Nokomis was found as a young foal by a human, far away from the Kawani lands. She was found in an open area of woods with the moon shining down on her. All she remembers of this is waking up looking into the eyes of a tan skinned young girl, no more then 14 yrs. old. This girl cared for her very much and they grew together. After a month or so Noko got her strength and could run around more. She had a happy foalhood.
As she grew all could see her love of the moon, the mystery that surrounds it....and her. This was how she got her name Nokomis-Daughter of the Moon. The people believed it was the moon who bore her and bathed her in its light, thus the small glow Nokomis has around her. Noko soon was able to master flight and loved to fly in the night sky, with the moon high.
After a few years her human told her she saw a small piece of her future and she must venture to truly find herself and her past. It was with a heavy heart that she left with nothing but the whispers of the moon guiding her. She traveled for 2 more years learning of the soquili more, especially of Unicorns. She had heard of the lands surrounding the Kawani village and knew somehow she'd find herself there.
She has since arrived and had been leading a most happy life.
Personality: Noko, is loving and accepting to all. She does not look down on any, no matter there species, breed, ect. She is very fond of the moon and is always in high spirits when it is high in the sky. She is not easily intimidated, or frightened. She is kind to all she meets and accepting of any an all differences and faults one may have. She is a kind soul and loving, but being so accepting of others she may be too trusting and naive at times.
Nokomis is very elegant in her movements and her speech as well. She is proper when speaking unless she gets distracted or if certain emotions rise. She is very kind and gentle and seeks to heal the wounds of others, be it mental or physical. She hates to see others in any kind of pain. She seems drawn to those with hidden wounds, those with sorrow and tries to heal them in whatever way she can. She'll try to show them the beauty and light that is still in the world around them, show them they aren't alone. She is lead by the moon, the whispers it sends on the winds. The healing glow that surrounds her she believes was a blessing and gift from the mother moon. It leads her to do what is right, in her eyes and her heart

Backstory: Was a basket and foal surrounded with love even if his coming into this world was a bit of a surprise and a bit odd...who knew a ride could bring a miracle with it....
personality:Kohaku believes in giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and never judges one on a first impression or by first glance. He believes everyone deserves a fair trail even when they are caught red handed(or hoofed). They still have the right to explain themselves and give a defensive do they not. The world is not a fair place so the least he can do is to try and be as far as possible in it's place.
He is also a great gentlemen having been brought up right, he never forgets his manners, but that isn't to say he doesn't get into trouble. Thanks to his eldest(adopted) adopted sister Aurora her mischievous streak has rubbed off on him and he has been known to get into trouble on his many adventures. He loves exploring new places and has gained his mothers love of travel and learning of new places and gaining new knowledge, but he knows where his home lies.
Kohaku is also very protective of nature and those he loves, if anything should threaten that balance he will do anything in his power to straighten it out and keep it's delicate balance as it should be. He loves to teach others what he knows and in turn learn even more about the earth they live on and share. Overall he is a caring and loving young stallion with a heart of gold that never judges or criticizes...he is indeed a special one.

Backstory: Born into a very loving family
Personality: Kiran is very much a foal at heart, but can be serious when the situation calls for it. He loves to fly and feels his freest under the sun and above the trees. He is very close to his family and would do anything for them, but he is a bit of flirt and this can get him into trouble at times. He does wish for love, but he is young so isnt looking for it. He is a very valiant sort though, very much a knight mentality. Any that are in need he will try to help, he shies from violence if possible but if the ones he loves are threatened in any way he will do what he has to to protect them and keep them from harm. He is very family oriented, family is his heart and it's not defined by blood.
Backstory: A gift from above. A magical woven child by a mysterious rainbow and tiki god from the summer 2012 event. CC'd by DD. From a basket she was surrounded with love and light by the moon, stars, and her big brother sun. Named Aruhe in honor of the Maori god that gifted the basket to Nokomis and Monoceros. It is Maori for 'Heaven wards'
personality:Aruhe takes after both parents equally almost. She is soft spoken and very caring and kind. Her parents have taught her to be accepting of all and to never discriminate for ones looks. 'Never judge a book by it's cover. Though it may be rough and tattered around the edges inside can lie the greatest story ever told.' Aruhe is also a healer of heart much like her mother she can not stand to see anyone sad or hurt. Though not a pure unicorn, but mostly so Aruhe does have healing abilities to match or even surpass her mother, but her true healing is in her motivational and kind words. She always means best, but sometimes may seem nosy but it's not her intent she just wishes to heal and show kindness to all.
She is of a calmer nature, not quite as adventurous as her elder brother, liking to stay close to home. But she is def. one for learning and never passes up the chance to learn something new be it a plant and it's healing properties or of the animals of the forest. She is very bright and not one to be taken lightly despite her daintiness, she is not one easily fooled. She very good at reading emotions and can tell a lot of the time when one is hiding something or lying. She may not condone lying, but there is a fine line to many things.
Recent development:Aruhe has found love, true love and she found it soon. Something about young love under the stars. First a bestfriend, then the love of her life. In their young love they have been gifted something very great. Aruhe came upon a basket near her field, she waited for someone to come back for it, but none did. Her mother and father gone on an excursion she had to make a decision herself. She took in the basket after talking with Eri. Though unsure what to do, Eri too knew they couldn't just leave it. So together they agreed to raise this young one as her mother had took in her older adopted sister Aurora as a foal. And when things get tough she has her brother and mother to help them.....a new adventure begins..... xD

Backstory: Aether was the result of a mistake his birth-mother Eira had no intention of letting survive as she was angry at the world, but as her belly grew so did her maternal instincts and though a hunter through and through she was not a killer. She meet Aether's father by chance, he was fun and reckless and even a bit of a challenge...it was a new kind of hunt for her. They tolerated each other, used each other and it worked perfectly until somehow she ended up pregnant. Being in pain and angry already the more hormones the worse it got, but in the end she survived and wanted to give her children a chance to as well. She had abandoned them when she was strong enough to get up after they came, she didnt get far knowing despite everything she had a strange and unconditional love for her sons. When she went back to the spot where she left them she saw in the distance Spice taking one of them. She wished to run after him and save her child, but she was still weak....but the other was there to save. She traveled a few days, whispering loving words to Aether as he slept and continued to grow in his basket until she found a young very much in love couple....she envied them a little, but in that she realized this where her child needed to be, with two loving parents that could give him every advantage growing up so Eira left him with a loving nuzzle and 'Grow strong in life and love.....I shall always be with you though you may not see me....' She left him at the edge a grand field of flowers where the couple would have to see him. And see him they did. The mare, Aruhe found him not long after her mate had left to check on his mother. The mare waited for a very long time but when no one returned she took the basket further into the field and wrapped her body around it keeping it safe and warm. Upon returning the stallion and mare agreed to take care of the child as it he were their own........
Personality: Aether is a kind young stallion and is very happy, but he is not without pain. After he came out of his basket(after a month or two) his 'parents' told him he was adopted, somehow he knew this as there was no resemblance to them. It didnt make him love them any less, he had always known something was missing and he at least knew why now. He was somewhat self-conscious considering his strange head wings, but his mother and father were there to support him. Eri(his dad) was no stranger to being somewhat 'different' himself and he helped Aether in many ways with that, as Aruhe had helped him when he was younger.
Despite the and support Aether is painfully shy when meeting new faces, always expecting jeering and/or laughing at him for his weird wings. He has some control over them, but most of the time it seems they have a mind of their own.....Always flapping gently and flapping rather fast if he gets nervous(which happens more often then not) He also is a bit unsecure always thinking why his biological parents just left him....maybe it was because of how he looked. Thats all he can think of to explain it as much as he tries to tell himself otherwise.
Other then that, once he does get close to someone he is very caring and kind and overall a happy boy with a great sense of humor and healthy curiosity for nature. He especially loves being out when the sun is high and bright in the sky, it helps him feel 'lifted'. Once he is your friend their is no 'unfriending him' as he is loyal through and through. He is a bit of a push-over as he refuses to argue with anyone. He'll put his 'two-cents' in, but after hearing anothers view point that is different he may agree to it just to avoid conflict. This can make him an easy target to be used unfortunately, but he can take care of himself in most cases.

Personality: Misae is a very kind and gentle soul, never one to raise her voice. She has learned to not judge a book by its cover, for the story inside may greatly surprise you. Backstory/History:
Personality: Iris is as her temper states, Sparkling. She is enchanting and a little mysterious at times. She follows the stars as they call to her heart. She is an avid reader of the stars and follows their words. She is very calm and kind, rather motherly to those she meets. She knows no evil, that saying she steers clear of dark souls, but should she meet one with a glimmer of light left she would try to redeem. She will help any she meets in any way she can, she loving but a little hyper at times, embracing her inner child.
Personality: Cygnus is a child at heart with a larger then life spirit to match a heart of gold. He is one that loves life, live in the moment and likes to show others the joy of living life to the fullest. He is drawn to others that live without restraint but he knows good from evil, but even so he believes an Evil Soul could still live life to the fullest. One thing Cyg doesn’t handle well, however is Death. He fears death and the unknown of what's beyond it…..he realizes he's not immortal so why limit himself?
Cygnus is an adventurer, he is always searching for that one Grand Adventure. He is one that wants the one goal that life gives us all, or that's how he sees it. He always seeks out new friends, always wanting to help them. This could be what lead him to that grand adventure he always wanted. He's never going to let his brother to falter in their chosen path, Aquila is 3/4 of his entire world at least. He cant imagine a day without the other and Cygnus will quickly get upset if Aquila is upset. No matter what his brother chooses in life Cygnus will be there to support and pick up the slack is Aquila falters for any reason. This passion for his brother will extend to any kids either of them have as family is at the forefront of his mind and heart.
We have flaws though, and Cygnus's is Death his biggest fear. This fear has crippled him in the past and could do so again in the future. Death and the Unknown are not his only fears though. He has a fear of great amounts of blood, little drips a small cut is fine. It's when the is a pool from someone or something's recent kill or the like that becomes an issue. Also crickets, no thanks! He doesn’t mind hearing them, but when they jump at him or near him that he has his freak out moment.
Personality: Aquila is very much like his brother, both are 'free-spirited', being able to channel their inner foal with little effort. Aquila is a little more hyper then his brother and has a higher tendency to wander and not tell Cygnus which sometimes can lead to Cyg freaking out or a good scolding once Aquila comes back or is found. Another similarity is they LOVE life and want to make the most of it. Cyg is always looking for the grand adventure but Aquila thinks life is the adventure…which may aid in his 'wandering heart.
Aquila is the older of the 2, but you may not realize it when meeting them. Though they both love life, Aquila is a again a tad hyper and finds it harder to 'tap-out' of the foal. Aquila likes to run free and wild at times, following the stars always, but his brother is his world. Aquila does like to push the boundaries and push his buttons but he would do anything for his family(extending to kids and mate(s) down the road).
There are some times with Aquila where him being the oldest comes off, but that is usually when they encounter a fear of Cygnus. In reality Aquila is a good ball most of the time now since when they were foals he took care of Cygnus. He still isnt sure what caused Cyg's fears of blood and death but they are understandable to a point. It’s the fear of crickets he dealt with most in the younger days. Aquila was always trying the shelter Cyg from these fears it was hard for him to have fun, but he wouldn't change it for anything.

Backstory:
Personality: Uriel was raised in a group situation by Valkyries, his parents comparable to what we know as the Legend of Odin and his most cherished Valkyrie Brunhilda. He was raised to protect the souls of those living and honor those departed. Being a male he is unable to lead the souls of fallen warriors to their domain, so he set his sights more on preventing others from dying. Though he doesnt like death he understands that it is part of a grand cycle and he honors those that cannot be saved. He is a Knight through and through, he is also a true gentlemen and always puts ladies first. He cares deeply for his family, but felt his calling elsewhere so he left the cold north and has found himself in the Kawanii lands searching for his purpose. He will aid all those in need that he meets. He has a steadfast constitution and never falters from his path.
