Name: Alerana Ikaros

Nickname: Rana (by her close family), Larry (by that one uncle that thinks he’s the best comedian in the world. She tends to snub him, and doesn’t realize he keeps doing it because he finds her reaction hilarious.)

Age: 15 16

Birthday: December 8

Sign: Saggitarius

Gemstone: Turquoise

Blood Type: O-

Fav. Food: grilled fish, sushi

Hated Food: creamed spinach

School: Meadowview High School

Hobbies:
Archery
One summer when her dad sent her to summer camp, she got to try out archery. She took to is like a duck to water...though she initially had a lot more enthusiasm than skill. But she kept working at it every chance she got, and by the time she left she could at least land somewhere on the target more often than not. Once she got home she begged her parents until they found and enrolled her in an archery club, which she proceeded to attend diligently. Now she's considered a good eye and pretty accurate. Granted, she's only fired at stationary targets appropriate for her skill level, but if asked she will gladly boast of her skill.

Climbing
Buildings, fences, rocks, trees...if it can support her weight, she will try to climb it. She loves the feeling of being up high, wind in her hair as she looks out over the surrounding area. She's been doing it almost as soon as she could walk, so by now she's got a pretty strong grip and is a good judge of what hand- and toe-holds will actually hold her, so she rarely falls anymore. Unless high winds or something makes her loose her grip, of course.

Virtues:
I’m no quitter!
-perseverant, undaunted; keeps working at things until she finds a solution. She's certain that nothing is impossible it you work at it long enough, and she's not afraid to give the effort needed to see it through. This can double as a flaw, since she can get too stubborn to quit when she just can’t do something.

I bet if I switch this that way...
-adaptable, creative thinker. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. And it would be madness to try the same way every time, so she can come up with a lot of variations and alternate ways to approach a possible. She doesn't necessarily think them all through, but with the sheer amount of ideas she comes up with, one of them is bound to work!

Don't distract me, I'm working!
-focused. Once she gets to work on something, it has her full attention. There's no use jumping around from thing to thing; getting one job task before moving on to the next makes far more sense. Any and all distractions (and sometimes other obligations) are unimportant. She just has to get this done! Anyone trying to interrupt her may just get a vague "go away" hand wave without her even breaking concentration.

Flaws:
I don’t need your help!
-overconfident; thinks she can do anything, whether or not she actually has any experience at it. Generally she only works with others when forced to, like in school projects. She’d usually rather keep trying and failing than ask for help. She's certain that if she keeps at it, she'll figure out how to do it sooner or later, if she just tries long and hard enough!

Skip the explanation, I got this!
-She's so certain she can handle anything that she rushes into things she doesn’t understand, doesn’t read instructions or listen to people when they try to explain how to do things. Even if she quickly realizes she's in over her head, she just keeps trying to figure it out as she goes. No matter how much this blows up in her face, she keeps doing it.

You wanna race? Oh, it's on!
-Competitive, never turns down a challenge. If there's a game, contest or competition of any sort, she's on it in a heartbeat. She's eager to prove her supposed superiority at everything under the sun. Though like above, she may or may not know what she's doing, and quite often is left in the dust by people who are more experienced at whatever it is.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Round and amber, with an intent look to them

Hair: Dark brown, straight, length is slightly below the chin, swept back and held in place with a slim headband

Face: oval face with sharp features, skin lightly tanned. Her nose is aquiline; a little large with a prominent bridge.

Senshi: Sailor Aquila, Senshi of Eagles

Challenge: You can’t escape my eagle eye!

Attacks:

Sailor Scout Attack: Eagle’s Sight
Target: herself or one ally
Range: Target must be within 10 feet
Sailor Aquila calls out her attach, then looks at her target intently (if using on herself, just looks forward intently) and her eyes gleam golden. The target's vision then sharpens and their accuracy improves. Allows the target to ignore the effects of a minor obstacle hindering their accuracy (such as an enemy weaving back and forth over open ground, small illusory images dancing around to distract them, etc.). It may slightly reduce the effects of greater obstacles. The effect lasts for 20 seconds, or until they make an attack. Can be used 3 times per battle.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Eagle’s Gaze
Target: herself or one ally
Range: Target must be within 15 feet
Sailor Aquila calls out her attach, then looks at her target intently (if using on herself, just looks forward intently) and her eyes gleam golden. The target's vision then sharpens and their accuracy improves. Allows the target to ignore the effects of a moderate obstacle hindering their accuracy (such as fog thick enough to obscure distant objects, an enemy ducking behind a bush, etc.). It may slightly reduce the effects of greater obstacles. The effect lasts for 30 seconds, or until they make an attack. Can be used 2 times per battle.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Eagle Strike
Target: One enemy (possibly more than one if they're very small and grouped closely together, like bowling pins)
Range: Target must be within 20 feet
Sailor Aquila calls out the attack, then holds her hands above her head. A large golden eagle made of energy forms, then takes flight and circles above her once or twice before diving at its target. It hits the target with the force of a hunting eagle, possibly knocking them over. This sometimes may also deal minor damage to the target, such as bruising, scratches from beak or talons, etc. After striking at a target, it disappears. Can be used 2 times per battle.
