Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Do you need a head rub?" Ralic's tenor voice echoed only a few feet behind her. When she turned around, she would find her husband sitting on a countertop, propped back on his arms as he looked at her with an amused expression on his face.

He had been gone for a while now, his prophecy of Bran's intentions coming to fruition. It had been apparent in the light purple hues under his eyes and the wrinkles of weariness in his expression. He was exhausted, mentally and physically. His connection to Saria couldn't be locked any tighter, not even allowing the elation of seeing his wife to seep through. He let her feel just enough to let her know he wasn't dead.

(( It should be yesterday!! ))

The whispering in the trees died down, and it was a long moment of silence while Kira watched the coffin. At first she thought the spell did not work, until there was a spark. Just a tiny p***k of life rekindling itself within that wooden prison while Rebekah went to open it. A big smile spread itself across Kira's lovely face, the angel carefully closing the grimoire and setting it on a safe spot on the alter. She exchanged the book for the blood at Rebekah's request, feathers ruffling a bit as she moved to take in Nik's dead self. Well, not dead. But dead looking.

"Oh, the poor dear. Here." Kira said with a worried brow, handing the blonde the vial. She didn't want to crowd the guy, standing back and to the side a little to give him some room in case he bolted.

Gorthan yawned and watched the wildlife some more, he watched as a redbird flew off beyond the trees, a rabbit hopping across the ground looking both cute and delicious. Yet he was not hungry, he simply wished to observe the wildlife, but even he grew bored. Getting up he began wandering back to the heartless, a big smile plastered across his face, he was enjoying himself for the first time. He thought it was time to just sit and stay instead of running off, he liked the people at the manor, more so than the last place he was at. Coming up to the door he opened it and walked inside, heading first for the bar area, there he picked a table and laid down closing his eyes ever so slowly. Drifting off into the realm of sleep, there he would be free to encounter his imagination and have a little fun of his own.

Saria spun around at the sudden voice, looking at Ralic with a confused expression. She stared at him for just a moment, confused, as if she didn't know who he was, before her expression softened.

"Ralic," she greeted softly, placing her mug down and approaching him. She immediately noticed the bags under his eyes and the wrinkles around his face, his sleep-deprived look. She gingerly placed a hand on his cheek, her thumb lightly stroking the signs of fatigue as if she could just wipe them away.

"What is Bran doing to you?" She asked, concerned, but also a bit lightheartedly. She knew the basics of pack mentality. You did what you were told, but the alpha protected his pack. It was family. Still, she didn't like seeing him like this.

Now that the wedding was coming up soon Fray nodded. "Good idea. Maybe you should work on that first." She noticed the glowing become brighter and knew it was because Niklaus was awake. She glanced out the windows again; it was getting dark but no sign of anyone yet. She felt nervous, she hasn't had the best history of vanpote introductions especially with Mikaelsons. Bentley attacked her the first time they met, killed her family and friends, and then burned the house down. So there was that. And Rebekah had chokeslammed her and taken her bracelet. "Ive been drinking vervain. Have you?" She asked. "Saria can grow more." Her ears twitched at the sound of voices coming from the bat, listening for the door in case they arrived. "I need a drink," She declared simply, producing a flask from the desk drawer and taking a swig of it. She lots of flasks stashed around the lab, attic, and bar. "I'm going to go up to the attic quick to get some things," She said. She wanted to get the notes she had about the amulet and it's power from Esther's diary.

Rebekah took the blood from Kira and poured it into Niks mouth. "Hell need a lot i imagine" As it began to take effect, the vampires skin began to turn back to its normal color and his eyes opened, blue as his siblings eyes. He looked shockingly similar to Bentley.. There were subtle differences between the two, but he could easily be mistaken for his slightly more murderous brother. He moved his legs and arms first, feeling his body awaken fully and his muscles working again.. "Bekah," he said with a smile and sat up to hug his little sister. His gaze drifted to Kira and he nodded a hello. "Nik! I've missed you so much." She was tearing up a bit. "This is Kira. She helped me bring you back."

"Yeah, I've spiked all my usual drinks with vervain. Coffee, tea... I'm never going without the stuff again."

He watched as she pulled a flask out from one of his drawers, confused, as he didn't know he had a flask in there? She said something about going to the attic and he nodded as she left, looking again at the vile of blood in his hands. Three projects to work on. Morphing material, amulet analyzing, and blood splitting. Fun.

He put the blood sample back in the cooler and stood up, shoving his hands into his lab coat pockets and heading out of the lab and towards the stairs. He was hungry, and was curious to see if Yuni was around to make some of her food or if he'd have to manage on his own.

Fray opened the attic door slowly and peered around the room. She flicked her wrist and lit the candles around the area to provide some light. Walking over to her desk, she pulled out a key and unlocked the drawer. She kept it locked just in case anyone decided to snoop through her stuff. A lot of her notes were lost or scattered about the room, but she kept other things inside the drawer she didn't want in anyone else's possession, like her star ball.. a shiny ball of light. She grabbed the notes and then locked it, before heading back down to the lab and putting them on his desk. She headed to the bar with him then, talking quietly. "The amulet belonged to Esther, but it became powerful after she died. Bentley consecrated some of her bones and thus her magic to enchant it," She explained as they entered. She saw Ralic and Saria and waved. "Hey Ralic. Did you come back for our wedding?" She still had the flask in her pocket so she took another drink and glanced around for Yuni. "I can make something to eat. What do you want?" She asked Mohan, unsure of what all they had to make. "Maybe we can order pizza. Do you think they deliver out here?" Town wasn't that far off..
Ralic leaned into her touch, relishing the tenderness that he hadn't received in a very long time. He had hoped that being in the pack would allow him to be with his daughter more, but that was nothing but wishful thinking. Now he carried the brunt of Charles' work as the pack assassin as he seemed to compartmentalize it better. They tended to work as a team, as Charles was more skilled in smelling lies and making judgments from an unbiased standpoint.

He smiled weakly as she asked what Bran had been doing to him. "Nothing, my love. Nothing at all," he replied simply as he let out a small sigh. "Are you alright? You looked like you didn't recognize me for a moment."

Saria frowned as Ralic spoke. She wasn't pleased with his answer. Bran clearly was making him do more than 'nothing'. Was it too late for him to back out of the pack? Probably. She looked into his eyes as he spoke, and he would be able to tell that she wasn't buying whatever he was selling. Her brows furrowed again as he asked if she was alright.

"Just a headache." She responded softly. A really, really bad headache. She turned as Fray and Mohan entered into the bar before returning her gaze to Ralic, seeing his response. Would Bran let Ralic off for the day of the wedding? She certainly would like a date.

Vintrict simply smiled from his place on the couch. Although he was not in the conversation nor near them, he could hear each conversation happening in the room. The air was a subtle element that voices and sound moved through. It was only through the confirmation of "love" that he realized that Saria had a lover. No, he wasn't disappointed. Saria was a nice woman and it was easy to have admiration for an elf. They were very charismatic and had smarts to back it up. He had dabbled with monster women for far too long. It was about time he gave a try toward kinder creatures. Elves was probably a good place to start. Next time, he'll have to ask Saria if she had any other elf friends.

He felt like such a teenager having these thoughts.

As Fray returned to Mohan's side, discussing what she knew about the amulet, he nodded, looking at the notes in her hands as they descended the stairs. So the amulet itself was not magical, but was enchanted later by Jayke? This was not good news. This means that, more than likely, the amulet had a malicious intent behind it.

As they rounded the corner into the bar, Mohan nodded a greeting to Saria and Ralic, and noticed a third man near the couch that he had not met before. He nodded a greeting to the white-haired man as well. Fray mentioned pizza, which obviously got Mohan craving Chinese.

"Mm, what about Chinese?" he suggested. "We're still within delivery zones."

Kira's eyes darkened in an dd sort of sadness as she noticed how similar Nik was to Bentley. This will be fun, showing him to the others at the Manor.... Saria will be thrilled...

She cast the thoughts aside, a smile back on her face as the man in the coffin moved and hugged his sister. The angel realized she should be happy for the descendants she had left, and how Rebekah would no longer be lonely. And so the motherly woman stooped a little to place a gentle hand on Rebekah's shoulder, Kira directed her smile to Nik.

"It was of no trouble. Welcome back to the world, my dear. I am so very pleased to finally meet you." Kira said, not wanting to get into the 'I'm really just your great-to-the-X-grandmother' just yet. Nik was probably more concerned with his sister and to feed.

Yuni came to in the ballroom, having KO'd herself in rebuilding that bony robot that Kai carted away. Groaning groggily and rubbing her head with one hand, the young Nekojin ambled into the bar room with that yellow and brown spotted fruit in the other hand. She was looking for a rag to clean up the dried mess her nosebleed left on her face and bits of her shirt, looking like she spilt tar or ink over her front. Through her aching head and sinuses, Yuni managed to go towards the bar counter and flop her upperhalf over it.

"......... water, please..."

Saria's eyes shifted to the doorway again as she heard familiar footsteps. Immediately she noticed Yuni looked pretty beaten up, her tar-like blood splattered over her face and shirt. As she flopped over the counter, the elf quickly made her way over to the neko.

"Yuni, are you alright?" She asked, instinctively placing a hand on the neko's forehead, half in an attempt to see if she had a fever and half as just a comforting gesture. She quickly grabbed an empty glass, filling it with the requested water. "What happened?"

Nik climbed out of the coffin and peerred around the woods. He could smell the ocean, a familiar scent and vaguely had an idea where they were. "What year is it? He asked as Rebekah reached for another bag of blood and handed it to him. "2014. Jayke is.. Dead." She was crying as she explained to him what had happened as they headed back to the Manor. It was dark but his superior vision could see fine through the forest as they walked; nik learned of Bentley's shenanigans while he was asleep and that Bekah had only recently awoken herself. He glanced to Kira upon hearing she was related to them. "Thank you for helping my idiotic brother. He had his moments," he felt like he should apologize for jaykes behavior to both the ladies. He tried to be the responsible one but somehow Jayke always got his way. As they reached the Manor, he was filled with nostalgia. His childhood home was now an inn, run by Jaykes ex Fray, whom he gained power from and turned. What a dilemma. She probably wouldn't like him much.

"Chinese it is." Fray pulled her phone out and dialed the closest Chinese restaurant, ordering a whole lot of food for everyone. She put it back in her pocket after hanging up. "Its august 13." She said to Saria and smiled at Mohan happily. She decided to pour the flask into a glass and quirked a brow at saria and ralic. "You alright? Ya look like hell." She looked like she was in pain and ralic looked pretty bad too. Then again she was drinking to calm her nerves so she couldn't say much. She brushed a strand of red hair from her face and sat on top the counter, looking a bit distracted.. She knew the amulet harnessed dark magic. Perhaps it was related to the heartless somehow.
