OOC
Please only post if you have been QUOTE INVITED to this rp thank you!

A familiar sight, the large thick canvas of a tent. A pyre burning in front of her, flickering different colours, reds to yellows, greens, golds, whites blacks. The smoke was thick, giving the room a strange dream-like quality.

"All those who seek guidance shall receive it." -'ed skin. -'ed hair. - coloured robe. Familiar, yetuntraceable. She turned to smile at them, a little sadly. "All paths lead to the same end, it is the guidance that changes it."

The pyre shifted once again, crackling, though the noise was faint. It felt odd and surreal, as if they were looking upon her from far away, distant, almost muffled. She seemed ready to disappear at any second.

You DO NOT need to exit the thread you are in, you can simply post here when you are ready. Feel free to have your character confused, ready to complete their last action, before they are summoned here.
- Your character can speak and ask questions as needed

Henry had returned from the Valley of the Blighted Heart, Miasma carefully tucked away into his pack, ready to return to the gates of his Kingdom. His newly detailed tattoo was a weight on his arm, and while that memory no longer ached-- well. Something was amiss. He felt wrong in his own skin due to his newly taken shape, an increased size and stature.

He just wanted to go home, but it appeared that something larger than he was at hand.

Hand raised to knock upon the gate, Henry started violently when he was suddenly transported. There was someone there, someone familiar that scratched at the back of his mind like a stray cat requesting to be let indoors. Persistent. Quiet. Not too easily forgotten.

She was foggy at best and incorporeal at worst, and Henry recoiled without thinking. This did not feel...right. It didn't feel good or right at all.

"I do not require your guidance," the blond said, voice wavering slightly as he did. "My path is my own, whether it takes me to Elysion or if I stall in the Kingdom of Reflection."

It seemed as though Henry had found some boldness in those violet waters.

Though the wound on her side still ached, it felt a little bit better and for that the faerie was grateful. Only, when she looked up to smile and thank her friend for the heal, however small, Sin was not there. In fact, the dais under her was gone and the others returning from their tasks had all disappeared as well. What remained was... An odd new place that housed an insubstantial woman with a flickering flame and the cloying scent of smoke.
A hand reached out to wave the thick air away, but that meant the risk of blowing this dream away as well. It was a dream, right? Or was it a vision? Or something else, yet unnamed and unknown? Either way, Belladonna only realized she was standing whereas she had been sitting, and thus turned a confused face towards the woman she thought she might have once known.
"Then you are... Our guidance? Can you change our paths?" As one who so happily and freely offered help, it would be folly to scorn the return of such. One could never have enough cheat codes, after all. Especially when one happened to stumble upon the guidance they did not know they sought...

It was a simple, and yet disturbing change; but the first thing that Riley noticed when she realized she was no longer in the garden, was that she couldn't feel the grass anymore. That one single sensory loss took her full span of attention, the weight of it saddening her heart. Of course, there was so much more to understand as the next second passed, and she saw the figure. Suddenly, the weight of guilt draped down upon her, and she fell, her body prostrated to the floor in absolute submission.

This was divine retribution. She had sinned, and she would suffer eternally for breaking her vows. The feel of grass underneath her, the touch of a hand, the fireworks blazing above her head; now she would burn in the very flames of the pyre for leaving her solemn vow.

I'm sorry. She whispered to the figure. It spoke of guidance, and her heart flared with hope. Purgatory, then? It was a hope that had her looking up at the figure, though she remained prostrated on the floor.

Guide me, then. I accept your hand as fate. She knew this was the right answer, and yet, she could still feel it. A force, telling her to rebel, to fight, to run. She was plagued with demons she had never even known about until that moment, and they roared within her, horrified by her position. Get up, they said. Get up and fight.

She was strong enough not to listen.

Her head hurt.

It was always accompanied with a dull ache from the purple stain across her forehead, a permanent bruise, of sorts, that even with the memories she had regained of her life still throbbed. She just hadn't found the right one, that was it.

But this...had she stepped back into the violet waters? Tomoko couldn't feel any familiarity about the place, even as things began to play. Her hand moved to the key marking on the inside of her arm, touching it gently. It looked the same to her.

Then the scent of smoke, the crackling words of this woman in front of them..... woman... it was a woman's voice and she'd heard it before.

"Do you speak of the Legacy....?"

Hadn't he returned back to his kingdom from the strange cave?

Erebus blinked. Even the hand in his was gone, but as he glanced around, he spotted Tomoko too, along with Henry. At yet, his attention was drawn to the familiar figure seated behind the strange and colorful flames.

"Guidance?" He asked. It seemed as though she was more of a ghost than he himself was. "Where would you guide us to?" If it was as she said, and they would all meet the same fate...

"Does you mean to say that all our Kingdoms will fall?" He found himself asking, hands turning clammy. They were all fighting for their respective kingdoms, he knew. But was she possibly insinuating that it was only a matter of time before all would fall, despite the belief that they were all doing this for the safety of the place they called their home? Despite thinking that there would be one sole winner, who would triumph in the end...

....Well now wasn't this strange.

The thief from the land of Om frowned as he glanced around him, wondering how he had just gone from pouring himself a much needed drink of ale to standing inside what appeared to be a tent, a burning pyre at it's center, and a mysterious woman speaking about paths, ends, and guidance. The usually upbeat and overly dramatic dhampire's face remained uncharacteristically serious as he made his way towards Belladonna, eyeing her with concern.

"Moderator, are you well?" He asked her, voice a low murmur, reaching out with one cool and pale hand to rest on her shoulder, listening to the question that she asked of the strange and unrecognizable figure. She proclaimed to be one who would provide guidance should they seek it, but when had Alexander ever done what he was told?

Still, if she was offering to answer questions...

"How can we ensure that the green kingdom will not fall?"

Might as well get right to the point.

The tall and bronzed skinned woman blinked, staring around at her sudden change of scenery. Had she not just been leaving that cavern, on her way back to her kingdom, to report back to the Emperor on what they had accomplished? She would have thought that perhaps a rock had dislodged from the cave and bashed her in the head, sending her into a dream world....

She shook her head. No, something about this seemed far too real, far too tangible. Her features smooth and carefully blank, she turned her attention towards the figure, listening closely to her words. Who was this woman? There was something about her that made Shaheen feel oddly comfortable, and despite having no idea who she was, she very deeply felt that she could trust her, like it was somebody she knew, and knew very well.

"Who are you?" Her voice, which she had intended to speak in hushed tones, rang out across the tent. "Have we met before?" And even as the questions spilled forth, she felt like she had just seen the oddest thing.

Her Emporer's face, though she was obviously not him. Why did she, for that short moment, resemble him so? She ached with curiosity, burned to ask a hundred questions or more, but for now she waited to be acknowledged.

Night's eyes flicked as something changed, as his form disappeared and reappeared, it was as if his location did as well.

He had well been on his way to the valley, to collect the miasma for his king when he felt the disturbance. At first he was confused, startled, wary and ready for an attack.

And then the fire burned the shade, not physically but figuretevly. It was bright, brighter then most his kingdom.

But the woman at the pyre was not.

She was not unwelcome though, and the shade drifted closer to her. "Guidance is for those who don't feel confident in the path they walk." Night smiled secretively. "Unless you know of the rabbit trails that would lead me astray? Should I be wary of that?"

One moment he as in the royal gardens relaxing, and the next... Well. Shun wasn't entirely certain where he was. There was something vaguely familiar here. For now, he just dismissed it as something he may have once seen somewhere on the streets of the Dream Kingdom. The figure before him also was familiar. Had she visited them before? A traveler perhaps?

He furrowed his brow, before quickly realizing that there were others from other kingdoms here. The Tiger narrowed his eyes and felt himself a little more on guard.

Oh. Riley was here too. Moving over by her, he looked towards the others warily, but then focused on the figure before them all. For now, there would be no battles. But he remained alert just in case.

"Why have you brought us here?"

One moment, she had been seated with the Wheel of Fortune, dreaming of a land that was conquered by the true and rightful king. The next, she was in a place she did not know, and her hair bristled about her face, shadows lashing out like virulent serpents ready to strike at any moment. Her eyes were wide, burning with anger, but Nevena kept a steady rein on her temper.

The pyre was calmed her spirits and made her wary, not trusting the flames that danced from one color to the next in an effortless flow. "You offer guidance," Nevena spoke in a hard voice, trying to steel herself. "But what price must we pay?"

Nothing good ever came for free. That was a lesson she'd learned long, long ago. Still, she did not dare ignore this chance. Somehow, she felt as though this woman would disperse if she did not focus, and information was something she would not pass up so easily.

The disconnect between them was almost enough to make her scream. It unnerved her, made her feel as though she was being hollowed away from the inside out. Strong. She needed to be strong.

It was as if it wasn't really happening at all, but there she was. Levi was on her way back to the Kingdom after quite a stirring commotion at the fallen Silver Tower. Contemplating the various things the Silver King had down there, she knew that she would have to discuss the findings with Xiu. Truthfully, they all needed to know. The Red Queen saw it in the best interest of them, as a united kingdom, to know if there was an object of reasonable power pertaining to their ultimate success or defeat in times of upcoming war. The Phoenix would announce this finding to everyone. Tome; a tome of knowledge.

It was here in this very step she took towards the doors of the kingdom that she blinked herself into a completely different scene. However different it was, there was something peculiarly familiar about the blackened tent. Inside, the figure spoke over the blurred glow of a pyre through the material. She spoke to all of them. There were others among her- one being the sister Tortoise and the other Shun, the Tiger. Sighing with relief at seeing Riley and Shun safe somewhere, the Queen's mind began to decipher through the riddling statement given by the ominous figure of the tent. she had but one inquiry after all the others had asked.

She willed for the safety of the kingdom.

What guidance is there to ensure our paths all lead to survival?"

If they had but one end, let it be one of life. The sadness of the figure surely didn't have to mean their demise. If there was a way, she wanted to know it.

Kiwi was about to reach for one of the strange crystals in the underground cave, when a strange sensation overtook him. The air around him almost seemed to shift in a haze of fog and familiar hues, swirling and dimming uncertainly ... before brightening again into an entirely different scene.

The sight took the noble by surprise. This tent, this pyre ... No, no, this figure. There was something so very ... comforting about her. Familiar and warm. And he slowly had the feeling, a very urgent, intense, and yet unexplained feeling that he knew her quite well. It was simply there, hanging in the air, coursing through him, as certain as he stood. His golden eyes watched her as she moved, every shift of her figure the ghost of a fading image ... an image that, for a flickering moment, sang with all the warmth, nobility, and pride of their own king.

Guidance. Paths. A smile twitched on the corners of his lips with a vague familiarity. Where had he heard that before?? ...

He bowed his head kindly to the figure. "I am willing to hear more. Please, tell me what I may do to aid my beloved kingdom."

Gene was just about to speak to Terra, telling her she didn't mind holding her box of food, when she was transported to the oddly familiar tent and pyre. Strange indeed, she thought, how she recognized the set up and the person but couldn't put a finger on who they were or where she was.

The figure spoke of guidance - a sorely needed thing for all the Kingdoms. What had the Phoenix been saying right before she was taken to this room? Something about a tome, a relic that was rightfully the Red Kingdom's. They could use it for victory, more than likely - in fact she knew it would be to their advantage. The ancestors never left anything useless in books.

"Can you guide us to the Tome?" She asked, taking into consideration what the figure was saying about guidance changing the paths. If the figure was offering...

She had been running around the kingdom, helping her nobles clear out and start assisting those who had returned from their respected requests from the king, gold dancing around her eyes, as it always had. Now she was in a tent.

It was warm and somehow, there was a part of her that nagged her mind, the smell of the outdoors, the feeling the pyre in front of her, dancing in multiple colours and creating illusions of someone, something , dancing in the flames. It was familiar, there was a nagging sense that she had been before. Squinting a little, she tried to focus, mis-matched eyes watching the flickering image, feeling that she almost had it, that thought on her mind, the words on her tongue, before the pyre's smoke overlapped with the Emperor's, a gold flash, a warming feeling.

Somehow, she felt that she could trust this one. She wasn't sure why, but the warmth that it brought, the . . . feeling of comfort, like a string pulled towards her. Giving the soft illusion of a woman a small, curt bow, she listened carefully, nodding softly with the words.

"Sometimes one needs guidence in their darkest times." She said quietly. "If you wish to guide me, I am willing to listen - as long as it assists me in helping my Emperor." She finished. She was faithful to him, ultimately, but not closed off to the possibility of assistance.

Especially went it felt this warm.
