Personality: methodical, inquisitive, serious
It's not that Sriina doesn't know what fun is, or how to have it, but she constantly questions what the point is. She just sees the world in a scale of grey, and it takes a great deal of effort to get Sriina to open up and joke with someone, but once they do, she remembers them for a lifetime.
Sriina is very serious for her age, probably due mostly to her upbringing and isolation from others her own race and devoid of friends while working on her masters' farms. She doesn't understand sarcasm and tends to think of things literally, always wondering why someone would pull on a leg, or why she would be killing someone when she very obviously wasn't causing any physical harm. And when met with something she cannot understand, she pushes and prods until she can make sense of it.
This eternal sense of wanting to know why has her pushing to travel, not so much to explore for the fun of it, but to understand why the world works the way it does.
History: Sriina had been born into slavery; her mother and father working on a farm when her mother was pregnant, and herself growing up strapped to her mother's back as she worked until she was old enough to walk and carry things. Her mother and father never had another child, making her an only child. It was only when she was old enough to carry things that she was stationed in the kitchen with Onora and Amari until she grew strong enough to work the fields. While Onora and Amari stayed behind in the kitchen, she was introduced to the other children working the farm and continued to do her slave work as she grew to be a prentice.
Once she was old enough, her masters had decided that they would trade for fresh blood on the farm and without much notice she was pulled away from her parents and the only people she knew and given to a new farm and a new life. Traded with her was Amari, her only friend in her new world. She was only a slave to the new farm for three years before the war for Tendaji broke out and she was finally a free person. Without hesitation, she left the farm, not owning anything to her name to pack, the traveling was quick to Matori where she reunited with her parents.
