Raleigh was there, with everything set up, much earlier than the time he expected Erol to arrive. After all, he’d had to fiddle with the holograms and then call Ace (because he’d never been very technologically savvy) for help in getting the stupid thing set up properly. The hologram world was a simple, extra large training room. At one end was a sizable pile of materials for Raleigh to use.
Taking a seat on one of the benches that ringed the room, Raleigh rested his back against the wall. This would be the first time they had ever really trained together. They had fought side by side, but they’d never truly tested each other in battle. It would be very interesting. Raleigh especially wanted to see how his frie… rival, had improved over the last few years.
Dressed casually in dark green slacks and a sleeveless brown shirt, Raleigh was prepared andeager to get started. He closed his eyes and worked at centering himself and calming his mind as his Aikido intructor had taught.

Blowing an exceptionally large bubble, Erol made his way to the designated spot. He and Raleigh had decided on a little sparring together, not that Erol had anything to say about it, but he was in some way, bullied into it. Or maybe his ego pushed him, either way he stood on the other side of the door, chewing his gum as his familiar earphones blasted music in his ears from his equally familiar iPod.
Stepping forward the door slide open to allow him entry. He casually walked into the room, dressed in light grey sweats, patriotic cut off jersey with, oddly enough, a red scarf tied about his neck. His shaggy hair was tied back in a simple rattail considering it wasn't as long as Raleigh's hair.
Making his way over to Raleigh he set down his duffle bag, probably filled with usless junk or junk food. "Yo." He offered as a greeting while he waited for the last of his song to finish before turning it off and tossing the iPod in his bag. "I need to warm up a bit, stretch and all that..." He said, popping his gum as he knelt down before the other to watch him in silence. When the other would make their move, Erol would respond, "Been a while." Stating the obvious but feeling a bit awkward without some mild conversation, if not intelligent (something he lacked in turn).

Raleigh opened his eyes as soon as Erol entered the room. He didn’t rise from his seat and simply watched the other young man walk across the room. To be honest it was a little odd. Neither of them considered their relationship to be one that involved much ‘hanging out’ or even any training together.
He gave a nod, replying with a small smile when Erol said he needed to stretch. “Sure.” Raleigh had already done enough stretching earlier. He sat forward a little, scratching idly at his left arm. “Yeah, long time.” It was then that he noticed Erol’s rattail and he couldn’t help a smile. “I commend you for trying but your hair will never look as good as mine.” That hair, which was tied in a loose ponytail, had a very well cared for look.
Raleigh finally stood, putting his hands on his knees and pushing himself up. “Alright then. Start stretching so we can get started.” Hands in his pockets he strolled over to his pile of materials, nudging a log idly with his foot.

Erol smirked at Raleigh's comment over his hair, "Well maybe that would have been an insult, however, did you think to ask that if I gave a damn about having metrosexual tendency, such as worrying over my mane? Besides I have a stylist to do it for me when I'm on stage, so why bother with it since I'll be ******** it all up in a moment." He muttered in jest.
Giving the other young man a shake of his head, Erol began some mild warm up exercises. Stretching out his limbs, fisting the air, doing a few back flips and cartwheels to get his mobility going. Eventually he worked up a mild sweet and decided he was ready to go. Heading over to where Raleigh waited he eyed the materials. "What's all this?"

“A stylist! Well, aren’t you big?” Raleigh laughed, feeling a little more at ease now that they’d fallen back to the light teasing he was used to. While Erol stretched and exercised, Raleigh centered himself and made plans as it what would be most useful. He wasn’t sure how the other evo had improved but Ra figured he would try speed as his first tactic.
“Hm?” Raleigh frowned. Oh wait, it wasn’t like they’d ever discussed each others powers. Erol had seen him in action, but he probably didn’t know exactly how it worked. “Materials for my creations.” He explained. “Once you’re at your side we’ll start.”
His powers were already grasping at the materials, ready to change them.

Erol strugged he'd never really asked Raleigh about his powers so it struck him odd to see a pile of crap laying about. Then again, Erol smiled. If those two ever had to go on a mission together, Ra wouldn't want for material with the destruction that Erol could cause. He'd have more than enough material to work with.
Heading over to his side, he stretched his arms one more time, rolling his neck and shoulders to be sure they were loose. "Alright, I guess I'm ready. Now what?" He never really spared with anyone before. Just a few scuffles here and there. He did know that Ra had taken some classes so was probably better prepared, fighting wise, while Erol simply went in guns blazing... as usual. He seriously had to think of more strategic methods to fighting and the use of his powers.
Well that was what training was for, and today he'd do his best to utilize all his options.

Raleigh was grinning. Somebody needed to make the first strike and that person may as well be him.
The heap of materials on the floor slid up into the groups and molded together, taking the form of three similar looking beasts that reached up to Raleigh’s waist. They were skinny creatures with long legs, slighlty arched backs and long snouts; almost like deformed greyhounds made of wood. They looked nasty but Raleigh had deliberately created them with blunted teeth and claws.
The grin had dropped away, and now Raleigh’s look was one of concentration. “Meet Mizaru, Mazaru and Mikazaru.” He said and then gave the go ahead to the three with a quick snap of his hand. The lithe creatures darted forward. One raced straight at Erol and the other two coming from the sides, their dark, dead eyes fixed on their prey.
Raleigh had stepped back a little and was watching carefully, his body tensed and ready to move.

So much for pleasantries, Erol had realized almost instantly that Raleigh was not going to hold back. The creatures looked pretty nasty, definately worth an approving whistle as they closed in on him. Well that definately wasn't a good idea, as Erol crouched down, waiting for them to move in closer.
He would have to time this perfectly as all approving grins were wiped from his face. A look of complete concentration etched his face. With a pulsating blast shot straight into the floor, Erol was propelled into the air, where he difted for a short while before gravity began to do catch. With an arial view, he spotted Raleigh standing back and decided he'd try a frontal attack, while still at dangerous vantage point himself.
A pulsing blast of his shockwave, sailed through the air past Ra's creations and straight for the creator itself. Erol's eyes never left Ra's position despite his being subtly aware of the creatures below.

Ooc: I wasn't quite sure, so let me know if Ra's reaction to the blast was corrct or if it should have taken more out of him.
Ic:
Now that had been a foolish move. Raleigh conceded that fact as he met Erol’s gaze across the room. He had been arrogant in believing his sudden attack would put the other evo off guard and cause any attack to be directed at the creations. Still, if he could withstand this first attack than his creations would have an open shot.
Since Raleigh wasn’t sure what range Erol’s energy waves, or whatever they were exactly, reached, he decided not to try evade them. He crouched, tensed his muscles and lifted an arm to try protecting his head.
The wave him, instantly knocking the air from his lungs and sending him sprawling back across the floor. Ouch. But even as he was falling, Mizaru, who had been attacking from the front, did an abrupt turn, racing back to his side. Mizaru, from the left, did a skid turn and leapt from the floor jaws wide to grab at Erol’s leg.
Mikazaru ran from behind and prepared to back Mizaru up.

Erol didn't crack a smile with Raleigh taking the brunt of his attack. It was subdued, after all this was only a practice run. Even so, there was only so much force Erol could hold back in his attacks, having yet to learn that particular fact.
With his attack a mild success, the young Evo had to pay closer attention to the attacking entities. Being that of the Ra's creations, he noticed Mizaru take off for his master, while Mazaru turned heading his way for a delicious nibble of his leg. Mikazaru stayed back but was not that far behind.
Erol only had seconds to calculate his next move, with both creatures using their momentum against his downward gravitational fall. It was then he realized something. His fall was already in motion... shifting slightly he managed to turn himself in mid-air while Mazaru opened his maw to clamp down on what should have been his leg. It was instead, Erol's arm. "Arrrg! Stupid mutt..." Erol growled letting the pain wash over him while he focused. Though he noticed the mutt's blunt teeth, it didn't make it any less painful with how strong the thing had been.
Better his arm then leg. He needed to move about if he were going to be any use, and taking out his leg Erol realized was a big hinderance. As gravity continued to push him down, he let out a force that propelled him faster toward earth, a wicked grin on his face. Mikazaru was preparing itself, for what he didn't know, but he gave Mazaru a swift yank of his hand tossing the creature at the other for cover or distraction.

Mazaru didn’t distinguish between having arm or leg. All it was concerned with was that it now had something between its jaws. Instinctively it bit down as hard as it could, while angling its body so it hit the ground on all fours. But when Erol’s sped up their fall with a blast of energy, it temporarily lost its grip and was thrown towards Mikazaru, though he tried to get a gri on Erol with his claws as he passed.
Mikazaru darted to the side to avoid Mazaru (who hit the ground awkwardly) and then came in for the attack. Spines sprouted out all across its body; a sharp armor, prompted by Raleigh. It moved quickly around Erol in a circle before running in with a full bodied tackle, jaws wide.
Raleigh had dragged himself into a sitting position, one arm around Mizaru’s neck. Having connected with Mikazaru before, he was feeling the energy drain and was waiting to get it back before he could do anything else productive.
“Mazaru, in!” He shouted.

Erol sent a condense wave that sliced through the air, it was meant to cushion his fall but with his mind worried over Mikazaru's coming attack something shifted and the wave became thick in the air. Erol remembered this from a time ago when training as a child, it had made him sick and no different from before the wave released had a double edge effect.
It resonated throughout the training room, giving off a feeling of drowning or suffocating. He didn't know what the effects it would have on dead matter but he knew it would hit Ra unexpectedly, perhaps distracting the other enough that his attacks would be sluggish. Erol already knew the best way to beat Raliegh was to fight him directly and nuetralize him before he got any of his creatures off the ground.
A smile came to his lips even though he knew he couldn't dodge Mikazaru in mid-air. The armor connected slicing through cloth and skin. "s**t." Erol breathed the pain bareable but just the same unwanted. Finally passing the onslaught gravity quickly became his next enemy, to which he slowed his decent just enough with a random burst wave. Landing hard just the same he lay on the ground groaning. The effects of the resonating wave hadn't warn off just yet, still doing a number on his own body. Slowly he began to move looking around the room, he spotted Ra but quickly looked for his creatures needing to get a veiw of the field before he made his next move.
The smile never faded.

Raleigh’s weakness was glaringly obvious and it was clear Erol was going to abuse it as much as possible. As he knelt on the ground besides his creation, he quickly realized that standing around and giving orders was not going to cut it. A new battle plan was in order. Unfortunately he didn’t get much time to do any productive thinking. Erol’s newest wave left the creations unaffected, but Raleigh doubled over, feeling as if he was suffocating.
Mazaru abandoned his attack at Raleigh’s show of distress and raced to his side. Along with Mizaru he stood guard, his beady eyes not leaving Erol’s form for a moment. The attack a success, Mikazaru landed on the ground on all fours and then spun around. His claws click clacked along the floor as he moved back and forth uncertainly.
As air finally began to return to his lungs and Raleigh began to feel less light-headed, he gave his hand a wave, beckoning Mikazaru over. He had not spent hours training just to be beaten like this. Too bad he didn’t have enough breath to even chuckle, because he really wanted to. Heh. This was getting good.
Focus. Ra let out a breath through his nose. This would leave him pretty buggered for a while, but all that would be required of him for a while would be to hang on. With his powers he gathered all three of his creations, feeling the strain instantly. Oh, it wasn’t too bad. He’d felt worse.
The three creations began to mold together, the different materials flowing together like molten lead. They came up under Raleigh, forming into a beast that was slightly larger than a horse. Its back curved downwards, creating a comfortable seat for Ra. Its legs were thick, long and bent; made for jumping and fast movements. Large spikes protruded from its shoulder blades, giving Ra something to hold onto and a long whip-like tail remained in a constant state of movement.
“Okay Yamaru. Your turn.” Raleigh muttered and then smiled. If Erol got anymore good shots in, he was going to win this. So Ra had to make sure that didn’t happen. He gripped at the spines on Yamaru's back, trying to ignore his growing exhaustion.

Erol was still undertaking the consequence of his double-edge attack. He would have to work on that a little more, that was for certain. Standing on wobbly legs he used the wall behind him to hold himself up while he took in a deep breath. One brown eye opened to the sight of a rather impressive creature to which both eyes were open to take it all in. A clear whistle slipped from Erol's lips as he gave Raleigh a quick approval in the form of a wink. "Nice." He finally spoke standing fully and taking his breath back.
He wasn't fully rejuvenated, certainly not, but he knew this was the deciding factor of thier little training session. Neither one of them could continue at this rate, so it was all or nothing. Erol closed his eyes briefly taking another long breath before he went into a crouching stance.
He knew the factors, Raleigh had training and discipline under his belt. Knowlege and understand of his abilities not to mention the missions given to him by the agency. Erol, on the other hand, was wild and unpredictable. He may not have all the training and knowledge but he had no qualms about unleashing them to their fullest. Aiming one destructive wave on his opponent was all he needed. It wouldn't kill the guy but definately knock him out; his creations would wither without his control over them and Erol could claim himself the victor.
He smiled but kept his mind focused. He hadn't won yet. Getting ahead of himself was one thing he wouldn't do. Never under estimate your opponent no matter how big or small. Everyone has a weakness, exploiting that feature is of most importance. "Ready?" He breathed to himself mostly. This time he would let Raleigh make the first move and judge his actions based on the strange creature he'd conjured up this time.

It was his turn to make the first move. Raleigh considered the scene. He had wasted a lot of energy in this little match. The problem with Yamaru was that in this area it didn’t have enough room to put its speed or agility to good effect, but if they didn’t get moving than Ra would be a sitting duck for Erol’s attack. To be honest, Ra was also finding himself a little worried about actually hurting Erol. Getting hit by Yamaru would hurt like hell.
Another minute past by as Raleigh waited. He smiled as he decided that he would throw his all into this next attack. If he got knocked out halfway through, well, so be it. Leaning across Yamaru’s back he gave some whispered instructions and then sat up again. Catching Erol’s gaze he grinned.
Yamaru tail snapped at the ground like a whip, its back legs bunched and then it charged forward. Raleigh was apparently throwing tactics out the window. But halfway to Erol it stopped suddenly, hunching its back forward. When it happened Raleigh was ready for it.
This was going to hurt.
As Yamaru’s tail whipped around at Erol, Raleigh had been thrown from the creations back. He hit the ground, rolled and then came up in a crouch near Erol. From that position he lashed out with his foot, trying to catch Erol in the leg. Ra knew it was a ridiculously risky move and he was going to be damn sore later, but he could possibly get a draw with this two-pronged attack.
If Erol went for him, Yamaru’s attack would probably connect, and if Erol picked Yamaru well… okay, that would be the smart move. Other than giving Erol a nasty kick in the shins Raleigh wasn’t sure he could manage anything else.
