Soccer - Everest lives soccer, he's been playing since he was 5 and had wanted to be a soccer player until he found out being an interpreter was a job possibility. Everest can often be found on the soccer field, he says he thinks best on the move. After studying he runs, plays on the field and just dribbles a bit, but in his head he's going over what he's studied trying to make it stick. Dribbling is something of a mnemonic device for him. He plays for the school team and plays in the park during school breaks.
Languages/cultures - Everest currently speaks three languages, English, French and Japanese. He is attempting to learn a 4th language and hopes to one day master it and maybe another. His household can get very confusing at time especially when his dad and stepdad are both in the same place. Having three languages thrown about can get crazy but Everest loves it. He loves that because he has a French dad and a Japanese step dad, hes got so much culture around him. It has really inspired him to learn more about other parts of the world, their history and their daily goings on. He wants to be an interpreter, though he hopes it can be in more than just French and Japanese. He wants to travel more and just immerse himself somewhere one day, get the full experience. College abroad is definitely at the top of his bucket list.
Virtues:
Laid Back - Everest is fairly chill. He’s not easily stressed out and very much rolls with the punches life throws at him. He isn't quick to anger, nor is he particularly rash. His life has been a whirlwind, but everything seems to work itself out so he doesn't let himself get overly worried.
Open minded - Everest is pretty open minded. He was raised in a multicultural and multilingual household, and he loves to learn. New idea to him is like a breath of life. He's always willing to learn something new and look at things from some else's point of view. It the type of thinking that will change the world. It doesn't mean he will like and embrace everything he learns, but he is all for exposure and the learning experience and worldliness it brings with it.
Intelligent - Everest has always been natural bright. With a love for learning and an excellent memory, he picks up on things easy and is able to apply what he learns in life. He never going to stop exploring and expanding his mind. He will read, debate, research and experiment because that best way he's found to understand this world we live in and engage with it any others.
Flaws:
Snake - Your secrets aren't really safe with Everest, not to say he's running about telling everything one tells him, its more he's more keen to see how thing play out and less keen on keep others out of trouble. His sister often tries to get away with things she knows she isn't supposed to be doing and has learned she can't count her brother to bail her out or be her alibi.
Vindictive - Despite being laid back, much like his sister he doesn't take kindly to what he considers personal slights against himself or people he really cares about. His friend once called his sister a pig for something she said and while he agreed she was out of line he gave his friend a warning while thinking about ways to make him pay. He and his sister have been referred to as the twisted siblings by their friends.
Know it all - Everest is always into everything, learning and expanding his knowledge so if it's a topic he knows about he likely to put his two sense in even when its not wanted. He is considered a teachers pet because he's always ready with an answer in class, is always first to turn is homework in and it quick to complain if his grade isn't to his liking. No one wants him as the person helping them with a rough draft, unless you are desperate for a grade.

Senshi: Madhatter, Corrupt Senshi of Hats
Challenge: Hat's off to you, but you might not like it!
Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Hats off to you!
Madhatter tips his hat and around 10 hats appear on the ground around Madhatter in a 10ft radius around Hatter. They explode randomly in the time they are out, but if stepped on, the hats explode on contact. The explosion is a hard gust of air, more likely to startle or trip someone than to cause physical damage. The hats last for about 20 seconds and Hatter can use the attack twice.
Super Sailor Attack: Field of Hats!
Madhatter tips his hat and around 20 hats appear on the ground around Madhatter in a 10ft radius around Hatter. The hats now move shuffling randomly every few seconds they are out. They explode randomly in the time they are out, but if stepped on, the hats explode on contact. The explosion is a hard gust of air, strong enough to knock someone off their feet, but not to cause much physical damage. The hats last for about 30 seconds and Hatter can use the attack twice.
Eternal Sailor Attack: The Maddest Hat!
Madhatter tosses his hat into the air and a shimmering hat bursts from it, growing in size and covering the area around it, in a 20ft radius. The hat is completely see through, shimmering and glowing with dark magic. Looking into the hat from the outside reveals nothing, everything looks completely normal, but from inside the hat, it's an elaborate illusion and everything is off. It's much like looking into a funhouse mirror, everything is off kilter and absolutely drenched in the wildest of colors. There are hats everywhere, of every kind, shape and size. Did anyone order an elephant sized hat! The hat and illusion last for 45 seconds and is meant to disorient and confuse his enemy.

Solo
Progress, keep stepping
WC: 585
Ever sat in his room, with a book in his lap studying russian. He has been at it since he found out Annie's dad spoke the language. He was always looking into other cultures and languages. He was sure Korean would be the next language he pursued, but in the last 6 months Russian was what had been his focus. He still hadn’t broached the subject of her dad helping him to learn, he honestly wanted to speak enough not to struggle through a basic conversation with the man. He knew it would go faster if he had someone to speak with, but he was kind of strapped for free time, so instead it was self study.
He looked up from the book and tried his hand at introducing himself, which he felt he honestly had down pretty well.
“Меня зовут Эверест, рад знакомству,” he said to the empty room, an introduction of his name and a pleasantry. The pronunciation was pretty hard, but he felt he was managing well enough.
He continued practicing different phrases, talking about himself, asking for direction and anything he could string together in a sentence. It felt inorganic, so he decided to watch some youtube videos and listen to some music specifically in Russian, maybe hit up Tiktok.
It was a rabbit hole of course, that would lead to a lot of doom scrolling and maybe not accomplish the goal he was setting out to accomplish. He shook his head and opened up Netflix on his PS5 deciding on watching a movie with the subtitles on. He wasn't a fan of subtitles, but it would help as he was still so new to the language he wouldn't have enough context clues to follow otherwise.
It was all about determination and interest and Ever had droves of both. He was going to learn this language and he was going to attain fluency, just like with French, English and Japanese. He turned on the movie and settled down with his headphones to get into it. He was surprised each time he did this how much more he understood and he found himself laughing at a couple of the ridiculous scenes having chosen a comedy.
He was so absorbed in the movie that he didn't hear his mother calling him for dinner, so he was very confused when his sister was suddenly in front of him pulling his headphone off and fussing at him in french.
He frowned because it took a moment for him to realize what she was saying, “Okay, Hara I get it. I was just watching a movie … I’ll tell mom I had my headphones in … Не делай из мухи слона.”
It was a saying that stuck out to him in the movie because the main character's friend kept saying it. His sister looked at him funny, clearly expecting some sort of explanation and her expression made him laugh. “Dont have a cow Hara … I mean that's not exactly what it means, but that's the gist.
She rolled her eyes, telling him whatever and to come down to dinner before walking out. He shook his head at his sister and flopped back on his bed. Never a dull moment, but he felt more accomplished in the moment. He figured he would be able to do it, just not how long it was going to take.
He got up and headed downstairs to apologize to his mom, he really didn't hear her and it wasn't intentional.
