He is not one to tolerate idiocy, and is forthright enough to say when he believes someone's acting or saying something stupid, which inevitably gets him in trouble. He intends to rise one day to be a herd stallion, but for now, he's merely the lead stallion of my journal. For those who do not have Stars, any additional foals will probably find good homes with people who will RP at least a little amongst those without Stars first and foremost. He agrees with me on that point: share the love and joy of Stars to all people. However, begging for foals will definitely piss us both off enough that foals won't go to you. He doesn't like whiners and nuisances, and can be bad-tempered enough to chase you off. *Shrugs* Nobody said he was a little angel, did they? After all, he's a stallion. History: Lugh's history, like the history of all Stars who fell to Earth, is an open question. What little he has remembered since falling is that he was a distant sun from a distant galaxy, warm and bright and life-giving. Like all Stars who fell, he roved too close to Sirius Point and fell through, tumbling to Earth. He was luckier than most in that he landed in a deep snowfield. Being a sun, he traveled as fast as he could from the snow into the fields below. Once there, he found a mare named Vienna. They had a daughter named Sunniva. Vienna disappeared after Sunniva's birth, and Lugh took his daughter to explore Earth. They found other Stars and, with Lugh's new lifemate Regina, they founded the Sunflare Herd. She is kind and loving to everyone she meets. She is also graceful, delicate, and somewhat independent. She is also the loyal type, devoting her energies to the herd and to her loved ones. Sunniva is also a very responsible young mare; she embodies a lot of the qualities needed in an heiress, and takes her role in the herd very seriously. History: Lughnasadh was away during parts of Sunniva's youth, but always loved her very dearly. Now that she is an adult, she lives with him, helping her father and new mother run the herd. For that and many other things about his daughter that he respects, she the heiress to the leadership of the herd. Bearing that in mind, Sunniva does her best to live up to that responsibility. Recently, she fell in love with a nova stallion named Jadon, and they had three sons together. They hope to stay together, and Lugh and Regina have very kindly and lovingly consented to stay near the sea and incorporate novas into the herd in some way.  Name: Regina Gender: Mare Stage: Herd Leader Herd: Sunflare Herd Star Type: Arion unknown Parents: Unknown Siblings: Unknown Mate: Lughnasadh (lifemate) Children: Kana, Delilah, Brennus, Nos, Cu'cuc Personality: She is a born leader, and always goes where he heart tells her, which is why she gets along so well with Lugh. It's like that have the same spirit. Regina is responsible, elegant, and very intelligent. She was the first of her kind to fall, so she takes full advantage of her ability to become small as a butterfly and go unnoticed among the herd to see how they are living and if Lug and her need to do anything to improve moral. She quickly came to love her stepdaughter, Sunniva, and treats her as if she were her own. History: After meeting Lughnasadh and Sunniva, she helped them start the Sunflare Herd.  Name: Kaede Gender: Mare Stage: Elder (Gift) Herd: Sunflare Herd Star Type: Arcturus unknown Parents: Unknown Siblings: Unknown Mate: Evander (fling); Laminira (lifemate) Children: Blodeuwedd, Hemlock Personality: Kaede's Fall was not easy. While it is unknown what type of star she was in the night sky, it is clear she has a complete memory of her past. As a result, even though she loves her new world and her home in the Sunflare Herd, she's a very sad, regretful mare looking for a reason to keep going in this world. History: As stated before, Kaede did not have an easy Fall. She doesn't talk about her past in Dreamspace, which she does remember, but she is very glad that the Sunflare Herd found her and helped her get back on her feet. She also does the right thing, especially if it's for love, even if it scares her and may have terrible repercussions for everyone. History: Sometimes, a series of events in a parallel universe turn out differently, and they did so for Amalthea. She was the last arcturus in her part of Dreamspace, just like Mia (the official TLU cosplay; Amalthea is an unofficial TLU cosplay), but there was a critical difference to the end of the story. At the instant that Prince Lir died, Lir was accidentally turned into an arcturus by Schmendrick--a dead arcturus who looked rather different from other arcturai in that part of the world. When the battle was ended and Lir was revived, Schmendrick was given the opportunity to turn Lir back into his old self, but Amalthea refused to let that happen. Lir was still too confused to say anything. They had their happily ever after until the Great Starfall, and are now trying to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives and go on. Even before Falling, this was her personality, and if anything happened to her mind or personality as a result of the Fall, it was that she got even more bad-tempered. Don't get her wrong, she's truly a good person, but that doesn't mean she has to spout sunshine and butterflies and rainbows all the time. She does seem to have a memory of life before the Fall, but that's none of your beeswax, young 'un. History: Kumiko's story is a private matter between her and herself. He's the sort to play tricks on people, and often, the more dangerous the better. True to his name, he lives life hard, fast, and dangerous, and wouldn't have it any other way. It's just a terrifying shame that he makes others near him live the same way. Messing with him is like playing with fire: fun for a while, but dangerous, and really scary and painful when you get burned. He's not going to be a good family member or a good friend. He's just not that kind of stallion. Since he'll trick you and mess with you regardless of feelings on either side, he's a heartbreaker, the worst of allies, an absent father, and an uncaring enemy. Recently, it's been discovered that while he's a sadist for most people, he's a masochist for anyone who could shred him without remorse. Since he's made Retinadeath into this sort of person and wants to keep her that way out of a twisted love, they are unofficial lifemates. He doesn't really take it too personally, since his older half-sister helped raise him and his sisters, but it has caused feelings of not being needed until he met Fauna. He loves her very much and calls her his princess. History: Brennus was born the first son of his father with an older half-sister as the herd's heiress. She's also the sort to seem very distant, though in fact she's very loving. It just takes time to get to know her. History: Like Lugh, Miyu landed in the snow, but unlike the Fallen sun, she stayed for a while in the wintry world of the heights. She may come down, but hasn't really seen much reason to. The world is nearly as beautiful as her glade in Dreamspace (maybe even more beautiful), it's peaceful, and life is pleasant in her new snowy home. Living in a large family and an even larger herd, it's hard to get time to oneself, so he grew up spending quite a bit of time on the beach and playing by himself in the waves. He'd make an ideal knight in shining armor, if not for his natural serenity. He'll make an excellent nanny and father, whenever life turns in that direction. History: Born the second of seven grandsons of the great Lughnasadh, the second from the powerful Sunflare Herd heiress Sunniva, and the only arcturus in the family since Sunniva's mother Vienna, Njord has an odd place in the family and the herd. He's never been one to mind terribly, taking life steadily and preferring to spend time near the ocean where his father Jadon and younger brother Ryu live. RP Color: Medium blueRPs:

 Name: Ailill Gender: Stallion Stage: Adult Herd: Dreamer's Glass Herd Star Type: Arion Parents: Fauna and Brennus Siblings: River Mate: Fea (lifemate) Children: Morcalma, Suli Lhach Personality: Ailill is definitely a proud descendant of Lughnasadh's lineage, brave, clever, attractive, and quite the manly figure, but he also takes a suprisingly high degree of pride in being an arion. He's not racist or anything, he's just proud of what he is. He probably won't end up sticking with other herds for very long, ending up in a different herd from when he started, but as far as he's concerned, that adds spice to life. He's the adventurous type like that, but he can also be a little childish or mysterious. Frustrating, but being part of Lugh's lineage, he's still the good-natured sort. History: Born the fifth of seven grandsons of the great Lughnasadh, the younger from Lughnasadh's only son Brennus, and the only arion in his generation of the family, Ailill has as an unusual place in the family as his cousins Njord and Ryu, both of whom are also of unique breeds, whereas the rest of their generation of the family are Starborn. Being adventurous and not the sort to stay tied down, he has often been put on scout duty or even guard duty for the herd, though if he moves on to another herd, he will not maintain this position.
