Q. What are these?
A. Overworld sprites of TRHQ characters. They're a little 'thank you' bonus for those who have been active in RP and the shop.
Q. Hey! I have a character at TRHQ and they aren't on this list!
A. There are several reasons this may be:Your character doesn't have a journal with an adequate physical description.
Your character hasn't been active in RP. 'Active' is an indefinite term, but interaction with a variety of characters in multiple RPs (not just one or two) and participation in ORPs and shop plots goes far. Consistently plotting and chatting in the thread helps too. (It also helps to keep a list of RPs in your character's journal. Easy reference.)
Your character hasn't been around for a while. Also an indefinite term, but if I'm starting to wonder if you've fallen down the old well without Lassie's knowledge that's probably a good indicator.
Your sprite hasn't been made yet.
Q. Wait a second, some of these aren't active! Some of them aren't even alive anymore!
A. Some characters remain on the roster indefinitely despite activity levels, namely characters belonging to staff, characters that played an important role in various shop plots, or characters who have passed away during RP. If a character dies during RP, their roster sprite will be grayed out.
As TRHQ doesn't have a dedicated sprite artist, no new roster sprites will be made except for staff NPC's. Because of this, every sprite that was ever made has been added to the roster, including those whose sprites were updated, so don't worry if you think you might be seeing double!
