Ailill pranced through the fields on the southern borders of the lands of the Sunflare Herd. It was a glorious spring day, bright and clear, filled with the scent and sight of flowers in full bloom. He grinned, having a soft spot for beautiful things. Sure, he felt even less at home than his father in the Sunflare Herd, being the second son of the first son of the great Lughnasadh when the male heirs would not rule the herd, but that didn't mean that Ailill didn't love his herd and his family on some level. It was still a pretty deep level, but....
An adventure, a quest, or a romance was in order. Ailill didn't really care which it was of the three, as long as it shook up his life and got it moving. He grinned as he gazed across the fields, considering the adventures he might go on, and where he might go from the lands of the Sunflare Herd.
He was most likely going to leave, probably southward, to wherever summer and spring lasted longer. Sure, they lasted a while here, but Ailill loved the fruits and flowers of spring and summer perhaps the most out of his entire clan. In addition, there wasn't a war impending on the herd's southern flank, just a war on their eastern flank, so his clan wouldn't worry about him going south. He wouldn't get caught up in the war and would still have an adventure.
He grinned and scanned the southern horizon...in time to glimpse what was going to be his romance and adventure, not to mention a destiny that would make him very happy.
