Ziel twirled around a tree and then another, eyes closed as she let her other senses take over. They were in Tale! They were really out there! She was so happy that her mother had finally let her go out and they were travelling with V’dem and Masika and she was going to go and see her Shifter family and, and, and!! Ziel was far too excited right now, she wanted to run around screaming and just! Well, Ziel continued to twirl around. Ignoring everything around her. She’d been looking forward to this for so long now and she just couldn’t contain herself.
“Ouff!” Ziel bumped right into someone, her eyes snapped open and she turned to see who she had hit. “I am so sorry!

He was minding his own business and walking along when all of a sudden, BAM. Someone ran into him. Instantly his arms went around whoever it was both to steady himself and the person that hit him. "Easy." When the girl turned in his arms he had to lean back slightly to make sure their faces weren't too close. When she apologized he nodded. "It's alright, just make sure you look where you're walking... backwards." Why was she walking that way anyways?
His green eyes looked over the odd girl with a bit of confusion. "What are you anyways?" She had shifter skin but there was something weird about her.

While the boy leaned back, Ziel grinned at him. Her mom told her she was the touchy feely one and here was someone who was just as much as she was!
“I’m steady,” she said with that goofy grin still on her lips. When he asked what she was she laughed, loud and boisterous. She got that a lot, but she got it even more while she was here. All the Shifters were curious about her skin, though of course others would be too.
“I’m half Shifter and half water earthling!” She said proudly, lifting up her chin. “Do you know where Matori is?” he looked young, probably didn’t travel much but Ziel was curious.

Without thinking his hands moved down to rest on the girl's hips as she claimed that she was steady. So Shea nodded his head at her. "Alright, just making sure." Then she answered his rather rude question without even blinking.
Shifter and Water earthling? It was an interesting mix to be sure. "Matori? I've heard of it." Did that mean he knew where it was? Nope. The leaf boy blinked as he continued to stare at the girl. "So.. is that where the markings came from? I mean shifters don't have those. And.." He leaned to the side a little to look at her oddly shaped ears. "Those?" He nodded at the ear.

Another thing Ziel was used to, people worrying over her. Usually it was close friends but mostly family. Of course strangers would worry too if something like this happened right? Sometimes Ziel felt the weight of that, did she really cause this much worry in others? It worried her that she worried others. The thought though eclipsed just as quickly as it was formed though.
“Yes!” Ziel clapped her hands together. “Only water earthlings have them. I quite like them! But I like being different if I were being honest.” She nodded her head and her hand raised to gently touch her ears. “Yes, but we actually have this part here,” and she touched it. “As our whole ear. “ She tried to show him with her finger how her ears would have been if she just a water earthling. “You’d really have to see one to know what I mean I guess!”

It took him a full five minutes before he realized where hi hands were and he quickly took them away from the girl's hips. The fact that she hadn't said anything made him wonder. Shea rubbed his hands on his pants then folded his arms over his chest. "Interesting spots. I guess it's kinda like how the Alks have those markings of theirs." It was all he had to compare them to.
When she said that he would have to see a water earthling to understand what she was talking about when it came to her ears he nodded a bit slowly. "Ah, unless one travels to Tale I don't think I'll meet one." There was no way he was going to go to Matori just to see what the people's ears looked like.

“I’m not dirty or anything,” Ziel said when she noticed him rubbing his hands, and she leaned in with a smile and hands behind her back just to tease him. “I suppose it is,” she hadn’t met many Alkidikes before though Masika did have some interesting markings on her too. “I have a friend who is half water but her mother is an Alkidike and she has those markings. She’s quite pretty.” She missed her a little bit, she’d spent so much time with her back in MAtori that now she was feeling the loss of her presence a little more.
“You’ve never traveled outside of here?” She asked curiously, head tilting to the side a bit. “That’s very strange; I want to travel the whole world!” Ziel rocked back on her heels whistling a little bit. “Never met anyone who didn’t want to travel!”

"Wha- I.. N-No, it wasn't." The boy stuttered a little, having to lean back to keep the distance between their faces. Shea felt a bit embarrassed. "It was just inappropriate of me to have my hands on you." He cleared his throat a little.
When he mentioned that she had a friend who was half water and half Alkidike he took a step back so that he was able to stand upright again and just stared at her. What would such a mix even look like? "H-how..? How is that pretty?" Perhaps not the best thing to say but he just couldn't imagine it. Was the girl yellow with dots all over? "I'm not even sure what that would look like."
After a moment he shook his head and sighed. "No, I don't like to travel. I like being home." Though of course at the current moment he was being forced to travel.

“My mom says that to me all the time when I keep my hands on people for too long,” but Ziel enjoyed the connection if gave her with people. Still seeing his reaction she straightened, even turning around and circling before settling in front of him again.
“Pretty is pretty,” Ziel said with a shrug. He seemed to doubt her but she didn’t say anything. “Her skin is blue and her hair is black. She has Matori eyes but the antennas of the Alkidikes.Oh oh and her markings are Matori but they’re green!” She didn’t understand why he didn’t think Masika would not be pretty, but she didn’t understand most people anyways.
“You never want to leave here?” Ziel’s eyes grew large. “Why not?” She demanded.

He watched her circle him and blinked. Did she think she was a sprite of some kind? Shea decided not to ask. The girl seemed kinda out there to him. As she started to explain what this friend of hers looked like he lifted one brow. "Blue skin, black hair and green spots? Sounds like a bruise." The colors did anyways.
"I'm not sure what you mean by matori eyes though." Did she mean the color? What color were they? Orange like this girl's? Shea thought about it for a minute. Shifters didn't have those color eyes so it must be matori color. "Guessing your eyes?"

Ziel tilted her head a little bit at his comparison. Yes if one though just about the colors it did end up looking like a bruise. “Yea I guess, but I think you’re not getting the overall concept.” She made a circle in mid-air with her hands. “You’d most definitely have to see someone from Matori to really understand I suppose.” Because she certainly was not the best model to represent the Matori at all.
“Yes my eyes but I think her’s are darker and a little bit more yellow. Like golden I would say!” She wished her own eyes were golden. “But, that’s not what I meant. Sort of…” Ziel tilted her head before getting closer to him and opening up her eyes wide. “Do you see my pupil there? It’s not round like yours, it’s a bar.” She pointed to her eyes so he could see. “Only the Matori have eyes like that.”

Overall concept? Shea supposed that was true. "I'm sorry, I just can't picture it. All I see is.. well a bruise colored bug." His own hands came up and imitated the feelers that she had mentioned.
When she got close again his hands dropped and he had to lean back a little. Shea wasn't used to someone moving in like that all the time. Keeping balanced he held onto Ziel's shoulders while she explained about her pupil. Of course he had to squint and bring himself a little closer to notice. "O-oh! Wow..." Now that was odd. Tilting his head to the side he got even closer, this time showing actual interest. It amazed him that her pupil was like that. It also made him wonder how well she could see. Did it capture light and shrink like a normal person's eye? Did it expand in the dark? How did it look then? "And you can see clearly?"

“My mom told me once that was an insult,” Ziel narrowed her eyes and placed her hands on her hips. “That’s not very nice.” Calling the Alkidikes bugs was one thing, but then adding antennae’s to his head to mock them was just mean. Even Ziel could recognize that. “No wonder you stay hidden in Tale.” She said shaking her head. Poor guy, she’d seen plenty of Alkidike hybrids, she didn’t know what his beef was with them but he’d have one heck of a surprise when he realised they were all over the place!
Though she did smile when he looked at her eyes, she could see it being something cool for someone who’d never seen a Matori before. “I don’t know, I guess I see as good as anyone else?” She didn’t really have anything to compare it with. “My spirit vision I am sure works quiet good though.” Granted again she didn’t have anything else to compare it too? She wasn’t blind, she saw things so thee was that at least.

"Wh-ah.. Sorry, I didn't mean it like that." Geeze, this girl was all over the place. Shea sighed and moved back and away from her.
He scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Uhm, so do you have a name or..?" Of course she had a name. It wasn't like her mother wouldn't have named her. Shea just didn't know how to navigate a conversation with her.

“Have you ever seen an Alkidike hybrid?” Ziel asked curiously, maybe he had just had one bad experience with an Alkidike. Ziel knew her mother had been quite partial towards Alkidikes before she had met V’dem and now the two older women we’re good friends.
“I’m Ziel you?” Of course she had a name! How silly. “So what are you doing out here?” She was on a spiritual walk wanted to get her toes in the dirt. “What is there to do around here anyways?” If he was from around here he must know what there was to do. “I’m not here for long but I’m bored.”
