The Great Battlefield remains torn through the ages, broken pieces of its legacy left behind on the ravaged field. Many areas have become unstable, especially beyond the stretch of hills spanning north, leading towards the deeply Tainted lands where none dare to enter.

All is quiet, until from equal distances away from each other, banners unfold. The Kings' armies. Several look around for signs of the Kings themselves, while other Kings are much more clever, unwilling to sacrifice themselves quite yet. It is quiet.

A presence appears, unlike any other, invisible and yet so prevalent, powerful. The Voice. "Fight for your Kingdoms. Fight for yourselves. Fight for your Kings so that one may be crowned the True King. For those who fall, for the Kings who lose all their warriors, they will also fall. A King without their pieces will no longer be King. A True King leads their army or commands by it, they are as powerful as they are wise. This call to battle for many will be their first and last but the glory from the victorious unfathomable. All for the glory of the true King."

gaia_crown [ BATTLEFIELD RECAP ]:

- If you King did NOT choose two sacrifices to throw away, they are JOINING everyone on the battlefield. Their stats are as listed. HOWEVER, BY JOINING THE BATTLEFIELD they throw away their natural protections. They can be attacked at any time. They can attack at any time. They are essentially the same as any other player with buffed up stats. If a King falls, they dissipate (move to DEATH SOLO if you are that King). However, all their subjects still remain. What does it mean for the ones that remain....? A defeated player *who does not have a white flower-shaped mark as indicated by a special event, will be permanently defeated. If your character hits 0 HP, please write their death solo here.
- If you have forgotten how to battle, please read this guide HERE on battling!
- FRIENDLY FIRE is on. It is no holds barred here
- Please remember to quote your target(s) and edit your damage, heals, defense ASAP as per the battle rules
- All abilities can be used, with their restrictions. Don't forget to post in OOC your battle stats
- Players who fail to post in 48 hours of when the battle thread starts will be instantly killed. A death toll will be posted in 48 hours.
- ALL PLAYERS START OFF IN THIS THREAD WITH FULL HEALTH

gaia_crown [ Points Tally ]:

- For EACH character you defeat you gain +5 Miasma Points
- If you are DEFEATED in battle, simply post all gained points here. All for the glory of the True King!
- Even if you are DEFEATED in battle, you may still do a points claim. If your character is 'awoken' it is up to them if they want to take the points for their Kingdom or not.

gaia_crown [ SUDDEN DEATH ]: THE BLESSING

- The Voice has given its blessing. It comes in the form of heavily diluted Miasma.
- MAKE SURE YOU MARK THIS IN YOUR OOC QUOTE POST
- Every single time you attack, heal, OR defend a player, barring special attacks, you gain a Point of Blessing
- If you hit THREE POINTS OF BLESSING, you may instantly KO any character. You can only accumulate this once. It should be (post 1, post 2, post 3, THEN KO post if you want to use it). If you don't want to use it you can keep it, but MAKE SURE YOU MARK YOU HAVE A BLESSING IN YOUR OOC POST.
- Do this by rolling 1d100 and quoting your target. You CANNOT target Kings or Queens. That means Kings cannot target those either (nor Queens).
- HOWEVER, if you roll 50 or lower you take yourself out as well. Yes, the Blessing backfires, both of your die terribly.
- If you are 'awoken' (through the GM PRP) and die, then you will respawn back HERE. Otherwise if you make your death solo HERE.

gaia_crown LIVES AND YOU

- There are no more lives left, since this is all sudden death mode. That means if your character hits HP 0, THEY ARE DEAD THE END. GOODBYE.
- If you are 'awoken' (through the GM PRP) and die, then you will respawn back HERE. Otherwise if you make your death solo HERE.
- If you are a King and you have died: you feel faint, and you realize the source of it is that you are literally breaking up, dissolving. For a horrible second, you stare at - before you fade away entirely. PLEASE MOVE TO THE DEATH SOLO THREAD.
- HOWEVER: Those aligned to the Kingdom are not dead. But.... why exactly? What happened to what the Voice said....? (OOC: You do NOT go to the Death Solo thread if your King dies, you just kind of stay in the battle... lost and confused).

gaia_crown ESCAPING

- Once you have entered the battle thread, you CANNOT escape. Once again, due to time constraints, this is all very Sudden Death-ish.
- However, the KING may not escape, but they may use the reserves from their Kingdom to heal themselves even on the battlefield. They can only heal THEMSELVES however.

[ENTERING FROM WHITE KINGDOM]

Zephyros is instantly transported onto the battlefield. His eyes glance around wearily-- His heart pounding with a deafening sound. Thud, thud,thud. His hands are clammy, clutching tightly. Though he hisses in pain because he is not fully healed from the previous adventure. Nor from that bike ride. Next time he has to remember never to step on a hooverbike.

That's right, there won't be a next time. He has stepped into a minefield.. again. And this time he won't be escaping from it. This was the end, Wilson was attacked by 'Ryan' and his ... the people that he has lived with for months were dying. One attacked as well-- wait no. She's dead too. Ami.. Kat.. Madeliene.. Dakot- No. No. He wasn't dead, he heard from various voice that he was just punched out really hard. That made him snort out softly as he remembered.

But then he covers his mouth and he looks around-- So far no one was there. But once they see him coming in they will come and attack.

Zephyros lifts a hand up into the air-- his left hand. It sparks as a gold jewel glows. Then he brings it back down and squeezes his hand. His bright blue eyes narrow and he lets out a noise.

"The Voice wants a fight.. who will come out against me? If this Voice wants death-- then let us give it a good one. " Though he doesn't sound happy as he says this. He even spits onto the floor out of nervousness. This anxiety is clear on the Quetz' face. And his body.. as his tail and ears twitch.

He waits for the people to come out...

Roch appeared next to his fellow white, pulling out one of the guns he was packing and checking its charge. Then he brought it up, looking over the battlefield with a cynical eye. "Find a place to snipe from," he told Zeph, pulling out another gun and handing it over. "We'll see if we can't take them out before they see us."

They'd gotten there first. He was damn well going to take advantage of that.

Zephyros jumps and nearly smacks Roch in the face... before some hysterical laughter escapes. Which then turns into a small sob. The mechanic was saying words that he couldn't comprehend, but he guessed it had something to do with a gun.. because he's being handed one right now.

With a small nod, and a choked out cough as a response, he grabs a hold of the gun and tugs at Roch for them to hurry up and get out of the middle of the field.

Bix entered behind all the rest. He listened to them chat but the serpent man was quiet. He immediately expanded his bow, it glowing slightly from the energy contained within. His hand dipped down and drew an arrow, glowing white, from midair and readied himself for the inevitable.

She was a little late to the battlefield, But Pokerus had arrived. Though instead of a blood bath, it was eerily quiet. She could see her fellow crewmembers had already arrived. It was a good sight. So far they had the advantage of numbers, but then there was no one else here besides them. When would that change?

For now though she kept close to the others, Her bazooka making for a great shield as she slammed it into the ground and crouched behind it. Watching, waiting for their enemy to arrive...

"If you guys need some assistance, give me a holler." She call out to them. She wasn't any healer, but she had brought with her a small medi-kit. She at leats knew how to apply a set of gauze and bandages...

Jericho raced on towards the battlefield, more than ready to begin fighting in the name of his king. This was the moment he was waiting for all along. His wings beat down hard as he sped across the skies.

There!

He could see some forms up ahead. Judging their apparel, they belonged to the white kingdom. This was fine with him.

"VOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" he roared out as his battle cry before he swooped down towards the first thing he saw.

If Poke was a little late Mitsu was really late. Not to mention she had gotten a little turned around on her way. East and West were very confusing ok.

When finally she stepped foot on the battlefield it wasn't a battle she found but instead....silence. The calm before the storm. Her eyes scanned the area but all she found were her friends from the white kingdom. Maybe....the other kingdoms had given up? She could only hope.

Spotting Poke, Mitsu made her way toward her, huddling next to her sheepishly. She didn't look like the kind of person to go through battle but she had at least come prepared with her medical bag and a blaster rifle strapped to her back. "I...I didn't want you to come alone." True Poke wasn't alone but Mitsu would have been ashamed to stay behind. She wanted to help like she had promised she would.

Battle had erupted. It wasn't the first time Shun had seen something like this before, however. He quickly made his way through the battlefield, separating from his allies for the time being. It wasn't too hard given the fighting, but it wasn't completely accidental either. There was one target he had given himself priority. He at least had some idea of what he was looking for, thanks to the false memory. The woman his kingdom self had met some time ago during the time of the truce, who had managed to make an impression on the fake.

Given past personal experiences, he found that he despised fake versions of her. And in a way, it annoyed him that the Voice had pulled the memory of her into this giant mess, destined to die. He would take her down before the Voice's twisted world could. With luck, she hadn't been sacrificed to her king.

He hurried on along, keeping a sharp eye out. After some time, he caught a flash of white hair. He focused in on the figure to see that it was indeed the one he was seeking.

And she was carrying a rifle on her back.

He wasn't too sure how to feel about seeing Mitsu with a gun. In any case, he shook his head and steeled himself. This wasn't really her, he reminded himself. Gritting his teeth, he grabbed onto a pair of shuriken from his belt before hurling them at her.

It wasn't her. It was a fake. Only he should be allowed to take her out.

There was an uncharacteristic bounce in her step as the little Dread Cleric bounded onto the West Field. There was vigor in her eyes as well. Perhaps losing one's Kingdom was enough to get a timid Shadow onto the battle field properly.

She was scared though, deep down. And perhaps her equally blackened Elk Shades sensed it, probably not, as they flanked her in a defensive manner. Oh, how she hoped dearly she wouldn't fail at her task and duty to defend the honor of her Kingdom and bring it's rightful vengeance upon the rest of these sorry lots.

Vanya stepped onto the battle field and for a moment she let her eyes adjust to being in natural light; squinting for a few moments before she took a few steps in closer. She was pleased to find that they had the most numbers at current. They would be able to take down the few that had wandered in and gain an advantage in that they could see others arrive. Her claws lengthened, as sharp and long as blades and she flexed them, already hungry for blood. The hunt was drummed into her and she crouched down onto the ground, eyes narrowing as she scanned her surroundings and her targets.

Poke and Mitsu were being attacked but she didn't move just yet. She wasn't quite ready to strike.. Her body tensed and she brought her arms to her sides, feathers flaring. Always watching, always waiting.

Pokerus had been keeping a eye out on the battlefield for her allies, when a deafening roar struck her ears. Her eyes went skyward. Up upbove her was a....wait a moment

Was that a Drogiam?

She stared at the creature as it zoomed into to attack her. It was like a Drogiam, but the colors were different. So were the horns. Perhaps it was a distant cousin? Nevertheless it was flying right for her, and she had to duck to escape it's destructive claws. It was truely a impressive beast, but she wasn't about to go down so easily.

Excitement crept through her body as she lifted her bazooka from it's defensive position as a toothy smile spread over her face. She hadn't battled a creature like this before, and she felt herself getting more pumped every moment.

"AND A GOOD OLD HELLO TO YOU TOO" She shouted, lifting the bazooka skyward to point to the flying creature. "THE NAMES POKERUS, AND YOU BETTER NOT FORGET IT YOUR FLYING b*****d." The weapon began to whir, lighting up as the inside began to glow, charging up it's power. "AND I'M READY TO BLAST THIS BABY ALL OVER YOUR ******** FACE!"

With these words, the weapon shot a powerfull lazor up towards the beast. Though she could already tell with the Drogiam's speed it was proably gonna miss. It was all good, she had released a load, she was feeling less tense already.

Except, a sudden voice made her turn around. Shock and amazement clear on her face at the sight of Mitsu, strapped up in her medical gear. She had come along after all.

"Mitsu..." she said softly, before giving her a thumbs up. "I wish you'd stayed at the ship, but it's all good. Just stay close alright? You can see me take out this ******** up here." But out of the corner of her eye she saw something silver sped past her, striking the shifter. Startled, she whized around to see someone else here to. She swore under her breath. "s**t! MITSU!"
