July sat down on a bench at some point, tired of wandering around aimlessly. So far he’d managed to keep going without simply flat panicking. He pressed his palms against his face and made a small frustrated sound. After everything he'd done up to this point, he still hadn't managed to locate the one person who'd kept him motivated through all this hell. Stress was eating him alive, and he fidgeted uncomfortably as he rubbed at his mismatched eyes tiredly.

"Where the hell are you Jay...I really can't do this on my own." He murmured his eyes traveling upwards as he scanned the casino again. July felt pangs of guilt chewing at him. He'd wanted to come to this shithole, and now they needed to buy themselves or face dying. July wondered why he had even wanted to come so bad, especially since Jay had wanted nothing more than to leave.

"I'm so sorry..." He whispered hugging himself as he clenched his teeth.

His life had completely changed after he met Jayson, from nobody dancer working to pay rent to the family daycare worker. July had made the transition after meeting the baseball player by chance one night when one of Jay’s friends had dragged him along for bachelor party. After a fight that had broken out with an unruly customer angry about the place having both male and female works, Jay had saved him from getting the living s**t beaten out of him. Their relationship had started out rocky, as more of a project Jayson took on to try and help a guy down on his luck. Gradually the nature of their relationship changed as the two got to know one another.

That was nearly two years ago. They had only been married for six months; and now were celebrating in hell. Together. Not this alone business, even if it really hadn’t been that long. It felt like more than a few hours had passed when in reality he hadn't been lost all that long.

Sighing, drying his eyes on his jacket sleeve he sniffed softly as he went to stand up. Sitting on some bench wasn't going to get anything done. July rubbed at his shoulder as he inspected what coins he had managed to acquire. It wasn't enough even for himself just yet. Frowning he pushed the little coins back down into his pocket as he started to walk again. Although it was more like he was drag his feet really.

July had been about to try and brave the crowds again, anything to try get back on track really. However something tapped his shoulder. He made a startled noise, turning quickly to face whatever had approached him. Fear was replaced by a softer, kinder expression as he felt tears roll down his cheeks. "Jay!" He exclaimed reaching for the other, willingly going into his embrace. His hands went up, touching the others head of strawberry blonde hair and gently stroking his hair as he mumbled into his neck.

"I..I was too..I got ushered over to get evaluated after I had to make a choice..." He spoke in a tiny voice, swallowing past the lump in his throat. He was so happy to have found him. "I'm glad your okay." He murmured.

As he asked him if they'd hurt him he shook his head. Even if he felt like s**t. "No. They just.." He touched the collar, and frowned at the one on his lovers own neck. 120 and 100. They were a net worth of 220 between them. "..I'm okay? Well, will be." He quickly added shaking his head so the other wouldn't worry. July would feel a whole lot better after they both had their collars off. Sure he was traumatized, but they were both alive least for the moment. He touched the others chest with his palm as he kissed him back.

The clock was ticking, Jay was right.

"I don't think so either." July reluctantly let go of the other. He'd felt safe in Jay's arms. His fingers laced with the other males as he walked beside him. "I love you.." July added softly as he nuzzled his arm with a happy, albeit tired sigh. He wanted to say it, because in a few hours who knew where they would end up at.
