 Luminary had grown into a beautiful adventurous and very colorful mare. Her sister tended to stay near her father but while Lumi loved both of her parents very dearly, she had an itch to get out and see new things and learn all there was for her to learn of the world. She had been confined to her nest for far too long and her legs were too long to stay put in that downey place.
She tucked her enormous wings in and picked through the forest, unafraid of anything in these quiet woods, she was on a mission today. Her expression brightened, much like the sunny yellow on her coat. She was off to see her friend Kohaku, she hadn't been able to see him much, but they had been the best of friends, both colorful adventurous little foals. It would be good to see him again, and perhaps that sneaky Neko as well! if she could find him of course. She giggled musically and started out for the place Kohaku last called "Home"

 Kohaku stretched his wings from his sunny spot. The day was bright and new. He had grown from foal to stallion too soon his mother keeps saying, but she is very proud and noble he has become. He was his mother's son, his thrusts wanting to explore and have adventures discovering new places and people....the world called to him but something else echoed louder inside him. He needed a partner and wouldn't dare even think to leave her behind. Of coarse this was to be his birdy buddy, Lumi. His most treasured and dearest friend she had grown too and was a beautiful women now and other feeling stirred inside Kohaku for his believed friend. It concussed him at time but she is still silly little Lumi! And he was every so excited for her to be coming his place, a sunny field In the forest.....Wait she was coming here! 'Oh dear it's a mess......what will she think of me now' he frantically starts to tidy up nature not realizing the sun through the tress was a sight to be hold in itself.

Luminary glided down into the area which Kohaku's family resided in, she tucked her wings to her sides and tossed her head in an effort to get her dandelion poof of a mane out of her eyes as she searched for her big goofy pumpkin butt friend. He'd been her best friend since childhood, even next to Neko, Kohaku and her just seemed to match, they liked the same things, they could finish each others sentences, that sort of thing. They were the perfect duo of awesome. She beamed happily as she looked high and low for him, she'd only seen him a few times between her explorative trips around the area, and he'd certainly grown into a fine stallion! Her heart felt squeezy sometimes, she thought that was rather odd, she flicked an ear in thought, perhaps this was what her mom felt with her dad? It WAS possible, she WAS a grown mare after all! Her sunny cheeks turned peachy, blushing over the mere idea of it. "Oh my..." She giggled and found the field through the trees, easily spotting Kohaku as a big winged orange blot in the sea of green. " YO!" she called happily, hop skipping over to him merrily, her large wings spread. " I-FOUUUunnnd-youuuu~!!!" she singsonged, bumping shoulders with him in greeting.
