OOC gaia_crown [ BACKGROUND INFORMATION ]: If you are unsure of how to RP, please check out this guide here that will help walk you through everything you need to get started rp wise (but make sure you read all the links below too). Everything within Seven Kings happens once again, as a sort of Alternate Universe setting. Your characters retain their (general) personalities, but have adapted to the world of their assigned Kingdoms. Make sure you read your assigned Kingdom's thread and then create a small personality profile for your character! - Your character FULLY BELIEVES they belong to their Kingdom's setting. They have pretty much grown by it their entire life, in an alternate dimension/ universe/ parallel timeline/ otherworld dreamscape setting/ however you want to see it. - You have the flexibility to change your character's background/ beliefs/ etc/ and even small appearance changes to FIT your Kingdom's settings. If you are unsure of what to do, you can always ask in your Kingdom's thread here or plot with others in this forum! - Example: I own Bob, a Hunter. I have been assigned to the Red Kingdom. I will read information about that Kingdom, and then reformat Bob to work within that setting. If the Red Kingdom is a nomadic culture based on cultivating plants, I will make Bob adhere to the setting. Bob, his entire life, has cultivated carrots. He thrives on creating the best carrots to sell for harvest, etc etc. Bob in this setting has nothing to do with being a Hunter! That means you can be as crazy or creative as you want! For worlds that are Human only, sometimes your character has to change to more "Humanistic" settings, but for worlds that are anything goes, you can change some aspects of your character to fit that setting! It is kind of like importing your character into "mini worlds". Once you have gotten a good grasp of alternate universes you can go ahead and get started by reading the introduction below! gaia_crown [ INTRODUCTION]: Welcome to Seven Kings! KINGDOM PLAYER LIMITS:
Just touching up on player limit and wild card information
- Unlimited wild cards are allowed per Kingdom to move around HOWEVER
- The max you can have EVER with a Wild Card bonus is:
- 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Knights, 2 Rooks, 2 Bishops, and 17 pawns. That brings the population of a group to 25. This may be lifted as the event goes on but will stay firm until day 4.
- Pawn takeover can add +1 to this current count for each group. So that means 3 Knights, 3 Rooks, 3 bishops so on so forth. It cannot exceed this max limit.
- Wild cards must be in contact with a King and undergo a Ceremony to be converted
- Wild cards once converted will adapt to their Kingdom's Miasma, their "plain" appearance shifting slightly to their Kingdom they chose.
- Some Wild Cards may choose never to convert: and this is perfectly fine. A Wild Card does not HAVE to make a choice

ATTN EVERYONE: We ARE picking winners, customs for newbies AND regulars, as well as a few other prizes up our sleeve. If you even want to be considered for prizes and in CONSIDERATION OF OTHER PLAYERS please do NOT leave your dice roll posts blank. Unless its a botch in dice rolls, please fill out all your posts with rp posts. While we're willing to let it go one or two times, people having to read or respond to BLANK POSTS becomes extremely discouraging. Remember that this is first and foremost and rp and storytelling event. If you are providing no content, then there is no story to tell.
This is extremely important in future situations that will happen in this event.

ALL PLAYERS: DRAMA AND YOU
I just want to mention it doesn't matter where you are/ what faction/ etc etc if you are feeling uncomfotable with any of the events going on to the point where it is affecting your gameplay, please CONTACT A GM (which would be me). I'm here via pms. This relates to any situation where you are being pressured to do something past your comfort level or you feel like someone is harrassing or accusing you of something. If its something like "you don't understand game mechanics" then I suggest you consult your team members, but please contact me in anything where you need a neutral hand to help you with a pressured situation thanks! I'll make sure I'm as neutral as can be and try my best to sort things out and contact parties as needed.

A SPECIAL SUMMONINGPlease check your quote notifications to see if you have been summoned to a special RP. It is assumed your character will be there during the entire event. If you have your quote notifications disabled you can just check these two threads:

Your character should simply follow the last prompt here regardless of where they were (unless they ESCAPED or were KO'ed) POINTS TALLYA POINTS TALLY will be done at 7:30 PM PST
- At this point I would like to offer bonus points:
- If your character was KO'ed during Valley of the Blighted Heart, their dissipation was fueled by the Miasma. They literally bodily carry 5 Miasma Points home with them.
- If your character even posted in the Valley of the Blighted Heart, pass or fail, they get +5 Miasma points (one time entry)
- If your character posted in the Old King's Labyrinth, pass or fail, they get +5 Miasma points (one time entry)
- If your character did NOT get any purified flowers, pass or fail in the Old King's Labyrinth but REACHED THE END (the final altar area), they get 5 Miasma Points
- These are the ONLY bonus points. Make sure you drop them off here. This is a one time deal.
- This MUST BE DONE BEFORE A POINTS TALLY 7:30 PM PST on January the 24th.

Additional points were added for newbies, and -10 or +10 points added or taken depending on the number of group numbers who successfully completed the event.

ALL AWAKENED (GM PRP) PLAYERS:You hear it first, and audible, loud, humming, buzzing noise, in the background. At first you believe everyone hears it, but noone else seems to be reacting to the noise. It gets louder, and for a sharp second, almost unbearable as the skies crack -
- And in the very sky itself, you see a deep, thick black gash that begins to spread several different directions, breaking off into bits and pieces. The world is crumbling soon. Time is running out. OOC Calling forth so many together at once is an event that weakens the Voice itself, setting all their own created players onto the field. With that come a few restrictions in their own power - KINGS ARE NO LONGER PROTECTED IN THEIR KINGDOM. They can be pvped and killed. Their battle mechanics are the same, in their Kingdom they cannot attack unless attacked. - While a King has assigned players to the battlefield, if others are feeling a little traitorous... well..... they could stay, maybe offer the King some fancy advice ** PVP IS ENABLED IN KINGDOMS** - Kings can still heal themselves with the 200 HP pool in Kingdoms or in the battleground - If an "awakened" player dies, at any point in time, the end up HERE. If ANY OTHER player INCLUDING KINGS dies in any point in time, the end up HERE. - Once again, players if quoted by Kings are TECHNICALLY assigned to battle, depending on their colour either: Purple, White Black --> HERERed, Blue, Gold, Green --> HERE- If a NON- AWAKENED player does not post in the battlefield within 48 hours from when the event started (last night at 11am approx is when it started), they will be INSTANTLY KO'ED. Please DO however wait for your King's verdict in assignment. - Lastly this is a very open ended part of the event. You can technically do as you please on the battlefield or in the Kingdom. However keep in mind it is IC for nonawoken characters to follow their King. It is IC for awoken characters to follow well... now that they know the truth.... MAKE SURE your actions can be ICly justified regardless.

12 hour cooldown timer
THE 12 hour attack cooldown timer has been removed!
- As long as your targeted party responds to you, you can attack them (and they can attack you back) for unlimited turns!
- If your RP partner does not respond, you have to wait another 6 hours before you can target someone else!

THE FALL gaia_crown [ SUDDEN DEATH ]: THE BLESSING
- The Voice has given its blessing. It comes in the form of heavily diluted Miasma.
- MAKE SURE YOU MARK THIS IN YOUR OOC QUOTE POST
- Every single time you attack, heal, OR defend a player, barring special attacks OR Kingdom abilities, you gain a Point of Blessing
- If you hit THREE POINTS OF BLESSING, you may instantly KO any character. You can only accumulate this once. It should be (post 1, post 2, post 3, THEN KO post if you want to use it). If you don't want to use it you can keep it, but MAKE SURE YOU MARK YOU HAVE A BLESSING IN YOUR OOC POST.
- Do this by rolling 1d100 and quoting your target. You CANNOT target Kings or Queens. That means Kings cannot target those either (nor Queens).
- HOWEVER, if you roll 50 or lower you take yourself out as well. Yes, the Blessing backfires, both of your die terribly.
- If you are 'awoken' (through the GM PRP) and die, then you will respawn back HERE. Otherwise if you make your death solo HERE.
gaia_crown LIVES AND YOU
- There are no more lives left, since this is all sudden death mode. That means if your character hits HP 0, THEY ARE DEAD THE END. GOODBYE.
- If you are 'awoken' (through the GM PRP) and die, then you will respawn back HERE. Otherwise if you make your death solo HERE.
- If you are a King and you have died: you feel faint, and you realize the source of it is that you are literally breaking up, dissolving. For a horrible second, you stare at - before you fade away entirely. PLEASE MOVE TO THE DEATH SOLO THREAD.
- HOWEVER: Those aligned to the Kingdom are not dead. But.... why exactly? What happened to what the Voice said....? (OOC: You do NOT go to the Death Solo thread if your King dies, you just kind of stay in the battle... lost and confused).
This ability applies to ALL THE THREADS, INCLUDING THE KINGDOM ONES.

DEATH AND BEYONDAll players who die can simply respond to the prompt HERE
- If you posted and have not already, simply post an exit and reaction post from the first post
- You respawn in either in your Kingdom or in the battlefield where you died. If you respawn, the cooldown timer does not apply to you. If you respawn in the Kingdom you can simply move to the battlefield when you are ready. You cannot move to any other location unless directly specified by a GM.
