Name: Tristan Samuel Bautista Nickname(s): Dodong, Langga, Ga (all by family only) Age:18 27 Birthday: August 23 (1996) Sign: Leo // Virgo (cusp) Gemstone: Peridot Blood Type: O+
Fav. Food: Any dish with egg as the main ingredient Hated Food: Shellfish (allergy)
School(s): Meadowview High School (graduate), Sovereign Heights Preparatory School (graduate); (college graduate) Job(s): Registered Nurse (OR nurse, DC Memorial Hospital), freelance artist
Height: 5' 10" Weight: 137 lbs Eyes: A warm orange with a friendly, inviting sort of look to them. Hair: Semi-long and off-white (cream), usually tied up in a messy little ponytail to keep it out of the way. Face: Light brown skin, soft features; looks very friendly and is often complimented on his smile.
Physique:
Medium frame, average build. He exercises regularly (from outdoors activities like hiking, mountain biking, etc.) and as a result he is lean with a rather solid, well-toned body. He tends to move toward the slighter side of the spectrum, regardless of what he eats, and maintains a generally thin, some might even say lanky, figure.
Clothes:
His closet is a rather boring mesh of jeans, shorts, cargo shorts and a boatload of graphic t-shirts and short-sleeve button-downs. He also has an impressive assortment caps, beanies, bandannas, and hoodies that constantly make his fashion-conscious sisters want to cry. When pressed, he can dress better for special occasions, but...well, only for special occasions.
Hobbies:
Outdoors — Camping, hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, spelunking. If it's something outside and and away from the city's busy streets and horrible pollution, then Tristan would jump at the chance to go with you! He loves the outdoors and prefers the peace and tranquility he finds while out camping over the sounds and smells of the city. Nature is fresh. It's clean. It's simple. And he laps it up. Luckily his entire family is also rather into the whole nature scene, so he gets to rough it out doing some kind of outdoorsy activity pretty often.
Art — More so than just drawing, but Tristan really just appreciates art in general. He's been drawing for as long as he could remember, and even now his room is a wall-to-wall gallery of his work. It is his preferred form of self-expression, and it's always worked much better than his words ever could. School trips to the local art gallery, or even to the museum, are always looked-forward-to events; sometimes he even makes trips on his own, especially whenever there's a new exhibit. He also just finds the quiet very soothing.
Comic Books — Tristan's father blames this hobby on his brother-in-law, who took a 7-year-old Tristan to a local comic book convention one afternoon when asked if he was "free" to watch him for a bit. Ever since that convention Tristan actively sought out the medium and happily indulged in the extraordinary characters and worlds within the pages. His collection is rather...extensive, thanks in no small part to his uncle. This was where his passion for drawing really started, and when his dreams to become an illustrator were sparked.
Cooking — It's a family rule that everyone needs to be involved with making the meals in the house if they're available. Tristan never had any trouble with that, his favorite job being that of taste-tester. He spent as much time in the kitchen as he was allowed, which wasn't always but certainly often enough, and grew up around cooking and was always happy to learn what his parents had to teach him. He's not actively honing his skills now, much preferring to work on his art, but he enjoys helping out and learning more when he can.

Virtues:
Creative — The arts have always resonated with Tristan, even before his uncle introduced him to his very first comic book; his primary interest just so happens to lean more towards drawing. He is, however, very creative beyond just that. He always tries to make things a little nicer to look at, get a little more fancy with designs and ideas and all that good stuff. His creativity extends even to ways to ask favors, ways to stay focused, ways to finish his chores, etc. He thinks it's fun to think of different ways to do the mundane, and it keeps stuff like chores and homework and other similar things from getting too...stale.
Relaxed — It wouldn't be out of the ordinary for someone to find Tristan lying down on some random park bench, or maybe on the grass. Or most anywhere, really He's a pretty chill guy (unless he's fussing over someone), and he loves to make time for just some kick-back, relaxing time. He also loves to drag people with him when he does this. It really takes a lot to stress him out; most of the time the only that can really throw him off is if he starts fussing over someone because they got injured or something. He's usually the first one to feel tension in a situation and the first to suggest a calm way to resolve things.
Thoughtful — Tristan is a firm believe in gift-giving (and is in fact quite the finicky shopper during the holidays), even on regular days. If he thinks something he sees in passing might brighten a friend or relative's day, he'll go and get it (assuming he can afford to, or he'll remember it for the future). If he sees you feeling down, he'll actively search out a way to make you feel better. He's the guy that doesn't mind going the extra mile if it means he can get a smile out of you on a bad day, and he'll totally feel like it was worth it just for that. And if he messed up somehow, he'll definitely put in the effort to apologize in a big, big way.
Flaws:
Dreamer — He does sometimes spend a little too much time in his favorite comic book worlds. Sometimes it's all he can talk about, other times he's thinking about it to the point where he zones out of a conversation and you would need to actually give him a good smack on the shoulder to bring him back. He honestly doesn't mean to, but he just gets a little too caught up a little too often. It gets bad enough where it affects his schoolwork, which is why he does sign up for tutoring or asks his friends to help keep him in check. Otherwise he'd probably never get anything remotely useful (homework, chores, etc.) done.
Hoverer — His sisters have always teased that he, despite being the youngest of the five of them, is their mother hen. What they're mostly referring to, though, is how he tends to be overly concerned about every little thing when he's worried about you. Are you struggling with some homework? He'll be at your door every 5 minutes to offer his help. Did you get sick? He'll be right over with a pot of mom's chicken soup! And yes, he'll nag and question you until he's sure you don't need him anymore. It's been brought to his attention before, but he doesn't understand how "caring too much" could possibly be a bad thing.
Self-Deprecating — Tristan, perhaps like many others his age, doesn't really know how to take a compliment. This applies especially to his art, but it's very much applicable to just about any compliment. Whenever someone tells him he's done something well, even if it's just in passing, he shrugs it off and adds a comment about how he feels he could have done better. "Oh, the it doesn't really match. I'm not too great with this sort of things, see. I'm still working on it…" or "I actually hate my hair, but thanks, I guess? I wish I could style it better…" are the kinds of things someone nice enough to compliment him would hear.
