You are now in the center of a giant hive, situated in the most expensive land-dwelling part of Civisect City. The stairs leading up to the second story are corded off, but there is a small block featuring a load gaper for trolls who need to heed the call of the wild, and a spacious rumpus block.

Central Hivestem Locations
Ablutionblock:
The most vital room in every hive. It smells nice, thanks to a little jar of dried flowers sitting on top of the load gaper.

Rumpus Block:
The rumpus block is where, by unspoken agreement, all trolls who want a bit of time off their feet are gathering. It's large, filled with chairs of all sizes, and muted thanks to the thick lavish rug that stretches from one wall to another. The chairs have been moved around to make the room more closely resemble the most comfortable courtblock that has ever been seen. The Empress has, of course, claimed the judge's chair for herself, while her party guests are being invited to sit in the 'jury box', three rows of comfortable chairs that have been set up against the note-covered wall. The six chairs reserved for the potentially guilty trolls are across from the judge's chair.

Tigwyn Ioyana, Shishi Schrad, Erilyn Awassi, and Mapuye Puchen are sitting sullenly in their chairs.

Exit:
From this central hivestem your troll can visit the north, east, south, or west outgrowths.

Current Central Hivestem Activities
It is now the end of the party!
Your trolls have half an hour or so to get themselves organized before the trial begins!
Trial will begin on the evening reset of the 26th.

The southern outgrowth contains the ballblock and a block that seems to exist for the purpose of storing Awassi's mementos.
In the ballblock is a piano and attached sound system, a chaise lounge, a large rug, multiple chandeliers, a Victrola, a number of chairs, and curtains. The Victrola contained orange candy wrappers.
In the trophy block is a records case that contains trophies and medals, a large collection of preserved highblood artwork, a copy of Awassi's crest, a number of photos of Awassi, three of which are missing from their frames, some books regarding Awassi's accomplishments, a small rug, and an antlerbeast's head, which has also been preserved.

Someone's got it out for Gerard. His face was drawn on a rag that was tacked to a training dummy. O3
Epratt owed someone beetles. O3

^^ according to sources, it is possible epratt was not the intended target - could have been comedi - suggest keeping an eye on him vv
^^ previous fact is written out of concern for his mirthfulness - would not want him hurt. vv

To write a fact up on the wall, please use the code below. Regina will obligingly hurl a piece of chalk matching your bloodtype over to you from her judge's chair - she's got an entire rainbow-filled box from somewhere. Your troll can choose to sign their name or not - either way the entire room will know who put what up.
I'd like to write something on the wall.
Blood Colour: the hex code of your troll's blood (ie #99004d)
Message: the exact words you'd like to write on the wall, either with your name at the end or not
Bickering:
Now is also time to start putting all your cards on the table and nominating your murder candidates. If you've got more than one troll you're suspicious about, feel free to list them all off. There is no post count required for any accusations, but please use the following form below for each troll being accused.
It was the yellowblood in the library with the candlestick!
Who: What troll do you believe is responsible for culling Kewrei?
How: What method do you believe this troll used to cull him?
Why: What reason do you think this troll had to want Kewrei removed?
In addition, if you think someone else has their facts plain wrong and can back it up, you can file an official objection by raising your voice and using your pointing finger! And also this code below. Please remember to quote the user you are responding to!
Objection!!
Who: What troll are you subjugating to your disapproval?
What: Which of their statements do you think is total bunk?
Why: How can you prove it is bunk? Feelings do not count - back it up with evidence!

I'm calling your troll out!
You can post these up until the evening reset of the 27th - so be sure to get all your theories out as soon as possible! The more information is floating around, the more other trolls can compare their own clues to and help build a more solid case!

Gnawing at the pen in his mouth, Leeroi circled through the rumpus block, checking over his information carefully. He flicked the pen up and down, leafing through the back pages of his notebook. It was a shame that he would be wasting a few pages of his autograph book for something other than, well, autographs, but Leeroi supposed these pages would be special in their own right.

He flipped to the final page, a page titled "BAD GUYS?" that contained his list of major suspects. He sneered, realizing he couldn't quite strike any names off yet. No, this puzzle had a lot of players, and it would take a long time to piece things together. Biting the pen, he frowned. He wasn't expecting this to be so difficult, or require so much thought.

Leafing back a few pages, he stopped on the page titled "WEIRD s**t", that any other troll would probably interpret as a list of clues. Scrawled poorly at the top of the page was "CAGE = WEIRD" and various notes from his conversation with Schrad, punctuated with bloodpusher shapes. He looked over his notes carefully, recalling the scene in his head.

Alifax headed to the rumpus room for just that alone time, figuring out here at least he could pull out his notebook publically. He turned to the section he'd meted out for information-searching and began scribbling information about what he'd noticed back in that ballblock, glad to be - well - kind of unimpeded by any sort of other presence.

Yeah, so there was a blueblood sitting here, and also the queen, but if he didn't approach them he didn't have to talk, right? He didn't mind spending the time ruminating - or perhaps waiting for someone he knew to be reliable to walk in.

Eostre made her way to the rumpus room and thought about her clues. She used a small notepad to write down some thoughts, before she would continue on again. She glanced at the queen and wondered if anyone would really be so foolish as to make an attempt at her life while the investigation went on.

Staying in the library might've been a better option, but Guineamom shuffled Nahori off, papers clutched in her shivering hands. She still didn't know the extent of the things she'd found, but she'd try to think things through. She was no Sherlock, though...

Hazmas sidled in, his long-faced mask now resting on his chest, held in place by its green silk ribbon. After sleuthing about in the Dining Block, the young green blood had final found a use for his jacket's over-sized cuffs—covert pockets/stuff carriers. Reaching into the side of one of these cuffs, Hazmas pulled out a small bundle of papers tightly rolled around a pen and held in place with an elastic band.

Unrolling the papers, Hazmas took a seat and began ticking off his findings, theories, and new rules of thumb for investigating.

"Rule No. 1," he murmured to himself, "- always investigate the IMMEDIATE AREA of the incident first - then branch out. Rule No. 2 - don't bring deterrents to parties."

Plopping down on one of the many plush seating, Elidae curled up and foldered her legs beneath the fluff of her petticoat, though she was wearing a pair of shorts underneath, regardless. In the room were a few trolls, and Elidae recognized one of them as the blueblood boy from earlier in the evening. Without the ridiculous horse mask, the blueblood actually... was cute! Her bilesack flipped a little, some heat rising to her freckled cheeks.

Most important in the room was, however... the empress.

"Oh wow..." The queen brought sparkles to her eyes and Elidae resisted the urge to ogle at her and try to get closer, but- No, no, it was time to reflect on what she found, as well as her conversation with Mr. Ioyana. That was more important. Interesting, interesting... very interesting. She looked up to the ceiling, heaving a deep sigh. "Hmm
      mmmmmmm..."

Alifax mused over his notebook a bit more but the entrance of a familiar small troll - well, multiple, but only one of them could be called at all discreet. He moved closer to Nahori, taking his notebook and pen with him.

"Nahori. How's your search?" he asked, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "I've been in the southern outgrowth."As he waited he turned to Awassi's section of his notebook again and scribbled notes about that portrait he'd glimpsed.
Alifax would've wondered what exactly the queen was doing, but her diplomatic immunity probably meant she could do whatever she wanted to Awassi's hive and still get away with it.

      [+] Kursha Vidari

The central hivestem was busier than the last time he had passed through. In addition to Regina—who continued to scrawl notes into the wall, looking simultaneously bored and indignant—several trolls had seated themselves around the rumpus block to review what could only be notes. Kursha at least hoped they were notes. He would personally put his boot in the backside of anyone who thought to slack off. As he prowled the room though, he noticed nothing out-of-place. Everyone was working. It seemed most trolls had begun to take the event seriously. About damn time.

He was about to breeze on through to another section of the hive, when he spotted a familiar yellowblood. She had no writing instruments and looked to be deep in thought. Kursha hesitated. He still held their last encounter fresh in his mind. It had not gone poorly, but...

“Something on your think pan?” Hands on his hips, he leaned over the younger troll and grinned down at her.

Aconan slunk into the block, casting an admiring gaze to Kursha as she did - and what a lucky yellowblood, to catch his attention. Aconan gave a small, barely audible but very wistful sigh. One day she would be that talented in being useful to the empire!

But for now, she had notes to write! She'd done a lot of investigating, so she had a lot to write! She wrote the notes neatly in her blood hue, in a very military-style report.

And then with a surreptitious glance around, she flipped the page and began the report on the commissioner, using the information gathered by asking Sir and Tigwn.

Leeroi's eyes glanced up for a moment to notice the robot princess enter the room, but he quickly stuffed his face in his notes, trying to think of other things that weren't giving him emotional distraught. He clicked his pen a few times, the noise soothing him a little. He did his best to think of important things, like the questions he asked Schrad and the mutantbloods.

Lorata mulled over what she'd seen and heard as she moved into the Central Hivestem. She was pretty sure she'd gotten some good clues, but she'd need more to put it all together, and a lot of people seemed to be moving through here. Even Regina was in here, and she very nearly hurried over to say hello before realizing that the queen was busy writing things on the wall for a reason. Clues! Quickly glancing around until she spotted Elidae on a seat, she started over that way.

"Elidae, did you-" She paused, blinking as she realized someone had beat her to her new friend, and then brightened immediately when she saw who that someone was. "Oh! Captain!" Of course she'd known he was here, that speech had been hard to miss, but it was a nice surprise to find him here so quickly! "How have you been? Do you two know each other already?"

With chinchillamom still safely tucked away in the Nutrition Block, Sarcel decided to chance it and report back with what she had learned. Surely the lusus could behave herself for a few minutes? And surely no one would accidentally walk in and experience her wrath... she made a mental note to hustle back as quickly as she could.

Going over what she had figured out, the blueblood reviewed the facts in her head. Hmm....

A-Ah! But she couldn't dawdle long. Back off to the Nutrition Block...
