Once he was all rested, it was time to continue his training. There were many more techs he had to learn, starting with some of the most basic of his bloodline ninjutu. The first to get out of the way was a shuriken technique, that would allow him to transmit magnetism from weapon to opponent. Since he had no people to try it on, he would just use it on the tree. So taking a shuriken in hand, he would magnetize it much like he'd do with the sand. When he threw it and it struck the tree, he would follow it up by throwing another shuriken that wasn't magnetized. It would head right for the tree, sinking into the part he'd altered.

The next tech that he was going to learn was even more simple then the last, requiring him to only gather iron sand to his fingertip and shoot it. Once he'd mastered the idea of magnetizing things, the rest came easy. All he needed to do was draw the sand to a fingertip, then shoot it out. The target he was choosing was that same tree, aiming his finger at it. When the sand was at the tip, he unleashed it. It sped across the area, and struck the side of the tree with a thud. It left a crack and splintered the bark, a small amount of sand pouring out from the point it entered. He would do it a few more times, seeing how fast he could fire. Then going to how many he could fire at once. By the time he was done, the tree was riddled with holes where he'd struck it. All the holes were clumped together, as he was trying to go more for accuracy so that he could effectively use it.
Hagane Dama [ Iron Bullet ]: Learned
To perfect the next one, he would have to get a little more creative. It was one that would be hard to do without the aid of another person, but he felt like he'd come up with a good enough idea. Taking one of his shurikens and magnetizing it, he would cut himself across the cheek. He would then take out another one, and throw it away from him. It would perform a u-turn mid-air, and come back towards him. This was because he'd magnetized himself so that he could effectively try to do this technique. Thrusting out his hand, he would focus the chakra into it. The result would be that the shuriken would be deflected, but only slightly. Having to bob his head to the left, he avoided being cut but only barely. It would seemed he did not put enough chakra into his hand to deflect it, realizing it would need to vary depending on the force of the attack coming at him. He'd been dumb enough to assume it was a one size fits all type, and that he wouldn't need to adjust. So he would try it again, this time making sure to put the right amount in his hand. The shuriken was thrown, and he would stand there waiting. When it was close enough, he would throw out his hand. The result was that the shuriken would fly in the opposite direction, successfully deflected. He did it a few more times just to be sure, but each would end in the same result. Confident that he had a good feel, he would move on to the next one.
Teikou no Michi [ Electrical Resistance Method ]: Learned
Now it was time for him to try and make a clone of his own, using his sand though instead of the way he'd learned in the academy. He had to think on this one a little bit, wondering how he was going to do it. Sure the normal way was simple, he just made a few handsigns and created a clone. This would be much different though, having to create it entirely out of iron sand. In theory it would probably be something simple, doing the hand signs and then having the clone show up. But with the iron sand, he wasn't exactly sure how the outcome would be. He would try it anyways, making the proper hand signs. The clone would come up from the ground, completely composed of iron sands. The only problem was that it was too fat to be passable, so he would have to destroy the thing. Once it was gone, he would try it again. This time though, it would come out too thin looking as if he was made out of twigs instead of sand. He would take a break from it, to collect his thoughts and really focus on what needed to be done. After a long pause from it, he would try once more. Making the hand sign, he would try once more. To his surpise, the thing would come out exactly looking like him. A mirror image to be exact, a passable copy of the original. Now he was going to go a step further, applying another ability. Taking the clone, he would make some more hand signs as it would begin to morph. The idea was to change it's shape and appearance, into something completely different. It wasn't a terribly hard thing to do, just shifting the sand around to get the desired effect. Just to test it out, he'd tried to change it into another dog. But he would get much of the same results as before, making something that hardly resembled the animal. Though he'd got what he wanted out of it, being able to change its shape at will.

_ While watching the other genin Yukiko found herself with a bit more time then she had expected. This time could be used to practice while she scouted the rest of the genin. She reached into her pouch and removed a scroll baring the Miyamoto clan symbol. She unrolled it before laying it down in a visible area before beginning to read again. The next jutsu which she need to learn would be Konton: Sou no Suji, this move would effectively raise the physical defensive of the linked target. She quickly read through the requirements of the jutsu before seeking another shinobi to attempt it on. The first thing that was necessary was to use Mukei Enko to create the link between them. She then quickly formed the hand seals need to preform Sou no Suji, making a small error in hand seals as well as adding the incorrect amount of chakra. [ LM: 1 / 3 ] After a few seconds Yukiko herself could easily tell that she had done something incorrectly. She quickly reread the scroll, or at least the hand seal portion, believing the her problem had been with only her hand seals. Once she had reread that section she was read to try again. Yukiko quickly formed the correct hand seals, but once again added the incorrect amount of chakra. [ LM: 2 / 3 ] She gave off a sigh of frustration after realizing that once again her attempt had ended in failure, but it did give her a clear sight of the problem. She now had to check the amount of chakra being added as she had already checked her hand seals. Yukiko once again read through the scroll, this time focusing on the section; then after reading this section over completely reading though everything just in case. Once rereading the full scroll again Yukiko quickly forms and needed hand seals then adds the correct amount of chakra in order to active the jutsu. [ LM: 3 / 3 ] Once she was certain that the jutsu had been a success she simply canceled it, taking a deep breath before to read the scroll again heading to the second jutsu on the list, Konton: Usagi no Ashi. This was another move which would grant the selected target a bit of a speed boost for a short period of time. She read through the hand seals carefully making sure that she wouldn't make the same mistake as she had done before on her first attempt, but had forgotten about the second time and didn't read to carefully through the chakra requirements. Yukiko quickly formed her hand seals then added the incorrect amount of chakra. [ RF: 1 / 3 ] Both her and the shinobi who offered there service to help her train paused for a few seconds before he attempt to quickly move from side to side, only to find out the jutsu had not worked. Instead of reading over the scroll, Yukiko simply opted to try the jutsu again and change her chakra level until she had gotten the technique correct. She took a deep breath then quickly formed the needed hand seals again adding a bit more chakra into the mixture, but it still wasn't enough. [ RF: 2 / 3 ] And once again the jutsu she had attempted to preform failed again, making this the second time. Once again the shinobi tried to quickly move from side to side only to once again see no change in speed, but Yukiko could feel it she was getting close. This time, Yukiko didn't bother to take a deep breath and simply clapped her hands together before quickly forming the hand seals again then adding the correct amount of chakra, activating the jutsu. [ RF: 3 / 3 ] The shinobi quickly moved from side to side a bit faster then they had before which reassured Yukiko that her jutsu had worked properly. As she had done before she turned her attention to the scroll again, reading the next jutsu on the list, Jisan Itami. This was a rather straight forward jutsu that would allow the user to take the damage received by the target, but there would be a price, the user would take slightly more damage then the target would have. Yukiko quickly read through the scroll paying more attention to the chakra requirements. She quickly formed the incorrect hand seals then added the correct amount of charka. [ TP: 1 / 3 ] As to be expected the first attempted ended in a failure, but unknowingly Yukiko attempted to test it by lightly punching the Shinobi in the shoulder. Once they realized that it didn't work, she turned her attention back to the scroll. Reading it over again, Yukiko still didn't notice her problem and foolishly attempted to preform the jutsu again; quickly forming the incorrect hand seals and adding her chakra. [ TP: 2 / 3 ] Once again she tested her jutsu to only to find out that it had failed. Yukiko had now finally decided to completely read through the scroll, finding out that she had been using the wrong hand seals to complete the jutsu. Once she had finished reading through the scroll and figured out her mistake she was ready to try again. Yukiko quickly formed the needed hand seals then added her chakra to activate the jutsu. [ TP: 3 / 3 ] Yukiko once again tested the jutsu to make sure it work, lightly punching the shinobi in the shoulder. As she did, Yukiko paused and rubbed her shoulder lightly. "Ow." She said as the shinobi couldn't help, but chuckle. She then turned her attention to the next jutsu on the list, Bunpai Itami. This was similar to the jutsu just learned except can redistribute the damage taken between all linked targets, but the user must retain at least a portion of the damage. Yukiko quickly read though the the jutsu, taking in little from each section as she attempted to preform the jutsu. She quickly formed the incorrect hand seals then added the incorrect amount of chakra. [ SP: 1 / 3 ] Once again she attempted to test only to find out again the it hadn't worked. She paused taking a deep breath and returning her attention to her scroll reading over the hand seal requirements. Once she had reread that section she was ready to try again. Yukiko quickly formed then needed hand seal, but still added the incorrect amount of chakra. [ SP: 2 / 3 ] She felt as if something had gone wrong so she didn't bother to test the jutsu again. Once again Yukiko turned her attention back to scroll, completely reading through the jutsu requirement. After finishing rereading the scroll and discovering her mistake she was ready to try again. Yukiko quickly formed the needed the hand seals then added her chakra, activating the jutsu. [ SP: 3 / 3 ] After testing the jutsu to make sure it was in effect, Yukiko released it then turned her attention to the next jutsu on the list, Go Itami. This jutsu was actually almost identical to Jisan Itami expect in reverse. The user would pass there pain to any linked target. Yukiko took her time, slowly reading through the jutsu's required hand seals and chakra. Before standing up and quickly forming the needed hand seals then adding her chakra, activating the jutsu. To make sure it was active Yukiko allowed the Shinobi to punch her in the shoulder before releasing the jutsu. [ GP: 1 / 1 ] Happy with her last jutsu being a success in the first try she was ready to attempt another jutsu. The next jutsu would be Kizu Tsuukou, this technique would allows the user to transfer the existing wounds of a target to themselves. Yukiko read the scroll out loud so that her companion would known what was need of them. The shinobi took out a small kunai, cutting lightly across there forearm. Once she was finishing reading the scroll she stood put quickly forming the need hand seals then adding the need amount of chakra, activating the jutsu. As the jutsu was activated the small wound on the forearm seem to vanish from the arm of the shinobi then appear in the same location on Yukiko's arm. [ WP: 1 / 1 ] Once the jutsu had run its course, she turned her attention to the next jutsu on the list, which was Wanryoku. This move would increase the physical capability of a target. This seemed rather simple, it would be similar to the first two jutsu that she had tried earlier. When she finished reading through the jutsu requirement, she formed the hand seals then added the correct amount of chakra, activating the jutsu. To test the jutsu the Shinobi punched the ground below him, creating a sizable crater beneath himself. [ BS: 1 / 1 ] The last jutsu in time would naturally wear off in time. While they waited for the effects of the jutsu to fade, Yukiko began to read through the next jutsu on her scroll, Earth's Endurance. This jutsu would sharply physical stamina of the target; this would allow the target to exceed there limits. She began to read through the jutsu's requirements for hand seals as well as chakra. Once she was ready, Yukiko quickly formed her hand seals and added her chakra, activating the jutsu. [ EE: 1 / 1 ] Yukiko now read to the next jutsu on the scroll, Konton: Tannaru Chisoku. This jutsu would act as a stronger form of Usagi no Ashi, giving it's user a sharp increase in speed. But for this the user would have to be kneeling. Yukiko quickly read through the jutsu's requirement before kneeling down. She quickly formed the needed hand seal, but added the incorrect amount of chakra. [ SS: 1 / 2 ] The shinobi moved from side to side only to notice that the jutsu hadn't been activated. Yukiko frowned as she realized her jutsu had not worked. She once again read through the scroll, but this time more slower taking her time. It wasn't to long before she was ready to try again. Yukiko then turned her attention the the shinobi as she took a deep breath, quickly forming the hand seals then adding the correct amount of chakra, activating the jutsu. [ SS: 2 / 2 ] The Shinobi quickly moved from side to side to insure that the jutsu had been preformed correctly before Yukiko turned her attention to the scroll again. The next jutsu would be Butai Engi, or Element Amplification. As the name suggested the jutsu would sharply increase the elemental ability of the selected target. Yukiko quickly read her way through the jutsu requirements and instructions not paying to much attention the hand seals before standing up and trying it herself. She formed the hand seals, two of which were in correct before adding her chakra. [ EA: 1 / 2 ] To test the jutsu the shinobi attempted a simple fireball technique. When they noticed that her jutsu didn't work, she turned her attention back to scroll carefully rereading it. She quickly formed the correct hand seals and adding her chakra, activating the jutsu. To make sure the jutsu had worked the shinobi once again used the fireball technique, this time noticing a great improvement. [ EA: 2 / 2 ]
It was time to switch gears it seemed, having to make use of a different set of skills now. With his tanto out and in his hand, he was attempting to make it into a more deadly weapon. The idea was to focus some of his raiton chakras into it, to make it a much more deadly blade. It was supposed to make cutting things much easier, and that was always a good thing. Focusing on the blade in his hand, he would channel his chakra into it. There really was no way to tell if he'd done it right, since it could just be glowing cause of all the chakra around it, but not actually getting sharper. So he would go to a tree, and unleash a slash. It was a simple slash, with not much power behind it. When he saw that it went through the tree with relative ease, he knew he'd done it right. Now that he had figured out how to coat the blade in the raiton, it was time to do something else with it. Stabbing forward into the tree, he would sink the blade only a few inches into the tree. The chakra was still around it so it was an easy thing to do. Now he was trying to get the chakra to explode outward in a blast of raiton, acting almost like an exploding tag. It took a few tries, but eventually there would be the sound of a small explosion. Pulling his blade out and looking in the tree, he would see that he had hollowed out the inside of the tree with the explosion. Stabbing once more he would try to adjust the force of the explosion. Another small explosion would take place, and he would see that the hollowed out part would get bigger. Wanting to test its full capabilities, he stabbed in one more time. This time there was a bigger explosion, and when he pulled the sword out he could see through the tree. Apparently it had blown a hole clear through the tree, proving to be a successful endeavor. Continuing with the theme of working with his blade, he would turn his attention to one more ninjutsu. This would increase the length of his blade, still having it coated with his own chakra. It would prove to be a useful technique in his mind, giving him more range in crucial moments. Focusing the chakra into his blade, it would glow white. Extending it now, he would increase the blade by a foot. The weird part about it, is that despite the increased length it still felt like the normal blade. Swinging around he would attempt to get a feel for it, noting that not much changed. He would cut at the tree he had been making his target, taking out a slice from the bark. It would have been nothing special, if not for the fact that he was a foot away from where his blade's reach normally would have ended. Experimenting he would change the length of the blade, seeing how far it could extend. He found that depending on the amount he put into it, that it would react that way. When he focused really hard, he could extend it a couple feet, but it was hard work. So when he put the amount he assumed he would use in a battle, he found that it was extending maybe two feet tops. He was finding that most of the techniques passed through his bloodline were weapon based. Another thing being they were based in the element of raiton, which was something he was already used to. Moving on from his weapon based techniques, it was time to dive into the more harder ones. This one from his understanding was something that was a little more advanced. It would require a lot of focus to pull off, but when done correctly it was very useful. Looking at the scrolls his uncle had given him, he was studying them carefully to make sure everything was correct. What was needing to be done was that he was supposed to create a clone of white light. Scratching his head as he read it, he wasn't really sure what he was supposed to do. It sounded like he was supposed to take the energy that he normally put into his weapon, but use it instead to create a clone. Having read all he could read, it was time he decided to try it. So stepping a few feet from the scroll he prepared to begin his attempts at it. At first it was hard to just manifest the chakra without a weapon in hand, but he found if he pictured the outline of a body to pour it into it got much easier. The first time he did it, the clone had looked pretty good, but he was unable to maintain it. It disappeared just as quickly as he had brought it. The trick was to pour enough into it so that it kept the shape, and had enough to fuel itself instead of just disappearing. So a few more attempts, and the clone would last a bit longer. He was making progress it seemed, slowly but surely. Looking back at the scroll he would see that it was able to produce an attack of it's own. It was only one attack, but that was what changed the tides of battles. That filled him with a new vigor, as he wanted to get this down more then ever now. Even though he really hadn't delved into raiton techniques besides his own, just getting the clone was enough for now. So when he had manifested one, and it stuck around for a long time he couldn't help but let out a whoop. Proud of himself, he was grinning from ear to ear. It was something to be very proud of he thought, wondering what kind of praise he would get from his parents if they were still. Wherever they were though, he knew they would be just as proud as he was. So banishing the clone, he would take a short rest. It was tough work figuring this stuff out, but he was getting it. Taking one last look at the scroll, he would find the last ninjutsu he could learn. This one seemed much more intimidating then the last, looking like it would require a combination of a few techs. Getting his sword out again, he would look at the scroll to fully understand it. If what he was reading was right, then it would seem he would be capable of launching waves off his blade. That seemed pretty cool to him, a grin coming to his face at the thought of using it. Though he would not get ahead of himself, knowing he would need to learn it before he could use it. So going back by the tree that had become his battering mate, he would bring his sword about. Focusing his energy into the blade, he would get it to glow white. That was just the first part, the next part wasn't going to be as easy he knew. Making a cutting motion, he was trying to launch the collected energy. But the problem was is that it didn't leave the sword, only stayed there. He neeed to find a nice medium between collecting it, and then trying to separate it from the blade. Going back to what was running through his mind through the previous, he would try it one more time. The results were what he wanted, as a white raiton blast launched off the blade. It moved very fast, hitting the tree only a few feet in front of him in the blink of an eye. Pieces of wood would shatter and splinter off it. He had to shield his eyes for a moment to avoid any stray pieces from striking him. This was one of the more cooler techs he would learn he thought, smiling like a child at the idea of it. A few more slashes would result in the tree suffering a few more wounds. But after he had done four, he would go for one more only to find it not work. So there was a limit to the amount of cuts he could do. That was good to know, since he would feel like a fool to try and use it more then he could in a fight. When the energy around the sword subsided, he would sheathe it. All in all this session was successful, and he had learned a lot. It was time for a break though, so that was what he would do, not wanting to exert too much energy.

Eihwaz knew that her brother would try to keep his distance. growing up with him he had never been good in a fight up close. dodging out from lelouch's right side trying to flank him and threw two kunai aimed at just beside both shoulders so that if lelouch dodged to either side he would get pegged but also if he stayed where he was going to get skinned on his shoulders by the kunai.

Lelouch suddenly stopped and went down on one knee, twirling his kinai and grabbing the ring with his pinky while drawing an arrow and taking aim. Kunai sailed over his head and Lelouch let fly his own projectile towards his sister. Pulling out yet another arrow he knocked it and drew ready to fire again.

Lelouch sighed and carved this moment into his memory. Victory was sweet, collecting his things he smiled and couldn't help but wonder how long would this last? Replacing his weapons Lelouch turned to his sister. “Then what now? Or are we finished here?” he asked.

He had taken a pretty good break, having regained most of the energy spent from before. Now that he had worked on his bloodlines, it was time to focus on the more general jutsus. There were a few he had in mind that he wanted, so those were the ones he was going to work on. The first was simple enough, just to construct a clone made entirely out of raiton. It was much like a normal clone, though this was using the lightning element. He knew how to make a clone, the only hard part was consisting it of the right element. Making a hand sign, a clone would appear before him. It was made of lightning, but it was not very passable for a clone. It flickered in and out of existence, not having a real solid foundation. It would eventually disappear, and he would have to try again by making hand signs again. This time the clone would last, and it would run around him to show off how well it was made. Just to be sure he did it right, he gave it a left hook. The result was a numbing sensation shooting up his arm from the punch, a result of its passive abilties of being made of lightning. He would banish the clone while he let his arm regain some feeling. It was a success, and now it was time to move on to the next. Once he figured out how to make lightning clones, it was time to add a twist to it. The plan he had was a devious one, using another jutsu to compound on top of his clones. What he was told was that there was a way to explode the clones. To him that seemed very useful, so it was one he wanted to learn. But first he would have to make the clones, making a hand sign and summoning one. Once it was before him, he would attempt to remember the process he needed to do to get it to explode. The first attempt was a failure, as he and the clone would just stare at each other. Letting out a sigh, he would rub his temples in a bit of frustration. It wasn't the easiest thing in the world to do, so he shouldn't have been mad. But he was, and there was nothing he could do about it. So doing a few more hand signs he would come out with a few more failures. He was not putting enough chakra into it to get it to explode, and it was obvious. The next time he tried he made sure to put in more then enough. The result was that it would explode, releasing a a wave of electricty in the area of the explosion. Those two jutsus were squared away, and now it was time to use one a little bit more straight forward. He was trying to learn one that had a lot of offensive potential. The jutsu was a beam of lightning that was going to inflict a lot of pain. He knew it would be hard though, so he needed a lot of focus. Channeling chakra into his hand, he would thrust it out from him. The idea was to have a beam of lightning shoot out, but instead nothing happened. He had figured he was not putting enough chakra into it, so he would try again with more. This time he managed a small beam, but from having witnessed it from others he knew it wasn't right. The beam was too small, and when it struck the tree it just fizzled out. What he wanted was to punch a hole right through the tree, turning it into ash. Putting much more chakra, he would get a much bigger beam. From there on it was just testing it out to see which amount was the right, to get the beam he desired. The tree would pay the ultimate price once he figured it out, as it was struck and would just explode into splinters. Smiling from ear to ear he was pleased with himself. He had enough of the lightning based elements, now moving on towards the water element. These were weird jutsus to him, not really comfortable with the idea of spitting stuff up. But he knew he would need to do it for the jutsus, so he would just suck it up and get it over with. This one specifically was more to trap someone, to set up more attacks if need be. The target for this jutsu was to create a sticky liquid from his mouth, to cover an area. If done correctly, he would trap the opponent and expose them to more attacks. Going through the correct hand signs, he would feel something coming up from his gullet. It felt like vomit, but he knew that wasn't it. Instead the liquid would spit out from his mouth and cover a small area. Just by looking at it he knew it wasn't enough, having shied away at the last second. This time though he would not back off, as he would do the hand signs again. When it came up, he did not flinch or shy away. Instead of he would finish it and see the jutsu through completely. The liquid would shoot out, and the area was much bigger that it covered. He'd done it right this time, and so he tested it out. Stepping on it with his left foot, he found that it stuck to him. It was rather hard to get off, and he only did it by pulling away with all his force. If he got caught in this in battle, he knew he personally was in trouble. Having gotten used to the idea of shooting water out of his mouth, the next jutsu came a little easier. He was going to just expel a strong jet stream of water from his mouth. Performing the hand seal, his mouth would puff up as the water would come up from his stomach. Then he would spit it out, as he traveled from his mouth quite a ways. As with all the other times he tried, it was not as potent as he wanted. So he would continue to try it over and over, until he would get the desired effect. He was using a tree again as the target, though it was not getting as beat up as the others. The water would hit it and splash, but that was it. Nothing was really damaged on the tree, and he knew he wasn't using enough force. Not stopping at it, he kept forming the seals and shooting the water out. With each passing attempt, the stream would get bigger and more forceful. It was like the lightning beam, but instead of his hand it was his mouth. So he put as much force as he could, and the result was very positive. The tree would have its bark sheared away from the force of the water, leaving its wood bare. Having felt like he'd done it enough to get a good feel, he would stop his session right there. All in all it was successful, and he knew he would come away with some good jutsus. Walking into the Academy, Kenji would be prepared to utilize the mouths on his hands. He knew of what to do with them, now it would just take practice in order to perfect the method. He would begin to try and master his first bloodline technique, Bakuton: Kure-Hoshuu Kuchi. This would aid him in trying to meld chakra into the hands on his palms. Without this, a ninja from the Bakuton clan would not be able to properly utilize their techniques without it backfiring.
Okay, let's get started... I shall perfect this art... With that said, Kenji would begin to feel his palms starting to chew, molding the clay coming out of his hands. Chakra would be placed, at the same time, and Kenji would begin to cringe. The feeling of something moving and oozing out of his palm gave him an uneasy feeling. However, he would begin to feel better when he looked at his palm and say a clay figurine. He would begin to look at the figure and get an idea.
This idea would spawn inside of Kenji's head, and he would throw the clay figurine at the wall, and a small explosion would occur. Nothing major, just a piece of the wall being damaged. Kenji would know that he has a powerful Kekkei Genkai in his hands, literally. He would begin to laugh, knowing that such power doesn't come without great destruction. For some reason, Kenji was really into the whole destroying aspect of fighting.

With haste, Kenji learned his next technique.
Bakuton: Baku Tama learned. (0/0 (-3 because of academy, personal bloodlone, and ninjutsu reduction)
Beginning the training, he would delve into his next technique, which would be, Bakuton: C1. This would involve Kenji to create clay in the mouths in his palms and charge them with explosive chakra. The mouths would then mold the clay into spiders. They would begin to hop out of his hands, crawling over near a wall, which as a little far away from Kenji. Afterwards, an explosion would occur at the wall, this one being much larger in magnitude. Kenji would begin to laugh, knowing that he has perfected another art.
This art that he has finally learned was the molding of clay, not into explosions, but into art. This would please Kenji, as destruction was in his nature. He was unsure if it was his Kekkei Genkai that would make him this way, or just the fuel of the explosive chakra. His laughter would begin to grow, and he would look about to make sure no one would hear him. He woudl set himself up for the next technique on the list. This would ensure that all he would have to do is begin the training.
Bakuton: C1 learned. (2/2 (-3 because of personal bloodline reduction, ninjutsu reduction, and dojo reduction)
The next technique in lone would be Nendo Bunshin no Jutsu, which would allow Kenji to make a clone, from clay, that would look exactly like himself. This would let him catch opponents in this clay and either make the clay explode, or catch the opponent in another technique. Beginning the technique, Kenji would begin having his palms mold some clay until it was spat up on the floor. This would then grow.
A model image of himself would grow out of clay and he would look at it. Every feature would be correct on the model, and he would smile. His artwork was beginning to blossom. This clone would then begin to walk around, and do other things like jumping and such. Kenji seemed to have control over the clay, and this would allow him to feel glad as well. His techniques were beginning to lose what they were lacking, and that was finesse.

Kenji also learned how to implant explosive clay into his clones, causing them to be explosive on impact.

Kenji would begin his training with the Bakuton: Kibaku Mappa technique. This technique would involve the creation of minions to combat the opponent. Kenji would think to himself, how would I control these minions if I don't have a direct line... I got it! He would succumb to the idea that as long as he had a connection to the minions, that he would be able to go ahead. He would have to think of a way though in order to make a connection. This would be a somewhat grueling process for him.
After a comple of minutes of trial and error, Kenji would finally come to a conclusion. I cannot make a completely invisible thread of clay, but it should at least keep me connected. He would begin to preform the technique, which would dump massive amounts of clay from his hands, and he would have a small thin line connecting him to the clay. They would then form into a weird and misshapen thing. It would be abstract and obscure, which Kenji wasn't used to. However, even the most obscure things could be art, and Kenji was satisfied with this.
The clone would seem disgusting and most likely just flat out wrong to others; however, it didn't have a primary purpose to serve as art. Its only purpose would be to get up close and attempt to melee the opponent. Trying to distract the opponent would most likely be the most this could do, because skilled Taijutsu users would be able to escape it. The distractions could prove most useful if used in a situation along with a Genjutsu, so that an opponent would be caught off guard.
Bakuton: Kibaku Mappa learned. (3/3 (-4 because of personal bloodline reduction, ninjutsu reduction, and dojo reduction)
The next technique in line to be learned was Bakuton: Tekidan Sanjaku. This technique would involve the user creating a whip out of clay. This would probably prove more useful if the user could tactically catch the opponent with this. It would most likely not be effective if just trying to use without conjunction of another technique. Kenji would make a clone from his clay, not making it explosive so he wouldn't harm himself. The clone would go to stand a ways away from Kenji.
Creating the clone, Kenji would begin to now create the whip. This would involve him chewing the clay into his hands yet again, and regurgitating a long whip from his hands. Cocking his hand back in a fast manner, he would intensely whip it so that it would surround the opponent. This would cause them to not be able to move. Kenji would have his clone encased in his clay. This... is for becoming almighty... The clay would then explode, releasing a massive explosion that would take out a good majority of the academy.
Kenji would finally perfect the whip, and he would begin laughing. This laughter would be a sign of him gaining power. Some others might find this to be a weird ritual, but it would be in the sadistic nature of Kenji that he would continue to do so. His laughter would grow, and he would want to continue on with his teachings. Him learning his clans kekkei genkai would suffice enough as a token to his village.
Bakuton: Tekidan Sanjaku learned. (3/3 (-4 because of personal bloodline reduction, ninjutsu reduction, and dojo reduction)
Kenji would then begin on the next technique, which would be the Bakuton: C2. This would begin the training of a technique where he could summon a powerful entity that can preform a multitude of functions. It could be used as a dragon, a bird, or something similar that could allow him to have an advantage over his opponent. The flight could also give Kenji an advantage as he would have optimal view of his opponent.
Kenji would attempt to begin the making of the clay within his palms. This would allow him the necessary amount of clay and chakra, in order to make this vile beast. It would make him tired, and he wouldn't know what to do at first because this would require a massive amount of chakra in order to create the clay. His body would begin to feel extremely tired. Damn... This would give him the necessary motivation to continue with this technique.
He would finally get the hands to regurgitate the clay, and it would begin to formulate. It would be difficult to mold because of the vast amounts that kept pouring out of his palms. He would begin to sweat heavily. This feeling that was overcoming him would give him the most uneasy way of preforming this technique. He knew to endure it, as it was the only way to finalize the technique.
After almost perfecting the technique, it would finally begin to take shape, and he would begin to laugh as he was heavily panting. The art was beginning to finally look as if he created it. He wouldn't feel so sure at first, but he knew that with time, it would take the shape of what he wanted it to. This shape would consist of a dragon, and Kenji would like this. He wanted his art to be powerful, and intimidate the enemy.
The final part of the technique would begin to unfold. The dragon would complete its form, and Kenji would look at it. It would look at him, and he would sit in anticipation. It had a mind of its own, and Kenji knew that this was a dangerous technique, and he would have to use it in moderation. This could possibly mean the destruction of the entire section of the village, knowing that this is his home, and he would try to preserve it.

As Kenji ventured toward the top of the mountain, he could see the entirety of which he ventured to get up here. He could see the beach and he could see the jungle, and the mountain area as well. He would laughingly say to himself, “I can even see the crab I stepped on.”Kenji would turn around and see that he had one more milestone to cover, and that was to climb the hill that apparently stood between him and his power.
He would walk to it, making sure that he was ready for anything that could come at him. If his body wasn’t properly prepared, then he could face death, or worse, falling off of the summit and someone seeing him. It would make him quiver a bit just at the thought of it and he would keep his eyes open for anything that might bring him great death. The walk to the hill wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be.
The hill wasn't lined with any vegetation, or anything that may provide any type of sustenance. Kenji’s stomach would growl and he would feel is stomach for a bit, knowing that he needed something, otherwise he would get exhausted very quickly. This was not a good feeling for him, he was used to being full at all times when he was at home. It wouldn’t make sense why this power had to be all the way up at the top of such a high place.
And there were even clouds that formed a ring around the top of the mountain. He would think something suspicious about that in a sense that something could and should be guarding this. It would make it fun for him. Coming to the top he would pass through the clouds. It would feel like he was literally passing through a blanket before he reached the other side. He would see a long path that would lead to a tree that had three fruit on it.
Well, I am hungry, I guess I could use something. It then dawned on Kenji… Why would there be a random tree on the top of a high hill, on a summit, on a high mountain, in a steamy jungle, and on a stupid beach? He thought, maybe I was supposed to get something to eat before fighting whatever was protecting the power. Obviously, Kenji didn't get the concept that the fruit that were right in front of him were the source of the power that he was looking for. His father would look down upon him and just shake his head while placing his palm into his face.
Bakuton: Hedoro learned. (5/5 (-4 because of personal bloodline reduction, ninjutsu reduction, and dojo reduction)
Kenji would begin to approach the tree as he thought, “Maybe I should stretch before I do anything. Like father used to say, never eat if you didn’t stretch. The stomach couldn’t hold as much.” Kenji would begin to stretch on the spot, doing leg pulls and are stretches. He even got down to do push-ups and some sit-ups. Maybe he didn’t know the difference between stretches and conditioning workouts; however, he was a strong adversary, no matter how much of a derp he could be at times.
Kenji would stop stretching and would walk toward the fruit a little more when he also notices that the clouds were beginning to shift. “Something is going to come up here.” Kenji would have thought as he assumed a battle stance. He didn’t want to talk because he knew that the oxygen was scarce up here and he could really ware himself out talking and such. The clouds would begin to shift some more until they began to swirl themselves into a sphere that brought itself in front of the tree.
“Maybe the fruit was the one thing that could grant me the power father was talking about.” Kenji’s father would look down on him and finally nod his head. The sphere was beginning to take a shape but it was too soon to tell what it was about to become. The paws would take form along with a head as well. A pair of long sharp sabre teeth would sprout from the top jaws of the beast and its entire body would take form at this point.
Kenji would look at it and clear his mind. With anything at hand, he would have to fight this thing. Not only did he want the power, he was hungry, so he really wanted one of those fruits. Kenji would begin to walk toward the beast and circle around him. If he was able to revert to its primal instincts, maybe it would psyche it out just as much as it thought it was psyching him out. Kenji would twitch every so often to see if the animal had any reaction, and it stayed perfectly in composure.
They were both locked with the eyes. Not only was this about to be a test of strength, but a staring contest as well. Kenji would keep on staring at him until he couldn’t stare anymore. This beast was born from the clouds, it had no need to blink. Kenji would get enraged and begin to clench his fist up. The beast was speaking through its eyes, stating that it could stop him from getting the fruit. If he didn’t try hard enough, he would die here. This would be his final resting ground.

Kenji would finally awake from his dream,and there would be screaming coming from outside. Using one of his new jutsu's he learned he would begin to preform one of his new jutsu's...
xxxxxx something seemed wrong with him. As if there was a heavy burden on his shoulder. Which darkened his entire personality. he held a katana in his hand. He had been told about a bukijutsu that said those who used this bukijutsu were demons themselves. This interested him he was going to learn and master this style.
He opened up the scroll for it he looked at the first thing. He needed to practice the basics with one sword. He had a sword to start with, He began to practice with the single sword. He was slashing. hacking and slicing all the dummies in his view. He got a good hold of using the sword.

Gives the user the basic tools needed to become proficent in the unique style of the Cursed Three. • Required to learn single sword techniques.
After getting used to using the single sword Thanatos decided it was time to learn techniques for this style. He looked at the first technique. He needed to listen to the breath of his opponent and then rapidly unsheathed, attack then resheathed his blade. Thanatos made two clones they were gonna help him train.
He needed a breathing opponent to listen to, the dummies would not help him here. The clones stood there with their single katanas as well. One suddenly charged Thanatos waited trying to listen to his opponents breath. He thought he had it and he was ready but then he lost concentration and couldn't do it.
At the last second he reach up with his puppet arm and stopped the blade. The clone nodded and back away. Thanatos took a breath to relax himself and be able to focus. He nodded letting the other clone know he was ready.
The clone nodded back and charged at Thanatos. Thanatos waited for him like before holding the hilt of his blade in its sheath. As the clone came closer Thanatos listened in to its breath. Then right as the clone was going to strike Thanatos unsheathed the his sword knocked his clones sword away and resheathed his own sword in a flash. It was almost to fast to see.

Thanatos nodded to his clones, they then got out of battle stances and waited till they would be needed again. Thanatos looked at the bukijutsu scroll and read the next technique in the style. He decided he would hold the sword in his left hand which was his puppet hand.
And then he would grip his wrist with his right hand for support since his puppet arm would deal a stronger blow. He walked over to a dummy and stared it down. He had been told that if he focused on something that he hated he could focus harder and do what he needed.
He looked at the dummy in front of him. He focus on it and the thing he hated the most. Two faces popped up when was very recognizable by him. The other was shadowed over, he had no idea who this other person he hated looked like.
But he did want to kill them with everything he had within him. He held his sword in front of him with his puppet arm. Then with his right hand he placed it on his puppet wrist for support. Then he leaped high into the air, he could feel the hate inside of him. He wished that the person he was envisioning slashing was actually there and he would bring defeat down upon them.
Everything seemed to slow down as he was heading towards the dummies. He knew he needed to get stronger so that this could acuatally happen. Then for him time sped up again and he slashed down on the dummy. The slash it made was deep and would have done substantial damage if it were flesh. He could see some of his chakra lingering on the spot where he slashed as it vanished.
Hiryuu Kaen [ Flying Dragon Impulse ] Rank: D :: Complex Description: Using one sword wielded in his left hand or with his right hand gripping his left wrist for support [ or vice-versa ], the user jumps high up into the air and slashes his opponent. After slashing them, the user's opponent then goes numb from where they were slashed because the user embedded some of his own Chakra within that spot.
Thanatos was satisfied with his last techinque mastery. He needed to move on to other things. He reopened the bukijutsu scroll and looked for the next technique. He read over the technique.
He would place the sword on his shoulder and then while slashing down he would release his chakra with it. Creating a wave of chakra to attack his opponent. It could catch someone off guard if used at the right moment. He began practicing the move because he noticed how if it was on hi shoulder if he didn't do it correctly then he would slice off an hear or something.
He didn't care what people thought back then. He would not give his ear as present to anyone,even if he did cut it off. So he practiced not slicing his ear off when he slashed down. Making sure to find the perfect spot to rest his blade on his shoulder.
He would then quickly slash down. He practiced this for a while. His clones that he had created jutsu watched what he was doing. They didn't want to exert to much energy or they would poof away and be useless.
Thanatos had been practicing and finally felt comfortable with the moves. He first placed the blade on his shoulder. He actually looked pretty badass doing this. Even the clones thought so, but it also made him look a bit dark. He then brought his sword down with alot of force releasing some of his chakra along with the slash a single spiraling wave of chakra shot out from the attack.
San-Juu-Roku Pondo Hou [ Single Sword Rising Phoenix ] Rank: D :: Complex Description:The user holds his blade in his hand over his shoulder and then swings down. Then as he slashes he releases some of his Chakra in his Swords causing them to create a single spiraling Chakra wave. • Effective range: Three meters.
Thanatos finished with stage two pretty quickly. He had not anticipated him to finish it like that. Maybe he was just a natural at this demonic style as people say. This made him smirk a little, he would master then style he already knew it.
He opened the scroll again and looked at the new stage. He needed to start practicing with two swords otherwise known as dual wield. He raised a hand and one of his hands tossed their sword to him. He held the sword in his hand.
Now he was holding one in each. He wondered when he would be able to hold the next one. He saw that it was currently not within his reach. He would need to be a chunnin to learn the next stage, He sighed at that.
That third sword would help him alot it would be something hard to adapt to in a battle situation and would leave the enemy open for unorthodox attacks. He decided there was nothing he could do for now he would just have to kick a** in the exams and be a chunin. He then focused on now training with his second blade.
He soon realized how difficult it was to hold two blades at once. He wondered how people didn't accidentally stab themselves with their own swords. He felt like if these were in his hands and he was running he would end up stabbing his own leg.
But he guessed they just got used to how the sword moved alongside them so that would prevent from accidental stabbing. Thanatos held the sword out in front of him. He began do normal slash, hack, and slice movement. He had to get comfortable with them.
He called over the clone who still had a sword in his hand. And the other one picked up a different weapon that he been left laying around. They then stood in front of him. They got back into their battle stances.
Thanatos readied himself to fight his clones with his dual swords. He decided to take the initiative and charged instead at his clones. This took the clones by some surprise. They were only able to block as Thanatos's blades came down on both of them.
He was lucky his strength was a bit superior to them because they were clones. But he would eventually build his strength on both arms. Soon the clones were able to push his weapons off to the side and get away. They didn't give Thanatos time to rest though, they charged at him and began to attack with thier weapons. Thanatos attempted his best to block the attacks with his sword. Knocking them to the side and what not but he wasn't as fluid with them yet so he looked quite awkward with the whole thing. But the clones did not let up with their attack despite Thanatos's obvious difficulties. ___S t a g e ○ T h r e e [3] Nitoryu [ Two-Sword School ] Rank: B :: Sword Style Description: The user goes on to practice several basic forms as well as attacks using dual-swords, though they can be on differing length and weight as long as the user is comfortable.
Thanatos disarmed both of his clones after a while of getting used to the two sword. He had been able to get accustomed them rather quickly affirming his belief that he would easily master this style. He knew he didn't have time to be standing idly by.
He needed to get back to training, he was burning daylight. He actually didn't even know what time it was already he felt like he had been in the dojo for a while now. He then also noticed how sweaty he had become. Thanatos took a few light breaths as he prepared to continue on with the training.
He reopened the styles scroll and looked into it. He saw the next technique and imagined it in his mind. He didn't exactly know how he could use this technique in battle if he was just spinning he guessed it could cut off the enemies head.
But for any other thing he didn't really have any idea why he would use it. Maybe if the enemy was above him coming down. He could use it to shred them to bit as they came down. But that was it, Thanatos decided he would need to try out the technique to know any more good uses.
So he read on the scroll how he should perform it. He placed his swords on his forehead. They did look like rhinoceros horns. He began to spin quickly with the swords on his head. His clone tossed a spear in and it was quickly sliced in half. As Thanatos stopped spinning he still didn't know what he could use it for. But maybe in the heat of battle he would finally realize it.
Sai Kuru [ Rhino Rampage ] Rank: C :: Simple Description:The user puts his swords on his forehead, like rhinoceros horns, and spins quickly.
Thanatos was good with out the last technique turned out. Though he couldn't find a true use for it. He would eventually find out what use it was. He knew they wouldnt just put a useless technique in the style.
It had to have some use but that was for another day. He opened his scroll so that he could look at the next technique in the scroll. The next one seemed to be a set up technique. This set up technique was so that he could use other techniques.
He read the scroll to himself. So he needed to place the swords parrelel. So that both sword tips were facing his right or left side. He placed his sword parralel to him.
Both tip were facing his right side. He held the swords there, if this was a pre-requisite then he needed to hold them there steady. He practiced holding his swords steady in front of him. If his opponent saw an unsteady sword movement.
Then they wouldn't take him as a serious user of this style and he would just have to kill him. He practiced more on holding them. From time to tim they wold shake a bit but it was nothing to noticeable. Though he wanted to be able to hold them steady for a longer period of time. Thanatos sat and kept them paaralel. After a long time of holding them parralel. he was statisfied with the results he could hold the swords out in front of him for half an hour. Though he probably wouldn't even need to do that.
Nigiri [ Double Slash ] Rank: C :: Simple Description:A stance where two swords are held parallel so that the tips are pointing to his right or left side, this move is like a pre-requirement to perform: Tourou, Outourou, Hirameki, Samon.
Thanatos got ready for the technique that was up next. he was already able to do the prerequesite. And he was able to do it for a extend period of time.
The technique said that this sent two chakra projectiles upwards while jumping. So maybe if he was in mid air and someone jumped up above him and was coming down. he could use this to attack before he got to him.
Or maybe if someone was in the air. he would jump up and attack with this tech. Then even if they dodge he would be coming up on them. So he had one of his clones jump high upwards.
He then followed by jumping up himself. He was heading towards his clone. When he was in the right position he held his swords parallel.
he the unleashed the projectiles at him. The clone was barely able to dodge them but the Thanatos had come up on him with the sword at his neck. They both landed on the ground he didn't want to destroy his clone yet. Tourou [ Climbing a Tower ] Rank: C :: Complex Description: Two Chakra-based projectile slashes are sent upwards while jumping as the user swings his swords in an upward motion.
Thanatos being able to perform the last technique well was ready to move on. He knew that these techniques all began with the first one he learned. He would have to put his swords parralel to him again.
But first he went to the style scroll and opened it. He read it to see how it would benefit him. He would be sending the chakra projectiles down this time. So he would be above the opponent.
And then be sending down these chakra compressed projectiles at his opponent. This would basically be the only way to use it. Unless he was jumping then someone was jumping after him.
He could send it down on them to get away. Maybe it could distract them long enough. So he could either escape or deal a critical blow. Now that he was done thinking of ideas for the technique he took his swords and made them parallel they were both pointing to his left now.
He then walked outside the dojo so he could jump high enough. He then gave himself a running start as he was running. He then jumped up high into the sky. His swords already parallel he charged them with his chakra and then slashed down.
The projectiles flew out downward and hit the ground. The force of gravity complimented the attack and this it hit harder. Thanatos landed and looked at his handy work. It could do some decent damage if he hit directly. Outourou [ Reply Climbing a Tower ] Rank: C :: Complex Description: Two Chakra-based projectile slashes are sent downwards while falling as the user swings his swords downwards, with the gravity complimenting the force of the attack.
Thanatos walked in the small crater that he had made. He could have much uses for the techniques. He just needed the situation to present itself.
He decided he needed to go back in the dojo. He had already mastered this technique pretty well. So he didn't need to be outside anymore.
Once he got inside he went over t the style scroll. He opened it and looked inside for the next technique. He saw that it was another variation of the ones he had been learning.
Though this one in particular did not need him to be in the air like the rest. The other he had to jump or be in mid jump to use. But with this technique all he needed to do was send it flying forward.
Thanatos went and faced a wall. He needed to send the projectiles forward at it. He held the swords parallel to his body, the tips pointing to his right now. Thanatos swung his swords forward.
The projectiles flew off towards the wall. Thanatos remembered that he needed to swing the sword to change thier directions. So thats what he did , he swung his sword. The projectiles suddenly changed thier direction t the left where Thanatos swung.

Thanatos sighed when the technique went off without a hitch. he had to admit that it felt wierd not jumping. he guessed since he was training with the jumping so much now that he didn't use it, it felt weird. He decided to head to the next technique in the scroll.
He went over to the scroll he was learning from. He took it and opened it again. Reading the next technique he nodded, he understood how to use this technique. He would be able to change the direction of the attack by swinging his swords.
But first he would have to jump a bit and send it diagonally at his opponent. So what he could do was jump backwards use it then control the projectiles with his sword. Hopefully this would catch the opponent off guard and ensure a hit. He then did that.
He knew this technique would be a little more difficult but maybe easier at the same time. He needed to be able to change the direction in mid air. And this was a more powerful technique
More powerful the technique the harder it is to control. SO he would need to practice with it alot. So Thanatos began practicing jumping backward and pretending to fire the orjectiles.
Then he would pretend to change the direction as well. This was all so he could get used to it. He knew he had to make this his, to master it and use it on a whim.
Thanatos guessed he was maybe ready to do it for real. He didn't know yet if it would be enough training to actually do the technique. But he would never know until he tried it out. And even if he did fail it he could always train some more.
Thought it would be a downer if he failed this technique. He didn't have time to be wasting relearning things. He had to get it right the first time the exams were creeping up on them and he wanted to be as ready as he possibly could.
So that is why he wanted to do this technique now and get it over with, He once again held the blades parallel to himself. He did a quick jump backwards getting some air. he then slashed diagonally.
The chakra projectiles shot out diagonally. He then swung his sword to the right. The projectiles changed direction suddenly heading to the right. Thanatos lands on one knee, he was completely out of chakra already. Thanatos sighed in relief when his technique turned out good. He was hopping it would but he really didn't know. The technique would be good to catch people off guard. Or maybe catch people who moved out of the way at the beginning.
This thing would move it self when Thanatos attacked. Because he would be able to see them well from above. He could react to when they attempt to dodge the attack.
But Thanatos decided it was time to continue on with his training. He had no time to waste, he went to look for the style scroll. Once he found it he opened it and looked at the next technique.
This new technique interested him very much. It was powerful enough to split houses in half apparently. He wondered if he could do that to people who stood in his way. The only way to practice it would be outside. He went to a dummy they had outside. They really didn't have much to practice on out there. He had both swords gripped.
This needed to be a quick a fluid movement. It wouldn't work otherwise, he took a deep breath and remembered his training do it with the single sword. He would just need to duplicate that training for the dual swords.
He focused on the dummy in front of him. In a flash the target was a slot smaller than he hoped. But he would need to focus. He unleashed his sword and quickly resheathed them.He saw that nothing happened to the dummy. He must have missed the attack the first time. It was probably because of the size. If it was larger then he would have definitely hit it.
So he took another deep breath and gripped his sword. He really needed to focus on the middle of the doll. He needed to slice the whole thing in half. Then in a flash it happened, you could barely see his hand movement as he unsheated his sword.
Then with the attacking of the dummy with his blade was just as quick. Then it was all over within a second. He resheathed his blade and stood there. The dummy suddenly had a crack right down the middle as it fell into two separate pieces.

Thanatos breathed out heavily. He was getting too tired from all this. He had been training for what seemed like an entire day. But he knew he needed to finish this. He needed to move on so he could practice jutsu next.
He couldn't allow to himself to be lacking in anything when the chunnin exams came around. Because he knew someone would take advantage of that and he needed to be a chunin. He would do anything to make it that far. Even if he had to sweat blood.
He knew he could do this, he knew he was close to the limit he could do anyways. So if he just held it together a little longer. He could finish this up.
Though this would probably exhaust him to the point he would not be able to do anything else until tommorow. But he didn't care, tommorow he would wake up and continue his training. He would be the strongest genin at the exams.
He had to be no one else could surpass him. He slowly walked over to the style scroll. He opened it to read the next technique. Apparently this technique was the last one for this stage.
He knew stage 4 was the most he could go for now. So he would complete this technique and leave. He read it over some, since he was really tired he had some trouble understanding. He read it out loud for himself.

It was like the single sword one but with two sword. So just like he did with when he split the dummy in have he just needed to imagine the single sword technique and duplicate it. If he could do that this this technique would be easily mastered.
He placed the swords on his shoulders. For a reason they felt heavy, maybe it was just the exhaustion getting to him. He needed to perserve though.
With the blades on his shoulder he readied himself. He slash in front of him mixing his chakra with it. He created two spiraling waves which blasts forward. xxxxxx Thanatos grabbed a scroll for a bukijutsu he wanted to learn.Looking at the scroll for Shunkan no Hagane, the first stage of techniques were simple and would be quite easy. First technique was called Basic Chop. Just as the name suggested, it was an overhead vertical strike meant for offense. It was an easy maneuver, the male practiced the vertical strike a couple of times, the motion very easy to get used to. Soon he was finished practicing and ready to move on to the next technique. [Learned Basic Chop]
Next came another basic move called the forward step. It would add extra power to his attacks and it was a fairly quick movement. He combined this technique with the basic chop. Thanatos stepped forward and used a vertical strike on an imaginary opponent. He practiced this motion a couple of times before moving on to the next technique.

Next was a technique called the Backward Step. It was another basic technique that was used for more defense and evasion. This was quite easy to practice since Thanatos merely needed to step back. It was a short and quick movement that would help place himself where he needed to be. Practice was finished quickly and Thanatos was ready to move on to the next technique. [Learned Backward Step]
Next was technique was called the Basic Stab. It would be quite easy to learn and get down in no time. Combining it with the Forward Step, Thanatos stabbed at the air with the tip of his sword. It was quite simple, it was meant to stab and do harm to the opponent's main body. Practicing the move a couple times he finished up that part of training and was ready to move on to the final technique or stage one.
[Learned Basic Stab]
The final technique for the stage was called the Basic Block. It was another basic technique that would be useful for defense. He blocked high and low against the imaginary chops and slices sent his way. It was easy enough to think up the different basic blocks to stop any attacks from getting to him. He imagined the blows and blocked them, practicing in this way for awhile. When he felt he had it down he finished and decided to move on to Stage Two.

It felt as if it might be a big day ahead of him but it did not matter too much. Thanatos needed to get busy so that he would learn plenty of techniques to be ready for any mission. The next technique to learn was called the Pivot Block. Basically he would sort of spin on his front leg while using his katana to block the incoming attack. He needed help so he made a shadow clone that would attack him. They practiced enough that Thanatos found it easy to gain the hang of the technique. When the other clone came in for an attack, he turned, his sword coming in contact with his. His sword was deflected, set off to the side where he could disarm or throw the clone. It was a simple yet effective attack, easy for Thanatos to get the hang of. He had the clone stick around so he could try out the next set of techniques. [Learned Pivot Block]
The next technique to learn was called the Forward Grind. Basically after blocking an attack, he would keep the opponent's blade in place and his blade would grind down the opponents blade. Thus he would be closer to the opponent and able to strike while they did not have time to. The other clone would help him, attacking while he blocked and then grinded his blade forward to get closer. This technique was easy enough to practice... He continued to practice the technique with the other clone. It was fairly easy to learn and he would be left plenty of time to learn the other techniques. Either way now he was moving on to the next technique to learn.

The next technique was called Deflection One. This technique merely involved raising the blade a bit so as to change the direction of the incoming attack a bit. This would allow him the chance to set up an effective counter attack. Again the other clone was happy to help him out and they set to work practicing. It was another simple technique that he would learn quickly. While practicing this technique, Thanatos couldn't help but think about the others who were training and doing missions to become jonin. As for Thanatos, he was still figuring things out but so far so good. He finished learning Deflection One and now was ready for the next technique. [Learned Deflection One]
Next it was time to learn Disarming One. It was a little hard and needed good accuracy. Hitting the area beyond the focal point of the opponent's weapon. He would guide it away from the opponent and make it slip out of their grasp. The clone was willing to help him learn this technique for Stage Two. It was a little hard but Thanatos would get the hang of it and increase his accuracy.Thanatos sighed as he thought of when he could be sent on another mission by the Yukikage. Turning his attention back to the clone, he finished learned Disarming one. That concluded Stage Two and now Thanatos was ready to move on to Stage Three. [ Learned Disarming One] Now this next technique would really be a good attack. This time he would merely need a practice dummy to learn the technique. It was called Calligraphy and it was a series of stabs and slices that would inflict shallow and debilitating wounds on the opponent. Now things would be getting interesting when learning Shunkan no Hagane. Moving over to the practice dummy, he got ready to being practice.Since it resembled calligraphy strokes, Thanatos supposed he should be mimicking the writing. He did so slowly, not wishing to move too fast too soon since it would be too hard learning that way. Thanatos used a few things as a base for his slashes and stabs, running through them slowly as he attacked the dummy. It was a bit slow paced but it was for the best and it helped him learn.Growing more comfortable with the movements, Thanatos started moving faster now. The dummy was not suffering major damage but on a real person with a real sword, it would be more effective. He was not going terribly fast but Thanatos was picking up speed the more he got used to the movements. Slowly building speed, he was finally able to move quickly as he landed blows on the training dummy.Now he was moving at a good speed, hitting the dummy multiple times in seconds. The techniques of Shunkan no Hagane were bound to be tougher to learn yet worth it. It was finesse and basics that would reinforce his attacks. Not to mention they did not require chakra and that would be needed in battle. Finishing up one final attack, Thanatos felt he had a good handle on the attack and would move on to learn the next technique.
[Learned Calligraphy]
Next to learn would be a technique called Extension. This did not require chakra, instead speed and strength would be used to sharpen the air around her blade. Thanatos was already skilled when it came to using katanas so this should not be impossible to learn. Thanatos merely figured that he would practice on the the dummy and be able to hit it from farther away. Standing away from the battered and cut training dummy, Thanatos got ready to practice. He stood a couple inches away, far enough he would be in range for Extension to work but not too far to miss completely. He would start swinging, trying to moved his sword in a horizontal slash that had both speed and power behind it. So far nothing but Thanatos was not going to give up easily. Turning back to the training dummy, Thanatos worked harder than ever now so he could learn Extension. He merely had to find the right amount of speed and energy to use. He could see it working a little, he almost had the technique down. Finally, he was able to use Extension and now he was able to cut into the dummy. It was not much at first but the more he kept practicing, the better the cut became. Thanatos continued attacking until he was sure he had the technique down. The proof was the cuts appearing in the dummy even when the actual sword did not hit it. Smiling, he was ready to move on to the next technique.
[Learned Extension]
The next technique would be both fun and useful. Thanatos would learn to walk on threads without using chakra. He was sure that there were already wires set up. Looking up, he did notice that there were wires up there to practice. Hurrying up the wall, he got to the wires and got ready to start balancing. So far so good, Thanatos was walking along the wires and his progress was adequate. Not to say he did not wobble this way and that when crossing the wires. He swayed back and forth along the wires, legs buckling as his hands grabbed on. Thanatos was determined to keep going though and he was not going to give up on learning this technique. Sighing softly, Thanatos walked along the wires with ease now. It was not so hard, he just needed to work on his balance, find his center. There was a little problem now and then but Thanatos quickly righted himself. It was certainly bound to be a useful technique and he was glad to have learned it. Moving to one end of the wires, he jumped down and landed softly on the ground, ready to learn the last technique in Stage Three.
[Learned Thread Walking One]
This next technique would require a little help to get used to. He summoned another clone to help him out. This technique just required a bit more balance so he would be on solid footing. Which was the name of the technique coincidentally. If he learned it correctly then it would be hard for anyone to knock him off his feet. Getting into his stance, Thanatos waited for the clone to start attacking. Not real attacks of course, but blows that would try to knock him down. The other had been successful the first couple of times but after adjusting his stance, it became harder and harder. Now the clone was knocking him down less frequently and Thanatos was getting the idea of the stance. Thanatos nearly had the hang of the stance and his balance was getting better. He was being knocked down less frequently and soon he would have the technique down. He adjusted his stance a bit more and his balance was improving. Soon he was not getting knocked down at all and except for once and awhile so Thanatos was sure she learned the technique now. Thanatos kept up the practice until he was quite difficult to knock down. When that was finished, he thanked the clone for their time and he dispersed. The third stage was taken care of, he could learn some techniques from the fourth stage. Although he was wondering if he would have time. Something was bound to come up at this rate, he just wasn't sure what the thing would be.
[Learned Solid Footing]
The next technique to learn was called Swordslinger. It seemed to deviate from the other techniques a bit. This one required the use of multiple swords. Not seeing it as a problem, Thanatos picked up some weapons that were hanging on the dojo walls ready to be used. He grabbed them and placed them on his person, ready to draw and use for this next technique. Thanatos had always preferred to use just one weapon. Yet he could see the possible advantages and deadliness of this technique. With a technique like this he could possibly overwhelm one opponent or take on more than one if he needed to. Standing before the training dummy, he started off slowly. First it was to draw one blade, strike, then sheath it. He had to be careful with this sort of technique, he could slice his hand open if he was not careful. It took a long time going slow, changing stance, drawing and sheathing weapons. After getting used to the movements Thanatos started going a bit faster. Slowly but surely he started moving more quickly, trying to pick up the pace so he could truly master the technique. Thanatos was starting to pant softly as he moved, his movements becoming quicker as he changed stances. There were some troubles, sometimes he missed the sheath, his sword almost got away from him, and there were a couple times he almost cut himself. Thanatos became more aware of the placement of his arms though and was learning better timing. Thanatos could feel his arms getting tired but he felt he was on a hot streak. Thanatos was getting faster, accuracy increasing as he continued adjusting him technique. he continued through the motions, shifting form and such as he drew a blade, cut, and sheathed it. It was a difficult technique to get the hang of and Thanatos was determined to get it right. Almost there... Finally he had it, Thanatos was cutting into the dummy. His movements were blurring as he moved quickly. There was another rush of satisfaction now that he had once more learned a technique. Thanatos would need to use this technique more and more to get the hang of it. Thanatos did not mind it and it would be an unexpected technique to pull on his opponents. With this, he might be able to learn the three sword style but deciding on another style would have to come later. Now on to the next technique.
[ Learned Swordslinger]
The next technique would be Sensory Information, a passive technique that would allow him to judge how far away incoming objects or people were. This was based upon sounds and disturbances in the environment of course. It would be quite useful, to make use of other senses to be prepared for incoming objects. Summoning another clone to help, He then took his headband and placed it around his eyes so he had to rely on his other senses. Now that he could no longer see, Thanatos started to listen around the dojo and try to judge distances and movement. This technique was proving to be a little difficult at first. Hearing things were not so hard but sensing disturbances in the environment were harder. The dojo was crowded today and there were all sorts of noises. It would be hard to just pick out one person to focus on. Instead he kept track of where some people were going, trying to sense changes like change in temperature and such. It was getting easier, little by little as he kept at it. Thanatos continued using his senses to see what was happening around the dojo. When he felt comfortable enough to believe that he had the technique down, Thanatos decided to try it on incoming objects. That was where the clone he called upon came in. Thanatos began training, trying to sense incoming objects and dodge them. In the crowded dojo, there were plenty of distractions and his success was low. Thanatos kept at it, focusing and trying to sense where they were coming from. he was getting better at it and this was admittedly a good training exercise. With his senses getting sharper it would be much harder for anyone to get the drop on him. He almost had the technique down. Thanatos soon was able to hear everything that was going on around him quite well. He could tell the distance of it from where he was. He could sense two people doing something that far away from him. But he got the hang of the technique so it was on the the next .
[ Learned Sensory Information]
Looking over the scroll to see what he would learn next, Thanatos spared glances around the dojo. Sighing, Thanatos looked over the move Twin Blade before putting the scroll away. Then he moved over to the training dummy to start practicing. It was a different one, more tougher and sturdier, for more stronger techniques. This next move was an extension of the technique Extension. The difference being that instead of just shredding the air for an inch or so, it was like an actual blade was produced from the blade. The air of blade would hit after the real blade. It would come as a surprise and the move would be damaging enough to crack or shatter most blades. Imagine what it would do to a human body. Standing at the ready, Thanatos of course went through the motions of Extension. The air was shredded and it cut into the dummy but it did not make an air sword to really do damage. The sword was much for cutting but he could still put in some speed and power to make Twin Blade work. Thanatos merely kept at the technique, trying and trying, putting more power and working with the sword to produce the technique. It seemed as if he was having a little more success. Only a bit of the extra blade was being created. Thanatos still had to work and adjust his technique so that an actual blade of air could be produced. Turning his gaze back to the training dummy, Thanatos continued practicing the Twin Blade technique. Focusing, putting his speed and strength into the next move, Thanatos swung at the training dummy. His sword hit the dummy but following after was a blade of air that cut all the more deeply. Smiling, Thanatos mimicked the technique over and over until he felt satisfied he had learned it. That was another technique down and a lot more to go if he wanted to learn the entire set of Stage Four.
[ Learned Twin Blade]
The next technique he would learn was called Brushstroke. If one could not guess then it was an extension of Calligraphy. It was faster and it cut much deeper, making it a formidable technique. Knowing Calligraphy, he would be able to learn this technique fairly quickly. At least that was what he was anticipating would happen. He used the same training dummy and slowly started going over the movements. Thanatos would use the same words from Calligraphy as the motions to follow. He would get into the motions and slowly start speeding up. Little by little until he was moving quite quickly. He was moving quickly yet it seemed as if he did not have much power behind the hits. It was hard to put in power when one was going so fast but Thanatos was sure that he would manage. If he wanted to be one of the best then he could not be stumped by any technique. Which was why he was working harder and adjusting his technique so that he may successfully get Brushstroke down. Almost there, he was getting the technique down.He was really doing this technique well and his progress was showing considerably he thought to himself stopping the attack on the dummy for a second. Turning back to the dummy he continued his practice. Soon the sword in his hands was moving, slicing and jabbing at the dummy. Thanatos ran through the different words and the force would be enough to make a katana cut deeply into the opponent. Thanatos might not be too powerful but he certainly had speed. If no one could match his speed then who could really stop him? Finishing his attack, he took out the scroll once more so that he could look over the next technique.
[ Learned Brush Stroke]
Deciding he had plenty of time for bukijutsu, Thanatos decided to get to work. Taking out the bukijutsu scroll for Shunkan no Higane and looked at the next technique. The Hydra Strike would be quite useful and he was determined to learn it quickly. Setting the scroll away, Thanatos got out his blade and faced the dummy. Of course making sure no one else was in the way to get hurt . He had read over the scroll and knew what he had to do. Basically, after swinging the first time, he could swing again and again. Launching the physical attack and then the shearing intangible force of the cut following after that. It would be quite useful and Thanatos would not tire out as quickly if he mastered this technique. There would also be no loss of speed or power if he hit. Setting up and standing before the dummy, Thanatos began to swing his blade. All he was getting at first was the Twin Blade attack, one physical hit and then the intangible one that followed immediately after.He was not at all discouraged and he knew it would just be a matter of practice. Thanatos continued to attack the dummy, leaving hit after hit on the beaten up training dummy. He was getting better, Thanatos was definitely building up his stamina. Losing less power and speed as he continued to swing and attack the dummy. Having a natural ability towards learning bukijutsu, he was learning this much faster than he did the would. Which was quite nice since this speed was much more agreeable to him than the slow, frustrating speed.Now he had it down. He was swinging his blade multiple times, moving so quickly as cut after cut appeared on the dummy. Thanatos was smiling as he attacked, knowing he was becoming a more powerful now. It would only be a matter of time before he really made a name for himself in the shinobi world. Attacking one last time, Thanatos stopped and looked over the cut up training dummy. Success.
[ Hydra Strike Learned]
Opening the scroll and looking them over, Thanatos noted he would need help from a second party to practice these. Figuring that it would be easy enough, Thanatos summoned another clone to help him with his techinques. Thanatos let him get his sword to train with and he did the same. It was nice that he was helping and now he could practice the last three techniques of the fourth set.This next technique was called Disarming Two. It would be the same as Disarming One but it would have more power behind it. If he did this correctly then the attack would be rendered useless. Leaving Thanatos an opening for a very fast counter attack. Getting ready, he waited for the other person to make a move so that they could start on disarming the other person.When the person rushed in, Thanatos was doing well but it was only the Disarming One technique he was pulling off. It would take just a bit of practice before he had the technique under control. Which was just fine since he was still learning these techniques faster than he was learning other techniques. He would continued working with the clone until he had the technique down.He was starting to get better and better with the technique he was supposed to learn. It was becoming easier and the attack more powerful. Yet Thanatos was being careful so that his attack would not break the clone. If this was done correctly then this would be painful for an enemy when they were disarmed. In addition their weapon would also break and become useless.It was the last attack that was the biggest success. Thanatos waited for the clone to attack and aimed for a focal point on the sword. When their sword connected, it broke in two and the hilt was sent flying. The clone, not holding on too tightly, avoided the fingers in his hand cracking but there was a bit of a pain from the impact. Finished, Thanatos nodded at the clone and requested he get ready for the next technique.
[Disarming Two Learned]
The next attack was called Deflection Two. It was another attack that would leave the opponent open for attack. It would be simple and basically the same as Deflection One except it would be stronger. All Thanatos had to do was raise his blade up and alter the course of an incoming attack. It would put the opponent off balance, render their attack useless, and give Thanatos the chance to counter.Waiting for the clone to set up, they began training once more. Thanatos should have felt a bit tired but it was the opposite. At least it seemed to be the opposite when he worked with bukijutsu techniques. He had extra stamina and energy to keep going so that he could learn all of the techniques that he could. It was just the drive he had to be a great.While he was busy deflecting the clones attacks, Thanatos mind was a little off. Not in the crazy sort of way, more that his mind was thinking of something other than training. There was just a feeling that something big was coming up. He had no idea what that may be but Thanatos felt both anxious and eager. There was something on the horizon and he planned to be a part of it. Of course that could just be all in his head. Instead of it being some super six sense that he developed from training in the Shigure Soen style or whatever. He could sense the intent of people but he could not see the future or anything. That was just a preposterous idea and he had to focus on her training since he was nearly done with the last of the bukijutsu he could learn.Deflection Two was now complete. Thanatos was easily deflecting the clones incoming taijutsu attacks with ease. When he deflected the attacks, he easily struck with a counter attack. Not literally of course, he had plenty of control. He did not actually hit the other and he was a safe inch away from coming in contact with his body. Finished with this technique, Thanatos moved on to the final jutsu to learn.
[ Deflection Two Learned}
The final technique to learn was called Advance of Steel. This attack would increase the power in his offensive or defensive attacks. Plus his speed would increase so that anyone at his speed or lower would not be able to keep up with him. Thanatos was excited since now this would be the last technique to learn in the fourth stage. Then he would pretty much be ready for anything and he could take on the next set later.When the clone was ready,Thanatos would learn this technique simply by attacking. While he was attacking, Thanatos would try to put more power behind his movements and try to move more quickly. It would be a bit hard to put in more power and speed. Yet not impossible since he had learned the Hydra Strike. Now he would just have to work just as hard while he trained. Thanatos was already showing progress while he continued training. He was getting faster and stronger while he kept it up. Right now he was pretty much at the halfway point when it came to learning the technique. Thanatos was quite happy and he would be happier when it was time to apply such techniques when out doing missions.While Thanatos was training, The training was interesting for awhile but now it was slightly dull. He would probably find plenty of excitement when it came to upcoming missions. .Now he was finished, his training was complete for now. Thanatos had learned Advancement of Steel. He was faster and stronger with his attacks, the clone barely able to keep up. Now that Thanatos had learned the technique, he smiled and dispersed the clone. He put away the sword and too a little rest. He had been training himself pretty hard so he needed some kind of rest so he could continue. He took a seat on a bench and rested against the wall looking up at the ceiling.

Keila entered the Academy quite calmly considering the commotion that was going on outside. As much as she had wished to go out there and help her fellow shinobi she was forced not to. Her father had made sure to lecture her in the dangers rushing out there could be. She after all did not have the physical skill many of the others did and her genjutsu was not yet trained well enough to risk going out in such dangers. Her plans for the day before all hell broke lose had been to go see the Kage but, now the chances of him not being busy was real slim. She would just have to wait before being able to go get her squad information and what not.
Yuugao (Moon Flower) Yuu would take a seat on the dojo mat thinking to herself for a little while on the techniques she'd wanted to master. There was a number of them she wasn't sure on, but to refine her abilities to strategically construct herself in such a way that allowed her to out maneuver her enemies. Despite her forward attacking prowess she'd honestly been of a much weaker physical constitution that one would realize at first glance. Closing her eyes to meditate to herself momentarily before bringing herself to her feet Yuu would call Asagao to the side so she had space to perform the techniques she'd sought to practice. First on her list were techniques practiced by her clan. The Hanshou were proud but they're skill with their eyes were legend to those whom still remembered. Drawing one of her kunai and forming a focus point in the item Yuuga would close here eyes as she'd allow her sight to be drawn into the item.Drawing her arm back and throwing the focusing the chakra about the line of sight towards her target, Yuu would slipstream the air around her kunai sending it flying right trough the target dummy. Opening her eyes Yuu would smirk as she'd thought of how she might advance this technique but it would be left for later. She had great things to move on to. This was the first time she'd ever manipulated the air with her eyes. The next jutsu would involve doing do with a bit more focus of chakra. “Kamikaz Seiryoku, The Divine wind Force. Entry level air manipulation technique of the Mugen. I need to perfect this no mater what.” Taking a breath of air Yuugao would use the only notable test subject in the area, herself. Looking to Asagao she'd signal for him to back up more. The area of the attack wasn't far but using her focus point it wouldn't be hard to look back at herself as a test subject. harming anyone else seemed like a poor choice and in bad taste so without further stalling Yuugao had resolved herself to move ahead with the attack. Given it's lower level it wasn't exactly deadly, but it would knock the air out of her. closing her eyes once more she'd face forward at the line of sight inside the focus point. Forming the handsigns Yuugao would once again exhale heavily before taking another breath and then breathing out quickly as she'd complete the hand signs and release them to send the attack her way. The blast would send Yuugao tumbling off to the side rolling out wheezing as she'd try an catch her breath. The technique worked. It was just as it was written in the scroll but then...Maybe there could be more to this technique. Yuu would jut lay on the ground for awhile before trying to get up again. The last was a bit much and she wasn't really rushing to get knocked around again. She'd scratch at the mat until Asagao would find it in himself to flick her with his tail. Turning over to her joey she'd catch his tail in hand and would run her hand along it until he flick his ear in a jolt of shock. “I'm moving don't worry. Drawing more kunai and getting into the groove of recalling her entire families scrolls of jutsu from memory. The focus pint was to be converted from a camera hub to that of a redirecting tool. The thing about this technique is it made it harder for her projectiles to be dodged by docking behind cover. The idea was that with multiple focus point to jump from and one to convert into a ending path way, which was essentially a small vortex of air that could fire off a projectile with stunning force and speed. The focus points in the kunai were prepped and her technique was as simple as focusing her mind on the focus point. This technique held a large range and wasn't only limited to effecting projectiles. The vortex was veritably capable of throwing around ninja just the same. One only needed to control the movements well enough in this vortex to move about in. Throwing the kuai and making them hit just beside the first focus point was easy enough. Then the bigger test of launching something, or someone one living was a test on Yuugao's steady control of her skills. Asagao thumping along on the mat behind her would dash ahead as Yuu would bare down on one knee focusing not to miss him as shed use tracking sight on him. The chakra of the large kangaroo would be locked in her sights as she'd watch carefully for how the moving chakra winds would aim him. Waiting for the right moment Yuugao would send her partner flying right back passing over head and coming to a rough landing behind her. breaking her focus on the technique to run to Asagao side Yuu would hug at his head bringing his head to her chest and looking to see if there were any bruises. Stroking him along his ears she'd let him know her concern despite still lacking the depth of a bond to let him know directly with words. Sighing as she'd feel Asagao nudge her to let go and drawing his head back to way Yuu would dust herself off before looking at the area outside the dojo. Still technically a part of the training area,but it gave her an actual piece of earth to manipulate. This next technique was a mode of transportation as well as defense or offense according to how she used it. Forcing chakra into the ground Yuugao would be lifted into the air by a sudden surging wave of earth. This rock and dirt wave would be about five meters high, give or take 16 feet tall and fairly wide enough to corner an opponent. Leaning into the direction she'd wanted to move Yuugao would run around the field for awhile. her movements on this wave of earth wasn't too impressive compared to her own foot work but the short hand ability to summon it was a perk. Yuu's need to form handsigns had to e cut back on for her to become a faster and more effective shinobi, and as much as she'd been developing her ninjutsu. The very focus of her skills hadn't even begun to be fostered. It just seemed right to develop her body and chakra control before...despite her chosen class Yuugao wasn't exactly fond of genjutsu herself. Still it was an effective way for her to keep herself an Asagao hidden despite size. Having the wave suddenly come crashing back down creating a pronounced thud and slight quaking of the ground Yuugao would look to Asagao her sparing partner when it came to her more physical training. He'd been the perfect coach with his natural animal instincts and reflexes, along with his intense physical power and strength compared to Yuu herself. he'd played a pivotal role in preparing her for what she'd imagined the more overwhelming test of strength would look like in the village. tapping her foot on the floor and setting herself in a fighting stance Yuugao would cal Asagao over. The first technique was simple getting a running start and going right for Asagao Yuu would jump into the air. the idea was to practice throwing her kicks from an elevated angle and allowing the gravity to add speed and there fore force to her strike. The first was easily diverted as Asagao would push forward knocking Yuu off balance and sending her spinning out of the attack. Flipping about back to her feet Yuu would turn and try again. Simple enough, this technique would need repetition. Unlike any of her previous moves Yuugao wasn't capable of just learning this technique in one try. her body just wasn't the most physically built. Though she wasn't sickly and she could manage it would take her some practice before any results. Another lung at Asagao and and sudden dodge to the air this time him kicking her right out of the air. This sent yuu flying back and skidding before her legs gave out at the pressure of the impact and sent her stumbling and rolling out backwards. Asagao was about to approach her before Yuu raised her hand. Her hand outstretched and palms flat calling him to halt. Whistling to him she'd tap the ground grasping at the dirt and glaring forward before taking another running start. She'd singled him to continue and thought his eyes showed a clear disagreement with her choice Asa complied by doing the same several times over until. Yuugao had finally made on last attempt which connected with his muscular shoulder properly. The power wasn't enough to knock him off balance but it was a good hit. Before moving on to the tackle Yuugao would try to increase the height from which she attacked. Over all this would improve the power of her attacks. Since she had a means to disperse the force of the attack by preemptively discharging chakra into the object opposite her fall it just made for a great result if she held on to build more into her attack at short notice The next technique in her mind allowed Aagao to rest for awhile before she'd call for his help once more. Focusing chakra into her feet and jumping once Yuugao would try and focus on seeing and feeling the air below her and compressing a burst of chakra to her feet to push once more for another boost into the air. this double jumping technique was equal parts her charka manipulation as well as controlling how her body in free space. The first attempt was easy enough so that Yuu didn't really need to think much about doing it again, but the thing was her practice in air movement. The key to this technique wasn't just the power, it was the ability to move better while free falling. Trying to loosen herself up Yuugao would shake out her limbs cricking her neck before doing some flips around and timing her jumps to place another boost into her movements. spinning around in the air for a prolonged time was her first test. Running up along a near by wall and spinning about in the air she'd push off the air near the ground dart to the side and forward to send an even more powerful kick forward using her falling momentum as a source of power. slightly out of breath Yuu would fall back and try and catch her breath as she'd look around at all she'd done so far. “Is this even enough. I've gotten this far but I still haven't even mastered the more difficult moves yet. Still I figure this will have to do when it comes to training. Lingering here any longer seems a waste.” Gettign up and calling Asagao to support her weight some Yuugao would look for her former sparing partner Tsuchi. Yuugao (Moon Flower) Yuugao would stop at the entrance to the academy and turning back she'd think to herself. Should i really leave with out practicing any of my genjutsu, These skills were some of her best and it made little sense for her to completely ignore them. Turning back Yuugao would seek out the assistance of a academy proctor who'd clarify the potency or successful use of her genjutsu. She personally couldn't see the techniques since they weren't being cast backwards to backfire on her. The first technique was a fairly more useful genjutsu kage bushin. Yet these clones were made of clouds and in the illusion they'd break and simply reform over and over again. Point was to fatigue the opponent. Forming the handsigns quickly Yuugao would cast the jutsu and the proctor would react towards the clones approaching and attacking noticing the false hood of the genjutsu. Using kai release the proctor would free himself and would call for Yuu to perform the next technique. Kumo Bunshin no Jutsu [ Cloud Clone Technique ] Rank: D — Sight
The hidden assassin technique was simply a sound based technique that made the suggestion, "I'm faster than the wind", or whatever might suggest a superhuman speed to activate the jutsu. Yuugao would perform these rituals and in an instance it would cast vale between her position and where the target looked. Allowing her to remain in plain sight but supposedly vanished due to her speed. In this illusion Yuugao would attack from around the targets blind spot and stab them, they'd feel the pain but after not progressing further on to death the jutsu would dispel on it's own. The key tot he technique was attacking just as fast as the jutsu might entail as it only provided a brief pause before the strike would be completed. This being a practice session the relative need to actually kill the proctor was something more along the lines of what the village hidden in the mist was formally infamous for. For Yuu she'd simply trough her Kunai just into the ground beside the proctors blind spot and cause him to dispel the jutsu slightly in a sweat but no worse for ware. She'd just prove that she could capitalize on the opening the technique provided and would move on tot he next jutsu. Hitoshirenu Shikaku no Jutsu [ Hidden Assassin Technique ] Rank: C — Sight
The next technique worked well in camouflaging it's self as another manipulation of her natural chakra natural towards doton jutusu. This made it easier to fool possible sensors whom weren't strong enough to see trough the technique as it was. The jutsu would copy the form of creating a doton ninjutsu in hand signs but would focus on creating a illusion of a massive mud slid or wave of mud that would sweep over the target and consume them drowning them in it's torrent. The technique could go on for awhile and keep the opponent moving in a fashion that hindered them but allowed you to move freely and more cleverly as well as possibly having them stunned in believing they're drowning in mud. Cleverly moving into use the technique Yuu's only use of it would be to close the gap of distance between herself and the proctor undetected. Slipping into the path of where the illusion would form over. Then just simply tapping the proctor on the shoulder as he'd release the technique and she'd move forward to the next jutsu. It was coming along fine. Yuu didn't have to take any breaks and genjutsu being of a lighter work load than taijutsu or bukijutsu just made it all the more easy for her to work around the techniques. The next technique was simple a trap that was triggered by placing the genjutsu into an object and initiating it physically. The jutsu could be placed on an area or item and spread to an area on contact. The test for this genjutsu was simple. It just had to shock the proctor, and taking her kunai Yuugao would prepare the jutsu. The idea was to throw the kunai with the genjutsu in it at the ground near the proctor and see if he responded in a manner that was visibly him being shocked. throwing the kunai Yuugao would watchas the proctor would spasm and draw is hands together. Then performing kai he'd release himself once more and bowing to Yuugao she'd be done with this technique as with the other. There were only about two more technique left for Yuugao to master and then she'd be free to pursue her ambitions for a mission, but from the sounds of it there was much more going on in the village than the normal everyday mission. The next technique was a binding one. Brain massage used sound as a medium to cause the targets body to become numbed and then envision some method of trap that binds them in place. Yugao knew that the benefit of this technique wasn't the binding but the numbness. the numbing of the sense of touch made it easily a method in which she could attach the user to a degree and disable further in reality disguising her methods further. The key to any good genjutsu user was in hindering ones ability to perceive the truth from the illusion. The only question was how to further numb the opponent. there were a number of techniques Yuugao had yet to learn when it came to her physical styles. In the mean time she'd progress with her genjutsu by simply creating a whistling sound that would lull her proctor into some sense of security and comfort that would leave him bound for a duration of time. There were better ways to produce the sound but Yuu wasn't quite stocked to te brim on the items she'd needed to further develop her tactics. yet given the okay from her proctor once more after he'd freed himself yuu would have only one last technique to learn before leaving the academy with Asagao as she'd planned. The next technique was a mass genjutsu technique. Yuugao would begin to form the handsigns the technique will already remotely begin to take root in the mind of the proctor. The sight of the poisonous gas would come down from the sky and flood the entire academy. Despite this vision not taking over Yuu's own mind the results were clearly evident. Soon the miasma would envelope the proctor and he'd begin to rub at his skin from the irritation trying to leave the area the illusion cloud of death would stand, but as if being chased by it, he'd continue to dart around. The technique was not unknown to him but it was just a a test. A practical examination of the natural result in a target. The frantic movements of the proctor let Yuu see enough of her technique so that she'd dispel it herself. The length and duration this illusion could last gave her a greater depth of freedom when using it in conjuction with other techniques. Walking over to her proctor Yuugao would bow and give her thanks, “Thank you for baring with my genjutsu. I know it must of felt terrible, but tell me something. Did I strike fear into you? I ask because I wanted to know from your perspective how it felt.” The procotor would pause as he'd think only briefly before answering. “Your genjutsu is effective and strong, but you need more than distractions in the field. Currently the depth of your skills can frighten your opponents for a moments but if tey're aware of your skills they'll easily see trough you. Choose your techniques wisely and the timing in which you use them and you should improve to a more fearsome stature. If that's your aim Ms. Hanshou.” A true shinobi indeed. Despite the techniques she'd just used on him, the man was still composed enough to given admirable advice in how to advance. Yuugao would take these pearls of wisdom turning to Asagao and would call him again to leave. “Asagao!” Walking out the entrance the trail of smoke coming from the gates would catch her attention before she'd begin to look around for more actively moving ninja in the village to try and get word of what was going on. As Kei waited quite impatiently in the Academy it was driving her nuts the fact she wasn’t helping. To occupy her time she began to train some techniques that were unique for her bloodline. Her parents knowing the mental weight that it put on her advised her against its use but why turn away on what she was? Closing her eyes she began to meditate and focus her chakra. 1
Opening her eyes slowly they glowed with the Sakkukagun. Looking into them was not a pleasant experience for anyone. Keeping her mind as calm as possible to avoid any unwanted metal stress she concentrated on protecting her own mind from being pulled into a genjutsu. As a master of illusion it was not good if she got stuck in one. 2
Illusions were her thing and there was no way in hell she was going to allow some punk to come and still her thunder. Her plan was to never fall under a genjutsu. Her eyes gave her that ability with a technique known as Henjou. No matter how strong a jutsu was she should with this jutsu and bloodline ability, get out of it. 3
The best way to train its usage was to intend get herself under a genjutsu. Seeing others in the academy, some seemingly decent at genjutsu Kei got them to help her out. Not only would she manage to train her own ability but they would as well so in a way it was a win win situation. Preparing herelf she let her mind fall into the illusion. The room around her looked to be the same but the shadows rose from the ground like giant mosters. 4
It sure seemed real enough to her mind. Sometimes even if one knew they were under the influence of an illusion, your mind was still easily fooled. It was amazing how much power one could get over someone by just manipulating their mind. Turning around Kei began to run only to fall into a pit of pure darkness. 5
It was like a never ending tunnel. It felt like she’d been falling for hours but in reality it had only been mere seconds. Genjutsu could make time seem like forever if used correctly. Not only was she falling but gruesome looking hands came from the shadows attempting to pull her. They grabbed her hair, hands, feet, arms and any other body part that got into their way. 6
Closing her eyes Keila collected her chakra and focused. This was her first time attempting the Henjou so she was taking her time in it. Of course she had tried it out but without being under an illusion she had no idea If she was doing it right. Once she felt like she was ready she opened her eyes her Sakkukaun glowing brightly and the academy returned to normal. 7 Henjou [ Relinquish ] Rank B LEARNED
