The story goes back thirty years prior, to the city of Takumi. Bustling streets and avenues of wares. Outside of the city, a caravan had made its camp. A troupe of performers and merchants on their way to another busy city, a city known for its income. It hadn't taken long for a few to get in, and within one of its plazas, there was a dancer. Her fans danced through the air, tawny hair free with the breeze. An elegant dancer, up until she bumped into a certain young man.
This young man met her eyes, and in the palm of her hand placed one gold coin. It wasn't much, but turning his pockets inside out, he revealed it was all he had. Again and again, he vowed the next year, he would return on the day, with more of those coins in hand. An art, he said it was. Not quite like bartering. Nonetheless, from midday until the sun set, he spent watching the young woman dance. By the day's end, they were attempting to figure out one major step. How to know it is one another the following year? A tattoo. A dragonfly on his hand, and a butterfly on hers. Not once, did the two see each other while they stayed.
A year passed by, and again, the caravan found its way back to Takumi. The plaza was just as busy as ever, and again, her dancing led her to bump into the man with the dragonfly on his hand. Hands scarred dropped coins into the soft hands of the dancer, and a smile on his face. The day was once more spent together, few words exchanged. The days end was a wave goodbye, and off they were. The process continued, the young man following his word as vowed. More coins were brought each year, and it wasn't until five years had passed that they'd finally come to an understanding. The grizzly young man had been bartering and fighting for his life year round. The exchange of names seemed to be all that sparked off their relation to a new level. The dancer told the young man Inseria was her name. And his? Xyzier was his.
From that day forward, the two traveled together in the caravan. He, a guard, and she a inspiration of joy and entertainment. The entire caravan seemed to be a place of joy, happy little families and small clans. Even better was a couple of years in the future, the caravan had become one of the longest running businesses in the land, and Inseria announced to the caravan that they would be having a precious addition to the caravan. Later on in the year, a little girl was born to them. This particular girl was named Kinpaku, or Gold, to honor those early days the girl's parents had spent together.
Over the years which followed, the small Issetsu clan stuck with the caravan. The little girl picked up a variety of things, but sadly, things were becoming more difficult. Learning dances, and all sorts of other things, Kinpaku was at the summit of happiness. That is... Until the eighth year of her life. The caravan was becoming rocky, and a bad year yielded bad crops. Inevitably, the caravan picked up little for goods. The slippery slope began, as they continued on their routes as they normally would. With few items to sell, the income slowly dwindled
Performers left. Unpaid guards departed. The caravan which had been strong for over a decade had finally eroded. Now, only a small number remained, the Issetsu group among them. They voyaged, hoping that the tides would change. The caravan had been all the world their child had known, and it was to be the very same for the rest of their family. Slowly though, wills wavered. With no income, food stuffs slowly wavered. The weakening travelers were to become targets inevitably for whatever they had left.
Even with the hunger, the remnants were happy. Festivities in the eve, and why not? They'd had a long run. That was... Until the raid. Bandits struck down the travelers. First fell the father of the Issetsus, as among the remaining guard. As the numbers dwindled, the merchants fought back with whatever they could. Dropped swords. Logs. Anything. Hiding away, Inseria became the last guard for her daughter. Her fans unfurled in a manner which had never been seen before to Kinpaku. With the intent to defend, and to kill. Everything went dark.
Hours later, the girl was awakened by the nudging of a man in black, a mask on his face. The area had been cleared, much to the girl's relief. In his hand was a bag. Her bag. Within it sat her things, the tessen her mother had used to the end, and a map. For the future. Off with this unnamed man she would come to know as her new father, and off they went, to the village hidden in the Clouds. A precarious member of the village, she remained hidden, becoming an oinin in time to compliment her father's skills. The rest... Lay unknown in the future.

Personality: Shouka is a fairly quiet man in terms of sociable skills. Although he's only quiet with those he does not know as of yet. That is of course if he feels like they can not be friends. Due to this many feel a quiet and mysterious essence; something that is so repellent and attractive. Shouka holds a calm disposition most times, but tends to get angry when his friends are harmed. Fortunately he is not quick to resort to violence unless he or the others raise their fists first. Shouka is quite competitive in terms of sports. Physical skills (Sports, etc.) play a large role in his life and he is always giving his all. Even when sustaining an arm or leg injury, it will not stop him from continuing. Shouka grew up in a very poor village inside of Rai no Kuni, one that while it lacked money held a large amount of loyalty to each other. They all worked together, creating things and helping when possible. If one person was having trouble, they would all go help out, and vise versa. However Shouka, he was different than the rest. He was quiet, and calm, if he saw someone struggling he would just watch on, indifferent to the situation no matter what. It was a strange thing for the village, who had decided to raise him in place of his parents, who had passed away when he was but a little boy, leaving him alone in the world. The villagers took pity on him, taking him in their homes, one day he'd stay with one villager, the next he'd be with a different. He hated his life-style, always moving from house to house, never settling down. So when a trading caravan, one that was headed to Kumogakure arrived in their village for a rest Shouka decided to sneak on-board their caravan. So he could escape his village, and possibly become a Shinobi. He'd heard stories about Shinobi, people who could jump across rooftops, shoot fire from their mouths, and conjure water from mid-air. He wanted to do that, to be powerful. So he enrolled in the academy, and spent six years wasting his life there, learning things that he already knew from the time he spent in the library. He was almost always reading something, in the library or in the academy, so he was labeled a bookworm. Yet he was also a genius, he was easily able to surpass all others in Taijutsu, and he was even a genius in Ninjutsu, it was frightening to think that a boy who grew up a civilian was so powerful.
Yet he didn't know that he was from the Uchiha Clan, a noble clan that had the Sharingan bloodline, the bloodline that allowed them to copy all techniques, as well as gives them the ability to see everything in slow-motion. How was this possible? He'd never known his parents, but from what he was told they'd never been shinobi, could they have possibly been runaways? It was possible.

The Beginning
Thanatos was born in Kumogakure, when the Hatake exiled themselves many went to Suna, but his parents went to Kumo. They stayed there together and had him. In the early years of his life he wasn't very social. He didn't go and play with other children unless he was invited. That's where he met Demetri, you see Demetri wasn't his blood brother. But that is for later, Now he met Demetri and they almost instantly became friends. They both shared a loyalty to the village and a pride within themselves to be the best. Some people would mistake them for siblings since they both had silverish hair. But Demetri's skin was a tad tanner than Thanatos. Thanatos was glad he had such a good friend someone who was like a brother to him. They made a pact that they would become great shinobi together and would always be there for the other.
The Tragedy
Then one day, Demetri didn't come to the park to play. He found this strange but his mother told him not to worry he might have just been busy. But a week went by and he didn't see Demetri at all. Worried for his friend he headed to his house. When he arrived he knocked a few times, noone answered and he didn't here anyone inside. At first he feared that they had maybe moved away. But he shook his head and knocked one more time. No answer, but suddenly he heard something move. He called out Demetri's name but heard no answer he opened the door and entered. The entire house was dark, the sun was setting and no natural light was showing through the drawn curtains. He turned on a light of the kitchen and he found Demetri sitting at the table alone. A bowl of half eaten rice in front of him, he looked over at the sink and noticed many dishes piled up. This was strange as his mom would always be cleaning."Demetri?" said in a questional tone. He saw something glinting on Demetri's cheeks and it feel to the table. He was crying, in all his years of knowing Demetri he had never seen him cry.He was going to take a step towards him when he finally spoke."They're dead."He said, Thanatos tilted his his what did he mean by that."Wh-"He was cut off before he could ask."MY PARENTS!" He yelled, another thing Demetri didn't usually do in such a manner. It was a feeling of mix anger and sorrow."They were heading to support a team who had asked for backup, when they arrived they were ambushed, their team fought and killed them. But my parents...they didn't survive...I-I don't have any family left." Demetri tears had stopped, but you could feel the anger coming from the boy. Thanatos felt bad for him walked up to his side placing a hand on his shoulder. Demetri looked up at him as Thanatos smiled."Come be a part of my family, you can become my brother." Demetri eyes widened in surprise before he could speak Thanatos added."We will always be there for each other Demetri." Demetri's anger left him, he wiped the wet spots off his face and stood. He followed Thanatos him. His parents warmly and gladly accepted him into their home and family. So Thanatos and Demetri became brothers, and they would smile and laugh when people asked them if they were.
The Incident
But then, an something happened. When they were about 11 they had gotten jobs to make some money for themselves. Simple things like chopping firewood or gathering herbs. One day they had been finishing up various jobs and being paid for them. The last one was delivering firewood to a old man who lived in the forest outside of Kumogakure. Though there parents didn't allow them to leave and go that far off. The man paid well so they wanted to make a little more then they usually do. Everything went fine with the delivery. The man paid and they were on their way. While heading back they were stopped by some bandit. He demanded the money they had, he must have seen the old man pay them. Demetri in an attempt to help them escape picked up a stick and threw it at the man, it hit him in the eye and he yelled in pain. They both ran off, but they weren't fast enough. He cut them off and he was angry."You little brat, I'm gonna cut your eyes out!"he yelled as he pulled out a kunai and slashed Demetri. Thanatos watched as the man attacked his brother. So he pushed him out of the way and took the attack. He slashed his eye and Thanatos screamed in pain, Demetri was instantly by his side trying to protect him from the bandit. They were so scared, they didn't know what to do. They were just kids...but then everything fell silent. The bandit fell dead on the floor. The anbu had arrived after hearing yells from the bandit. The took Demetri home and hospitalized Thanatos. At the hospital Demetri was there when they told his parents that he had lost the use of his eye. When they told the doctor if there son could still be a shinobi. He informed them that he could no longer qualify. Thanatos laid in the bed, pretending to be asleep. He couldn't believe that his dream was over. They wouldn't allow him to be a shinobi even if he tried. After many hours had passed by Demetri finally came up to him, apologizing for ruining his life and his dreams. Thanatos merely smiled and placed his hand on his brothers shoulder."You'll just have to fulfill our dreams Demetri." Demetri looked at him with a surprised look. He then nodded with a look of sheer determination in his eyes.
Two Dreams, One Goal.
And then the years went by, Demetri went to the academy and came back to show Thanatos how to do what he had learn. Then Demetri became a genin and he became increasingly busier, training doing missions all that sort of stuff. Then when he was a chunnin his schedule slowed. But then Demetri returned one day being carried by his teammates. His family was called and told that he was in a Coma and they had no idea when he would wake up. At the time Thanatos began thinking of what Demetri made him promise a long time ago. But he wouldn't consider it as long as his brother had a pulse. He finally woke up one day, he looked physically unwell. But that was probably from the many weeks on inactivity. He had even told him that the doctors said his junk had shrunk! Thanatos was happy Demetri was ok it was good to have his brother alive and well.
Tragedy Repeats Itself
But it seemed, with Demetri history would always repeat itself. And a tragedy fell upon the Hatake family. It seemed like a normal day, Thanatos came back from working out, even though he wasn't a ninja it didn't mean he couldn't be fit. He neared his house seeing someone with a black cloak and a mask at his door talking to his parent. His thoughts instantly fell on Demetri."What did that idiot get himself into this time?"He asked himself with a small smirk, but his smirk was instantly wiped off when his mother fell to the floor. Crying her eyes out, a feeling sunk deep in his being. It was dread. He rushed to his mothers side asking what happened. The Anbu remained silent and his father kneeled next to him."Its about Demetri...He died on a mission...earlier today." Thanatos heard it but it didn't register completely in his mind. He just shook his head."No, you're wrong there's no way." He said completely and outright denying it. The anbu asked them to come and confirm the body. Thanatos wanted his parent to stay while he went but his mother insisted she went. When they arrived at the hospital they were taken to the morgue. A doctor took them to a table that had silver hair coming out of the edges of the cloth. Thanatos mother instantly started crying again. His father holding her tight, the doctor asked Thanatos to confirm the body. And He pulled the cover off, and Thanatos was in disbelief. There lay the body of his brother. His only sibling even though they weren't connected by blood. He fell to his knees he clenched the metal table his brother laid upon. And anger shook his entire body and for the first time ever since they were attacked by that bandit. Thanatos cried it was a silent but angry cry. His tears hit the floor making the sound of water dripping. Only footsteps broke through the dripping sound. He carried Demetri's belonging, his headband, his weapons, and his little orange book. He would always make fun of him for keeping that little thing. It was almost like a diary but he called it a journal. There was also a note Thanatos took the note and opened it reading it too himself."Remember your promise."It said. He closed his eyes remembering the promise he made. It had only been a week after Demetri had entered the academy. He woke up Thanatos late in the night."Thanatos, I'm going to be a shinobi someday...I'll be going on dangerous missions if anything ever happens to me...I want you to have my eye." Thanatos was struck mute by this he didn't know what had brought this to his brothers mind. He tried to reason with him but Demetri merely shook his head and told him to promise. Thanatos promised that he would take his brothers eyes. To fulfill their dream of becoming a great shinobi. Thanatos opened his eyes to find the medic shinobi holding another note dressed to the hospital."This is Demetri's final wish...I'm sure it corresponds with the note you received, Are you ready?"Thanatos wiped away his tears and nodded. They immediately took him and Demetri into another room for the surgery to began the implantation. Thanatos laid against the operating table as a mask was placed over his mouth and nose."Demetri...You'll become my eye, and I'll see the future for you, I shall become a great shinobi, for both of us!"
The Last Beginning
With his brothers eye now replacing the eye he lost so long ago. Thanatos has received permission to become a shinobi. Being too old to attend the academy but because of his brother he passed the exam with flying colors. Wearing Demetri's mask and the headband he wore as a shinobi which covers his real eye while leaving Demetri's green eye exposed for the world to see. He wanted them to know, that a great shinobi died. And he was to take his place and become even better fulfilling their dreams. |

The act of combining wind and water chakra in order to generate water-composed ice. This method can be performed on existing bodies of water, or by manipulating the minute amount of water molecules in the air, either way, it is an impressive and powerful feat that requires only a single hand. Ice created this way lays dormant- they are not attacks on their own.
The ice created in this method is very compact, often melted only by fire and demon techniques two [2] ranks higher than them.

Hugo grew out outside of Kumo with his mother and father. He was told that they lived alone due to people not fully understanding his father and mother. It wasn't until Hugo's bloodline really started to show itself that he understood why. his father told him how people feared their abilities and didn't understand that not all Jiongu were bad. However, that did not mean that his father didn't tell him about their bloodline and how if a Jiongu really wanted to, they could live forever. As for Hugo's mother, she was a medical ninja and married his father due to his unique abilities thanks to his bloodline. With no kids to really play with, the only forms of entertainment, were his fathers stories and his mothers medical scrolls and books. Days with be spent learning about his bloodline and nights were filled with learning the bones and other medical facts. When Hugo was of age, his parents let him go to Kumo to join the ninja academy. They told him to keep his bloodline a secret and to draw as little attention as he could from people. So Hugo did just that. Hiding his true self was a little bit harder then he thought, but he still tried his best. Now that he has graduated from the academy, he looked to become a even stronger shinobi. |

Personality: Suzume is quiet more often than not. Not because she is shy, more because she doesn't feel the need to speak up at times. Even though she is quiet, she can be relaxed and easy going around friends. Around people she has never met, she tries to be on good behavior. When it comes to training or enemies, she can be quite serious if necessary. Around people that are nice and friendly, Suzume can be friendly in a bit of a cheery way. If she feels fear then she usually doesn't show it. If she has problems, she usually keep them to herself. Suzume was born in Kumogakure, to a father that was both a shinobi and a swordsman and her mother, a regular civilian. Suzume had a fairly happy life with her parents, her mother took care of the house and her father went on missions. They would get together and spend time as family. They would even go visit her aunt that lived in the village as well. Her aunt was her father's sister, a fine shinobi and swordsman as well.
Everything was fine until Suzume was ten years old. Her father had died on a mission. No details were given of what happened on the mission, all Suzume knew for certain was that someone killed her father. For the next year, Suzume had been trying to hang out more and more with her aunt. She had inherited her father's sword and now was taking lessons from her aunt on swordplay. Yet a year after her father's death, Suzume's aunt was murdered right inside the village. No clues were left and no one had any idea what happened.
After her aunt's death, Suzume's mother was adamant about her daughter not becoming a shinobi or a swordsmen. Not that it would stop Suzume, she was still trying to learn at the academy. They fought constantly and when Suzume's mother tried to move away, Suzume stayed with her widowed uncle and cousin in Kumogakure. After that, Suzume devoted her time to her training. She is determined to become the best swordsmen and a great shinobi. |

⇥ Yukiko was born in the grand temple which sits on top of the highest mountain in the area to a man named Isamu and a woman named Sayuri. Yukiko was the only child conceived by Isamu and Sayuri; which was said to be a miracle as Sayuri was told it would be physically impossible for her to bare children due to medical complications. Because of this Yukiko was seen as the miracle child and often referred to as the "Blessed Angel" by the members of her clan and her peers. Her parents kept her inside for most of her infant life and only allowed her outside while she was accompanied by either one of them or a close family friend. She wasn't allowed to wander the temple grounds until she reached the age of eight, but because of her parents over protective attitude Yukiko didn't really know how to talk to others or make friends so she kept to herself. It took a whole year for Yukiko to actually learn how to make friends with others, but she still refrained from doing. She cherished the few friends she had as if they were the only ones she would ever have. Unfortunate her time with her friends was cut short by a Miyamoto tradition which calls for all children who have reached the age of ten to be sent out from the temple in order to help the people who need it. Yukiko and her friends where split up; sent to different villages while absolutely no way to keep in contact with the others. Many of her friends were lucky enough to be sent to a small peaceful village, but Yukiko for once in her life was not that fortunate and was sent to village that was constantly being attacked and pillaged. While in the village Yukiko lived with and old woman who was well known for her medical jutsu; it was her that Yukiko began her training as a medical ninja. She stayed in the war stricken village for the next two years of her life; helping the residents defend there home as well studying medical jutsu. But even with Yukiko's help it wasn't long before the village was overrun and villagers captured. While captured Yukiko and the old woman were forced to care for the wounded members of the invaders. But it didn't take to long before news of the small villages capture became known to the outside world. To help the small village a single shinobi was sent; a shinobi from the cloud village. It took the shinobi one hour to completely free the villagers, but the small village they lived in was destroyed in the process. Because of this they were taken into the Lightning Country as refugees. While in Lightning country Yukiko realized the good the shinobis had done and wanted to help them. It wasn't long before she joined the Hidden Cloud Village; eager to help those who needed it.

Kasumi was born to the owners of a popular flower shop in Suna. Her mother is a member of the raigyo clan, and daughter of the clan head. She married Kasumi's father, and kept his last name despite her own father's protest to keep the family name. Kasumi from a young age enjoyed being around flowers due to her parents profession. She was known as the flower child by her parents and many of the people around the village. Kasumi's parents figured she would become a Florist like them but because of her very adventurous personality, they knew she would choose something a little more difficult. Kasumi soon started attending the academy when she became 11.
In her years at the academy she studied various things of the ninja world alongside her peers. She of course was interested in Medical ninjutsu which led her to wanting to become a medical nin. As they trained in the academy practicing various techniques,Her teachers realized that she had a natrual affinity for illusionary techniques. She had noticed this as well and felt like it would be a good skill in the future so she won't become one sided. She wanted to be useful in more than one way when on a mission with her future team. She began training with ninjutsu involving flowers which led to creation of unique techniques. Kasumi had learned that it's good to have something that makes you different from the other ninja. Kasumi graduated from the academy in 5 years with flying colors and was on her way to becoming a strong kunoichi.

The Mugen were a great shinobi clan once which once fought along side their fellow shinobi from the land of clouds to defend themselves from foreign threats. Lending themselves to kumogakura for the express purpose of only defending their land rather than openly establishing a nation. the clan had scattered to the winds. Becoming shadow dwellers to an even deeper sense than that of the average hidden village. The Mugen clan had birthed many branch families in it's time of isolation, but one which held fast in service to the main branches ideals though dwindling was that of the Hansho (night). The metaphorical shadow of the Mugen clan, which would hold their ideals and carry them over the best they could, but with time the bend of time and the political sphere around the shinobi arts, and techniques drew them back to the bosom of Kumogakura. Yet in shame as not only being that of a branch family but the lowly and forever marked clansmen of the Megen whom turned their backs on the village with in its conception.
Born amongst the this branch family is the heir to their house, Yuugao Hanshou. A young girl raised for most of her life outside of the village in the plains between the desert territory between the leaf and wind villages. here in the savanna plain terrain Yuugao (Moonflower) was conceived and trained in the art of the shinobi by her parents and aunts and uncles. Given the mission to one day take her talents and knowledge of animals to establish a growth original to the Hanshou. The Hanshou house was always well versed in taming the wildlife. Domesticating and developing animals to work along side their blood line techniques to draw more life into their abilities as well as hiding the influence of human hands.
Each Hanshou is born with a predetermined kinship to a specified animal with in the world. A "shadow", so to speak, that would follow them to the bitter end loyally. Once of age they are to discover this primary shadow and establish their bond. For Yuu, her bond was in Asagao (Morning glory), A jet black kangaroo with fierce eyes not unlike her own. Though a "joey" at the time the little male kangaroo had fight in him and an impressive speed and power behind his movements. Before coming to Kumagakura to settle Yuu spent several months on her own in the desert chasing after Asagao until she made her bond and returning with him she'd proven herself ready to present herself to the Raikage. Now four years after her arrival Yuu has grown into a competent and fairly well spoken shinobi of kumogakura. Yet she prides herself in her individuality and personal agenda. Though she may be shamed by them for her heritage Yuu perceives the Mugen as a point of pride and strength. |
