Employment: Works for a local daycare and helps with early childhood education during the weekdays.
Faction: Mall
Character description: July is friendly and willing to go the extra mile for someone if it means lending a hand to those he trusts, especially if his participation contributes to the greater good of a situation. He is also a caring and nurturing man with a big heart. He has been described many times as a kindly individual, with an open mind. July likes to be helpful, and is rather selfless and giving with his time and energy to those in need.
On the reserve side July is very insecure in himself, even with the love and stability his husbands provided in his life. He doubts his abilities, and himself and tends to overcompensates by working even harder to try and make himself seem worthwhile. July comes from a chaotic past, one he doesn't like to talk about at all costs preferably. He was the victim of human trafficking as a child, and subsequently returned home after being found after a few years. He went on to live the rest of his teenage years, and early adulthood as a semi-normal and namely productive individual. Unfortunately, it left for a rather anxious and tremulous adult even after the passage of time. July is a codependent people-pleaser, and isn't very good at being on his own for long periods of time. In fact he gets down right anxious, and tends to fidget a lot.
July is extremely self-conscious, and is easily embarrassed or made nervous in high stress situations. In addition, July is cynical and distrusting of others as a whole until they prove they are worth believing in. His lack of faith and hope for the majority of the human race doesn't apply to children, he thinks they are innocent and worth protecting. In fact he loves kids, and hopes someday he too will be the proud father of one.

DAY ZERO ENTRY PROMPT:
Anders was fairly excited to hear his husband was down for a movie date, and had beamed at the other. He'd made the off the wall suggestion earlier in the day after he'd arrived home from work. Jay in turn made good on the promise, as them being on. He didn't have classes to teach tomorrow, so staying up late wouldn't be an issue. School supplies for class could be bought tomorrow he’d decided given most of the mall was already closed once they got here. He sighed at the idea of having a child of his own, a sort of lazy little dreamy smile on the young males face. Once they got to the movie theater connected to their local mall, he had excused himself to the bathroom. Before departing, he asked for a hot-dog of his own, and a soda. July had gently tugged on his lovers sleeve in request before parting company to go take care of business.
He was quick about it, wanting to get back. As he washed his hands, a noise behind him alerted him to someone’s presence. The shuffling noise made his eyes look up into the mirror, out of habit to check his surroundings. There in the reflection was a scene that would be burned into his memory for the rest of time. At the same time the lights went out as he made eye-contact with the shambling milky eyed being.
It was pale, and covered in various stages of dried blood. The groaning and hissing like noises raised the hairs on the back of his neck. Wiping around July pulled back from the ghastly figure clamping a hand over his mouth. What was wrong with this guy? He wanted to ask him if he was alright, but someone else was walking out of one of the stall and beat him too it. The shambling figures head turned at the sound, immediately going for the guy whom had spoken. It was hard to see in the dark stall, but the screams and gurgles from the man and wet ripping noises sickened the young school teacher. July felt his own throat threaten to closed from fear. His shriek was nominal at best, and sounded more like a squeak of terror. Bolting from the bathroom, he fled, before all but literally crashing into Jay. Tears pricked at his eyes from relief, gripping the others hand in a near death-like grip. He could see a figure downed on the ground, crawling around towards others who shrieked and ran around in blind panic.
Soon, he found himself shoved into a supply closet. Fearfully he pressed close to Jay trembling as he curled into him and tried not to listen to the chaos outside their temporary shelter. The door was bared, anyone who tried to wrestle the door would be met with the blockade in place. "Jay...I'm so scared.." He whispered, quickly pushing away tears on his face, adding a small sniff. Examining the other, he had been worried he might be hurt. Thankfully they both seemed unharmed.
All they could do was hide; going out right now would surely be foolish. At least they had each other.
