erol as a pre-teen at 13 years of age. He's bumpin' some serious tunes cause he didn't even notice his picture being taken.  Erol at age 10 when he was first found by NSA. Despite just toppling a mall at such a young age, he sure looked content and happy.
