After their little training session with Wither Annie felt like she just wanted to veg out and do nothing. So she reinvited her boyfriend back to her father’s house, that way they can continue watching Jujustu Kaisen season one. Currently she was laying on her bed next to him, trying to watch the anime without subtitles. It wasn't working and frankly she just wished she was a whiz at learning languages so she could take on Japanese without much effort. “Ever, what are they saying? I can kinda guess by the movements, but you know context would be nice.” She had to constantly ask him what they were saying and she knew it was annoying most days.

Ever looked at his girlfriend and raised a brow, “you have the remote you know. You can turn the subtitles on. They're distracting, but I won't die.” He honestly didn't even think about it, he'd been speaking Japanese half his life.

Ever poked Annie's cheek and stuck his tongue out at her. “I could teach, or try anyway … I'm not a teacher obvious.” He chuckled and looked back to the TV. He himself had started trying to learn Russian, since Annie's dad was Russian, and spoke Russian randomly mid sentence sometimes. He was always amused and curious as to what he was saying. it didn't take much to fuel the desire to learn a new language. He was slowly getting better at it.

As long as he wouldn't die or complain…

Annie did not hesitate to take the remote and turn on the subtitles, laughing when Gojo said one of his more famous lines. She poked Ever in his chin with a mischievous grin on her face. “Ooooooh Everrrrrrr…..” She paused the Anime just to sit on top of him, “Yowai mo~” she gently tapped his nose, wondering what he would say at her first attempt at saying something in japanese.

Ever turned back to the show, but Annie interrupted the show once more, and this time he cringed a little. “You've got to work on your pronunciation, babe.” He repeated the words for her, but smirked after a second, “any Im not weak,” he added. He put his chin on her should and hugged her trying to go back to watching the show. After a moment he spoke up, “can you speak any russian, like your dad?”

He honestly never thought to ask, but he also never heard her speak the language, so he just sort of assumed. Whenever he heard her dad speak the language it was to his wife or his sons, and it wasn't very much. Lyle and Liam clearly understood, so maybe more than what he heard when he was over. Though half the time, he had no idea what they were saying because they seemed to randomly speak another language too sometimes.

She stuck her tongue out at him, laying down so she could rest her head on his chest. “Ummmn….Not really. I know if I asked he would teach me. Uncle Mitry knows Russian too. Dad knows Italian as well because uncle Cass.” She wanted to try and speak Russian eventually, but for now she was content to just listen to Ever say various things in various languages. “Want me to ask if dad can teach you? Maybe Cass can teach you Italian?”

Ever wasn't surprised because he hadn't thought she did, never having heard her speak it before. He nodded, not really feeling the need to respond, until she asked if he wanted her to ask her dad if he could teach him and Cass too. Ever’s eyes lit up at the prospect and he grinned. “Do you think they would? I've been meaning to ask your dad, but I wanted to get a little better at conversational Russian first. Right now, I'm studying books and have been watching a bunch of movies and shows. I'm getting better, but I still feel like I'll get lost in a conversation.”

He had a feeling that Italian would be far easier to pick up, but he didn't voice that opinion. He knew he could be entirely wrong, still he resolved to get some book on the language off amazon tomorrow.

“I’d like that though, if they are up for it.”

Annie almost burst out laughing at the sudden change in her boyfriend.

It was practically adorable how excited he got when it came to learning new languages…He is such a nerd.

“I don't see why not? I mean dad wouldn't mind…I don't think he has any matches coming up, probably some meetings for the winery but that's it. I can send him a text right now. I'm not about to go into their room though…” Last time she went in without knocking she saw some things she did not want to see and that was the end of that thought. “Maybe I can learn right along with you?” Her eyes lit up, “Then we could practice together!” And maybe annoy Ashley by speaking a language she couldn't understand…IF they could pull her away from her damned boyfriend for all of five seconds. Poor guy must be a husk at this point.

Ever nodded and smirked at her, “thanks babe. Its going to help me a lot to have someone to speak with me even more so if you learn too.” He chuckled and gave his girlfriend a quick kiss, “you're the best you know that right.” He cuddled her and looked back at the tv. They missed most of the episode when he grabbed the remote, there was just 8 minutes left in the episode.

“We should probably start the episode over A-chan.”

Annie yawned and just nuzzled her face into Ever’s chest. Who would’ve thought that she would actually be dating the one person she's had a crush on since…Forever. Maybe she should've done something a bit sooner? Annie frowned, Nah, he probably wouldnt understand or just be hella confused. That was something she didn't want to deal with…Embarrassment. “Mmmhmnnn….You can start the episode over and tell me what happened…” She was suddenly sleepy and cuddles with her boyfriend seemed far better than watching anime at the moment.
