It had been a while since Toki had left Elune and their home. He didn't seem to be any closer to finding closure. But he had definitely learned a lot from a few Soq he had meet along the way. And though he was growing a sadness still lingered. One he hoped would go away soon. One he knew would be gone by the time he made it back home, where he belonged.
After a long walk through the plains, he made it back to the forest. It had been a long day and the sun was about to set. Toki to this as time to rest. He lied next to a large tree bordering the plains he had just walked through and the forest he had just made it too. He stretched his wings out some, as they had been sitting closed to his side for too long. He loved to fly, but he probably wasn't going to get any answers flying all over the place. He now only flew when he needed to get somewhere quick, like for water, food or shelter. He missed flying. But his wings weren't going anywhere.
Looking up at the sun before him, he could only image the colors that were soon going to over take the sky. Though Toki was more of a night owl. He noticed with all of his wondering, that he had been missing out on some beautiful things while asleep during the day. He'd have to share some of them with Elune when he got back home.
Pausing for a moment, he was brought back his thoughts of the purpose of his journey. Only to be saddened again. So, he began to sing.
"So here we are now, break what's already broken.
I guess I could've seen this if you'd been around.
Lets tear the past wide open. I can't take this anymore!
I'm tired of breakin', I'm tired of breakin'.
I want the world to see, you sold a broken dream.
You were not there for me, I was unraveling.
All that we never knew, that could've been me and you.
But you took everything, now we're just here unraveling.
What have we become? The hopeless dramatic?
I think it's over. We hope the find the truth still breathing.
Can we survive that long?"
His voice was a bit rugged, yet soft at the same time. The rock Gods definitely shone brightly above him when he sang. Though the lyrics didn't help with him not thinking about his situation... Singing just helped him in general. And though his voice was soft, it could be heard a pretty good distance away...
