The shield wasn't keeping up with things, shoddy work or just impossible odds, either way, it didn't keep Spasskaya from swinging again and trying to make a dent in the thing if she could. With it shrinking in size,e she wondered if more of those scales would come down so Novella could grab one for whatever he intended to use it for.
If anything, she wondered if it might keep a residual charge in the scale that might work for making a timepiece with. ------------------------------------------------------

Her friends weren't looking good, and the big bad looked like it was getting angrier. Maybe Freddy was right about this being dangerous, but she couldn't just have stayed home and hoped for the best.
She had to do something, even if it was just hitting the thing again with her later,n along with everyone else trying to work together to take this thing down.
She knew she was flagging, a little, but deep inside her, she knew she still had more to give. More to fight for.
So she reached into the depths of her magic, to the well of bright, new power that connected her to her world, and shot off a second fireball. The power was there. The lightning might strike around her, but it hadn’t hit her—not dead on, not yet. And she still had enough in her to keep going.
“How we doing?” She called, to those around her—Hati, Skoll, Cernunnos, the new alien she’d never met. “Because I’m thinking we don’t need to hang on for much longer! This thing has got to be close to going down!"
Maybe tat was empty bravado. Maybe she was stupid, burning her strongest magic so fast. but she still had more to give. So she'd just have to keep on giving.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Infernal Blaze! Sailor Asmodeus speaks the name of her attack and holds out a hand, and a fireball forms in her palm. She throws it up, and it grows massive and explodes around her with a radius of 12 feet, appearing to set the area aflame. Enemies caught in the blast will feel as if they are burning up, and those that have committed evil acts--murder, forced corruption, and similar--will find that the pain is significantly more intense. Those affected may be left with moderate burns at player discretion. The effects last for 30 seconds, and Asmodeus can use this attack twice per battle.
Deep Space Eternal Sailor Dagon Location: I7 Action: Attacking with DSS magic, using Almadel's pin! Total: 6 x 2 (DSS) + 10 + 10 (pin) = 32 HP: 128 - 38 - 6 + 28 (Ekstrom shield) = 112
Dagon stared up at the sky.
The beast had come out of the clouds, now; smaller, denser, perhaps more powerful. Even now, its size rivalled the greatest leviathans of her world; the ones that lay undisturbed in the deepest ocean depths, whose movements caused quakes and tidal waves.
This thing caused far greater damage.
She narrowed her eyes at it.
“It may be getting stronger. It may be becoming more fierce. But it is only because it is a cornered animal, at the end of the hunt. And we will bring it down. Together.”
She believed that, truly, in her heart. They had the materials, they had the power, they had the resolve.
Any beast could be hunted. It only required the right skills and the right ferocity.
“Dread Destruction,” she breathed.
For her part….as promised, she would ensure that the beast knew dread.
Quote:
Eternal Sailor Attack: Dread Destruction! Dagon speaks the name of her attack, and claps her hands together, then opens them. Within a fifteen-foot radius around her, the area becomes dark and cold, and enemies within the darkness are struck by a sense of deep, physically painful dread—as if something is going to come out of the dark and end them. As the magic wears on, enemies may begin to hallucinate strange, monstrous shapes moving in the darkness, an actualization of the dread the magic causes. These effects last for 45 seconds, and Dagon can cast this spell once per battle.
Page 8, Page 21, Page 35, Page 46, Page 69 Location: C8 Action: Attacking. With Alastor, Valhalla, Ganymede, and the others near Laurelite. Total: (4 + 10 Rank) x 2 (Metallic Bracelet) = 28 HP: 105 - 38 - (10 + 2)= ??
Sessrumnir was grateful that Ganymede hadn’t struggled. As much as he wanted to attack Laurelite, he knew it was not the time or place. An altercation like that could mean disaster for the whole World.
He didn’t expect anything good to come of Valhalla talking to Laurelite, but his brother had always been the one to seek out hope in the impossible. A fool’s errand. Once, maybe, Sessrumnir was just as innocent and naive. But life hadn’t been as kind to him as it could have been. He’d learned his lesson, time and time again.
Ganymede launched herself up to attack the serpent, and it was not surprising that it looked like a small explosion from where she injured it with her tiara.
Lucien was a bit of a surprise, and he could feel the heaviness in the necklace against his chest. He didn’t want to be a distraction, but did his best to think of things that would help settle Alastor’s heart.
Of course, Alastor getting hit by the lightning was worrisome. Sessrumnir didn’t keep his eyes on him for too long, not wanting to be concerned about distracting him.
Once Ganymede and Alastor were back on the ground, Sessrumnir jumped up to cast his magic on the serpent, before landing back down beside his husband. Not before being struck by the lightning as well, but that was fine. It wasn't the worst injury he could have received.
Thankfully, it looked like the boys were doing okay.
Lucien seemed to understand that Alastor had a lot he wanted to ask, a lot he wanted to say. There was a lot Lucien wanted to say as well. He wanted to reassure Alastor that he didn’t intend any heartache. It was bad enough that Lucien couldn’t recall all of the memories Alastor wished he could.
They would have time to talk once all of this was over. Lucien would make sure of it.
He jumped up to attack, striking the underbelly with sharper than usual claws. He was cautious about the Negaverse agents around them, but he was determined to see this fight through to the end.
He landed beside Alastor once more, his tail swishing with mild agitation, brushing against Alastor’s leg in what was supposed to be a reassuring gesture.

Pendour, Knight of Neptune Location: F3 Action: Giving literally all her energy to the shield Total: n/a HP: 118- 110 (Shield x 11) = 8
Oh no. Despite everything they were trying, the shield was breaking. People were being hurt. She could see it. She could hear it. And the creature looked angry now. She didn't blame it.
People were trying to kill it. She hated that. She hated everything about this.
Still, she couldn't have it hurt her friends.
There was more she could do. More energy she could give. She knew it. She often drained herself to sleep, so there was no reason that she should be standing here like this right now. Looking over her shoulder, she caught a glimpse of Abzu looking at her, concerned.
I'm sorry, she thought, vaguely, in his direction.
"I know this won't kill me," she said, gesturing to the Source Stone. "I know that it's programmed to stop before then. But, um, that," she glanced to the creature that took up the sky, "That might. So, please," she reached out to touch the nearest one, and didn't let go. "Take as much from me as you can."
She held on until the world became soft and fuzzy around her, and then she slumped to the ground.
Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journalEternal Corrupt Beatrix Location: c8 Action: More magic time Total: +10 = HP: 77- 11= 66hp
So the thing was angry and zappy, not a vibe, but Beatrix was excited to be able to fight something after having kept back on things due to the truce. She didn't really like order, even if they were supposed to be working together. So she'd just drained and laid low so as not to set too bad of an example for Meissa. She still wanted Chrysocolla and Hessonite to say she was doing a good job. Now that Laurelite was right here, she was really fighting the urge to sneak a punch at the princess. But she knew that probably would be frowned upon, and the last person she wanted to disappoint was the queen.
Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journalSuper DMS Hela Location: H9 Action: Another round of snek stomp and pulling her cell out for a quick pic of the cloned Rems Total: + 5 = HP: 90HP
Hela didn't get the chance to ask what Hybris was thinking, but she was definitely surprised that again he was picking a very big fish in this pond of craziness to mimic.
When the danger noodle in the sky decided to get extra angry, she'd braced for the worst and was glad to see that, again, Remarque had some sort of plan. Sneaking her phone out, she didn't even need to fiddle with settings or anything to snap a few pictures before she pulled out another doll of the snake, and the first one faded.
But when she looked bac,k Hybris wasn't there next to her anymore, she saw that flowing white dress up high for a moment before it came back down nearby, but not close enough to maybe get help from Remarque again.
Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journalSuper DSS Procyon Location: C6 Action: Feeling worse for wear but trying his best Total: + 5= HP: 52hp
Looking up as the creature finally came into full view, Procyon took a step back as it crashed against the shield. It didn't feel safe, and he could see where it was giving way in some areas close by.
He wanted to do something, to try again with his magic, even if it was hard to tell if the thing could feel anything. It was so massive, he couldn't even fathom what type of place or feeling it might experience with his magic.
Character Name, Rank, and a link to their journalCadet Vysynnia Location: F3 Action: Attacking? Total: 8 HP: 78hp
People were coming to help, many of them unfamiliar, but she could tell that the others who had been here longer had a better grasp on things. While they handled the gathering of energy and worked on the shield, she took another swing at the monster with her weapon and tried to avoid getting in anyone else's way.
Magnus practically buried his claws into cloth and feathers to stay on Niter’s shoulders. He crouched, body wrapped around the boy’s neck as he rode out the wild ride.
Again they were hit by the creature…DRAGONS attack and the mau was starting to really feel the ache from it. Thankfully, Niter didn’t have a place to tuck Magnus’s berry as the feline ripped it out of the bag he still clung to and gobbled it down in haste.
”You’ve got this!” He cheered Niter on around the berry in his mouth. Eyes wide as he watched whatever it was that Niter materialized to hit the creature. Was it a claw? Whatever it was, it was impressive!
Fluorapatite - Eternal Senshi of Static Location: B2 Action: Teleporting on CH to attack Total: 3+10(rank) + 15 =28 HP: 150-35-10=105 - 38(Prompt 2) - 30 (going on CH) = 37
Feeling emboldened by the General (Wolframite) who descended from the sky like a guided missile, Fluorapatite withdrew the Fractured Crystal from her subspace pocket.
With its magic she teleported herself high above the clouds on to the Calamitous Hollow’s back where she quickly called upon her changing static shock. With satisfaction, she watched it skip across its back, striking an area that already looked damaged scales before dissipating.
Having already teleported herself and two generals on top of the shield to remove the scale, she did not have much energy left to teleport herself back to safety. Instead, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to fall freely.
Air whipped around her, but she felt no fear.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Chaining static shock Sìdòuèr targets one opponent within 10' of her current location. This attack is similar to her first attack, however this time the attack can affect up to three targets and has a slightly larger radius. Rubbing her hands together she forms a ball of static energy forms in the palm of her hand; as an image of a Kirin begins to form it then charges/arches towards the intended target. If the ball of static energy hits the intended target, it gives the opponent a nasty shock it may numb the area where the opponent was struck (but it will not paralyze them unless she hits the same person in the same spot multiple times). Once the shock makes contact with the target it will then charge/ jump to the next nearest opponent dealing the same damage before jumping one final time (either back to the frist opponent or to a 3rd opponent). The opponents must be either in front of her, to her side, it will not target someone behind her unless she knows they are there and they are in range (The bolt can only hit a max of 3 people (or things), it can only jump twice).
If a battle takes place at night or in a dark area, there is a chance of the opponent's vision being either momentarily blinded or seeing the afterimage of the shock for 2-5 seconds (it is the exact same effect as if you are standing in a dark room and someone flips the lights on then off really quick you'll see a bright probably blue after image lingering in front of you while your eyes adjust). If the opponent is more than 10' away from her the static shock will target a near metal object in an attempt to reach said opponent (eats up a jump) if it still cannot reach out towards the opponent the static will fizzle out. This attack can be used 2 times per battle.
Dravite remained relentless in his assault, swinging the chain to gain momentum before propelling his dagger toward the Calamitous Hollow.
With his focus already on the sky, he noticed the corrupt falling. But before she hit the shield, he teleported Fluorapatite to him.
Captain - The feather charm becomes a dagger while the chain links (8ft) becomes thicker. The red pendulum remains at the end of the chain as a weight.
If Dravite is able to wrap the chain around an opponents limb the red pendulum will start to glow causing the opponent to hallucinate that they're seeing/ hearing movement of a bird to a flock of birds flying at them from their peripherals (severity of the illusion is to the opponent players discretion). This lasts 15 seconds each time he entangles someone.

Corrupt Super Ako Location: A7 Action: Following Kaga and attacking, then getting her girlfriend the hell out of the way Total: 4+5+15+10=24 HP: 125-35-38-35=17
"Don't think for even a second that I wouldn't follow you. We're in this together to the end." Ako's movements mirrored Kaga's with the pin, and she followed suit in teleporting as well. Her magic crackled to life as a small firestorm manifested on the Hollow's back, and she returned to the barrier with Kaga.
When they returned within the barrier, Ako fell to one knee beside Kaga and rested a hand on her back, eyes checking for any wounds as she tried to push back the fear of seeing Akaganeite fall to her knees.. "Are you alright? What can I do?" She refused to acknowledge the anxiety gripping her throat and the pit it formed in her stomach. They would be okay. They had to be. Ako wasn't ready to go down just yet, not when she finally had something worth fighting for. "I'm right beside you..."
Quote:
Super attack: -picking a target, a cloud forms above their head as a line of fire surrounds their feet. the fire feeds heat into the cloud, this time turning it into a thunderstorm cloud of hot wind, cloud lightning and hot ashy rain. It serves as a distraction, though they can get free if they dare risk the slightly higher fire (singeing of the clothing happens and it almost feels as though there is a slight burning sensation where the singing happened, light red marks appearing on the bare skin it touches like faint burn marks, players can choose to take more damage if they wish). Two uses per battle, attack lasts twenty-five seconds.
Almere beamed. Yes, part of this was terrifying. Yes, there were parts of her clothes and skin that were charred from where the lightning had managed to get through the various shields, and she'd lost her hat.
But in a lot of ways, this felt like destiny. This felt like what she'd been made for.
The others were protecting them, and that meant she could strike.
"We're going to kill a dragon," she repeated to Halle, and then she jumped up to try to pry her spoon between the scales again.
Hy-Brasil, Transcended Knight of Earth Meta Posting Log Location: G6 Action: Spreading out heals evenly amongst the following in G6: Corvina, Grieve, Mirabilite, Roka = 10 HP each (Corvina gets 12) Total: 1 (ROLL) + 10 (rank) + 10 (Almadel’s pin) + Double bonus = 42 HP: 132 - 38 (CH dmg) - 12 (Shield Failed) = 82
”That I can.” She responded to Grieve with a grin before the alien woman turned her entire focus on their adversary. The Calamitous Hollow was not only a serpent, he was a ******** dragon. Like….why? This was ridiculous in so many ways. She was a damn knight trying to slay a dragon. Yep, couldn’t get more fairy-tale than that. The only big difference here was this dragon dealt with electricity instead of fire and that electricity packed a punch.
Thankfully, they had been shielded against some of the attack, but people were beginning to show the wear of the battle.
Hy began channeling her magic and the gentle flow of sandalwood scented smoke began to billow from the incense burner on her staff and flood around her immediate area. Her magic sought out wounds and hurts to begin aiding in recovery so those who could actually attack, could keep up the battle.
Begrudgingly, she included the chaos agent (Mirabilite) who was shielding them all. What’s fair was fair.
Basiluzzo watched that thing swoop in and out of the cloud and clapped his hand to Encke's shoulder. "Here, I'm going to give you some extra oomph. Make that thing hurt." He stepped back and began to spin his staff as rapidly as he could over his head, kicking up a strong wind.
There was a crisp coolness to Cryolite's magic that made her heartbeat flutter despite everything. Although, she couldn't get too romantic with a General staring them down.
So, she smiled at Cryo just once. The others were shielding and supporting each other, so she didn't think she had to use Flutter's magic right now. Instead, she jumped up to try to hit it with the staff again.
Tincalconite was woozy enough that he actually did not care how silly he looked, shouting, "stop!" up at the lightning and the great monster behind it.
