●Race - Talean / Leaf Earthling ●Gender - Male ●Stage - Prentice ●Preference - Unknown ●Romance - N/A ●Path - Sentinel ●Traits - Dedicated - When he starts something then he sticks with it, always wanting to finish what he started or to see things through to the end.
Jealous - Shea feels a deep seeded jealousy against Uquin. He was the one his mother worried about most during his life. While he knows the man is his uncle he can't help but feel that he took something away from him in life.
Sarcastic - Since he's not sure how to deal with his anger or other strong emotions he tends to respond with sarcasm. It's both his default and his defense. ●Personality - Shea is a mix of a good boy and a bad one. Since most of his childhood he was raised by his mother he tends to be more sensitive to females. He is respectful to them and will help any woman in need. Though he can sometimes react with his signature sarcasm if the lady in question pushes his buttons.
He can often times be described as green with envy when the subject of his uncle comes up. Shea both hates and loves the man he's never met. He feels the love his mother felt for Uquin and he knows that he is family, but there is still a bad taste in his mouth that his mother always talked about him. Add in the fact that his mother died while searching for the man and the hate starts to rise its head. These feelings are raw and left unresolved until he can finally meet Uquin.
As a pure leaf man he views his tribe members as the best. Though he doesn't necessarily hate the other tribes he's not up for mingling all that much. When the time comes for him to find romance it will be with nothing short of a pure leaf beauty. Since he isn't so keen on mixing with the others he isn't fond of travel beyond his beloved Tale's borders. However, if his search for his Uncle takes him that way then he may consider stepping outside his comfort zone for a short time but he will always return to his homeland. ●Description - Shea has the dark skin of his mother and uncle, dark green eyes of his father, and dark auburn hair. His crystals are somewhere in the middle. He tends to keep his hair up in a man-bun since it's easier and out of the way. Skin - █ Eyes - █ Hair - █ Crystals - █ ●Clothing - Shirt is CC but would like it to be a long sleeve. Pants but more of a dark tan and dark green color to them. And a pair of boots that look leafy. ●Accessories - A hair ornament of some kind. CC. ●History - This is the nephew of Uquin. Their mother is Uquin's sister, Isaya, who grew up living with her brother and mother. Isaya is incredibly strick, and feels her methods and ideas are best - she would be bitter about children, but feel they need to raise and take care of them. She detests magic users, and prefers those who use the bow - so she would heavily force her child towards that profession.
Isaya's father disappeared when Uquin was still young, leaving their mother in a catatonic stupor. Isaya was Uquin's mother AND sister, and spent her entire childhood putting herself second, and her brother first. When her brother entered his teen years, Isaya's mother finally came to her senses and decided, far too late, that she wanted to be a part of her son's life. This meant pushing Isaya aside, kicking her from the house - at which time Isaya moved in with a hunting buddy of hers. While arguing for months with her mother about Uquin's upbringing, Isaya woke one day to find her brother had disappeared.
Isaya searched for her brother with the help of her friend but never found him. This broke her heart but she never gave up. During her search she ended up falling for the man that she had always hunted with and before too long she was with child. Shea. Isaya took a break from looking for Uquin only so that she could give birth and make sure the new baby was strong and healthy.
And this is where Shea's story began. His mother worked with him everyday to help him progress early. He walked sooner than other children because his mother helped him strengthen his legs and gain his balance, and he was eating solid foods before anyone thought it was safe. When he was hold enough to stand on his own and hold an object it was almost always a bow. Both his mother and his father hoped that he would follow their life paths.
When Shea was five years old his father went out on a hunting trip with a friend but never came home. Later he and his mother would learn that his friend had killed him out of jealousy. Isaya took the loss hard and soon she was back on the road looking for her brother, taking her young son with her. From that point on Shea heard nothing but Uquin's name mentioned. His mother was so set on finding him that she forgot to look after her own health. Her sickness was slow at first, showing signs when Shea was around eleven and progressing farther through the years. When he turned fourteen, Shea lost his mother to her illness. With no one else at his side he buried her in her favorite grove, where she spent the most time with his father, then set out to find his elusive Uncle Uquin.
