The strict, carefully planned out environment Nahori was raised in has a lot to do with how she acts. Namely, with how quiet and obedient she is. Her lusus, a finicky guinea pig interested in rearing some sort of perfect charge, was sure to instill in her the lessons of the hemospectrum and acting like a proper lowblood. She's ready and willing to be subservient to any and all highbloods, not to mention her mother, whom she takes orders from on a nightly basis. When she's not being scolded or lectured, that is.
However, despite how well she developed in some socially acceptable aspects, mom's treatment has also made her somewhat jumpy. If there's one thing she hates more than anything, it's being snuck up on. Startling Nahori is the best way to throw her off her game.
Her diet is also regulated by her lusus. A herbivore, guineamom forces the same lifestyle on Nahori, expecting her to eat nothing but vegetables, fruits, and the occasional specialty yogurt. Unfortunately, the orangeblood has a bit of a sweet tooth that said foods can't quite satisfy. It takes a lot to sneak delicious treats behind guineamom's back, but she gets away with it sometimes, despite feeling bad for disobeying, and is even slowly working towards learning how to bake. Getting ingredients is next to impossible, though, and sadly she's not very good at it yet. Baking is a lot different than the veggie cooking mom expects her to be interested in.
Nahori's favorite times at home are when mom either leaves the hive alone or stays out too late and ends up napping during the night. Sometimes the orangeblood thinks too much and doesn't sleep all that well, so she often uses this time to relax without worry of being scolded for being a layabout or put to work. This also proves to be the best time for experimenting with sweets, if she happened to pick up some supplies, and slowly but surely she's sure she'll improve.
There are times Nahori leaves home with guineamom, however, to explore the area around their hutch or go to market for food. Looking around New Hemisect is a favored pastime, when mom allows it, especially to find new shops that have popped up since the last time they were there. She also rather enjoys troll watching and even if she tries not to get caught up with others, she can get surprisingly attached to those who seem interested in her or her opinion. Not that she's all that good at talking about things like that. And despite how much she likes being in the city, their trips are usually regimented and short, which disappoints the orangeblood, but she certainly wouldn't complain about it.

obedient - First and foremost, what mom says, goes. Raised in a strict environment, Nahori hasn't had much of an opportunity to make her own decisions just yet, and stepping out of bounds means endless lecturing, something she does her best to avoid. From food to clothing to hobbies, she accepts what's forced upon her simply because accepting without complaint is the way she was taught. The same can be said for her relationship with the other blood colors. Mom was sure to instill the importance of obeying the rankings of the hemospectrum, and Nahori is sure to remain polite and subservient in the presence of highbloods. If one were to request something of her, she'd do her best to fulfill that request to avoid retaliation.
inquisitive - The new and unexpected can be scary at first, but once the initial surprise wears off, Nahori often ends up quite intrigued by the idea of something different. This curiosity is what usually, eventually, gets her through the roadblock of hesitation she faces on a night-to-night basis. She leans very heavily towards thought before action, but her mind is often pondering and she's interested and willing to learn. This also makes her a good listener for trolls with something to say.
persistent - While she may not be so good at getting started on something new or big, once she finally takes the plunge, Nahori doesn't give up easily. If it takes one, two, or ten tries, she'll keep at it, in a style quite similar to the way guineamom is always trying to keep her on track. If there's one thing she's learned from mom, aside from listening and staying in line, it's the benefits of never quitting. Her own obedient nature is practically proof that repeating the same thing over and over will eventually yield the desired results.
"Maybe I could, um, try harder."
hesitant - Because she was never allowed to make many of her own decisions, Nahori tends to be unsure about her actions, leading her to hesitate and second guess herself more often than not. She's slow to start new things, and will change ideas many times before she finally settles on something. If it weren't for her innate curiosity, she probably wouldn't take much if any action at all, especially if said action went against guineapigmom or her teachings.
inarticulate - Since guineapigmom tends to dismiss her ideas right off the bat, most of what Nahori thinks never leaves her head, and she hasn't exactly learned how to express those thoughts and feelings properly. At times she can be almost too quiet, awkwardly so, because she's either unsure how to say what she means or she feels some kind of authoritative pressure, which keeps her from speaking up. When she does get around to talking, it's generally full of unnecessary pauses and 'ums,' something that constantly annoys mom and could prove bothersome to other trolls, as well.
jumpy - Living with guineamom—who's both just as easily startled as she, and quick to shift into sudden lecture mode without warning—has left Nahori a wary troll. Despite her tendency to think first, she's surprisingly quick to assume that she'll be punished when something catches her off guard. Sometimes this even interferes with her learned need to cater to mom and highbloods alike, as a startled, jumpy Nahori, careful as she tries to be, can mess up requested tasks without meaning to.

build - A short-haired guinea pig lusus without any notably unusual features beyond her size. She's large, big enough to easily carry Nahori on her back.

Guineapigmom is a large, and rather controlling lusus who wants nothing more than to have what she considers the perfect charge. Quiet, obedient, and mild are just part of what she seeks, but despite preaching these qualities, she doesn't often display them, herself. Mom is loud, wheeking shrilly no matter the mood, though it gets even worse when she starts to scold. Sometimes she gets a little too overzealous and when that happens, even Nahori can't understand a thing she's trying to say.
Naturally, guineamom is a herbivore, and forces that lifestyle onto her troll, as well. Fresh vegetables are her favorites, with the occasional fruit or yogurt tossed in for dessert. However, mom isn't much of a gardener and gets supplies for meals from markets on the plains or in the city. She is quite the cook, though, despite having a bulky body and awkward claws. She often makes it work through Nahori, who she directs step-by-step to assure everything comes out top class.
On most nights, mom ventures outside the hutch at least once, and despite her build, she's quick on her feet. Still, she's ever wary of predators and other such dangers. One thing she and her charge share in common is jumpiness, especially in unfamiliar territory.

plains - Somewhere between a burrow and a hutch, Nahori and her lusus live in multi-level, partially buried, rectangular hive. It's rather underwhelming in appearance, besides the nearly endless supply of windows, and is meant to be more practical than anything else. Because of guineamom's inability to easily climb, each floor has a large, gently sloping ramp, which can make traveling up and down somewhat time consuming. The place is kept fairly tidy, as well. Mom doesn't like too much mess, and Nahori keeps the place up to avoid unnecessary confrontation.
