Kaguya turned to the one who had asked for apple juice, that was certainly an odd request, but one she could certainly fulfill. “I have water infused with apple, I’m unsure if this is what you’re looking for, but perhaps it would be good enough to satisfy you for now? She was quick to turn to the other and furrow her brows. “Cups aren’t made to be licked. Let it cool down, I can assure you my tea is divine.” ((I have to head to bed D: ))

"And thank you, sir!" said Acerium, waving as he walked away. The blue kingdom... Well, she had wanted to go there. once. when she was young. Maybe she would go later. "Hey! Daniel!" She called, wheeling over to her associate... since pheasant-lady hadn't noticed her. "Business going well?" her thoughts were elsewhere. She could try Blue Kingdom... And risk losing everything... Or she could try White kingdom... They liked plants, didn't they? And were always so mysterious! Or... or... Gah! She couldn't choose! "Say... Will you be shadowing this time around, Daniel?"

She listened carefully as Vaska offered her a for the new knife. It only took her a moment to think it through. She had the coin and it left her with plenty left over to finish her shopping. The knife had been passed down from friend to friend. Sigrún smiled thinking this was her moment to pass it on. Though its blade needed sharpening and a little mending, Vaska with his skill could easily mend the knife. "I agree to this price Vaska and happily pay it." Sigrún carefully counted out the coin and laid it along with her old knife's sheath on the stall counter for Vaska. Sigrún was almost too overcome with joy when Moriko told her where she was going. "Green! That's great Momo!" The girl breathed a sigh of relief knowing she wouldn't have to go to a foreign land not knowing anyone. Now she was excited and in adventure mode. She had Moriko's back and knew her friend had hers together they would make a great team. "Hopefully we hear official word soon. I am ready to travel." Sig nodded to her friend.

I'm late! I'm late! the youth scolded himself as he rushed down the crowded hallways of the tower. He was still dressing himself as he went, just managing to get his tank top on. It was amazing that he managed to even button his tail up today. He was up all night at the bar - playing requests by those drunks! But it was his job, it was his career, it was his passion. But it often made him late. Uru'baen, nicknamed Uru, rushed to the most populated area that he knew of within the tower, the best place to share information, goods, and whatever else one's willing to part with. It was this day that he was looking for, his first, actual Market Day! By playing at the bars every night, he had become adept at being able to play and yet not pay attention to himself. Allowing himself to have open ears for any... chatter. Alcohol makes lips loose, after all. However, that wasn't all he had to offer. The bartender had given him a few bottles of surplus that he could not seem to use and found it a better payment option considering the upcoming ceremony. Hopefully, with his talents as a pianist and some liquid courage, it will be a fruitful day.
As the youth ran, struggling to get an arm through a plan, white button-up shirt, a whisper found its way through a panicked mind.OOC "... in the underground catacombs lies a terrible beast, waiting to devour..." "What?" Uru jerked around, glancing with heterochromatic eyes among the crowd. Everyone was moving in all different directions, it would be difficult to discern who had said it. But... it sparked an interest. In the underground catacombs... he pondered. He didn't know of any catacombs, but if there is a terrible beast, surely someone would know about it. The boy smiled, a sly smile. Something like this would make for some good bartering. Putting his arm through and shrugging up his pack, he strolled toward the crowd of people.
His first order of business was to find that person - the one who took down the names of kingdoms that people requested. He had given it some thought based on some whispers and was not entirely certain. Then again, out of the seven kingdoms, the one he had in mind stood above the others considering he knew even less about the remaining. He came to the scribe and simply replied " The blue kingdom, uh... The Watch." he replied - no, more like questioned. But it was too late, the scribe had already scribbled it down and waved him off to attend to the next. Zoobey signing up for blue kingdom
The pianist walked away from the scribe area, a bit concerned with what had happened. It shouldn't be too bad, if he could find a bar, he could certainly find work anywhere in any kingdom. And with a bar, there is always someone drunk enough to unload their thoughts.
With his bag, the boy peeked about the marketplace, looking for an empty spot where he could set up for himself. Then again... looking inside his bag, he noted the five bottles of alcohol that the bartender had given him, his gold coin pack, and a wrapped meal for later. Perhaps he rushed a bit too much into this. Perhaps he wasn't as prepared for Market Day than he expected. Letting out a sigh, he tossed the pack over his shoulder, looking to see if there was anything interesting to barter for.
It was then that he noted that there was a merchant nearby, rather popular with the amount of people that had come and gone from him. Curious, he decided to see what he was offering. The man was apparently offering daggers and other tools for what he would assume for hunting. Yellow and blue eyes glanced over each gleam of nearly the blades being displayed. He had another idea for one of these. Now, to only get his hands on one...
"Say, sir, how much for your cheapest, but still effective dagger?" He asked with some confidence. His voice was a bit deeper than most would expect, but then again, it was uncommon for him to speak too often unless he, himself, found it necessary. It was best to have the merchant give a price, an unbiased amount. If he knew what he had, he might raise it higher... though, if he really knew what he had, Uru would be lucky to have his pity.
He stood before the seller as a young man dressed in an old, but still good button up shirt over a white tank top, a pair of faded pants with old suspenders hanging on each side of him. With a blue right eye and an oddly yellow for the left, black furred tail and ears, and prominent canines, he appeared otherwise human. Some may say he looked better than others, some would say otherwise, he would say that his father's clothes were being put to better use.

Rei's story of the necklace was interesting, Arynek was actually envied that a small pendant can arrive through kingdom to kingdom but not her. So when the boy offered to go to Black Kingdom with her, she was so thrilling. " REALLY?! Sure I would like to go with you." The girl gave Rei a shinny big smile which was not commonly seen. " Let's go!" Arynek grabbed Rei in her hand and ran towards the empty Pedestal where the scribe was, she didn't want to lose this precious chance because there are quota on how many wild cards going to each kingdom. Rathurue Let's go the Black together! Zoobey Me and Rath is heading to Black Kingdom please?

[[entering: Uluiru]] The market was crowded today--even more so than usual. Murmuring his apologies as he bumped into other people, usually due to jostling from someone else, Uluiru made his way around slowly, stopping to browse at a few of the booths. He had a small satchel, with a few of some of the nicer skins he'd worked into supple leather, simply awaiting his decision as to what he wanted to make out of them. He was on the short side, with a slender (if muscular--he was clearly not one to sit around all day) build, and longish hair that he'd pulled back with a simple leather thong. His skin was tanned (almost the same shade as some of the leather he treated so finely) from so much time spent outdoors, and he moved with a lack of urgency that was deceptive. Weaving his way between the many stalls (and sellers) hawking their wares, Uluiru almost stopped in his tracks, catching faint undertones whispering in a corner. "She made a terrible choice, and keeps in the Observatory her most terrible secret..." He looked around suspiciously--he had an idea who the gossip was about, but was curious as to who had uttered the phrase. There was a great deal that seemed...odd lately, so he supposed that hushed rumors were to be expected. Just what could the king be doing, though, to prompt exactly that sort of rumor...? Shaking his head as if to clear his own head, he took a step forward, and his shoe slipped on...a card? Making a face, he wondered if someone had taken to advertising, and strewn them about haphazardly in hopes of getting to more people. Picking up the strange card, he looked at it, not understanding what it was supposed to mean...however, given everything else going on, and the fact that the symbol was familiar, he pocketed it, determined to look at it more closely later. Zoobey Pickin up a carrrrd! While he was here, he should probably start considering more closely what kingdom he'd like to shadow in--more than his hunting, or leatherworking skills...information paid best of all...and he could use a few supplies, he thought, looking down at his scuffed boots. He could make a new pair, sure...but then he'd have that much less to barter for other things he could use.

His lips twitched into a smile. She had to wonder if this was a good or bad thing, and silently watched him as he pulled a small grey piece of something out of a pocket. Olivia wasn't going to deny that she was curious, and that she was mentally saying 'yes' to all of his questions; she was small, she was quiet and yes... she was overlooked a lot. And she wasn't really hiding the fact that she was leaning a little closer to see what he was unwrapping before her eyes.
The one thing she did have to hide, though, was her awe over the item. It was far superior than anything she could have ever dreamed to make; not with her humble selection of clothing. It was one of those items that she always looked upon at other stalls but could never afford to barter for - unless she got something really good herself, or a bunch of things. It was ... by far, something she would want to keep all to herself.
"I'm unsure if this is a fair trade," She found herself almost whispering, looking at him with big blue eyes. Olivia could almost kick herself for falling into a rookie mindset, but she wasn't sure her's was worth such a beautiful item. But, she wanted it. She really wanted it.

He knew what to say in part because they were issues he sometimes faced. Though likely only due to his preference to silence. Watching meant being overlooked, but it also meant knowledge. However it was still a lonely thing, and troubling for anyone going somewhere to sell things. Thus, that led to his selection. And perhaps he was right, as certainly she was curious. Sadly he might have been wrong. Her face didn't shine and sparkly like a child spotting a kitten, rather she kept a cool expression. Not a promising outlook for a trade. Then again, maybe she wasn't one to like baubles. Her skills didn't suggest such, and it was quite common for their people. It would just... make his job more difficult. It would mean selling it's value elsewhere. She'd have to talk some other person into it. That, was more work. People often disliked thinking to have to pay it off again in the future. There wasn't certainty with that. And her words did concern him, but he forced a thin smile on his face, masking that fact that he was a bit unsure himself. Her comment was a classic one, but still a valid one. If anything, it just meant justifying that his was, if nothing else, the better of the two items. "Well, it is certainly one of a kind, and the metal is truly silver. So a precious thing. Though if such is not to your taste..." He trailed off, thinking again to what he had that might work. Bright colors wouldn't do, nothing with ruby or topaz. If she disliked silver there was a small gold pin. "Though... before you decide a mirror perhaps if you have one? I think it would suit you. Shall we see?" Truly though, the sales point was made easy. You just had to make them think it was made for them, and they'd want it no matter what. chirigami THE INTERWEBS LUB JOO AGAIN?

Flustering David was exactly what Nkosazana was intending to accomplish, nothing more, nothing less. There was no real motivation for her to actually try to prod David into a relationship, nor did she really think he was someone who would be in one. Still, the temporary blush, as fleeting as it was due to the commotion, made Nkosazana grin widely in a way she normally did not, typically a woman of rather reserved emotions.
"Admittedly, I wish I was too. I'm no kind of expert," she murmured, with a laugh. "I can pick up patterns, and I can see they only used some numbers here and some of the patterns those numbers come in repeat, but there are multiple patterns which throw off the way it goes. There's no real obvious pattern if it's a differing pattern, so it's either some kind of code or the man isn't all there."
He was, after all, the Trash King.
"Still, I wish I could do something for him. Men like that always have some kind of story, and to be that off, perhaps he has such a severe story in his past that he is yearning for someone to share it with." Nkosazana bit her lip, tempted to chase after the distant sound of clanking pans. She stopped herself, though, shaking her head and turning to where people were signing up to go to locations instead. "I suppose that is not my duty, today. Perhaps we should pick a Kingdom, before they start sorting people on their own!"
Nkosazana beckoned for David to follow, thinking on their choices as they approached. "Those in Gold are too prideful, those in Blue are too violent, those in Red and Green are almost too dreamy." She laughed. "I don't think I could stand to be in such a place without my feet firmly planted on the ground! Or ... steel, as it were. Have you ever gone to White? I have not. I'm curious to know what kinds of stories they have buried in there, what information we could find for our knowledge, perhaps."
She tapped her chin, before taking a pen and pondering it a moment, before glancing over to David. "White has a whole wide variety of people. Worse comes to worse, I'm sure we could easily blend into the background."
That was, perhaps, the ultimate reason why she signed her name to tour the White Kingdom this time.

David chewed his lip thoughtfully as Nkosazana spoke, The White Kingdom, that sounded interesting to say the least. People from the stars, at least that's what he'd heard. It wouldn't hurt to see if those rumors were true. Well, it might, but it would be interesting nonetheless. "That definitely sounds like it could be a good plan. I've always wondered about the White Kingdom..." David was mildly startled to be addressed again, especially by a name that wasn't his. Hopefully she was talking to him, otherwise this would be a bit awkward. "Er...business is going well thanks, but my name isn't Daniel, it's David," He gave a sheepish smile, "Yes, I am shadowing with my friend here." He gestured to Nkosazana "The White Kingdom. From what I've heard about them they're a truly fascinating culture." His voice was wistful, the part of him that had once longed to be an explorer surfacing briefly. It was never too late he mused to himself. "Are you?" Zoobey David's going to the White Kingdom!

As Molan began to list off a few new items, her eyes grew wide and worried. He was going to take it away? Without much thought, her hand shot out, resting on top of one of his own - yet thankfully not on the item itself, there was at least that much self control. Wouldn't want to look like a thief.
"I meant yours over mine," Olivia corrected herself; she had done it again and wasn't clear the first time around. "I'd feel bad, for just my one item. So, maybe you could choose another as well?" Any thoughts about profits from this exchange were out the window, and she was perfectly aware of that. But it was so rare that an item of such beauty and well crafted came directly to her, and from the creator himself. Usually it was all second hand, or even lower... and more over, it was always to sell later. This was one of those rare moments that she wanted it herself.
And well, she wanted it fairly.

CLANG.
The scribe looked nonplussed as the bell tower chimed behind him. He closed his book on the first chime, and then slammed both hands on the table at the second and third. "We have enough ambassadors for this week- " He had to yell to actually be heard, pausing as the bell tower finally stopped on the eleventh chord, "The Silver Kingdom appreciates its volunteers. Now, for those who have signed their name into the records, your Miasma has been attuned to that Kingdom, and the portal will do the res-
- For a single, ridiculous moment, as the ground began shaking terribly, it felt like the earth was rising with them into the sky.
And then, the second moment the obvious. Even the scribe could not out-shout the screams that erupted, panic and error even as others tried to decipher exactly what was going on.
The Silver Kingdom tower was crumbling. That was the reason for the moment of confusion: they weren't rising, no, everything around them was was falling. Pure panic now. Masses of greys, drab robed citizens abandoning everything, scattering, avoiding the loud cracks as the earth peeled apart, avoiding the debris raining down. Others were not so lucky, crushed in an instant with no place to return to.
It was even stranger now, for those who had even a moment to glance at their crumbling tower. As the tower peeled, as parts of it dissolved piece by piece, something was indeed rising up from the caved-in earth around it. Thick vents of steam and fog, curling upwards, unnaturally moving in a perfect semi-circular spiral upwards around the fallen tower like a half-formed serpent.
Miasma.
The Miasma stored in the underground reserves was escaping from the Kingdom.
The Silver Kingdom had fallen.
Several Wild Cards felt themselves grabbed, and them pushed hastily, a voice yelling at them. The scribe. A few words "There's no time-" -"the portal, head towards-" "-the other Kingdoms will take care-" "-go!" Everything else dissolved into further mayhem, even the portal at the other end of the fair grounds seemed an impossible race. Citizens were being shoved, pushed as they scrambled to exit first. The ground crackled loudly, caving in at various intervals, swallowing several live without a single scream. And even then there were was the fog, the broken Miasma now swirling outwards from the tower, threatening to consume in its wild, untamed state.
The Silver Kingdom had fallen. But what did it mean for them? OOC gaia_crown [ ESCAPE! ]- THE SILVER KINGDOM HAS CRUMBLED.. the King is....? Keel never did get his drink.
Screams interrupted the three’s good time together, alerting everyone around of the Kingdom’s ruin. It was crumbling. Keel wasn’t sure what to do, but she froze in his spot on the floor. What… The citizens were pushing past them and Keel end up landed on his rear once more as the other ran past. He barely avoids getting trampled by those fleeing by dodging towards the closest wall possible.
Sadly, this separated her from Rex and the vender lady.
